An abstract of the article "The acceptability of a small intrauterine progestogen-releasing system for continuous combined hormone therapy in early postmenopausal women," by D. Sturdee, M. L. Rantala, J. C. Colau, Hp Zahradnik, and F. E. Riphagen is presented. It explains the reason why hormone therapy increases the risk of breast cancer. The objective of the study is to assess the acceptability of intrauterine progesterone releasing system for postmenopausal women.
