This study presents a novel sensor that combines air pressure and temperature measurement using dual-interference microfiber resonators. The sensor leverages intermode interference and the resonant ring resonance effects within the microfiber loop structure, enabling simultaneous demodulation of temperature and air pressure. We have developed a mathematical model that is closely monitored alongside the reflectance spectral structure. The sensor exhibits two distinct linear sensitivities for pressure and two different linear sensitivities for temperature, as revealed by our testing results. Specifically, microfiber mode interference demonstrates a temperature and pressure sensitivity of 160 pm/°C and 167 pm/kPa, respectively, while the ring resonance effect yields a temperature and pressure sensitivity of 132 pm/°C and 62 pm/kPa, respectively. The maximum temperature resolution stands at 0.025 °C, and the pressure resolution is 0.023 kPa. These findings are supported by the concept of a linear connection, which serves as the foundation of the transmission matrix and enables concurrent discrimination of air pressure and temperature. This sensor offers advantages due to its straightforward structure, high extinction ratio, superior electrical safety, and effective protection against electromagnetic interference.

Wood possesses a uniform hierarchical porous structure and high mechanical strength, rendering it an excellent precursor for the preparation of self-supporting carbon electrodes without binders and conductive agents. This paper presents an efficient method for synthesizing a self-supporting carbon electrode (HCW-0.7) with high specific surface area, hierarchical pore structure and abundant surface functional groups, utilizing simple hydrothermal pre-treatment and one-step thermochemical conversion process. The HCW-0.7 electrode demonstrates remarkable electrochemical performance, achieving an excellent specific capacitance of 298.52 F g−1under a current density of 0.5 A g−1. The wood-based symmetrical supercapacitor (HSC) constructed with HCW-0.7 as the electrode has excellent energy density, power density and rate performance. At the power density of 287.5 W kg−1, HSC demonstrates an energy density of 9.43 Wh kg−1, exhibits its excellent electrochemical performance. Notably, even when subject to a higher power density of 5750 W kg−1, the energy density remains at 5.16 Wh kg−1. Furthermore, even after 20,000 charge and discharge cycles, HSC demonstrates a remarkable capacity retention rate of 96.24 %.

Metal oxide-zeolite (OX-ZEO) bifunctional catalysts have been shown to have excellent aromatic selectivity and catalytic stability in syngas conversion; however, low CO conversion hinders their further development. In this paper, a series of In-ZrO2bi-metallic oxides with In/Zr molar ratio ranging of 1/100−1/1 were prepared. After thoroughly investigated by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, N2sorption, pyridine-adsorbed infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance and temperature programmed desorption technologies, we found that introduction of indium has significantly influence on the catalytic performance due to the variation of sample's physicochemical properties. Indium species was benefit to the dissociation of H2that promotes CO activation. Nevertheless, it also induced the formation of more CH4. In-ZrO2oxide with In/Zr ratio of 1/50 showed CO conversion of 18.2% with the selectivity of oxygenates of 86.4%. After combined with H-ZSM-5, In/Zr=1/50&H-ZSM-5 gave CO conversion of 46.5% with C5+selectivity of 62.6% and the aromatic selectivity in C5+reached 93.4%. However, the catalytic stability of this bifunctional catalyst was gradually decreased due to the aggregation of indium atoms.

•Long-term CB exposure mainly affects the Purkinje cells.•Long-term CB exposure induces inflammation and autophagy in the cerebellum.•Short-term recovery cannot significantly change the effect of CB on the cerebellum.

Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-8) were synthesized by solvothermal method. Used as precursor, ZIF-8 was decomposed into nanoparticles ZnO at different pyrolysis temperature in air atmosphere. The composition, structure and crystal size of ZnO were characterized by XRD, TEM, XPS, and Raman methods. The ZnO nanoparticles were coupled with HZSM-5 to form bifunctional catalysts. The catalytic performances of bifunctional catalysts in the syngas conversion were investigated in a fixed-bed tubular reactor. The results demonstrate that the pyrolysis temperature has an important influence on the particle size of ZnO. The temperature affects the rate of grain formation. High temperature promotes the aggregation of ZnO. The ZnO grain size by changing the temperature plays a role in changing the product distribution. When the pyrolysis temperature is near or below 450°C, carbon-coated ZnO nanoparticles are obtained, and the ZnO grain size is less than 20 nm. The carbon-coated ZnO coupled with HZSM-5 catalyzes syngas mainly into dimethyl ether (DME). When the temperature is higher than 450°C, pure phase ZnO nanoparticles are obtained, and the ZnO grain size is larger than 20 nm. The pure ZnO coupled with HZSM-5 catalyzes syngas mainly into hydrocarbons. Obviously, the coupling modes of ZnO and HZSM-5 have a significant effect on the product selectivity of bifunctional catalysts.

Middle-aged to elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) exhibit reduced functional connectivity and brain atrophy underlying cognitive decrements; however, little is known about brain abnormalities in young patients.

Adopting orthogonal design method in the SFRHSC mix design, only a few experiments would be needed in the study on many influential factors with different level in mix design. The authors studied the SFRHSC mix design of a long-span shell construction as an example, analyzed the influential patterns of SFRHSC workability and strength with different additives. The significance of influential factors were determined by the experiment, and better mix design which meet the design and construction requirements was obtained. The approach to applying mathematic statistics in the mix design of the SFRHSC plays significant role in the material study and engineering practice. The results of experiment study can be reference to other similar projects.

This paper did quantitive flaw detection research to the defective parts of turnout point switch by using infrared thermal wave nondestructive testing based of the theory of infrared nondestructive testing. By using ANSYS, I made the numeric simulation test to parts of the inside known defection point switch, and made calculation and analysis for the result of this numeric simulation test. The result demonstrated that this method can achieve the quantitive infrared thermal wave nondestructive testing to defective parts of point switch.

Two configurations of orthogonal double-pulse laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (DP-LIBS) and their corresponding signal enhancement mechanisms were investigated in this paper. For pre-ablation DP-LIBS configuration, the first laser was input in parallel to the sample surface while the second laser was perpendicularly input onto the sample surface. For reheating DP-LIBS configuration, the first laser was perpendicularly input onto the sample surface and the second laser was input in parallel to the sample surface. The signal intensities were enhanced using both orthogonal DP-LIBS configurations compared to single laser pulse LIBS. The differences of physical mechanisms involved for both schemes were analyzed using time-resolved spectroscopic technique. Continuous spectrum intensity was reduced using pre-ablation DP-LIBS excitation while it was increased with reheating DP-LIBS excitation. Nine consecutive intensity measurements were performed. Fifteen spectral lines were investigated. The average relative standard deviation of fifteen lines for pre-ablation, reheating DP-LIBS and single pulse LIBS was 5.83%, 1.69% and 4.82%, respectively. It was demonstrated that signal repeatability of reheating configuration was better than that of pre-ablation configuration. A correlation between the enhancements of emission line intensities and their excitation energy levels was established for reheating and pre-ablation double-pulse approach. It was found that reheating configuration showed better improvement in sensitivity at high excitation energy levels compared with pre-ablation configuration.

A new method of CNC machine tool servo system fault diagnosis expert system is proposed.We analyse and design the protype structure of CNC machine tool servo system fault diagnosis expert system base on the methods and theories of expert system. Feasible for the establishment of the expert system are described from knowledge base to reasoning model,and we also provide an important basis for the establishment and development of the expert system.

To investigate the relationship between rice genotypic variation in tolerance to iron (Fe) toxicity and nutrient element status, 10 rice genotypes with different growing performances under Fe toxicity were grown under normal culture solution and with excessive ferrous (Fe2+)-Fe concentrations of 250 and 500 mg Fe2+ L-1. A close relationship was obtained between the relative ratio of symptomatic leaf numbers to total leaf numbers (SLN/TLN) and a relative decrease in dry matter under Fe2+-toxicity conditions. The genotypic variations in nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and magnesium (Mg) uptake were evaluated by the relative decrease in the N, P, K, and Mg content in the plants. Remarkable genotypic variation in tolerance to excessive Fe2+ was observed. The results indicated that excessive Fe2+ reduced N, P, K, and Mg uptake. The nutrient element concentrations, however, were still higher above deficient criteria even in severely affected plants, suggesting that the retardation of growth may not be intirely due to the deficiency of these elements in plants at the seedling stage. Significant correlations were found between the genotypic variation and the decrease in N, P, K, and Mg uptake and in their tolerance to Fe2+ toxicity, which suggests that the ability to maintain higher nutrient element uptake under a Fe2+-toxic condition contributes the tolerance to Fe2+ toxicity.

Particle physics has an ambitious and broad experimental programme for the coming decades. This programme requires large investments in detector hardware, either to build new facilities and experiments, or to upgrade existing ones. Similarly, it requires commensurate investment in the R&D of software to acquire, manage, process, and analyse the shear amounts of data to be recorded. In planning for the HL-LHC in particular, it is critical that all of the collaborating stakeholders agree on the software goals and priorities, and that the efforts complement each other. In this spirit, this white paper describes the R&D activities required to prepare for this software upgrade.

Background:During last few years, intestinal microbiota, as a vital biological regulatory substance after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), has been attached with growing importance. Probiotics in yogurt may have positive effect in protecting intestinal microbiota diversity and improving the prognosis of patients after HSCT. However, the safety of supplement yogurt has not been evaluated in the early phase of HSCT. In order to evaluate the safety and feasibility of yogurt, we conducted a pilot study in patients who had undergone unrelated cord blood transplantation (UCBT).
