A fully integrated 3.1 to 10.6 GHz CMOS direct conversion mixer for UWB system is proposed in this paper. The proposed mixer utilizes current-reuse bleeding circuit to reduce noise figure. In order to adjust the conversion gain, linearity, and noise figure easily, an inductor is connected between the drains of NMOS transconductors. The simulated conversion gain and double-side band noise figure are 11.5±1.5 dB and 20dB, respectively. The chip is designed in 0.18µm TSMC CMOS technology with 1.2 x 1.2 mm². [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
