The cytological diagnosis of atypical squamous cells that cannot exclude high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (ASC-H) is subjective and entails great variation in the risk of HSIL+. Therefore, we retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathological outcomes of patients with ASC-H cytology from January 2018 to June 2021 to determine associated predictors for diagnosing HSIL+ and explore their appropriate clinical management. Overall, 279 patients with ASC-H cytology were enrolled, 64.9% (181/279) of whom were histopathologically confirmed as HSIL+. Further analysis showed that only human papillomavirus (HPV) positivity was an independent risk factor for HSIL+ in ASCH patients. Additionally, no significant difference was observed in the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) of the three HPV testing methods (hybrid capture (HC) II, HPV E6E7 mRNA and HPV genotyping testing) for detecting HSIL+ (p > 0.05). The perfect agreement between colposcopy and final histology was 40.5%, with a κ value of 0.145. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV and NPV of colposcopy for detecting HSIL+ were 32.6%, 91.8%, 87.9% and 42.3%, respectively. After cervical conization, none of the patients diagnosed with normal/benign histopathology by cervical biopsy was reclassified to HSIL+, while 39.5% (17/43) of the low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL) patients were reclassified as HSIL. During follow-up, ASC-H patients diagnosed with LSIL had a high rate of normalization (70%) and a low rates of persistence (20%) and progression (10%). In four ASC-H patients younger than 30 years old with HSIL (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) 2), two normalized and two persisted during followup. In conclusion, ASC-H patients should be directly referred for colposcopy and undergo biopsy irrespective of their age, menopausal status and HPV status. Emerging researches have regarded serum chloride as a capable predictor of mortality in liver cirrhosis. We aim to investigate the clinical role of admission chloride in cirrhotic patients with esophagogastric varices receiving transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS), which is unclear. We retrospectively analyzed data of cirrhotic patients with esophagogastric varices undergoing TIPS in Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. Mortality outcome was obtained by following up for 1-year after TIPS. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression were used to identify independent predictors of 1-year mortality post-TIPS. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were adopted to assess the predictive ability of the predictors. In addition, log-rank test and Kaplan–Meier (KM) analyses were employed to evaluate the prognostic value of predictors in the survival probability. A total of 182 patients were included ultimately. Age, fever symptom, platelet-to lymphocyte-ratio (PLR), lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR), total bilirubin, serum sodium, chloride, and Child-Pugh score were related to 1-year follow-up mortality. In multivariate Cox regression analysis, serum chloride (HR = 0.823, 95% CI = 0.757–0.894, p < 0.001) and Child-Pugh score (HR = 1.401, 95% CI = 1.151–1.704, p = 0.001) were identified as independent predictors of 1-year mortality. Patients with serum chloride <107.35 mmol/L showed worse survival probability than those with serum chloride ≥107.35 mmol/L no matter with or without ascites (p < 0.05). Admission hypochloremia and increasing Child-Pugh score are independent predictors of 1-year mortality in cirrhotic patients with esophagogastric varices receiving TIPS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

It is of great significance to improve the aeolian soil in Mu Us Sandy Land by using soft rock for resource recycling and low-carbon environment development. In this study, four kinds of mixed soils with a volume ratio of 0:1 (CK), 1:5 (PS1), 1:2 (PS2) and 1:1 (PS3) were selected as the research objects. The soil comprehensive properties were studied by collecting rhizosphere soil after crop harvest. The results showed that the distribution of large aggregates appeared in the composite soil, and the number of large aggregates increased with the increase of the proportion of soft rock, and the large aggregates were mainly mechanically stable aggregates. The organic matter content of PS2 and PS3 increased by 59.02% and 48.54% compared with CK, and the change trend of soil available potassium was the same as that of organic matter. The content of available phosphorus in the mixed soil increased significantly, with an increase of 86.58%~345.57%. Actinobaciota, Proteobateria, Chloroflexi, Acidobacteriota and Firmicutes were the dominant bacteria in rhizosphere soil, accounting for about 85% of the total number of all microorganisms, and Actinobaciota shows absolute advantages at different classification levels. The diversity index and richness index were higher in PS1 and PS2, and the available potassium content promoted the increase of diversity. Therefore, when the proportion of soft rock is 33.33%, it can be used as a better choice to improve the sandy land, and the comprehensive properties of the soil are better. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To enhance the information literacy among college teachers, it is necessary to evaluate their existing information awareness, information ethics, information techniques and information competence. Existing studies qualitatively analysed the effective means of enhancing information literacy among college teachers, and the dimensions were too homogeneous. In response, this paper studies the machine learning-based evaluation of college teachers' information literacy enhancement. Firstly, the paper presents a framework of predictive model on information literacy enhancement evaluation of college teachers, and the influencing factors of college teachers' information technology usage behaviour (ITUB) from the authors' viewpoint. Then the paper presents a framework diagram for extracting ITUB features, along with a detailed introduction to specific influencing factors. After that, the paper extracts the potential information in the content of information technology behaviour to be predicted. The content features of ITUB are characterised by two aspects: content similarity and data form features. Next, the paper shows a method for calculating the affective polarity of ITUB. Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) fusions represent the second most common oncogenic driver mutation in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). As the new class of 3rd generation of ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), lorlatinib has shown robust potency and brain-penetrant clinical activity against a wide spectrum of multiple resistance mutations within the ALK domain detected during crizotinib and 2nd generation ALK TKI treatment. Lorlatinib is generally well-tolerated with unique adverse drug reaction/adverse event, including hyperlipidemia and central nervous system effects, which are mostly mild to moderate severity and manageable through dosage modifications and/or standard medical intervention. For advanced NSCLC with ALK positivity, patients should be evaluated for baseline characteristics and pre-existing medication, informed of the potential toxicities, and periodically monitored to balance benefits and risks. At present, the entrepreneurship of college students is rarely successfully. It is of great significance to reasonably evaluate college students’ entrepreneurial competency, and discuss how to improve their entrepreneurial performance. The existing studies only focus on specific jobs, and emphasize on theoretical research. There is little report on the empirical quantification and effective promotion of the evaluation model, or on the effects of quality development training. Therefore, this paper explores the influence of quality development over college students’ entrepreneurial competency. Firstly, the indices of college students’ entrepreneurial competency were examined under the effect of quality development. The research contents were combined with the features of the entrepreneurship of college students, the training requirements of quality development, and the current background of society, politics, and economics, producing a reasonable composite evaluation index system. Next, the composite weights of the evaluation indices were solved by the hierarchical structure model and dominant feature recognition model of college students’ entrepreneurial competency. On this basis, the dominant feature recognition model was established for college students’ entrepreneurial competency under quality development planning. Through experiments, the proposed evaluation index system was proved scientific, and the entrepreneurial competency was evaluated for an entrepreneurial team of college students. Marine oil spill pollution is one of the most serious marine ecological disasters. The current evaluation method of ecological restoration effect of marine oil spill pollution, has poor calculation ability of oil film thickness and image recognition ability of pollution area, resulting in a large number of abnormal evaluation results. In this study, the TM remote sensing is introduced into the evaluation method of ecological restoration effect of marine oil spill pollution. The TM remote sensing images are classified according to the image texture features and Bayesian classification method to determine the treatment area of marine oil spill. The nonlinear function of oil spill analysis is constructed by interpolation method combined with the radiation value of remote sensing sensor to determine the oil film thickness. The ecological restoration effect evaluation index is selected, and the remote sensing image data is substituted into it to construct the ecological restoration effect evaluation model of marine oil spill pollution. The experimental results show that the calculation ability of oil film thickness and the image recognition ability of pollution area of TM remote sensing method are better than the current method, and more accurate results can be obtained by using this method. Every launch and recycling system of an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) needs to be specially designed for every ship and relies on manual operation to hook and unhook, which results in a high-cost, high-risk, and low success rate. To solve these difficult problems, this study develops a new type of launch and recycle (L&R) system for USVs that realizes automatic guidance docking, launch, and recycling between ships and the USV. The contributions of this paper are mainly: (1) A new type of automatic launch and recycling system with cablethrowing, guiding, and locking mechanisms is proposed to achieve an efficient and automatic physical connection between the USV and ship crane and overcome the problem of the launch and recycling tasks needing manual assistance for the USV. (2) A dynamic predictive approach that combines an estimation of the motion trajectory for the cable-throwing ball (abbreviated as the ball) under multiple disturbances and an attitude predictive model based on a nonlinear autoregressive neural network for USVs is proposed. The proposed approach realizes the accurate prediction of the launch moment for the ball based on the physical connection between the USV and ship and raises the success rate of launching and recycling in harsh environments. Offshore experiments showed that the system requires only 80 s and the success rate is 100% during the launch of a USV; additionally, the system requires no more than 190 s and the success rate is 99% to recycle a USV. Compared to the baseline for L&R method, the proposed method in this paper reduces the application costs and promotes the L&R success rate for the USV. Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) fusion gene, as a tumor driver gene, was crucial for the occurrence and development of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Recently, targeted ALK fusion gene has become the main treatment method for ALK-positive NSCLC. The first and second generation ALK inhibitors (ALKi), such as crizotinib, ceritinib, alectinib and ensartinib have been approved in China. However, there was no guidance for the management of ALKi adverse reactions. Therefore, this "Recommendations from experts in the management of adverse reactions to ALK inhibitors (2021 version)" has been summarized, led by Lung Cancer Professional Committee of Sichuan Cancer Society and Sichuan Medical Quality Control Center for Tumor Diseases, to provide practical and feasible strategies for clinical ALKi management specification of adverse reactions. Ozone is a strong oxidant which has a good degradation effect on organic matter and a good disinfection effect. In the present study, the effects of different ozone concentration and treatment time on total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, organic matter (OM), 5 day biological oxygen demand (BOD5), chemical oxygen demand (CODCr) and hygiene indexes in pig manure water under the condition of 5% total solid concentration (TS) were studied. The current research aims at optimizing concentration and time of ozone treatment in pig manure water. Therefore, 5 different ozone concentrations (i.e. 0, 60, 120, 180 and 240 mg/L) are applied to treat fecal water for 10, 20, 30 and 40 minutes. The results showed that the pH, OM content, total phosphorus, total potassium and total nitrogen content of fecal water do not change significantly. On the other hand, with the increasing ozone concentration and treatment time, the contents of BOD5, CODCr and suspended solid (SS) in fecal water have a decreasing trend. While the mortality rate of eggs of Ascaris lumbricoides were 95%, the number of E. coli groups was 10-4 as the standards. According to the obtained data, the effect of ozone has enhanced with increasing ozone concentrations. The optimal treatment condition was applying ozone at 240 mg/L for 40 minutes. Background: The H5 avian influenza viruses (AIVs) of clade 2.3.4.4 circulate in wild and domestic birds worldwide. In 2017, nine strains of H5N6 AIVs were isolated from aquatic poultry in Xinjiang, Northwest China. Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the origin, reassortment, and mutations of the AIV isolates. Methods: AIVs were isolated from oropharyngeal and cloacal swabs of poultry. Identification was accomplished by inoculating isolates into embryonated chicken eggs and performing hemagglutination tests and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The viral genomes were amplified with RT-PCR and then sequenced. The sequence alignment, phylogenetic, and molecular characteristic analyses were performed by using bioinformatic software. Results: Nine isolates originated from the same ancestor. The viral HA gene belonged to clade 2.3.4.4B, while the NA gene had a close phylogenetic relationship with the 2.3.4.4C H5N6 highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses (HPAIVs) isolated from shoveler ducks in Ningxia in 2015. The NP gene was grouped into an independent subcluster within the 2.3.4.4B H5N8 AIVs, and the remaining six genes all had close phylogenetic relationships with the 2.3.4.4B H5N8 HPAIVs isolated from the wild birds in China, Egypt, Uganda, Cameroon, and India in 2016-2017, Multiple basic amino acid residues associated with HPAIVs were located adjacent to the cleavage site of the HA protein. The nine isolates comprised reassortant 2.3.4.4B HPAIVs originating from 2.3.4.4B H5N8 and 2.3.4.4C H5N6 viruses in wild birds. Conclusions: These results suggest that the Northern Tianshan Mountain wetlands in Xinjiang may have a key role in AIVs disseminating from Central China to the Eurasian continent and East African. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Phyllanthus Emblica polysaccharide (PEP) on immunomodulation and intestinal flora in cyclophosphamide (CTX)-treated female mice. The results showed that PEP could directly modulate the immune activity of cyclophosphamide (CTX) in mice by attenuating its damage to spleen, thymus and intestinal tissues. Meanwhile, our study revealed that PEP could activate TLR4-mediated MAPK and NF-κB pathways and promote the expression of cytokines such as IL-2 and TNF-α, thus modulating the immune function of immunosuppressed mice. In addition, PEP was positively correlated with immune properties, with the strongest correlation with spleen index, and PEP could also regulate the immune function of mice by modulating the intestinal flora, such as increasing the content of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Aeolian sandy soil, common in Mu Us, China has poor structure and water holding capacity. The soft montmorillonite clay stone was used to adjust the structure and characteristics of sand soil. In this study, the soft montmorillonite clay stone was mixed with sand in the volume ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:5. Soil texture, organic matter content (OMC), and effects on crop yield from 2010 to 2018 were determined. When corn (Zea mays L.) was planted, the clay content, fractal dimension (FD), and OMC of the 1:2 compound soil showed a steadily increasing trend with a higher rate than the 1:1 and 1:5 compound soil. When potato (Solanum tuberosum L.)was planted, the increasing rates of the FD and OMC were largest in the 1:5 compound soil. Potato planting increased the FD of the soil particles by 15.3%, and the OMC was 13.76 times higher than it was prior to planting. Corn and potato crops had the largest sustainable yield index (SYI) and average yield, and the smallest coefficient of variation (CV) in the 1:2 and 1:5 compound soils, respectively. This indicated that 1:2 and 1:5 compound soils allowed for the highest yield stability and sustainability. The 1:2 and 1:5 compound soils were suitable for corn and potato growth, and the compound soil properties exhibited a sustainable and stable development trend. Therefore, this indicates that 1:2--1:5 compound ratios can be used as the optimum sand clay ratios for improving the characteristics of aeolian sandy soil using soft rock. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Even though lodging seriously affects the growth and development of rice (Oryza sativa L.) little is known about the stem and root microstructural characteristics of lodging resistant and non-lodging resistant rice. In this study, one lodging resistant rice variety lingliangyou238 (R1), and two non-lodging resistant rice varieties, luliangyou996 (S1) and zhuliangyou819 (S2), were used to conduct synchrotronbased X-ray micro-computed tomography. We found that the lodging resistant rice variety R1 had a third internode (N3) length that was reduced by 37.4% compared to S1. Meanwhile, the area of stem cross section, area of the medullary cavity, and the number of large and small vascular bundles in the N3 of R1 increased by 73.56, 73.10, 18.55, and 17.74%, respectively, compared to S2. In the 3D structure, there are many pore structures in the inner wall of the rice stalk. Quantitative analysis showed that the ratio of length/width of the pores of R1 was lower than S1 and S2. In the fourth internode, the volume and surface area of the large vascular bundle vessel of R1 was greater than S1 and S2. In the root system, we found that R1 had more cortical cells, and its length/width value was lower than S1 and S2. Our findings implied that besides the 2D level, more 3D information is needed to reveal the relationship between lodging and the spatial structure of the crop. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Rural informatization is an important indicator of the level of agricultural modernization and the quality of rural development, and an important content of the construction of a new socialist countryside. Rural informatization is playing an increasingly crucial role in promoting the development of modern agriculture, improving the living standards of rural residents, and alleviating poverty. Based on the panel data from 2007 to 2018, the study uses entropy method to measure rural informatization level, and builds panel threshold dynamic regression model in order to analyze the effect of informatization level on rural economic growth in this region. The results show that the informatization level has significantly single threshold effect on rural economic growth. As the knowledge level and skill level belong to a two-threshold model, macro control should be taken when raising the knowledge level and skill level of rural human capital in the region, and the knowledge level and skill level of rural human capital should be reasonably improved to prevent it from being too high or not. Rice kernel shape affects kernel quality (appearance) and yield (1000-kernel weight) and therefore is an important agronomic trait, but its inheritance is complicated. We identified a long-kernel rice chromosome segment substitution line (CSSL), Z741, derived from Nipponbare as a recipient and Xihui 18 as a donor parent. Z741 has six substitution segments distributed on rice chromosomes 3, 6, 7, 8 and 12 with an average replacement length of 5.82 Mb. Analysis of a secondary F 2 population from a cross between Nipponbare and Z741 identified 20 QTLs for important agronomic traits. The kernel length of Z741 is controlled by a major QTL (qKL3) and a minor QTL (qKL7). Candidate gene prediction and sequencing indicated that qKL3 may be an allele of OsPPKL1 , which encodes a protein phosphatase implicated in brassinosteroid signaling, and qKL7 is an unreported QTL. Finally, we validated eight QTLs (qKL3 , qKL7 , qRLW3-1 , qRLW7 , qPH3-1 , qKWT3 , qKWT7 and qNPB6) using three selected single- segment substitution lines (SSSLs), S1, S2 and S3. Also, we detected five QTLs (qKL6 , qKW3 , qKW7 , qKW6 and qRLW6) in S1, S2 and S3, which were not found in the Nipponbare/Z741 F 2 population. However, qNPB3 , qNPB7 and qPL3 QTLs were not validated by the three SSSLs in 2019, suggesting that minor QTLs are susceptible to environmental factors. Background and objective Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) rearrangement is a common driver gene of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Ceritinib is a second-generation ALK inhibitor, which can bring survival benefits to ALK-positive metastatic NSCLC. However, few studies focus on the safety and efficacy of ceritinib in China. Therefore, this study intends to investigate the safety and preliminary efficacy of ceritinib 450 mg with meals in Chinese patients with ALK-positive NSCLC through a real world study. Methods From October 2018 to December 2019, patients with ALK-positive NSCLC from 8 medical centers in Sichuan province were recruited in this study. All of these participants received ceritinib 450 mg/d with food. The basic characteristics, adverse effects (AEs) and responses were collected and analyzed in order to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ceritinib. Results A total of 109 patients were included in this study. Data cutoff was January 23, 2020. The median duration of treatment exposure was 5.87 mon (range: 0.4 mon-15.7 mon). Total AEs were reported in 98 (89.9%) of 109 patients and grade 3 or 4 AEs were reported in 22.9% of patients. Most common AEs (mainly grade 1 or 2) were diarrhea (60.6%), elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT)(38.5%) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST)(37.6%). As of data cutoff, 45 patients discontinued ceritinib. The overall response rate (ORR) was 37.6% (95%CI: 28.5%-47.4%) and disease control rate (DCR) was 86.2% (95%CI: 78.3%-92.1%). Conclusion The treatment of ceritinib 450 mg with food for Chinese ALK-positive NSCLC patients had a good safety profile and favorable DCR in real-world setting. The prevention and treatment of ischaemic stroke is a worldwide challenge, and effective clinical treatment strategies are lacking. Studies have demonstrated the efficacy of Verbena officinalis in managing cerebrovascular disorders. However, the neuroprotective bioactive components and mechanisms remain unclear. To investigate the pharmacological combinatorial components and mechanism underlying the anti-ischemic stroke effect of the ethanol extract of Verbena officinalis (VO Ex). The components of VO Ex were identified by HPLC. A middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) induced brain injury model was used to assess the therapeutic effect of VO Ex. The activity of the chemical components of VO Ex was evaluated using a primary astrocyte injury model induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R). RNA sequencing was used to reveal the potential targets of VO Ex against cerebral ischemia–reperfusion injury (CIRI), and the results were verified by qRT-PCR and western blotting. The key components and target binding ability were predicted by molecular docking. Finally, the mechanism of combinatorial components was verified by experiments. The HPLC results indicated that the main ingredients of VO Ex were hastatoside, verbenalin, acteoside, luteolin, apigenin and hispidulin. In vivo experiments showed that VO Ex improved MCAO-induced acute cerebral ischemic injury. Transcriptomic data and biological experiments suggested that VO Ex exerted therapeutic effects through IL17A signalling pathways. The in vitro experiments indicated that verbenalin, acteoside, luteolin, apigenin and hispidulin exhibited neuroprotective activities. The novel formula of VALAH, derived from the aforementioned active ingredients, exhibited superior efficacy compared to each individual component. Molecular docking and mechanistic studies have confirmed that VALAH functions in the treatment of ischaemic stroke by suppressing the activation of the IL17A signalling pathway. This work is the first to reveal that VO Ex effectively inhibits the IL17A signaling pathway and mitigates neuroinflammation following ischemic stroke. Moreover, we identified the novel formula VALAH as the bioactive combinatorial components for VO Ex. Further research suggests that the activity of VALAH is associated with IL17A-mediated regulation of neuroinflammation.
