The effect of six processes including M (milling), G (grinding), MMP (milling and manual polishing), GMP (grinding and manual polishing), MCP (milling and CNC polishing), GCP (grinding and CNC polishing) on surface integrity and fatigue life of GH4169 are studied in this paper. The results show that grinding produce a larger degree of hardening compared to milling, and residual stress of grinding surface and milling surface are respectively compressive and tensile. Polishing can significantly reduce the surface roughness formed by the previous process. Surface tensile residual stress of milling is converted into compressive stress after polishing, while the degree of hardening and residual stress of grinding surface has no significant change after polishing. The roughness, residual stress, and hardening degree of the manual polishing and CNC polishing are similar, but there are many micro surface defects in the manual polishing surface. The fatigue life of GCP, MCP, GMP, and MMP gradually decreases. Therefore, the integration process of GCP can produce better surface integrity including surface roughness, hardening degree, and residual stress distribution.

The hot compression behavior and tensile strength after compression of a new Ni–Co-based superalloy produced using electron beam smelting layered (EBSL) solidification technology were investigated. Isothermal compression tests were performed at temperatures of 1120 ℃ and 1150 ℃, with strain rates of 1 s−1and 0.01 s−1, reaching a true strain of 0.51. Tensile strength was evaluated at room temperature. The results revealed that this EBSL technology accelerates dynamic recrystallization (DRX), without compromising the strength of alloy. A significant correlation between the volume fraction of DRX and the strain rate was observed, with higher fractions at lower strain rates, leading to higher tensile strength. Additionally, at the same strain rate, the specimens compressed at 1120 ℃ exhibited higher tensile strength due to undissolved γ′ precipitates. After solution and aging heat treatment, the alloy maintained high tensile strength. The results suggested that the EBSL Ni–Co-based superalloy offers excellent prospects for practical applications.

In this study, high density electric current pulse (ECP) treatment was introduced instead of the conventional solution treatment, and the γ′ phase was completely dissolved under the ECP treatment within only several milliseconds at 1148 °C. Due to the extremely short treatment time and high cooling rate, the growth of γ-phase matrix grain and γ′ phase precipitate was effectively retarded. By comparing with the conventional heat process, the grain size of ECP treated sample was controlled to about 15 μm, the size of the re-precipitated γ′ phase reduced from 65 to 35 nm, and the number density of γ′ precipitate increased from 1.46 × 108to 3.03 × 108/mm2. The Vickers hardness, ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the ECP treated sample were significantly improved. According to the theoretical derivation of kinetics, the ECP treatment introduces an extra electrical free energy which promoted the dissolution of γ′ phase. The ECP treatment may provide a new method for solution treatment of the Ni-based superalloy.

In this work, friction stir processing (FSP) was applied to the high-strength and high-melting-point Ni–Fe-based superalloy (HT700) for the first time with negligible wear of the stir tool. Different rotation rates were chosen to investigate the effect of heat input on microstructure and tensile properties at different temperatures of friction stir processed Ni–Fe-based superalloy. The results showed that with increasing rotation rate, the percentage of high-angle grain boundaries and twin boundaries gradually decreased whereas the grain size initially increased and then remained almost constant; the difference in tensile properties of FSP samples with rotation rates of 500–700 rpm was small attributing to their similar grain size, but the maximum strength was achieved in the FSP sample with a rotation rate of 400 rpm and traverse speed of 50 mm/min due to its finest grain size. More importantly, we found that the yield strength of all FSP samples tensioned at 700 °C was enhanced clearly resulting from the reprecipitation of γ′ phase. In addition, the grain refinement mechanism of HT700 alloy during FSP was proved to be continuous dynamic recrystallization and the specific refinement process was given.

Camrelizumab, a programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) inhibitor, has been approved for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma, nasopharyngeal cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. The aim of this study was to perform a population pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis of camrelizumab to quantify the impact of patient characteristics and to investigate the appropriateness of a flat dose in the dosing regimen. A total of 3092 camrelizumab concentrations from 133 patients in four clinical trials with advanced melanoma, relapsed or refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma and other solid tumor types were analyzed using nonlinear mixed effects modeling. The PKs of camrelizumab were properly described using a two-compartment model with parallel linear and nonlinear clearance. Then, covariate model building was conducted using stepwise forward addition and backward elimination. The results showed that baseline albumin had significant effects on linear clearance, while actual body weight affected intercompartmental clearance. However, their impacts were limited, and no dose adjustments were required. The final model was further evaluated by goodness-of-fit plots, bootstrap procedures, and visual predictive checks and showed satisfactory model performance. Moreover, dosing regimens of 200 mg every 2 weeks and 3 mg/kg every 2 weeks provided similar exposure distributions by model-based Monte Carlo simulation. The population analyses demonstrated that patient characteristics have no clinically meaningful impact on the PKs of camrelizumab and present evidence for no advantage of either the flat dose or weight-based dose regimen for most patients with advanced solid tumors.

Background: The platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) is a novel biomarker to predict the prognosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients. Aim: The study aimed to evaluate the in-hospital outcomes of elderly patients with AMI and assessed the prognostic value of PLR on in-hospital adverse events. Methods: A total of 1,001 patients were divided into an older group (n= 560) and a younger group (n= 441) based on age ≥ 60 years and successfully underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) within 12 h after presentation. Total white blood cells (WBCs), neutrophils, lymphocytes, and platelets counts were measured at admission. Results: The incidence of heart rupture, acute heart failure, total adverse events, and death resulting from all events were significantly higher in patients ≥ 60 years than in younger patients, whereas the incidence of postoperative angina and reinfarction were similar between groups. Regarding blood counts, total white blood cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes, and platelets were lower in the older group than in the younger group. The platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) was significantly higher in the older group. In receiver operating characteristic curve analysis, high PLR > 147 predicted adverse events (specificity 72% and sensitivity 63%). In multiple logistic regression analysis, age, hypertension, and PLR were identified as independent predictors of adverse events. Conclusions: The in-hospital outcomes of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction were poor. PLR was an independent risk factor for in-hospital adverse events, which suggested that strong inflammation and prothrombotic status may contribute to the poor prognoses of elderly patients.

The effect of heat treatment on the microstructures and mechanical properties of a newly developed austenitic heat resistant steel (named as T8 alloy) for ultra-supercritical applications have been studied. Results show that the main phases in the alloy after solution treatment are γand primary MX. Subsequent aging treatment causes the precipitation of M23C6carbides along the grain boundaries and a small number of nanoscale MXinside the grains. In addition, with increasing the aging temperature and time, the morphology of M23C6carbides changes from semi-continuous chain to continuous network. Compared with a commercial HR3C alloy, T8 alloy has comparable tensile strength, but higher stress rupture strength. The dominant cracking mechanism of the alloy during tensile test at room temperature is transgranular, while at high temperature, intergranular cracking becomes the main cracking mode, which may be caused by the precipitation of continuous M23C6carbides along the grain boundaries. Typical intergranular cracking is the dominant cracking mode of the alloy at all stress rupture tests.

All-inorganic cesium lead triiodide (CsPbI3) perovskite makes efficient solar cells, for which the nonlinear induced fracture properties are important for its mechanical stability, but these nonlinear mechanical behaviors under finite deformation remain unclear. Here, we perform reactive molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the mechanical properties of CsPbI3of different phases under finite deformation. Our simulations reveal that Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio exhibit anisotropy in the linear elastic region. The orthorhombic phase exhibits a lower hardness and higher flexibility compared to the tetragonal and cubic phases, resulting in higher susceptibility to stress. The average atomic charge decreases with increasing strain and concentrates at the cracks during fracture progress. We also discover that negative Poisson’s ratio occurs in the xz-direction during finite deformation of tetragonal and orthorhombic phases, which is well explained by the Pb–I–Pb angle perpendicular to the xy-plane. Our findings provide valuable insights into the mechanical behavior and fracture characteristics of CsPbI3perovskite, which have important implications for designing perovskite-based devices for different applications.

It has been demonstrated that an elevated ratio of triglycerides (TG) to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) is a risk factor of coronary artery disease (CAD) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and is also found to be associated with cardiovascular events (CVEs) in the general population. However, its prognostic value in patients with T2DM along with CAD remains to be determined.

The research and development of high temperature superconducting (HTS) films, especially ReBa2Cu3O7−δ(REBCO or RE123; RE=Y, Gd, or other rare earths) yttrium-based coated conductors, has generated widespread interest for the potential applications of the second generation superconducting films. In view of commercialization, however, the maximum superconducting currents for coated conductors should be increased further. Unfortunately, it has been frequently observed that the average critical current density Jcdecreases with an increase in film thickness. The thickness effect is still a hurdle for large-scale production, especially in pulsed laser deposition and metal organic deposition processes. An engineering current of more than 1 000 A/cm is desired owing to the high cost of 2G superconducting materials. The present work attempts to review the evolution of various issues subject to the thickness effect, including the microstructure, epitaxial texture, surface roughness, pinning force, oxygen deficiency, residual stress, copper-rich layers, and segregation of elements. Furthermore, recent progress in enhancing the performance of superconductors especially in terms of critical current density is illustrated, such as the use of heavy doping. Further understanding of the thickness effect is extremely important for large-scale commercial development of the second generation high temperature superconductors.

Radial drilling, also called ultra-short horizontal well, is a new kind stimulation technology, which can be used both in new and old wells to improve the productivity and oil recovery effectively. For the low permeability reservoirs, it had been widely used in practice to effectively solve the unbalanced displacement problems for the waterflooded reservoirs. Applying the multi-layer equilibrium displacement principle, the model of optimizing the radial drilling branch number and length for the high water cut low permeability reservoirs is established, and the corresponding programs are also compiled. Using the reservoir numerical simulation technology, this model is proved to be valid and accurate. This optimization method has been applied in Bonan fifth reservoir of Shengli oilfield, which exhibits quite positive results: higher average production rate and lower average water cut of the radial drilled wells.

Some existing wrought Ni–Cr–Co-based superalloys are being evaluated as the candidate materials for advanced ultra-supercritical power plant applications beyond 700 °C due to their high creep strength. But they are all prohibitively expensive due to the addition of Co, Mo and W. Here we developed a new Ni–Fe–Cr-based superalloy (named as HT700 alloy) with low cost and high strength. This paper reports the mechanical properties and fracture modes of HT700 alloy to support its high temperature applications and to understand prospective failure mechanism. Fractographic examinations indicate that the fracture modes shift with test condition change. In addition, the HT700 alloy has relatively stable microstructure at 750 °C. Compared with IN740 and GH2984 alloys, this new alloy has higher yield strength in the temperature range from room temperature to 800 °C. The creep life of this new alloy is much longer than that of the Ni–Fe-based superalloy GH2984. The results suggest that this new alloy is a promising material for advanced ultra-supercritical power plant applications beyond 700 °C.

The mineral processing flow sheet and reagent system of flotation copper minerals from alarge copper sulfide deposit in Yunnan were fully investigated. The results indicated that the optimum conditions for flotation of copper minerals from the material were identified as follows: grinding fineness of 80%(-0.074mm), dosage of CaO 800g/t, butyl xanthate 100g/t.Under such condition, a copper recovery of 90.57% with a concentrate grade of 19.52% was achieved from the material using a closed circuit flow sheet of one-stage roughing flotation, two-stage cleaning flotation and two-stage scavenging flotation.

This paper discusses the progress of lead-zinc mineral processing technology and flotation reagents of China, and proposes that optimize technological process and develop new reagents are the main directions.

Copper ore is the main mineral for the large deposits. Copper minerals are mostly consisting of chalcopyrite, secondly consisting of bornite, there are traces of processing copper blue and malachite, the mineral is disseminated by coarse granularity. This mineral is easy to processing. Production process was using by the process of grinding-flotation. After grinding fineness, lime dosage, sodium sulfide dosage, collector and frother dosage, were determined by the open test. Closed circuit experiment was conducted by those optimal conditions identified in the above test, the recovery of copper concentrate is 88.38% and the grade of copper concentrate is 14.37%.

In order to provide essential information for enterprises to exploit the iron ore of Yunnan province in China, properties of the ore were analyzed. Experiments of the best grinding fineness analysis and magnetic separation current were conducted. The result show that the ore is martite; when the grinding fineness content below 74um is 95%, and magnetic separation current is 10A (0.8T), iron concentrate with a grade of 65.40% and a recovery of 90.49% can be obtained. Sulfur and phosphorus content in the iron concentrate is 0.057% and 0.011%, respectively.

Three new cyclohexadepsipeptides of the isaridin class including isaridin G (1), desmethylisaridin G (2), and desmethylisaridin C1 (3), along with three related known metabolites (4–6), were isolated and identified from the marine bryozoan-derived fungus Beauveria felinaEN-135. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis, and the structures and absolute configurations of compounds 1–3were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal structures showed the presence of β-turns for the Tyr3/N-Me-Val4and Phe3/N-Me-Val4amide bonds in compounds 2and 3, respectively, in the cisconformations, which were opposite other reported isaridins. The conformations of the HMPA1-Pro2amide bond in compound 2are different in the solution and in the crystal structures, which showed transand cisgeometries, respectively, while compounds 1and 3do not exhibit this phenomenon. Each of the isolated compounds was evaluated for antimicrobial activity and brine shrimp lethality. Compound 3exhibited antibacterial activity against E. coliwith an MIC value of 8 μg/mL.

The transmission laser-scanning diameter-measurement system uses the parallel laser-scanning principle to achieve high-precision measurements of radial dimensions of shaft parts. The transmission laser-scanning emitter is a mechanical scanning device of which scanning accuracy has a significant impact on stability of the measurement system. The dynamic model of the emitter's shaft rotor is established. Dynamic performances according to variant parameters are derived by finite element analysis simulation. Characteristics of high-speed-rotors with different structures, such as vibration mode and natural frequency, are summarized to provide theoretical basis for shafting design.

Notch effect on the fracture behavior of the Ni3Al foils has been investigated as a function of notch radius and depth. Tensile tests along the rolling direction showed that notch weakening occurred with introduce of notch. The effective stress concentration factor (ke) was much lower than the theoretical stress concentration factor (Kt), which was due to the local plastic deformation at the notch root. Cracks initiated along the shear band in the RD tension.

Pressure arch is a phenomenon of rock mass stress restructuring to display itself bearing capacity, one of the important aspects is determination of the pressure arch boundary, and now the main method to determine the pressure arch boundary is numerical analysis. In order to determine the pressure arch boundary theoretically, a circular tunnel is taken as analyzing model, and the secondary stress condition around the rock mass is analyzed, also the equations of horizontal stress and vertical stress are deduced, and then the variation regulation of horizontal stress and vertical stress are discussed. On this basis, 3 kinds of pressure arch boundary determination methods are researched, and the boundaries of each method are found out, finally, the differences of the methods are compared. The results show that every determination method of pressure arch boundary has its own rationality, and they can provide reference for engineering and new arch boundary determination method.

The CCT (Continuous Cooling Transformation) curve of hot deformation austenite in 55SiCr steel was measured on Gleeble-1500 thermal simulation machine, the microstructure and hardness of transformation products under different cooling velocities were observed. The microstructure transformation regularity with being cooled continuously were emphatically researched at the cooling rate form 0.1℃/s to 15 ℃/s. The results can provide a instruction for producing 55SiCr steel.

In the tourist advanced areas like Taian City, Shandong Province, the construction of tourist soft power is closed linked with the local economic development. Whether the economy of the above areas can develop quickly depends greatly on whether the local government leaders have paid enough attention to the construction of the tourist soft power. In this article, combined with the reality of Taian City, the authors put forward our personal viewpoints on strengthening the construction of Taian’s tourist soft power in order to promote its economic development from 4 different ways.

Bioassay-guided fractionation of the culture extract of Aspergillus wentiiEN-48, an endophytic fungus isolated from an unidentified marine brown algal species of the genus Sargassum, led to the isolation of three new tetranorlabdane diterpenoids, asperolides A–C (1–3), and five related derivatives (4–8). The structures of these compounds were established on the basis of spectroscopic interpretation, and compound 1was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The absolute configuration of 1was determined by application of the modified Mosher’s method. An X-ray structure for wentilactone B (6) is also reported. Compounds 1–8were evaluated for cytotoxic and antibacterial activities.

Effects of Ce addition on the microstructures and mechanical properties of the Ni-Co-based superalloy were investigated. The results showed that addition of Ce to the alloys resulted in a Ce-rich phase (Ni,Co)3Ce formation. The rupture life was improved greatly by Ce addition and the optimal Ce addition was about 0.2 wt.%. Both peak stress and critical stress of dynamic recrystallization were increased with increasing (Ni,Co)3Ce phases, which was mainly due to pinning effect on grain boundary sliding by precipitation.

A novel triazole carboxylic acid, penipanoid A (1), two new quinazolinone alkaloids, penipanoids B (2) and C (3), and a very recently reported quinazolinone derivative (4) were isolated from the marine sediment-derived fungus Penicillium paneumSD-44. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis, and the structure for 1was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis. Compound 1represents the first example of a triazole derivative from marine sediment-derived fungi, and compound 2is a rare quinazolinone derivative having a dihydroimidazole ring system. The cytotoxicity of compounds 1and 4and the antimicrobial activity of 1–4were evaluated.

Chemical investigation of Penicillium communeQSD-17, a fungus isolated from a marine sediment sample collected in the southern China Sea, yielded six new azaphilone derivatives, namely, comazaphilones A−F (1−6). The structures of these compounds were established on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Attempts to define the absolute configuration of these azaphilones through investigation of Mosher’s esters failed, possibly due to steric crowding at C-6 and C-7 and due to the degradation of these azaphilone derivatives under the reaction conditions. The inhibitory activities of the six azaphilones against four bacteria, one pathogenic fungus, and seven tumor cell lines were evaluated. Compounds 3−5displayed potent inhibitory activity against several of these bacteria, while compounds 4−6showed cytotoxic activity against human pancreatic tumor cell line SW1990. The preliminary SAR results indicated that the double bond at C-10 and the location of the orsellinic acid unit at C-6 in these azaphilones are important for the antibacterial activity and cytotoxicity, respectively. This is the first report of the isolation of azaphilone derivatives from a marine sediment-derived fungus.

7-Nor-ergosterolide (1), a rare 7-norsteroid with an unusual pentalactone B-ring system, and two new steroid derivatives, 3β,11α-dihydroxyergosta-8,24(28)-dien-7-one (2) and 3β-hydroxyergosta-8,24(28)-dien-7-one (3), were characterized from the culture extract of Aspergillus ochraceusEN-31, an endophytic fungus isolated from the marine brown alga Sargassum kjellmanianum. In addition, nine known related steroids were isolated and identified. The structures of these compounds were established on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis. The absolute configuration of the new steroids (1−3) was determined by application of the modified Mosher’s method. Compound 1, which represents the first example of a 7-nor-ergosteroid possessing a pentalactone B-ring system in a naturally occurring steroid, displayed cytotoxicity against NCI-H460, SMMC-7721, and SW1990 cell lines with IC50values of 5.0, 7.0, and 28.0 μg/mL, respectively. Compound 2also displayed cytotoxicity against the SMMC-7721 cell line with an IC50value of 28.0 μg/mL.

To achieve the accurate duplication of product in reverse engineering, We proposed an algorithm for the optimization of NC tool-path based on scanning points, which can be realized through the following two steps. At first, we approximated NC tool-path by many tool-path segments according to the optimized accuracy. Then we adjusted the nodes of approximation tool-path so that it can match smoothing requirements. It has been proved by examples that the optimization algorithm can realize the optimization of NC tool-path for scanning points effectively and improve the efficiency of product processing significantly.

Cytoglobosins A−G (1−7), seven new cytochalasan derivatives, along with two structurally related known compounds, isochaetoglobosin D (8) and chaetoglobosin Fex(9), were isolated and identified from the cultures of Chaetomium globosumQEN-14, an endophytic fungus derived from the marine green alga Ulva pertusa. The structures of the new natural products as well as their relative configurations were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR spectra (COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY) and HRESIMS data. Cytoglobosins C and D (3and 4) displayed cytotoxic activity against the A-549 tumor cell line.

Abstract: Objective: To investigate fotemustine plus dacarbazine (DTIC) with dendritic cell (DC) vaccines on patients with advanced acral lentiginous melanoma (ALM). Fotemustine is a cytotoxic alkylating agent with a remarkable antitumor activity as single agent but also in association with (DTIC). DC is the strongest antigen presenting cell which could induce durable clinical responses. Methods: This was a single-center study. Between July 2003 and June 2006, twenty-eight chemotherapy-naive patients of advanced ALM received fotemustine 100 mg/m2, d1, 12, DTIC 400 mg/d d2–6, DC vaccines subcutaneously d7, 9, 13 repeated every 28 days. Ten HLA-A02+24+ patients received vaccines pulsed with melanoma antigen derived peptides, melanoma antigen recognized by T-cells 1 (Mart-1) and S-100. Eighteen patients received DC loaded with allogeneic melanoma lysate. The primary end-point was progression free survival (PFS). Secondary end-points were overall survival (OS), overall response rate (ORR) and toxicity. Tumor assessment was performed every 8 weeks and evaluated according to response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (RECIST). Results: The 15 men and 13 women had a median age of 51 years. 16 patients had stage M1c disease and 11/16 had liver metastasis. Patients received an average of 3.82±1.25 cycles. Follow-up for the 18 surviving patients ranged from 7–41 months with a median of 12 months. Median PFS was 8.5 months (95% CI: 7.86–15.21) with 12 patients remaining progression free. Only 10 patients died. Median OS was 12 months (95% CI: 10.33–18.24). ORR (CR+PR) was 35.7% including 3 complete response (CR) and 7 partial response (PR). Six patients had disease stable. A total of 19 Grade III/IV toxicities were observed including thrombocytopenia (n=8), neutropenia (n=5), fatigue (n=6) and hypersensitivity reaction (n=1). One patient died of Grade IV thrombocytopenia. Conclusion: Fotemustine and dacarbazine plus DC vaccines are safe and tolerable to Chinese ALM patients. The regimen brings clinical benefit with a higher ORR and may provide a survival advantage. Updated survival data will be presented.

Adenosine and calcium channel blockers have been used in the treatment of angiographic no-reflow directly after angioplasty for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). However, their effects on tissue perfusion after AMI and reperfusion are undefined. The present study was designed to compare the effect of adenosine with that of the calcium channel blockers diltiazem and verapamil on myocardial no-reflow.Coronary ligation area and area of no-reflow were determined with both myocardial contrast echocardiography in vivo and histopathological evaluation in 44 Yorkshire mini-swines randomized into five study groups: ten in control, eight in adenosine-treated, nine in diltiazem-treated, nine in verapamil-treated and eight in sham-operated. An acute myocardial infarction and reperfusion model was created with 3-h occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery followed by 1-h reperfusion.Compared with the control group, adenosine significantly decreased the area of no-reflow measured with both methods from 78.5 and 82.3% to 20.7 and 21.5% of ligation area, respectively (both P< 0.01), reduced necrosis area, maintained VE-cadherin, β-catenin and γ-catenin levels in reflow myocardium (P< 0.05–0.01). Although diltiazem and verapamil also significantly decreased the area of no-reflow, they failed to significantly modify necrosis area, VE-cadherin, β-catenin and γ-catenin levels.These findings support the concept that adenosine can reduce both structural and functional no-reflow, while calcium channel blockade can only reduce functional no-reflow.

Differential scanning calorimetry results of the degradation of poly[acrylonitrile-co-(N-vinylpyrrolidone)] in air are presented. The apparent activation energy of degradation was calculated using Kissinger's method. The effect of copolymerization conditions on the apparent activation energy was studied. Increasing the dimethylformamide concentration in the solvent mixture led to a rapid increase in the degradation apparent activation energy. The apparent activation energy decreased rapidly with increase in the comononer N-vinylpyrrolidone concentration, and this change becomes less prominent as the weight ratio of N-vinylpyrrolidone/acrylonitrile rises above 5/95. To study the function of in vivochymase on heart remodeling by overexpression of human chymase in the heart of transgenic mice.

The marine sediment-derived fungus Penicillium communeQSD-17 was re-investigated and cultured on rice solid medium. Two new compounds, isophomenone (1) and 3-deacetylcitreohybridonol (2), together with seven known derivatives (3–9), were identified. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis.

One new sesquiterpenoid, aristolan-1a-bromo-9ß ,10ß -epoxide (1), and one new indole alkaloid, 2,5-dibromo-N-methylindole (2), along with six sesquiterpenes and indoles were identified from the marine red alga Laurencia similis. Their structures were established on the basis of spectroscopic methods

A new rearranged chamigrane sesquiterpene, named laurenokamurin, was isolated from the marine red alga Laurencia okamurai. Its structure was determined on the basis of spectroscopic methods.

Two new brominated diterpenes, namely, laurendecumtriol and 11-deacetylpinnaterpene C, were isolated and identified from the marine red alga Laurencia decumbens. Their structures were established on the basis of various NMR spectroscopic techniques and HR–ESI–MS analyses.

The hydrothermal reaction of H₂tp (tp= terephthalate), [Ph₃PCH₂Ph]Cl and water with Cd(O₂CCH₃)₂·2H₂O gives rise to a novel ribbon-candy-like supramolecular architecture with twofold interpenetration of an unprecedented 3D 8210-a net formed by polymer {[Ph₃PCH₂Ph][Cd(tp)·Cl]·2H₂O}_n containing giant rhombic channels, which displays strong fluorescent emission in the solid state.

A hydrothermally synthesized mixed-ligand molecular solid composed of pillared bilayers has been formulated; it presents a new remarkable three-dimensional architecture sustained by the catenation of two-fold decked layers, and exhibits intense photoluminescence upon photoexcitation at 314 nm.
