Preventing unethical behaviour is a concern across cultures and is important for sustaining integrity and stakeholder trust in governance regimes. Encouraging self-regulation of ethical behaviour and accountability of public sector personnel has attracted multidisciplinary attention. A large body of literature has examined the link between public service motivation (PSM) and public personnel's enactments of various ethics-related behaviours. Scholars disagree, however, about whether PSM is significantly associated with ethics-related outcomes. Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, we conducted a systematic literature review of 59 articles focusing on the PSM-ethics linkage to provide an integrated summary of how PSM affects ethical outcomes. We conclude that the empirical evidence addressing the PSM-ethics linkage is growing, but the mechanisms by which PSM influences ethical behaviour are not yet clear. In this article, we use prosocial organisational behaviour (POB) model to explain how PSM can influence ethical outcomes for public sector employees based upon our systematic literature review. Positive consideration of software engineering codes of ethics by computing educators promotes inclusion in the teaching of software development courses. For computing educators, this is significant because they contribute immensely to the development of software engineering graduates, not only in terms of teaching technical skills but also in ethical development. This study aims to investigate the perceived importance of codes of ethics by lecturers who teach software development courses at a University of Technology in South Africa. The data was collected using an online survey from 103 educators from two computing departments in a South African UoT; 44 responses were received. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics to evaluate the responses; the Pearson Chi-square test was applied to assess the level of association between variables of interest for more conclusive results in addressing the objective of the study. The results of this study indicated that the majority of participants were males; female participants amounted only to 18.2 per cent. Results also reported that most participants agreed with all the statements tested to determine the perceived importance of Software Engineering Codes of Ethics to educators. In addition, an association was presented between the importance of a software engineering code of ethics to an educator and three other variables (the need to teach students about ethical behaviour, an obligation for software engineers to consider the ethical implications of their systems and sex of the respondents) respectively. This study recommended that institutions of higher learning consider finding permanent ways of inculcating a culture of ethical conduct into its staff members, encouraging educators to take up professional memberships with professional bodies. These measures will ensure that software development educators are trained to maintain high standards within their profession, embracing the use and adherence to a code of ethics in the teaching of software development courses. The purpose of this study is to identify individual factors contributing to the perception of ethical behaviour of peers and whether or not the perception of ethical behaviour of peers is changing over time among undergraduate students. Participants were a convenience sample of 457 (n=457) undergraduate students from three geographically different US institutions. Data was collected in 2008 and in 2018. Multiple regression was used to see if there was a relationship between the years the data was collected on ethical behaviour of peers, the dependent variable. Ethical behaviour of self (β = .37, p <.001), regulation of emotions (β = -.10, p <.01), and the year data was collected (β = .14, p <.001) were all found to be significant predictors of ethical behaviour of peers. Other factors not considered in the model, a more diverse sample, self-report methodology, and the interpretation of change in years are all potential limitations to this study. Background: Worldwide, immoral cyberspace users have continued to use the Internet to commit crimes; this has caused unease and has called for quick response to the problem especially within the educational sector. The practical value of this study is in its benefit to other researchers who may be attempting to understand South African or Nigerian cyber technology user's behaviour; it may also help relevant educational authorities to get relevant understanding of behaviour in the realm of cyberspace. Objectives: This study examined undergraduate students in relation to cyber technology at the University of Zululand (UNIZULU), South Africa, and the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Nigeria. Method: A survey design, questionnaire as the tool for data collection was adapted and samples for the study were drawn from undergraduate students in two conveniently selected universities in South Africa and Nigeria. Overall, 450 undergraduate students were invited to participate in the survey; 380 respondents completed and returned the questionnaire, resulting in a response rate of 84.4%. Results: Most of the respondents from the sampled universities reported that they were aware of what constitutes unethical cyber behaviour. Furthermore, the participants revealed that they hardly received orientation at the universities on cyber behaviour. The challenges that the students faces were reported. Conclusion: This study recommends that universities should sustain orientation and/or training programmes on cyber-ethics and cyber security awareness at the start of each academic year. As Campbell (2008) skillfully explains, "the field of ethics in teaching as a moral profession is a robust and compelling one. It captures the interest and imagination of scholars, researchers, and practitioners alike because it is very important and integral to the world of education" (p.21). Similarly, in many EFL countries including Iran, professional ethics has recently turned into a crucial topic. Consequently, further researches regarding the notion of ethics, its components and whether experience plays a role in this regard, need to be carried out. Throughout the current article, the researchers, at first place, illustrated the importance of professional ethics in teaching through a thorough review of literature. Afterwards, a previously localized code of professional ethics, which was transformed into a validated instrument for data collection, was deployed to gather data from 200 EFL male and female university instructors. Pearson Correlation was administered to investigate the probable relation between EFL university instructors' teaching experience and their understanding of professional ethics. Also, to prioritize the components of professional ethics based on EFL instructors' perspective, Friedman test was deployed and the results are disused according to EFL teaching learning context. This study empirically examines millennials' buying behaviour at restaurants undertaking Corporate Social Responsibility activities by testing the effects of willingness to pay on buying behaviour. Using Hayes' serial mediation PROCESS model, the study analyses the direct and indirect effects of millennials' willingness to pay on their buying behaviour at ethical and socially responsible restaurants using data from 212 millennials in North-East Scotland. Results showed that willingness to pay has significant direct and indirect effects on buying behaviour. The mediation effect of environmental concern was not supported. The serial mediation analysis showed that environmental concern, social influence, and personal norms jointly mediated the effects of willingness to pay on buying behaviour. The proposed serial model suggests that only direct measure of willingness to pay on buying behaviour is insufficient for restaurants to respond to millennials' expectations, providing empirical evidence on the need for customer's engagement as businesses emerge from covid-19. • Willingness to pay (WtP) at ethical and socially responsible restaurants has direct effect on buying behaviour. • The mediation effect of environmental concern (EC) is not statistically significant. • The mediation effects of social influence (SI) and personal norm (PN) are significant. • EC, SI, and PN must be jointly mediated the effect of willingness to pay on buying behaviour. • Restaurants must engage with customers when introducing CSR activities. Purpose: This paper examines ethics in financial planning in the context of the events that have occurred in the Australian economic and regulatory environment in the last decade and provides empirical evidence of the ethical behaviour of financial advisers in Australia. Design/ methodology/ approach: A mixed methods research design was employed using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with financial advisers and clients. Client participants were randomly recruited using the Unaddressed Mail Service (UMS) and financial adviser participants were randomly selected from Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holders/representatives. The study used qualitative data mining software (Leximancer) and statistical software (SPSS) to analyse the results. Findings: Clients ranked financial advisers highly on their technical competence but lowest on social/ethical awareness, nonetheless clients generally found their most recent financial adviser to be ethical and possessing the necessary technical competencies. Furthermore, clients rated the ethical values of financial advisers as more important than technical competence and advisers were found to genuinely care for their clients. Both clients and advisers acknowledged that rogue advisers give other more ethical advisers a bad name and that education has an important role to play in this regard. Practical / social implications: Findings support both a code of ethics and ongoing professional development for advisers and suggest an ethics curriculum is desirable. Over the last 25 years, ethical tourism has become an important point of reference for social scientists, business specialists, campaigns and significant numbers of ordinary people. Yet, just a generation ago, prior to the pervasive influence of consumer politics, the consumption of holidays seemed problem free - you really could 'leave your cares behind'. Political and moral interventions in society were posed in a different way and within a different context prior to the growth of consumer politics in the 1980s. The rise of, and dilemmas associated with, ethical tourism tell us more about wider social and political consciousness -- simply how people make sense of their place and their possibilities in the world - than it does about a surfeit of lack of ethical behaviour. This paper focuses on the growth of a discourse of qualities such as 'care', 'awareness' and 'responsibility'. It draws on the idea of the private and public sphere to argue that a language of private virtue is substituted for political analysis in the advocacy of ethical tourism. Given ethical tourism's association with development and well-being, this, in turn, reinforces assumptions that are damaging from the perspective of reinvigorating political possibilities and debate on development. The extent of the data mining and surveillance operations being conducted by US intelligence services revealed by Edward Snowden has taken many by surprise. Yet is there real cause for alarm in what we have learned? The present article considers eavesdropping technologies and governmental surveillance, with a special focus on the US National Security Agency's (NSA) Prism programme, its telephone metadata recording, and similar data mining programmes. The related questions of whether or not we have an obligation to our government, and if so to what extent, and the manner in which probability relates to utility regarding relevant security concerns are also examined. Some of the main objections to surveillance and possible replies to them are considered in light of the programmes highlighted. It is argued that in addition to greater public safety there are some perhaps unexpected benefits for increasing ethical behaviour to 'being watched', and that those benefits are derived from the knowledge of possible surveillance more so than they are from any actually occurring surveillance. Moreover, the operation of programmes like Prism should be judged separately from the uses to which such programmes are put. This research paper empirically investigates the extent to which the quality of governance measured through six dimensions developed by World Bank has a positive influence on the corporate ethics, or in other words, the ethical behaviour of firms in their interaction with public officials, politicians and other companies. By using a dual approach, from geographical and income group classification, this study analyses data from official reports issued by World Bank and World Economic Forum for a final sample of 140 countries, trying to highlight the positive relationship that might exist between governance clusters and ethical behaviour of firms. For the purpose of the paper, a multiple regression analysis was performed. The research results confirm that there are strong positive correlations between most of the governance indicators and companies' ethical behaviour, even if there are some differences between various geographical areas, and also between different income categories economies, in terms of the intensity of this influence. Purpose- The purpose of this paper is to explore the underlying meanings and assumptions of the philosophical and metaphysical aspects of ethical discourse that encaptulates corporate business ethics. Design/methodology/approach- This paper employs a form of the Socratic or dialogue approach to explore and comment on various aspects of ethical behaviour in the corporate sector. The eight dialogues are cataloged as: the business sector; the business ideology; business practices today; the new morality; internal aspects of the business culture; the interrelationship between the business and clients; the interrelationship between the business and the employee; and ethics in business. Post Script-Corporations have a social responsibility that emanates from the legal status they receive as an artificial entity with the same rights as other members of society. These new entities derive their sentient characteristics from those that inhabit the realm of the corporation. This paper addresses a phenomenon that cuts across many disciplines of the formal tradition of learning. Out of numerous multifaceted academic disciplines involved in the argument, psychology, economics and business management stand out, as reflected in the title of the study. The research on the topic is carried out by adopting an inductive approach involving intangible aspects of psychology and tangible parameters of sociology centred around the disciplines of economics and business. The author maintains that the phenomenon of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) represents a challenge of finding the resolution to the paradox of selfish and altruistic human motives. It is argued that quality of that resolution will be determined by the quality of positive laws of sociology and the quality of intrapersonal regulation to help appreciate social responsibility in the presence of opportunities for maximising self-interest. The review of the literature on CSR underpins factors of international political economy responsible for promotion of the phenomenon in North and South during the last century and in the new millennium respectively. The findings lead to the conclusion that rhetoric of CSR in countries like Pakistan merits the analysis of both its motives and fall out within a North-South divide. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article uses concepts from quantum mechanics and chaos/complexity theory to examine the dynamics of organisational attempts to infuse ethical conduct 'all the way through' organisations.
