Abstract
The article offers insight to a study which uses community based social, cultural, religious, and administrative structures in rural Ethiopia for evaluating community defined roles for maternal and child health communication. Topics include efforts to improve primary health care services; developing health communication modules; and community perceptions about maternal and child health care.
