- Abstract
The article discusses the modulation of rice stress tolerance by transcription factors (TFs). Researchers discovered TFs involved in biotic and abiotic stress tolerance in the model monocotyledonous plant, rice. They explore how the elucidation of the function of these factors can be utilized to develop genetic engineering strategies and to rationalize molecular breeding through the use of molecular assisted selection towards enhancement of rice tolerance to different stresses.
