Abstract Website evaluation has gained considerable attention from academic researchers since the emergence of hotel websites in the late 1990 s. Previous studies have developed and adopted various methodologies and approaches for website evaluation. However, studies tracking changes in hotel website evaluation along with their rapid development have been scant. This study traces the chronological changes in website evaluation models and provides future research directions. The main findings indicate that information quality has been the main focus although different terms or expressions have been used to represent the concept. In addition, many diverse website evaluation models have been advocated in the past decade. Findings of this study can provide practical implications for hotel managers to ensure online hotel information quality and achieve high-level information communication. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Bei der gesetzlichen Pflichtablieferung von Netzpublikationen kooperiert die Badische Landesbibliothek mit der Württembergischen Landesbibliothek, dem Bibliotheksservice-Zentrum Baden-Württemberg und der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek. Entstanden sind dabei fünf innovative Dienste zur Archivierung von Amtsdruckschriften, E-Books, E-Journals, E-Papers und Websites. Diese ermöglichen es, wesentliche Teile des textbasierten digitalen Kulturerbes aus Baden zu sichern – wir berichten hier über den aktuellen Stand unserer Sammlung. The legal deposit of online publications is handled through a cooperation by the Baden State Library, the State Library of Württemberg, the Library Service Centre Baden-Württemberg and the German National Library. The joint project has developed five innovative services for archiving government documents, e-books, electronic journals and papers, as well as websites. These services facilitate the protection of substantial parts of our text-based, digital cultural heritage in Baden. We present a short report on the collection and progress to date. Involuntary celibates, or incels, are part of a misogynistic, extremist subculture that has been linked to acts of mass violence. Unlike other alt-right communities, the incel subculture exists entirely online, and participants rarely, if ever, interact in face-to-face settings. Using an original dataset of 76 discussion threads drawn from two self-identified incel Web sites, this paper investigates how participants on incel discussion boards engage in bonding activities that foster a sense of commitment to the online incel community. We build on sociological understandings of narrative and storytelling to identify and describe three interactive storytelling practices that are facilitated by the affordances of these digital spaces: repetition, co-creation, and elaboration. These practices enable incel participants to share similar experiences, apply elements of the incel ideology to interpret off-line events, and elaborate boundaries between incels and those that they perceive as "normies". Our study reveals how online bonding activities generate robust collective identities in the incel subculture. It also highlights crucial differences between online and face-to-face storytelling practices in alt-right communities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Customer reviews on e-commerce platforms significantly impact the acceptance of products offered by companies. In this paper we propose a software system based on fuzzy logic for estimating the level of perception of users of ecommerce portals regarding a product or service. The constructed system receives as its first input the level of perception of opinion, determined through sentiment analysis, while the second input is the star rating provided by each user for the product or service. For the development of the proposed fuzzy system, the RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodology was used. A significant study of the amblypygid fauna of Honduras is lacking. Historically, species were misidentified and data on distribution, natural history and conservation status of the known species are lacking or insufficient. In this contribution, an overview on the amblypygids of Honduras, including taxonomy, distribution, natural history and comments on their conservation are provided. In a review of the literature of the Honduran amblypygids, we examined 21 works, including books, unpublished thesis, articles, the World Amblypygi Catalogue (2023), as well as the website Arácnidos de Centroamérica and the citizen-science websites Alamy, iNaturalist and Flicks. Only the family Phrynidae, with the genera Paraphrynus Moreno, 1940 and Phrynus Lamarck, 1801, is known to occur in Honduras. A total of seven species have been recorded, but only four [Paraphrynus laevifrons (Pocock, 1894), Phrynus palenque Armas, 1996, Ph. similis Armas, Víquez & Trujillo, 2017 and Ph. whitei Gervais, 1842] have been positively identified. No endemic species are known, but available data suggest that some undescribed new species may be restricted to Honduras. In order to understand the amblypygids of Honduras, sampling within the country must be conducted and revisionary studies will be needed. This paper examines our current knowledge of the fauna. User-centred systems need to incorporate solutions to make them easier to use. Based on a domain ontology, our system has an extensive knowledge base that is populated by a semantic web platform that we have built. This knowledge base needs to be queried on demand by users due to the limitations of the search engine integrated into the semantic web platform. However, this task is not trivial for a human being due to the complexity of the schemas making up the knowledge base and the inability to perform SPARQL queries to obtain answers. In this paper, we propose an approach based on skills questions that we have defined with domain experts and that have helped validate our domain ontology. This approach allows users to ask their questions in natural language to obtain an answer. To achieve our goal, we used natural language processing tools, in particular Spacy's pre-trained French pipeline. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies have significantly progressed in recent years, revolutionizing a diverse set of industries, mainly the industrial metaverse in cultural heritage and the cultural and creative sectors. In the context of social manufacturing, there's a pronounced need for platforms that foster collaboration. This paper introduces a collaborative AR/VR platform for social manufacturing, emphasizing the need for a co-creation environment. This platform supports real-time customized fabrication of 3D objects through rapid manufacturing within an AR/VR-based collaborative framework, further enhancing shared awareness in social manufacturing endeavors. The platform provides a robust toolkit for AR/VR applications that enables real-time interaction with virtual entities and seamless integration with the backend databases of online marketplaces. Designed to be universally adaptable, the toolkit is indifferent to the type of database it interacts with, and can function on a wide range of platforms including Web VR, Mobile AR, and HoloLens AR. A use case involving a reference chair model demonstrates the toolkit's capabilities, highlighting its potential to transform experiences within AR/VR landscapes. By offering a seamless fusion of digital content within physical environments, this AR/VR toolkit signifies a considerable advancement towards the intersection of digital and physical realities, paving the way of immersive experiences. This paper presents the first systematic investigation into the search engine optimization practices of major contract cheating websites in the United States. From a business perspective, visibility in organic search engine results is considered one of the top client recruitment tools. The current understanding of student recruitment strategies by these companies remains largely unexplored in both academic literature and popular press. Replicating the business research practices used in the search engine optimization industry, comprehensive search engine ranking and traffic data was obtained for the 38 largest contract cheating websites in the US. The overall objective was to illuminate the strategies that these companies take to get their services at the top of the search results of as many students as possible – not just the relatively small proportion of students actively cheating. The results show that these companies dominate the search results for not just students searching to cheat, but also for naïve search efforts, when students are simply doing genuine research or classwork. These nefarious companies use highly sophisticated search engine manipulation strategies to bait naïve student searchers onto their sites, thus enabling the potential to switch them to cheaters. Higher education institutions, armed with the specific details provided in this study, can use the strategies outlined in the discussion to directly and negatively impact on the success of these contract cheating services. In the data retrieval process of the Data recommendation system, the matching prediction and similarity identification take place a major role in the ontology. In that, there are several methods to improve the retrieving process with improved accuracy and to reduce the searching time. Since, in the data recommendation system, this type of data searching becomes complex to search for the best matching for given query data and fails in the accuracy of the query recommendation process. To improve the performance of data validation, this paper proposed a novel model of data similarity estimation and clustering method to retrieve the relevant data with the best matching in the big data processing. In this paper advanced model of the Logarithmic Directionality Texture Pattern (LDTP) method with a Metaheuristic Pattern Searching (MPS) system was used to estimate the similarity between the query data in the entire database. The overall work was implemented for the application of the data recommendation process. These are all indexed and grouped as a cluster to form a paged format of database structure which can reduce the computation time while at the searching period. Also, with the help of a neural network, the relevancies of feature attributes in the database are predicted, and the matching index was sorted to provide the recommended data for given query data. This was achieved by using the Distributional Recurrent Neural Network (DRNN). This is an enhanced model of Neural Network technology to find the relevancy based on the correlation factor of the feature set. The training process of the DRNN classifier was carried out by estimating the correlation factor of the attributes of the dataset. These are formed as clusters and paged with proper indexing based on the MPS parameter of similarity metric. The overall performance of the proposed work can be evaluated by varying the size of the training database by 60%, 70%, and 80%. The parameters that are considered for performance analysis are Precision, Recall, F1-score and the accuracy of data retrieval, the query recommendation output, and comparison with other state-of-art methods. Background: There is growing interest in the use of information communication technologies to treat obesity. An intervention delivered by smartphone could be a convenient, potentially cost-effective, and wide-reaching weight management strategy. Although there have been studies of texting-based interventions and smartphone applications (apps) used as adjuncts to other treatments, there are currently no randomized controlled trials (RCT) of a stand-alone smartphone application for weight loss that focuses primarily on self-monitoring of diet and physical activity. Objective: The aim of this pilot study was to collect acceptability and feasibility outcomes of a self-monitoring weight management intervention delivered by a smartphone app, compared to a website and paper diary. Methods: A sample of 128 overweight volunteers were randomized to receive a weight management intervention delivered by smartphone app, website, or paper diary. The smartphone app intervention, My Meal Mate (MMM), was developed by the research team using an evidence-based behavioral approach. The app incorporates goal setting, self-monitoring of diet and activity, and feedback via weekly text message. The website group used an existing commercially available slimming website from a company called Weight Loss Resources who also provided the paper diaries. The comparator groups delivered a similar self-monitoring intervention to the app, but by different modes of delivery. Participants were recruited by email, intranet, newsletters, and posters from large local employers. Trial duration was 6 months. The intervention and comparator groups were self-directed with no ongoing human input from the research team. The only face-to-face components were at baseline enrollment and brief follow-up sessions at 6 weeks and 6 months to take anthropometric measures and administer questionnaires. Results: Trial retention was 40/43 (93%) in the smartphone group, 19/42 (55%) in the website group, and 20/43 (53%) in the diary group at 6 months. Adherence was statistically significantly higher in the smartphone group with a mean of 92 days (SD 67) of dietary recording compared with 35 days (SD 44) in the website group and 29 days (SD 39) in the diary group (P<.001). Self-monitoring declined over time in all groups. In an intention-to-treat analysis using baseline observation carried forward for missing data, mean weight change at 6 months was -4.6 kg (95% CI -6.2 to -3.0) in the smartphone app group, -2.9 kg (95% CI -4.7 to -1.1) in the diary group, and -1.3 kg (95% CI -2.7 to 0.1) in the website group. BMI change at 6 months was -1.6 kg/m2 (95% CI -2.2 to -1.1) in the smartphone group, -1.0 kg/m2 (95% CI -1.6 to -0.4) in the diary group, and -0.5 kg/m2 (95% CI -0.9 to 0.0) in the website group. Change in body fat was -1.3% (95% CI -1.7 to -0.8) in the smartphone group, -0.9% (95% CI -1.5 to -0.4) in the diary group, and -0.5% (95% CI -0.9 to 0.0) in the website group. Conclusions: The MMM app is an acceptable and feasible weight loss intervention and a full RCT of this approach is warranted. The large branches of Machine Learning represent an immense support for the detection of malicious websites, they can predict whether a URL is malicious or benign, leaving aside the cyber attacks that can generate for network users who are unaware of them. The objective of the research was to know the state of the art about Neural Networks and their impact for the Detection of malicious Websites in network users. For this purpose, a systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted from 2017 to 2021. The search identified 561 963 papers from different sources such as Taylor & Francis Online, IEEE Xplore, ARDI, ScienceDirect, Wiley Online Library, ACM Digital Library and Microsoft Academic. Of the papers only 82 were considered based on exclusion criteria formulated by the author. As a result of the SLR, studies focused on machine learning (ML), where it recommends the use of algorithms to have a better and efficient prediction of malicious websites. For the researchers, this review presents a mapping of the findings on the most used machine learning techniques for malicious website detection, which are essential for a study because they increase the accuracy of an algorithm.
