In order to develop predictive control algorithms for efficient energy management and monitoring for residential grid connected photovoltaic systems, accurate and reliable photovoltaic (PV) power forecasts are required. A PV yield prediction system is presented based on an irradiance forecast model and a PV model. The PV power forecast is obtained from the irradiance forecast using the PV model. The proposed irradiance forecast model is based on multiple feed-forward neural networks. The global horizontal irradiance forecast has a mean absolute percentage error of 3.4% on a sunny day and 23% on a cloudy day for Stuttgart. PV power forecasts based on the neural network irradiance forecast have performed much better than the PV power persistence forecast model.

Gathering knowledge not only of the current but also the upcoming wind speed is getting more and more important as the experience of operating and maintaining wind turbines is increasing. Not only with regards to operation and maintenance tasks such as gearbox and generator checks but moreover due to the fact that energy providers have to sell the right amount of their converted energy at the European energy markets, the knowledge of the wind and hence electrical power of the next day is of key importance. Selling more energy as has been offered is penalized as well as offering less energy as contractually promised. In addition to that the price per offered kWh decreases in case of a surplus of energy. Achieving a forecast there are various methods in computer science: fuzzy logic, linear prediction or neural networks. This paper presents current results of wind speed forecasts using recurrent neural networks (RNN) and the gradient descent method plus a backpropagation learning algorithm. Data used has been extracted from NASA's Modern Era-Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications (MERRA) which is calculated by a GEOS-5 Earth System Modeling and Data Assimilation system. The presented results show that wind speed data can be forecasted using historical data for training the RNN. Nevertheless, the current set up system lacks robustness and can be improved further with regards to accuracy.

AbstractEs gibt nichts in unsern Versen, was nicht auf Adam pat, und alles pat nur auf Adam. Mit diesen Worten brachte E. Ksemann die sogenannte heilsgeschichtliche Deutung von Rm 7 auf den Punkt. In der Geschichte der Auslegung von Rm 7 wurde sie immer wieder erwogen, in die moderne Exegese wurde sie mageblich von S. Lyonnet eingebracht. Sie besagt, in Rm 7, insbesondere in Rm 7,911, werde auf die Erzhlung ber Paradies und Sndenfall in Gen 3 Bezug genommen. Seit Ksemanns prgnanter und einflussreicher Formulierung wird diese Deutung immer wieder diskutiert, und zwar mit der Tendenz, dass die deutschsprachige Forschung dazu neigt, einen Bezug des vieldiskutierten Ich auf Adam anzunehmen, whrend die englischsprachige Forschung eher skeptisch blieb. Diejenigen Exegeten, die eine Anspielung auf Gen 3 annehmen, vertreten freilich hinsichtlich der Details der Beziehung zwischen den beiden Texten durchaus unterschiedliche Positionen: Whrend von einigen in dem Ich in diesen Versen ausschlielich Adam gesehen wird, steht es nach Ansicht anderer fr Adam und alle adamitischen Menschen. Damit verknpft ist eine unterschiedliche Auffassung davon, wie Paulus den Sndenfall in Gen 3 hier versteht: eher exemplarisch (der adamitische Mensch sndigt wieAdam) oder eher kausal (der adamitische Mensch sndigt, weilAdam sndigte, und eben darum kategorial anders als Adam). Umstritten ist schlielich auch das Verhltnis zwischen Tora um die es ja im argumentativen Zusammenhang von Rm 7 geht und Paradiesgebot: Werden die beiden identifiziert wofr es traditionsgeschichtliche Belege aus dem antiken Judentum gibt? Oder ist das Gebot an Adam, der in der Lage war, nicht zu sndigen, auf einer anderen Ebene als die Tora, die immer schon auf den sndigen adamitischen Menschen trifft?

A course consisting of 4 hours of theoretical teaching a week and 4 hours of practical laboratory work every two weeks was established at COPPE/UFRJ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to initiate education on solar electric systems (also photovoltaic (PV) systems).
