The article focuses on a study which investigated the clinical characteristics of Huntington disease in Chinese patients. The study utilized data from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure published between 1980 and 2008. It found that 97.1 percent of patients with Huntington disease had a family history of the disease. The study also discovered the symptoms associated with Huntington disease including involuntary movement, disturbed intelligence and psychiatric symptoms.
