- Abstract
The article discusses the reasons for the rapid increase in the sea level in the Arctic Ocean. The melting of sea ice contributes to the increasing level of fresh water in the surface layer of the ocean. The degree of loss of summer sea ice, which caused the heating of the ocean, leads to the increase in surface air temperatures in the fall season taking place in October through December in the Arctic Ocean.
