Abstract

The article presents study on impact of resting period on MC3T3-E1 cells of mouse on fluid sheer stress through F-actin-regulated mechanosensitive channels. In vitro study was carried out on the role of F-actin regulated mechanosensitive channel re-activation in mechanosensitivity modulation. The result showed that steady fluid shear stress (sFSS) stimulation had more potential in increasing alkalinephosphatase (ALP) activity with 30-min rest period as compared to 10 and 0-min rest period.
