Metastasis of colorectal cancer (CRC) is a leading cause of mortality among CRC patients. Elevated COX-2 and PD-L1 expression in colon cancer tissue has been linked to distant metastasis of tumor cells. Although COX-2 inhibitors and immune checkpoint inhibitors demonstrate improved anti-tumor efficacy, their toxicity and variable therapeutic effects in individual patients raise concerns. To address this challenge, it is vital to identify traditional Chinese medicine components that modulate COX-2 and PD-1/PD-L1: rosmarinic acid (RA) exerts striking inhibitory effect on COX-2, while ginsenoside Rg1 (GR) possesses the potential to suppress the binding of PD-1/PD-L1. In this study we investigated whether the combination of RA and GR could exert anti-metastatic effects against CRC. MC38 tumor xenograft mouse model with lung metastasis was established. The mice were administered RA (100 mg·kg−1·d−1, i.g.) alone or in combination with GR (100 mg·kg−1·d−1, i.p.). We showed that RA (50, 100, 150 μM) or a COX-2 inhibitor Celecoxib (1, 3, 9 μM) concentration-dependently inhibited the migration and invasion of MC38 cells in vitro. We further demonstrated that RA and Celecoxib inhibited the metastasis of MC38 tumors in vitro and in vivo via interfering with the COX-2-MYO10 signaling axis and inhibiting the generation of filopodia. In the MC38 tumor xenograft mice, RA administration significantly decreased the number of metastatic foci in the lungs detected by Micro CT scanning; RA in combination with GR that had inhibitory effect on the binding of PD-1 and PD-L1 further suppressed the lung metastasis of colon cancer. Compared to COX-2 inhibitors and immune checkpoint inhibitors, RA and GR displayed better safety profiles without disrupting the tissue structures of the liver, stomach and colon, offering insights into the lower toxic effects of clinical traditional Chinese medicine against tumors while retaining its efficacy.

A series of Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna was design for embedded in LCD display module attempt to pass analogue power transfer at 13.56MHz used for EMV@(Europay, MasterCard and Visa) contactless payment transaction. However it was found that magnetic fields seems to seriously interfere by the display if antenna located behind the display module although increasing magnetic field strength of transmitter. As gradually built up the understanding of magnetic field interaction with LCD panel we find that is difficult to pass EMV@contactless specification by antenna optimized design only if there’s no display modification. The antenna structure proposed in this paper has been designed and simulated with frequency solver CST 2018. Finally, we proposed a total solution, an optimized NFC antenna transmitter embedded with a modified LCD structure that can pass EMV@contactless analogue power transfer criteria within specific testing volume.

In this work, the rational homoclinic solution (rogue wave solution) can be obtained via the classical homoclinic solution for the nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation and the coupled nonlinear Schrödinger (CNLS) equation, respectively. This is a new way for generating rogue wave comparing with direct constructing method and Darboux dressing technique

Different solid base catalysts used for the polymerization of glycerol were prepared by impregnation. Catalyst type and the preparation conditions were optimized on the base of polymerization degree. Results showed: the best catalyst was KF/Al2O3, and optimal condition for catalyst preparation was as follows: loading of 40% KF, calcinations temperature 600℃. The polymerization degree of 5.92 was obtained under the following reaction condition: the amount of catalyst 11.62,reaction temperature 250℃, reaction time 4 h.

WO3/ZrO2 solid superacid catalysts were prepared by coprecipitation and impregnation, then were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, Hammett indicator and pyridine chemisorption IR. The acid strength, acid type, acid volume, etc were compared under the different preparation conditions. The results indicated that the catalyst prepared by coprecipitation had stronger acid strength than the catalyst prepared by impregnation. The samples prepared by impregnation had more Lewis acid sites. With the increasing of the W/Zr ratio, the acid strength tended to increase at first and then decrease, and the catalyst with 10% WO3 loading amount had the strongest acidity. The higher the calcination temperature, the less the Lewis acid sites.
