This article presents a study of the university-industry linkages in art and design higher education, focusing on the collaborative efforts between universities and the creative sector in Indonesia and Taiwan. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews and literature reviews were conducted. An automated content analysis of seven semi-structured interviews with lecturers, designers, and the government stressed the importance of university and industry linkages. This study found that despite the prevalent practice of industrial cooperation with universities in the Indonesian higher education system, challenges persist in effectively connecting graduates with employment opportunities in the creative industry sectors. In response, the Indonesian government and universities have implemented policies to support collaboration programs to address these challenges. Conversely, Taiwan has recognized the potential of its creative industry assets to create a promising market and has placed significant value on the benefits derived from industry-university collaboration. In the development of the defense industry, Indonesia focuses on creating a defense industry that has high competitiveness, has strong capabilities and can support national defense and security as well as realizing independence by not depending on foreign-made defense equipment as the main goal in meeting the needs of its own defense equipment. This study aims to analyze the cooperation of the Supporting Industry, especially PT Dirgantara Indonesia and the role of the government as a policy maker in realizing the independence of the Defense Industry. This study uses qualitative methods and uses descriptive analysis using data obtained through observations and interviews with relevant officials and management staff of Supporting Industry companies. The results of the study explain that there has been cooperation between the Supporting Industries and Government policies that support the independence of the Defense Industry, but its implementation has not been maximized. Conventional contracting nowadays has disadvantages for fast-changing high-tech industries due to technology and market uncertainty. Observations found that cooperation between firms often operates in more innovative ways which were recognized as “Contracting for Innovation.” However, their study was conducted in a developed market (i.e., the US) and thus the findings can hardly be used to explain what is observed in emerging markets which have significantly different industrial and market backgrounds. Using qualitative interviews from a case study, this paper aims to investigate contracting for innovation practices in a Chinese strategic alliance. Our findings suggest new functions. The aim of the analysis carried out in this text was to identify the level of cooperation in the surveyed companies with the competition in the area of innovative activities as well as their readiness to strengthen it in the near future. Quantitative studies covered 381 companies. To interpret the results of the research, the following statistical measures were used: measures of dispersion – the coefficient of variation and measures of central tendency – dominant, mean, and median. There were no statistically significant differences in the assessments of respondents operating in three different industry sectors. The aim of this article is to define the impact of this kind of cooperation in the context of innovations development. The article uses the method of critical analysis of literature and statistical analysis of data obtained from a survey conducted in 381 Polish companies in Podlaskie Province. As a result of the literature analysis and discussions, the factors influencing cooperation were determined in the context of the implementation of innovations. The purpose of this article is to specify the values of technological factors in the formation of cooperation. The article uses the method of critical analysis of literature and statistical analysis of data obtained from a survey conducted in 381 Polish companies of leading industries in Podlaskie Province. The importance of factors related to the management of technology in relation to the rest of the factors influencing the development of cooperation was analysed. Companies are interested in cooperation to a small degree. In addition, factors associated with the possibility of taking joint technology action are not essential for establishing such cooperation. Longstanding assumptions underlying strategic alliances, such as agency theory, are actively being revoked by dynamics in the new economy. The mechanism of inter-firm cooperation is increasingly being altered by radical developments in blockchains and artificial intelligence among other technologies. To capture and address this shift, this review takes a problematisation approach and focuses wholly on the pertinence of agency theory. First, it begins by acknowledging the established corpus in the area before, second, appraising the seven long-held assumptions in the principal-agent relationship encompassing (1) self-interest, (2) conflicting goals, (3) bounded rationality, (4) information asymmetry, (5) pre-eminence of efficiency, (6) risk aversion and (7) information as a commodity. Third, to add a fresh perspective, the review proceeds to proffer seven assumptions to advance a novel 'Blockchain Agency Theory' that would better describe new attributes and relaxed agency behaviour in blockchain alliances. These counter assumptions are (1) common interests, (2) congruent goals, (3) unbounded rationality, (4) information symmetry, (5) smart contracts, (6) mean risk and (7) information availability. In the fourth part, the prior audience of principals and agents is appraised and this culminates into, fifth, a consideration of a new audience of blockchain agency in algocratic environments. Between external and internal auditors it is necessary to be a good cooperation and coordination; both professionals have to be involved in building a good working relationship. Objectives of the external and internal auditors are different from the company point of view, but in the achievement of the specific goals, there are interactions and work cooperation. If the internal auditors work together with the external auditors the results will be an increasing of the quality and the effectiveness of the organization`s systems and activities. If the external auditors work together with the internal auditors will result a decreasing of the amount of the testing they do, and as consequences' a reducing of the fees. Because there are many benefits of the cooperation between external and internal auditing it is important to find out how could be coordinated these two professional activities. This study has the purpose to examine the most important provisions that promote such kind of cooperation and work like necessary tools for coordination and to identify the Romanian`s internal and external auditors perceptions regarding that cooperation and coordination. In the global economy, the cluster is considered one of the most important models for cooperation of the business environment, which generates a strong impact on the competitiveness of enterprises, accelerates the process of upgrading industry structure, stimulates the development of innovative process and increases the attractiveness of investment in the regions. Clusters are tools to increase companies' performances, with effects on regional development and competitiveness of countries and it is therefore important to consider their potential in various fields. The article discusses the role of initiative and charity in the transitional periods of culture and art in Altai at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Topics covered include the activities of Governor P.K. Frolov and of modern industrialist and patron S.G. Khachaturian (K), and the latter's representation of Indian-Altaian industrial cooperation in the late twentieth century. The article discusses the prospects and aspirations of South Africa as a partner in development cooperation. Th e paper presents 5C (Creation, Cooperation, Context, Creativity and Communication) business case study solving methodology. Th is methodology is applicable to various real life business problems and it focuses on completely practical structure. It has been developed through the learning by doing practice of Industrial Engineering and Management students at the University of Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia, during many national and international student business case study competitions for many years.
