Chronic pain is a primary health problem in people living with HIV (PWH). However, there is limited research regarding chronic pain among PWH in Chinese health care settings. To investigate biopsychosocial factors of chronic pain severity, we conducted a crosssectional study in Shenzhen, China. Chronic pain was defined as pain lasting for more than three months. Pain intensity was measured using the numeric rating scale (NRS). Among 123 hospitalized PWH, 78.86% of participants had mild pain and 21.14% had moderate-severe pain. Multiple logistic regression results indicated thatPWHin moderate-severe pain group were more likely to have higher levels of interleukin [IL]-6 (OR51.034, 95% CI: 1.003-1.066, p5.029) and anxiety (OR51.334, 95% CI: 1.071-1.662, p5.010) than those in the mild chronic pain group. We aimed to develop a team resource management (TRM) program that is logistically more efficient; we did so through the investigation of intrasystemic risk factors and through providing evidence-based support. We evaluated the program's clinical effects on accidental catheter removal (ACR) in an intensive care unit (ICU) of a medical center. Before developing the TRM program, we used a 3-year ICU dataset to identify 46 patients and 48 events of ACR comprising 65.2% endotracheal tubes and 19.6% central venous catheters. Through an assessment of baseline characteristics, we observed the following intrasystemic problems: inadequate communication to patients, insufficient identification of high-risk patients, lack of chemical sedation for eligible patients, discordant ICU team workflow and cross-monitoring, and inadequate professional training. A problem-targeting, multifaceted TRM program was implemented in an ICU in April 1, 2019, following an estimation of its clinical effectiveness through systemic review and meta-analysis. The ACR incidence remarkably decreased after implementing the TRM program; five ACR cases in 2017, five in 2018, one in 2019, and two in 2020. Background: An association between high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) oncoprotein expression and viral persistence has been suggested by the outcome of etiology studies, but there are no epidemiologic studies evaluating that link. Methods: We performed a 3-year prospective study in which 2,498 Chinese women ages 25 to 65 years were screened by six screening tests, including the OncoE6 Cervical Test (Arbor Vita Corporation) in 2011 (baseline). Six-hundred and ninety women who were positive for any of the tests and a random sample of 164 women with all negative results received colposcopy, and cervical specimens for the cobas 4800 HPV test ("cobas," Roche Molecular Systems) were collected before colposcopy; of this group, 737 cervical specimens were collected to perform cobas and OncoE6 Cervical Test in 2014 (follow-up). Twenty-four cases of HPV16/18 E6 positives and 204 selected controls at baseline, 13 cases of HPV16/18 E6 positive and another 204 selected controls at follow- up were analyzed separately using unconditional logistical regressionmodels to estimate ORs and 95% confidence intervals (CI). Results: Compared with women who were HPV16 E6 oncoprotein negative at baseline, women in the E6-positive group had a much higher risk of HPV persistence (adjusted OR, 54.64; 95% CI, 7.19-415.09) at 3-year follow-up; a statistically strong association was also found between HPV16/18 HPV persistence and E6 oncoprotein expression detected at follow-up (adjusted OR, 360.57; 95% CI, 28.30-4,593.55). Conclusions: A single detection of HPV16/18 E6 oncoprotein expression was strongly associated with viral persistence. Impact: HPV16/18 E6 oncoprotein constitutes a marker for risk of HPV persistence. Background. Zinc-binding protein-89 (ZBP-89), a Krüppel-type four-zinc finger transcription factor, is associated with many cellular functions, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. It has been reported to be involved in several human cancers. However, ZBP-89 expression pattern and its clinical significance have not yet been investigated in esophageal squamous cell cancer. Methods. In this study, immunostaining was performed to detect ZBP-89 expression in esophageal squamous cell cancer, and then the correlations between ZBP-89 expression and both clinicopathologic variables and overall survival were analyzed. Results. Compared with adjacent normal tissues, ZBP-89 expression was significantly upregulated in esophageal squamous cell cancer tissues. Increased ZBP-89 expression was associated with N category (p = 0.009) and TNM stage (p = 0.023). Patients with high expression of ZBP-89 demonstrated shortened overall survival compared with those with low expression of ZBP-89 (mean overall survival, 56.961 months versus 76.029 months; p < 0.001). Multivariate Cox regression analysis indicated that ZBP-89 expression had a significant, independent predictive value for survival of esophageal squamous cell cancer (relative risk, 1.581; p = 0.024). Conclusions. Our data show that increased expression of ZBP-89 is associated with poor prognosis for esophageal squamous cell cancer patients and may act as a novel, useful, and independent prognostic indicator for esophageal squamous cell cancer. Abstract: In wind tunnel tests, the pose of the aircraft model in wire-driven parallel suspension system (WDPSS) is determined by driving several wires. Pose measurement is very important for the study of WDPSS. Using machine vision technology, Monocular Vision Measurement System has been constructed to estimate the pose of the aircraft model by applying a camera calibration, by extracting corresponding control points for the aircraft model, and by applying several homogeneous transformations. This article describes the programs of the measurement system, measurement principle and data processing methods which is based on HALCON to achieve the Solution of the pose of aircraft model. Both diffuse axonal injury (DAI) and fat embolism syndrome could be the cause of altered consciousness in patients who suffered from traffic accident. In some situations, distinguishing DAI from fat embolism syndrome may be difficult because routine brain imaging could not detect the lesions. Susceptibility weighted imaging is sensitive to detect petechial hemorrhages in cerebral fat embolism and DAI. The areas most vulnerable to DAI are the cerebral gray-white matter junction, splenium of the corpus callosum, and dorsolateral brainstem. However, cerebral and cerebellar white matter and splenium of corpus callosum are the areas most vulnerable to cerebral fat embolism. In additional to history, clinical manifestation, and prognosis, evaluating the distribution of hypointense lesions in susceptibility-weighted imaging could be useful to differentiate these 2 conditions.
