Hydrogels have attracted substantial research interest for application in wearable electronics due to their stretchability, elasticity, and compliance. However, most hydrogels could not satisfy the application requirements for high-performance wearable sensors due to their poor sensitivity, low mechanical properties, and sensing detection range until this day. Inspired by the fascia in biological muscles, we propose a strategy to form entangled “clusters” through the dense entanglement between highly cross-linked elastic hydrogel microspheres and polymer segments, and prepared a multiscale hydrogel with high sensitivity and mechanical toughness. This strategy embedded highly swollen hydrogel microspheres (with different pore sizes) to act as the microregions of dense entanglement in the soft matrix to adjust the microstructure of multiscale gel. When pressure was applied, this structure could provide a fast response due to the stack layer formed by microspheres and soft matrix produced effective stress distribution, resulting in the outstanding sensitivity of the multiscale hydrogel (S= 1.1 kPa–1) in the pressure range of 0–50 kPa. The distinct microspheres functioning as microscale joint areas significantly augment energy dissipation, culminating in exceptional mechanical stability, ultrastretchability (≈1050%), and high strength of the multiscale hydrogel. The most notable progress was that the synthesized multiscale hydrogel not only combined the above advantages but also simultaneously solved multiple dilemmas of tedious synthesis steps, high cost, and poor durability. Besides, the multiscale hydrogel also had excellent antibacterial properties and biocompatibility, which enabled them to have large-scale application potential in wearable and implantable electronic devices. Our research could provide a universal approach to the creation of robust, flexible, wearable, and sensitive sensors, significantly increasing the uses of stress sensors in wearable technology.

Embryo rescue technology plays an important role in seedless grape breeding. However, the efficiency of embryo rescue, including the embryo formation, germination, and seedling rates, is closely related to the parental genotypes, degree of abortion, growth medium, and plant growth regulators. In this study, we investigated the effects of different concentrations of paclobutrazol (PAC), a plant growth regulator, and embryo collection times on the embryo formation, germination, and seedling rates for different hybrid combinations of grape breeding varieties used for their aroma and cold-resistance traits. The results showed that the different PAC concentrations had varying impacts on the development of ovules and embryos from the different grape varieties. The embryo formation rates of the ‘Sultanina Rose’בBeibinghong’ and ‘Kunxiang Seedless’בTaishan-2’ crosses were the highest under the 5.1 μmol L−1PAC treatment. The 1.0 μmol L−1PAC treatment was optimal for the germination and seedling development of the ‘Sultanina Rose’בBeibinghong’ embryos, whereas the 0.2 μmol L−1PAC treatment induced the highest germination rate for the ‘Sultanina Rose’בKunxiang Seedless’ cross. The optimal sampling times for each cross varied as 39 d after pollination (DAP) for the ‘Flame Seedless’בMuscat Hamburg’ cross, 46 DAP for the ‘Kunxiang Seedless’בBeibinghong’ cross, and 41 DAP for the ‘Ruby Seedless’בBeibinghong’ and ‘Fantasy Seedless’בShuangyou’ crosses. Moreover, the medium modified with 0.5 g L−1of indole-3-butyric acid allowed the malformed seedlings to develop into plantlets and achieve larger progenies. This study provides a useful basis for further studies into grape embryo rescue and could improve breeding efforts for new seedless grape varieties.

Organic acid content is one of the most important factors influencing fruit flavors. The predominant organic acid in most pear cultivars is malic acid, but the mechanism controlling its accumulation remains unclear. In this study, by comparing gene expression levels and organic acid contents, we found that the expression of PbPH5, which encodes a P3A-ATPase, is highly correlated with malic acid accumulation in four different pear species, with correlation coefficients of 0.932**, 0.656*, 0.900**, and 0.518* (*, P<0.05; **, P<0.01) for Pyrus bretschneideriRehd., P. communisLinn., P. pyrifoliaNakai., and P. ussuriensisMaxim., respectively. Moreover, the overexpression of PbPH5in pear significantly increased the malic acid content. In contrast, silencing PbPH5 viaRNA interference significantly decreased both its transcript level and the pear fruit malic acid content. A subcellular localization analysis indicated that PbPH5 is located in the tonoplast. Additionally, a phylogenetic analysis indicated that PbPH5is a PH5homolog gene that is clustered with the Petunia hybrida, Malus domestica, and Citrus reticulatagenes. Considered together, these findings suggest that PbPH5is a functionally conserved gene. Furthermore, the accumulation of malic acid in pear fruit is at least partly related to changes in the PbPH5transcription levels.

In view of the current knowledge graph embedding, it mainly focuses on symmetry/opposition, inversion and combination of relationship patterns, and does not fully consider the structure of the knowledge graph. We propose a Knowledge Graph Embedding Based on Semantic Hierarchy (SHKE), which fully considers the information of knowledge graph by fusing the semantic information of the knowledge graph and the hierarchical information. The knowledge graph is mapped to a polar coordinate system, where concentric circles naturally reflect the hierarchy, and entities can be divided into modulus parts and phase parts, and then the modulus part of the polar coordinate system is mapped to the relational vector space through the relational vector, thus the modulus part takes into account the semantic information of the knowledge graph, and the phase part takes into account the hierarchical information. Experiments show that compared with other models, the proposed model improves the knowledge graph link prediction index Hits@10% by about 10% and the accuracy of the triple group classification experiment by about 10%.

A highly pathogenic bacterium, Agrobacterium Fabacearum, causes crown gall in kiwifruit plants leads to serious damage resulting in huge economic losses. In this study, we aimed to screen antagonistic bacterial biocontrol agents against crown gall disease of kiwifruit plants. A total of 225 bacterial strains were isolated from kiwifruit plant rhizosphere soil. Among these, strain JK-F2 exhibited good biocontrol effects in the form of antagonistic activity against A. Fabacearum in vitro. Based on morphological, physiological, and biochemical features and 16S rRNA and gyrAgenes, the strain JK-F2 was identified as Bacillus velezensis. The zone of inhibition of strain JK-F2 was 22.84 ± 0.21 mm when the plate was covered with A. Fabacearum. In pot tests with artificial inoculation of A. Fabacearumto kiwifruit plants, the application of strain JK-F2 ahead of pathogen inoculation significantly reduced the incidence of crown gall by 26.67%, and the control efficiency was 71.96%. In field experiments, the inoculation of strain JK-F2 by root irrigation reduced the average growth rate of galls by 17.95–43.15%. The undiluted strain JK-F2 was more effective than the diluted strain in controlling crown gall by reducing the growth rate of galls, with a biocontrol effect of 68.07%. In this study, strain JK-F2, with good biocontrol application value, was isolated and identified. It is a promising candidate for the biocontrol of crown gall in kiwi plants.

In the use of fire-fighting physics platform for fire alarm data correlation analysis, there are often problems such as too much data volume and insufficient accuracy of the analysis results. For such questions, this paper establishes a full-factor secondary mining mechanism for fire accidents based on the fire big data based on the correlation analysis algorithm and the clustering algorithm. The association algorithm is used to conduct full-factor primary mining on the fire-related factors in the data warehouse, and the common-sense accident attributes in the association rules are extracted. Then use the K-means clustering algorithm, where the cluster center is the relevant attribute in the fire accident record, and perform the second combined clustering of the accident elements to achieve in-depth information mining of all factors of the fire accident. Experimental results show that the improved full-factor deep information mining algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively filter 31.6% of meaningless mining results compared to the traditional single mining algorithm. It shows that the algorithm in this paper can more accurately dig out the relationship between data, and can provide more effective decision support for fire management and other work.

This study investigates the fluorescence quenching mechanism of formaldehyde detection probe Naph1 and its contrast probe Naph3 in water samples and discussed the effect of the electron-donating group and electron-withdrawing group on fluorescence characteristics based on density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT). We optimized the structures of the four probes Naph1, Naph1-S, Naph3, and Naph3-S (Scheme 1) and calculated the absorption and emission spectra, which were in good agreement with the experiment. Frontier molecular orbitals (FMOs) were used to analyze the charge arrangement in the excited state. To investigate the intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) phenomenon, a potential energy curve was constructed. The amount of fragment charge transfer was analyzed by the IFCT method, and then it was determined whether there was an intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) process. It was found that there was an ICT process in Naph3. The electronic effect of the functional groups did not determine the ICT characteristics and the fluorescence characteristics of the substance. Furthermore, the spin–orbit coupling  (SOC) constant based on the intersystem crossing (ISC) was supplemented, which showed that the fluorescence quenching of Naph1 and Naph3 was caused by the ISC and the corresponding quenching of Naph3-S was caused by charge transfer (CT) in the excited state.

In order to overcome the problem that in a mixed-critical system, once the critical level of the system changes, lower-critical tasks may be abandoned in order to ensure the schedulability of higher-critical tasks. A semi-partitioned scheduling algorithm SPBRC, which is based on a homogeneous multi-processor mixed-criticality platform and integrates the advantages and disadvantages of global scheduling and partitioned scheduling is proposed. First-fit and worst-fit bin-packing algorithms are firstly used in this method to sort high and low critical tasks separately, all high critical tasks as fixed task allocation in different processors in turns, and then distribute the lower-critical tasks. When the criticality of processor changes, lower-cirtical tasks will be allowed to migrate to the processor that is paired with the processor and is in low-critical mode, rather than abandoned. Thus, the overall performance of the system is improved. The simulation experiment verifies the effectiveness of this method in reducing the task loss rate and job loss rate.

A novel nonreleasing antibacterial hydrogel dressing with good reusability was prepared by polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate, N,N-methylene-bis-acrylamide, methyl methacrylate, 1-vinyl-3-butylimidazolium, and acrylamide. The ionic liquid of 1-vinyl-3-butylimidazolium was polymerized in the hydrogel to endow the hydrogel dressing with an antibacterial property. The successful synthesis of the hydrogel dressing was proven by FT-IR spectroscopy and energy-dispersive spectrometry. The morphology of the hydrogel was confirmed to be a porous and interconnected network structure by scanning electron microscopy. The resultant hydrogel dressing showed many desirable features, such as a good protein adsorption property and repeatable adhesiveness as well as excellent mechanical properties. Remarkably, the hydrogel dressing displayed broad antibacterial activity against bacteria Staphylococcus aureusand Escherichia coliand fungal Candida albicans. In addition, the hydrogel dressing applied locally on wounded skin of rats could effectively avoid early infection and further accelerate wound healing. The results indicated that the nonreleasing antibacterial hydrogel had potential application in wound dressing.
