Abstract

The article focuses on the lax sentencing guidelines of the International Criminal Court. Part II presents the historical background of international entities that have tried criminals in the past or will try them in the future. Part III compares the origins and implementations of sentencing guidelines of these international judicial bodies. Also, Part III analyzes specific cases brought before the entities. Part IV suggests that the court needs to strengthen its sentencing guidelines.
