Abstract

The article discusses the study that examines laccase purification from the Pycnoporus sp. SYBC-L3 liquid culture, and the ability of the novel lac-L for the decolorisation of Remazol Brilliant Blue R (RBBR) and some other dyes. The study found that a five-time increase in specific activity of the purified enzyme after the three-step purification compared to that of crude enzyme with 28 percent of yield. It showed the decolorisation of RBBR at 45 percent by lac-L after one hour reaction time.
