Objective: Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up is the Professional Pharmaceutical Care Service aimed at detecting Drug-Related Problems for the prevention and resolution of negative medicine outcomes. The Dader Method is considered a clear and simple tool to develop Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up. This research aims to analyze the evolution of the international scientific production related to Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up and the Dader Method to show the current situation of this Professional Pharmacy Assistance Service. In addition, from the data obtained, we give a critical perspective on the implementation of the Dader Method in Community Pharmacy, considering its advantages and disadvantages based on the published scientific literature. Methods: Using bibliometrics tools, indicators were obtained to analyze the international production of scientific articles on Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up and the Dader Method during the period (1999-2022) through the Scopus database. Results: The results showed a growth in the international scientific production of publications on Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up, obtaining 30,287 papers, placing the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Spain as the five most productive countries. The publication of 83 papers on the Dader Method places Spain with the highest number of publications, followed by other Spanish or Portuguese speaking countries, among which Brazil and Colombia have the most prominent number of published papers in Latin America. The most frequent international journal covering the topic of Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up was the American Journal of Health-Pharmacy (12.4%), while on the Dader Method, the journal Pharmaceutical Care Spain (21.7%) is in the first position, followed by Farmacia Hospitalaria (8.4%). Conclusion: The publications on the Dader method highlighs the greater productivity of the University of Granada and the author María José Faus Dáder. The inclusion of patients in the PTF service using the Dader Method, is more frequent in the hospital context, and is based on the presence of defined chronic pathologies (mainly diabetes), polymedication or specialized care follow-up, with elderly population being the most represented in all cases. There is no doubt that families affected by dementia have faced many new challenges as a result of Covid-19. The suspension and closure of support services, enforced lockdown and changes to important daily routines have influenced the way in which families affected by dementia have gained support. Health and social care services have recognised the need to adapt by incorporating telehealth as a substitute to existing care models; however, some have faced challenges in providing such care to this patient population. This paper explores the use of telephone helplines as a means of support for families affected by dementia during Covid-19, commenting on the advantages and disadvantages and reflecting on the experience of a dementia specialist helpline nurse. The British Society for Disability and Oral Health (BSDH) organised a one-day conference at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. The programme was entitled 'Bariatric dentistry: managing the plus size patient in special care dentistry'. This paper is a distillation of that conference and discusses obesity as a public health priority. Brexit poses seismic challenges for health and social care provision in the United Kingdom concerning the ongoing financial support available to fund health and social care within a post-Brexit economy. Alongside funding issues, there are potential concerns linked to the continued access to medical supplies and equipment which are linked to trading relationships within the European Union (EU). Changes to the context of legal frameworks and funding for research which result from Brexit are also serious concerns. Although many of these areas may have potential detrimental impacts on patient care, there is a particular concern about the loss of migrant health and social care workers, which may exacerbate the recruitment issues currently facing the UK health and social care workforce. Reflections from those who work within health and social care, such as the authors of this paper, can create insider perspectives about what Brexit means to individuals and their families. This can help organisations consider the challenges that their current EU migrant workers experience and explore ways of mitigating these impacts on both the individual and wider organisation to ensure patient care is not diluted, but instead enhanced. Decision-makers in UK health and social care are routinely asked to draw on evidence of 'what works' when designing services and changing practice. However, this paper argues that too much focus to date has been placed on a narrow definition of what constitutes valid 'evidence' (and one that privileges particular approaches and voices over others) and a simplistic conception of the decision-making function. As a result, policy and practice have too often been dominated by medical and quantitative ways of knowing the world, with such research approaches assumed to be more valid than other forms of enquiry. In contrast, the paper calls for a more inclusive notion of 'knowledge-based practice', which draws on different types of research, the tacit knowledge of frontline practitioners and the lived experience of people using services. This, the paper argues, will lead to a more nuanced approach to 'the evidence' and -- ultimately -- to better and more integrated decisions. In this paper I explore how my values based practice has helped me develop my authenticity as a leader of a care-givers' centre. I use the American term care-giver as this is based on a presentation I gave at the inaugural conference of the Action Research Network of the Americas in San Francisco 1-2 May 2013. In the UK we are called a carers' centre and our aim is to support unpaid carers who care for a family member or friend who could not manage without their help due to illness or disability. This paper addresses a puzzle: how to account for changes in the routine behavior of groups, organizations and individuals in Britain? Following a detailed analysis of state-market interdependence and the role of the state in creating the market, an analysis drawn from the thinking of Weber and Polanyi, we suggest adapting Weber's notion of bureaucratic revolution: in what we call the British bureaucratic revolution, the state has played an essential role in social change by creating institutions and rules that are lastingly reorienting actors' behavior. The example of the healthcare field is examined in order to identify the specific mechanisms that have been impacting on behavior within an approximately ten-year period; namely, the introduction of 1) competitive practices (sanction/reward) and 2) auditing and inspection.
