With the development of computer technology, automatic test paper generation systems have gradually become an effective tool for detecting and maintaining national machine security and protecting the rights and interests of workers. This article achieved multi-level oral scores for different types of questions through online scoring using artificial neural networks in recent years. Based on its specific situation and evaluation index requirements, an analysis module that is reasonable, efficient, and in line with the hierarchical structure and module requirements of national conditions has been designed to complete the research on automatic test paper generation technology, in order to help better manage and allocate human resources and improve production efficiency. Abstract: Advanced neuro-fuzzy modeling, namely an adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), was employed to develop models for the prediction of suspended solids (SS) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal of a full-scale wastewater treatment plant treating process wastewaters from a paper mill. In order to improve the network performance, fuzzy subtractive clustering was used to identify model''s architecture and optimize fuzzy rule, meanwhile principal component analysis (PCA) was applied to reduce the input variable dimensionality. Input variables were reduced from six to four for COD and SS models, by considering PCA results and linear correlation matrices among input and output variables. The results indicate that reasonable forecasting and control performances have been achieved through the developed system. The minimum mean absolute percentage errors of 1.003% and 0.5161% for CODeff and SSeff could be achieved using ANFIS. The maximum correlation coefficient values for CODeff and SSeff were 0.9912 and 0.9882, respectively. The minimum mean square errors of 1.2883 and 0.0342, and the minimum RMSEs of 1.135 and 0.1849 for CODeff and SSeff could also be achieved. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: A new approach of paper defect recognition is proposed. To implement this method, computer is used to acquire paper image and the subtraction algorithm is used to determine if the image contains defect at first. For the image with paper defect, wavelet packet decomposition is applied to extracting the feature vector of the defect. A BP neural network is designed for recognizing the defect type according to the feature vector. This approach provides a unified detection algorithm for different types of paper defects. In previous works, an RBFG neural network (NN) has been developed to predict electrical properties of transformer oil. The prediction quality was good with insulation properties having monotonous functions, In the opposite case, ISA's prediction error increased with a big rate. This paper focuses upon the press section of a paper machine and describes a neural network vibration-based condition monitoring system for providing advance warning of faults in the felts. These are extremely important components of the paper machine as they are responsible for guiding the paper through the press nips. Any deterioration in the felts may result in paper breakage and machine shut-downs with a resulting fall in productivity. The need for tighter control of the manufacturing process is thus the main motivation for this work. The system developed makes use of spectral analysis of the raw vibration signals. This involves the technique of acceleration enveloping for isolating the spectral components that reflect the process defects. Since visual examination of the spectra for detecting subtle changes in the early stages is both difficult and impractical, a peak detection algorithm has been designed. Its purpose is to extract the relevant features from each spectrum. These are then fed into a neural network classifier for discriminating between the fault and the no-fault conditions. The system is demonstrated to be successful for detecting felt deterioration in its early stages when assessed on industrial data. This paper presents an indoor positioning strategy based on Visible Light Communication that relies on LED luminaires as transmitters, whose luminous flux is modulated at different frequencies, and a light sensor as a receiver. Then, a previously trained Artificial Neural Network (ANN) uses the illuminance signal gathered by the receiver as input to estimate the sensor's position. The main contribution of the technique is that the ANN is trained by using an illuminance estimator based on the lighting distribution of the luminaires, which is obtained through the IES file provided by the luminaire's manufacturer, without the need to collect data from the environment. In this work, the designed illuminance estimator is validated by comparing it to the well-known commercial software DIALux and Relux. The algorithm's setting and the performance evaluation of the ANN are explained. Then, the impact of the lighting uniformity and the environment's number of divisions on the accuracy of the results is analyzed. Background: In a pain drawing (PD), the patient shades or marks painful areas on an illustration of the human body. This simple yet powerful tool captures essential aspects of the subjective pain experience, such as localization, intensity, and distribution of pain, and enables the extraction of meaningful information, such as pain area, widespreadness, and segmental pattern. Starting as a simple pen-on-paper tool, PDs are now sophisticated digital health applications paving the way for many new and exciting basic translational and clinical applications. Objective: Grasping the full potential of digital PDs and laying the groundwork for future medical PD apps requires an understanding of the methodological developments that have shaped our current understanding of uses and design. This review presents methodological milestones in the development of both pen-on-paper and digital PDs, thereby offering insight into future possibilities created by the transition from paper to digital. Methods: We conducted a systematic literature search covering PD acquisition , conception of PDs , PD analysis , and PD visualization. Results: The literature search yielded 435 potentially relevant papers, from which 53 methodological milestones were identified. These milestones include, for example, the grid method to quantify pain area, the pain-frequency maps, and the use of artificial neural networks to facilitate diagnosis. Conclusions: Digital technologies have had a significant influence on the evolution of PDs, whereas their versatility is leading to ever new applications in the field of medical apps and beyond. This article introduces a versatile functional form for Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) through a simple, yet effective, transformation of the current framework. The models are applied through a new hierarchical bayesian estimation procedure for logistic regression to highly-cited papers in the Management Information Systems (MIS) field. The results are uniformly better, in regards to model fit and inference for in-sample and out-of-sample data, for simulation studies and real-world data applications, requiring very little time to convergence to true population parameters. In simulation studies, I show that the method contains the true parameters nearly three times as often as widely used existing GLMs, and does so while having confidence intervals that are 54.50% smaller, while requiring around two-thirds the number of MCMC iterations as existing bayesian methods. In Scientometric applications the methodology is shown to be highly robust with predictive/classification accuracy, either equaling or exceeding existing methods for identifying highly-cited articles including Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). Thus, the method is shown to be robust to the amount of asymmetry (or symmetry) of the probability of success (or failure) and robust to unbalanced samples and varying Data Generating Processes. Further, the methodology is equivalent to current methods if the data support them and is therefore complementary to existing methods, without loss of interpretability of model parameters. For the MIS field it finds that Popularity Parameter (PP) of an article Keywords can predict whether a paper will be highly-cited (top 25% of highly-cited articles) between two to three years after publication and beyond. • This study improved the citation prediction accuracy by applying the BP neural network. • The BP neural network significantly outperformed the other six baselines (XGBoost, RF, LR, SVR, KNN, and RNN). • Five essential features were determined for citation prediction. Predicting the citation counts of academic papers is of considerable significance to scientific evaluation. This study used a four-layer Back Propagation (BP) neural network model to predict the five-year citations of 49,834 papers in the library, information and documentation field indexed by the CSSCI database and published from 2000 to 2013. We extracted six paper features, two journal features, nine author features, eight reference features, and five early citation features to make the prediction. The empirical experiments showed that the performance of the BP neural network is significantly better than those of the six baseline models. In terms of the prediction effect, the accuracy of the model at predicting infrequently cited papers was higher than that for frequently cited ones. We determined that five essential features have significant effects on the prediction performance of the model, i.e., 'citations in the first two years', 'first-cited age', 'paper length', 'month of publication', and 'self-citations of journals', and the other features contribute only slightly to the prediction. The Brazilian energy spot price is obtained through a chain of dynamic stochastic optimization models that works with the uncertainties related to its continental hydrogeneration-based power system. In that sense, this paper presents an information theoretic learning neural forecasting model for daily streamflow prediction of Brazilian hydroelectric power plants. More precisely, the maximum correntropy criterion was used as the error function of a multilayer perceptron. After the prediction stage, the generated outputs were used as one of the inputs of the model chain that is used to compute the hourly energy spot price in Brazil. To the best of the authors' knowledge, it is the first paper that aims to analyze the impact of the streamflow prediction on the Brazilian hourly energy spot price formation. In terms of streamflow forecast, results indicated that the predictions originated from the proposed forecasting model were equivalent to the ones from the official models, especially in the first predicted day. In the spot price graph analysis, the main result pointed that the curves provided from the modeled structure were closer to the values obtained using the actual flows than the official prices, which shows that the proposed work could produce prices more aligned to the real hydrological system conditions. From that, the study's relevance is due to the conclusion that the official process of streamflow forecasting can be improved to generated outputs more consistent with the actual system conditions, to avoid further expenses in the system operation due to potential unscheduled hydrothermal dispatches. Sintering performance index can reflect the quality of sintered ore, and the level of sintered ore performance directly affects the stability of blast furnace production. Accurate prediction of sinter performance metrics is essential to optimise sinter quality, improve production efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Based on the sintering big data, this paper proposes the Optuna-DFNN model by combining the fuzzy neural network algorithm, the deep neural network algorithm and the Optuna framework to address the problems of difficulty in tuning the parameter, lack of self-learning ability, and poor generalisation of the model of the traditional method when faced with the input of multiple parameters. The paper predicts the four prediction indexes of yield rate, return fines ratio, drum index and RDI +3.15 respectively. Among them, the relative error of the prediction of the yield rate is within 1.3 %, the relative error of the prediction of the return fines ratio is within 2.8 %, the relative error of the prediction of the drum index is within 0.32 %, and the relative error of the prediction of the RDI +3.15 is within 1.4 %. The results indicate that the Optuna-DFNN model has better performance in predicting sintering performance metrics. Based on the Optuna-DFNN sintered ore performance prediction model, the quality of sintered ore can be accurately predicted, the sintering process parameters can be adjusted in a timely manner, the sintering process can be optimized, and the utilization coefficient of sintering can be improved. In response to the suddenness, uncertainty, and complexity of public emergencies, this paper presents an analytical framework for the evolution of public emergencies based on the research idea of "event-relationship-logic". The aim is to comprehensively grasp, comprehend, and predict the development logic and internal mechanisms of public emergencies, assisting emergency departments in promptly understanding the progression of events. Building upon this foundation, this paper proposes a complete process for constructing an Event Logic Graph (ELG) in the field of public emergencies and introduces a multi-structured convolutional neural network model that incorporates word position features to extract causality between events. Experimental findings indicate that the multistructured convolutional neural network model demonstrates higher accuracy and effectiveness compared to the traditional template matching method. Furthermore, through the empirical analysis, we find that the evolutionary path of the causal event chain is relatively short, and the evolutionary motivation of public emergencies is intricate throughout their entire lifecycle. Consequently, emergency departments should focus more on key nodes, central nodes, and intermediate nodes within the causal event chain and adeptly identify these specific nodes to swiftly uncover correlations between events. Additionally, public emergencies easily convert into public crisis, underscoring the necessity for emergency departments to comprehend the evolutionary motivation and inducement factors of public emergencies. This paper presents a comprehensive survey on the use of artificial neural networks (ANN) for enhancing DC-DC converters in renewable energy systems, focusing on equal current sharing and voltage stability amidst the growing scarcity of electricity. The survey methodically examines literature on ANN integration with DC-DC converters, selecting studies based on their relevance to managing renewable energy efficiently, improving power distribution, and the effectiveness of ANN in addressing these challenges. The research identifies several gaps, including optimal power distribution, predictive controller limitations, and the instability of proportional-integral (PI) controls due to online training algorithm adjustments. To bridge these gaps, an innovative ANN-based control method for DC-DC converters is proposed, aimed at bolstering power generation quality, enabling flexible power distribution across microgrids, and enhancing the stability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of renewable energy sources. Moreover, the paper discusses the correction of offline training problems, feedback error signal corrections, and integral error signals of DC-DC converters, offering new insights and solutions to overcome these technical barriers. This study underscores the converter's size and integration significance, juxtaposing traditional methods with ANN-based controls to highlight the latter's performance and efficiency advantages. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the healthcare sector faced unprecedented challenges in effectively managing hospital resources. A crucial aspect of resource planning and allocation is the ability to predict the expected length of a patient's stay. Detecting whether a patient requires extended hospitalization or a shorter stay becomes vital for efficient hospital resource allocation and utilization. This paper aims to build a deep learning-based analytical model named LoSNet that predicts the length of stay for each patient at the time of admission to the Hospital. The early prediction of the length of stay requirement would aid healthcare professionals in optimizing the utility of hospital beds and other resources. In this direction, this paper compares the prediction ability of various machine-learning models including Random Forest, Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, and Naïve Bayes with a customized deep neural network model. The dataset used for this analysis includes ground truth on 3,18,438 patients' length of stay categorized into eleven classes such as 0-10 days being one class, 11-20 days being another class, and so on to more than 100 days. The methodology employed in this study involves data collection, data transformation, and training LoSNet, a deep neural network with no attention mechanisms. The results indicate impressive performance over other models and a random classifier, with a cross-entropy loss of 1.531 and an accuracy of 0.408 in predicting hospitalization durations in an 11-class classification setup, highlighting the framework's effectiveness in healthcare management. As digital technologies have advanced more rapidly, the number of paper documents recently converted into a digital format has exponentially increased. To respond to the urgent need to categorize the growing number of digitized documents, the classification of digitized documents in real time has been identified as the primary goal of our study. A paper classification is the first stage in automating document control and efficient knowledge discovery with no or little human involvement. Artificial intelligence methods such as Deep Learning are now combined with segmentation to study and interpret those traits, which were not conceivable ten years ago. Deep learning aids in comprehending input patterns so that object classes may be predicted. The segmentation process divides the input image into separate segments for a more thorough image study. This study proposes a deep learning-enabled framework for automated document classification, which can be implemented in higher education. To further this goal, a dataset was developed that includes seven categories: Diplomas, Personal documents, Journal of Accounting of higher education diplomas, Service letters, Orders, Production orders, and Student orders. Subsequently, a deep learning model based on Conv2D layers is proposed for the document classification process. In the final part of this research, the proposed model is evaluated and compared with other machine-learning techniques. The results demonstrate that the proposed deep learning model shows high results in document categorization overtaking the other machine learning models by reaching 94.84%, 94.79%, 94.62%, 94.43%, 94.07% in accuracy, precision, recall, F-score, and AUC-ROC, respectively. Machine learning performs well in many problems. However, the tendency to generate predictions that violate theoretical knowledge makes it difficult to apply to practical processing. To resolve this situation, this paper combines domain knowledge with a data-driven model, proposes a theory-guided machine learning framework based on a parameter transfer strategy, and applies it to the width prediction of plates after multiple passes of hot rolling. The framework applies a swarm optimization algorithm to the original theoretical model and generates numerous highly-physical consistent samples. The established deep neural network (DNN) model is trained with simulated data, and the parameters are fine-tuned using a parameter transfer strategy combined with actual data to ensure excellent adaptation to the actual environment based on adequate learning of theoretical knowledge. In tests, the proposed model had the best overall prediction performance in this paper. Meanwhile, the developed model is consistent with the existing perception of rolling theory. This allows for the quick and reliable application of machine learning models in production. This paper presents a novel machine learning (ML) based approach to predict machining cycle (part program running) times for complex 5-axis machining. Typical 5-axis machining toolpaths consist of short-segmented discrete linear cutter location lines (CL-lines) with simultaneously varying tool center point (TCP) and orientation vectors (ORI). As the 5-axis machine tool NC (numerical control) system tries to interpolate such part programs smoothly, the TCP motion decelerates and accelerates repeatedly causing the actual feedrate to fluctuate. The actual observed (resultant) feedrate can be approximately 30 % lower than the user commanded one. Furthermore, if the toolpath requires the 5-axis machine tool to travel closer to its singular point, or if the workpiece placement on the table is not optimal, actual feedrate is even lowered further. This paper presents two ML-based approaches to accurately predict 5-axis machining toolpaths. The first strategy uses a bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) network to model the machine tool behavior and generates a direct final cycle time estimation for any given part program. This approach only uses the toolpath geometry to predict the cycle time, and for training it only needs the "final" cycle times of similar part programs making it practical on today's shop floors. The second strategy requires individual CL-line processing times for training. In return, it can provide highly accurate cycle time predictions. Both strategies can capture the interpolation dynamics of 5-axis machine tool NC systems accurately. Simulation studies and experimental validations are conducted on modern 5-axis machine tools with varying workpiece placements and interpolation parameters. This paper analyzes global robust exponential stability of interval bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with multiple time-varying delays, proposes a direct method based on system solutions, and gives sufficient conditions under which interval BAM neural networks have a unique and globally robustly exponentially stable equilibrium point. This method not only avoids the difficult to set up any Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, but also derives simpler global robust exponential stability criteria. This paper proposes a deep neural network (DNN)-based approach for radiation pattern synthesis of 8 elements phased array antenna. For this purpose, 181 points of a desired radiation pattern are fed as input to the DNN and phases of array elements are extracted as the outputs. Existing DNN techniques for radiation pattern synthesis are not directly applicable to higher-order arrays as the dataset size grows exponentially with array dimensions. To overcome this bottleneck, we propose novel and efficient methods of generating datasets for DNN. Specifically, by leveraging the constant phase-shift characteristic of the phased array antenna, dataset size is reduced by several orders of magnitude and made independent of the array size. This has considerable advantages in terms of speed and complexity, especially in real-time applications as the DNN can immediately learn and synthesize the desired patterns. The performance of the proposed methods is validated by using an ideal square beam and an optimal array pattern as reference inputs to the DNN. The study aims to report empirical findings of quantitative research investigating what variables are significant leading proxies of fraudulent financial reporting (FFR) and the performance of the fraud detection model. The paper used financial and non-financial proxies as indicators to detect FFR with the panel data of 2235 observations of listed companies on the Vietnamese Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2020. Based on the materiality principle in auditing, the study divided the profit variance ratio into four material fraud thresholds of over 5%, 10%, 20%, and 50%. Two data mining techniques were employed: random forest for the classification model and an artificial neural network for building the best fraud prediction model. The findings show that the average accuracy of the prediction results of the random forest algorithm (RFA) reaches 91% for a material fraud threshold of 5%; when the materiality of fraud increases to above 50% of profit variance, the predictability is 98%. The average prediction accuracy of an artificial neural network (ANN) for the training set is 99%, and the test set is 97% at different fraud thresholds. These results confirm that RFA and ANN give a high accuracy in predicting fraud, and the determinants of firms committing to FFR are proxies of financial stability, followed by cash in the business and the nature of the industry. Notably, the three most important proxies related to FFR include return on total assets, return on equity, and EBT on total assets. The findings have practical implications: to identify fraudulent firms, creditors, analysts, and other stakeholders should use financial and non-financial ratios and employ data mining techniques instead of traditional fraud detection methods. Power generation systems using photovoltaic (PV) technology have become increasingly popular due to their high production efficiency. A partial shading defect is the most common defect in this system under the process of production, diminishing both the amount and quality of energy produced. This paper proposes an Artificial Neural Network and Golden Eagle Optimization based prediction of the fault and its detection in a standalone PV system to recover the optimum performance and diagnosis of the PV system. The proposed technique combines the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Golden Eagle Optimization (GEO) algorithm. The major contribution of this work is to raise PV systems' performance. The result is a defect in the classification and identification of an ANN is used. The use of GEO provides an efficient optimization technique for ANN training, which reduces the training time and improves the accuracy of the model. The proposed technique is executed on the MATLAB site and contrasted with different present techniques, like genetic algorithm (GA),Elephant Herding Optimization (EHO) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Internet of Things (IoT) in recent times offers a greater amount of flexible design during the deployment of it in the form of network. The interfacing of IoT with a wireless sensor network (WSN) requires an optimal solution to preserve the consumption of energy while the data has been transmitted via nodes. In this paper, we develop machine learning (ML)-assisted routing to route the data packets of IoT sensors from the real-time environment over WSN. In this study, we use three different planes for optimal routing of packets from the source node to the destination node. The source node is the IoT sensors that involve data collection, and the intermediate nodes are the WSN sensor nodes that route the packets. Optimal routing decisions based on the pre-trained data in an artificial neural network (ANN) stabilize the routing of data packets without congestion. The simulation is conducted to test the efficacy of the ANN routing in the integrated network, and the results show that the ANN-based routing achieves higher energy efficiency and throughput than other models. Relating specifically to human–computer interaction (HCI), computer vision research has placed a substantial emphasis on intelligent emotion recognition in recent years. The primary emphasis lies in investigating speech aspects and bodily motions, while the knowledge of recognizing emotions from facial expressions remains relatively unexplored. Automated facial emotion detection allows a machine to assess and understand a person’s emotional state, allowing the system to predict intent by analyzing facial expressions. Therefore, this research provides a novel parameter selection strategy using swarm intelligence and a fitness function for intelligent recognition of micro emotions. This paper presents a novel method based on geometric visual representation obtained from facial landmark points. We employ the Deep Neural Networks (DNN) model to analyze the input features from the normalized angle and distance values derived from these landmarks. The results of the experiments show that Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) worked very well by using only a few carefully chosen features. The paper suggests a hybrid numerical method to price barrier options under Levy processes. As the main ingredient of our approach, we model the values of the Wiener-Hopf factors using artificial neural networks in the exact formula for the solution. The numerical Wiener-Hopf factorization typically reduces the problem to the factorization of the polynomial of exp(iξ), which is interpreted as the characteristic function of the random variable that approximates the Lévy process at the exponentially distributed time moment. We design and train a feedforward neural network with one hidden layer that approximates the coefficients of factors based on the input vector of the factorized polynomial coefficients. We implemented in the software a training data generator and a generalized loss function to factorize a polynomial of arbitrary degree. We demonstrate the performance of our approach using examples of factorization of second-, sixth- and 254th-degree polynomials. Three-dimensional variation in structural components or fiber alignments results in complex mechanical property distribution in tissues and biomaterials. In this paper, we use a physics-informed UNet-based neural network model (El-UNet) to discover the three-dimensional (3D) internal composition and space-dependent material properties of heterogeneous isotropic and transversely isotropic materials without a priori knowledge of the composition. We then show the capabilities of El-UNet by validating against data obtained from finite-element simulations of two soft tissues, namely, brain tissue and articular cartilage, under various loading conditions. We first simulated compressive loading of 3D brain tissue comprising of distinct white matter and gray matter mechanical properties undergoing small strains with isotropic linear elastic behavior, where El-UNet reached mean absolute relative errors under 1.5 % for elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio estimations across the 3D volume. We showed that the 3D solution achieved by El-UNet was superior to relative stiffness mapping by inverse of axial strain and two-dimensional plane stress/plane strain approximations. Additionally, we simulated a transversely isotropic articular cartilage with known fiber orientations undergoing compressive loading, and accurately estimated the spatial distribution of all five material parameters, with mean absolute relative errors under 5 %. Our work demonstrates the application of the computationally efficient physics-informed El-UNet in 3D elasticity imaging and provides methods for translation to experimental 3D characterization of soft tissues and other materials. The proposed El-UNet offers a powerful tool for both in vitro and ex vivo tissue analysis, with potential extensions to in vivo diagnostics. Elasticity imaging is a technique that reconstructs mechanical properties of tissue using deformation and force measurements. Given the complexity of this reconstruction, most existing methods have mostly focused on 2D problems. Our work is the first implementation of physics-informed UNets to reconstruct three-dimensional material parameter distributions for isotropic and transversely isotropic linear elastic materials by having deformation and force measurements. This paper presents a novel method for detecting and classifying faults in dynamic control systems empowered with DC motors, operating under laboratory conditions. The approach employs a convolutional neural network model enhanced with an artificial endocrine influence to evaluate the condition of the rotating motor shaft by analysing information from the vibration sensors mounted on the shaft itself. The trained network effectively classifies the level of unbalance in the system into three categories based on the vibrations: optimal (no unbalance), first and second degree of unbalance. To validate the efficiency of the proposed model, its performance was compared with the performance of deep learning algorithms commonly recommended for time-series classification: default convolutional neural network, fully convolutional neural network, and residual network. The new model was shown to perform classification tasks with the highest accuracy, proving to be an efficient fault diagnosis tool with a viable potential to be applicable in industrial predictive maintenance processes. Malicious Activity Detection in the area of cybersecurity for smart cities is dominant in protecting the consistent organization of urban atmospheres. Leveraging innovative machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) approaches, mainly anomaly detection methods permits the identification of abnormal patterns and probable threats within the massive streams of data produced by smart city methods. So, this paper designs a Fusion of Optimization Algorithms and DL for Enhanced Malicious Activity Recognition (FOADL-EMAR) technique for cybersecurity in smart cities. The purpose of the FOADL-EMAR technique is to recognize the presence of malicious activities using optimal DL techniques in the environment of a smart city. To accomplish this, the FOADL-EMAR technique uses a Z-score data normalization model to measure the input dataset into a useful format. In addition, the FOADL-EMAR technique uses an improved sand cat swarm optimization (ISCSO) algorithm that can be applied to select an optimal subset of features. An ensemble of three DL techniques is used namely long short-term memory (LSTM), deep neural networks (DNNs), and extreme learning machine (ELM) for malicious activity detection. The Harris Hawks Optimization (HHO) approach has been applied to improve the detection results of the ensemble models. In the past few years, the lane detection technique has become a key factor for autonomous driving systems and self-driving cars on the road. Among the various vehicle subsystems, the lane detection module is one of the essential parts of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Conventional lane detection approaches use machine vision algorithms to find straight lines in road scene images. However, it is challenging to identify straight or curved lane markings in complex environments. To deal with this problem, this paper presents a lane detection technique based on deep learning. It is combined with a 3D convolutional network, so the temporal information is added to the network architecture. Using the front camera images, the system can immediately detect the lane marking information ahead. Moreover, we propose an approach for improvement by adding the time axis to the network architecture. In addition to using 3D-ResNet50, the temporal convolution and spatial convolution are separated for processing. The accuracy is 91.34% improved after adding time and space split convolution with LeakyReLU. The design requirements for the hydrodynamic performance of underwater vehicles vary significantly depending on the application. Optimization without an initial model results in challenges such as large design domains, nonlinear complexity, and high data requirements. To optimize the hydrodynamic performance during the design process, in this paper, a multi-surrogate model was employed to progressively design the shape of an autonomous and remotely-operated vehicle. Based on the data characteristics of different stages, this approach strikes a balance among data quantity, prediction accuracy, and multi-objective requirements. An artificial neural network prediction surrogate model was constructed based on the principle of the minimum prediction factor using the optimal Latin hypercube sampling method. During the optimization of the design domain, the optimum objective was to minimize the dimensionless force (G(x)). During the multi-objective optimization stage, a regression kriging surrogate model was constructed based on a support vector product. The optimization objectives were to maximize volume and minimize dimensionless forces. This enabled the overall design process to attain optimal Pareto solutions within the design domain while simultaneously ensuring high prediction accuracy and minimum data requirements. It is a difficult problem to locate the snake detecting robot in the closed complex environment of underground coal mine. The traditional localization methods usually depend on the estimation of complex ground parameters in coal mine tunnel, which leads to the complexity of establishing the localization model. In response to this compelling problem, we propose the new method to estimate the trajectory curvature and path angle of the robot, and a simple localization model of snake robot based on turning is established. On this basis, the dead reckoning localization method based on the combination of a high-precision 6-axis inertial navigation module MPU6050 and magnetic Hall encoders is proposed, which reduces the difficulty of traditional localization methods. In order to improve the localization accuracy of the robot, an algorithm combines Kalman filter and Deep learning is proposed. Firstly, the Kalman filter algorithm is used to eliminate the white Gaussian noise in the path angle signal of robot. Then, aiming at various drifts from low-frequency stage in the path angle signal, a prediction model of path angle output value based on LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) deep neural network is established, which can predict the path angle output value for a period in the future, thereby achieving the robot's dead reckoning. The simulation and experiment results prove that the relative localization accuracy of the robot can be improved, in the simulated coal mine tunnel, the maximum relative error of the robot's location is 1.872×10-9 cm, and the maximum error of the path angle is 0.0028 rad, the determination coefficient R² is 1.000, which reflect that the established LSTM model has higher prediction accuracy, better performance, and stronger generalization ability than RBF (Radial Basis Function) neural network. Wind field forecasting is crucial for human activities, but numerical weather prediction still has room to improve accuracy. In this paper, we formalize wind field forecast correction as a spatiotemporal sequence prediction task and propose MotionUVRNN, a recurrent neural network model suitable for wind field correction. The model consists of three elements: a feature decoupling module, an encoder, and a corrector. The feature decoupling module decouples the wind field into U-Wind (Wind component in x/longitude-direction) feature, V-Wind (Wind component in y/latitude direction) feature, and spatiotemporal feature. The encoder unifiedly models the motion trend and transient variation of the wind field. A novel long short-term memory dynamic capture unit (RS-LSTM) is proposed as the core part of the encoder to capture the different dynamic patterns of U-Wind and V-Wind. The corrector extracts and integrates multi-scale wind field information to capture regional features. By correcting the 3- 12 hour wind field forecasts from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF; EC for short), the proposed model reduced the wind speed prediction error by 53.37% to 46.52%, and lowered the wind direction error by 21.99% to 13.26%. This paper studies a multi-hydraulic system (MHS) synchronization control algorithm. Firstly, a general nonlinear asymmetric MHS state space entirety model is established and subsequently the model form is simplified by nonlinear feedback linearization. Secondly, an entirety model-type solution is proposed, integrating a nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) algorithm with a cross-coupling control (CCC) algorithm. Furthermore, a novel disturbance compensator based on the system's inverse model is introduced to effectively handle disturbances, encompassing unmodeled errors and noise. The proposed innovative controller, known as nonlinear model predictive control—cross-coupling control with deep neural network feedforward (NMPC-CCC-DNNF), is designed to minimize synchronization errors and counteract the impact of disturbances. The stability of the control system is rigorously demonstrated. Finally, simulation results underscore the efficacy of the NMPC-CCC-DNNF controller, showcasing a remarkable 60.8% reduction in synchronization root mean square error (RMSE) compared to other controllers, reaching up to 91.1% in various simulations. This paper aims to analyze the influencing factors of supply chain risk management under FinTech innovation. It takes Enterprise A as the research object. To begin with, the basic knowledge of supply chain risk management is introduced, and its five influencing factors are discussed. Furthermore, the relevant theories of the cloud model are analyzed and three kinds of cloud generators are compared. Combined with Back Propagation Fuzzy Neural Network (BPFNN), a supply chain management model is constructed based on the fuzzy cloud model - BPFNN. Eventually, the middle-level and above managers at Enterprise A and experts are provided with questionnaires to assess the various factors impacting supply chain risk. The model's effectiveness is verified through error convergence iii training samples and the fitting of test samples. The results show that the test set sample's mean square error is stable at 0.0137, indicating the model's strong generalization ability. The cloud fuzzy neural network model for financial supply chain collaborative innovation's risk assessment is successfully established. In recent years, the issue of preserving the privacy of parties involved in blockchain transactions has garnered significant attention. To ensure privacy protection for both sides of the transaction, many researchers are using ring signature technology instead of the original signature technology. However, in practice, identifying the signer of anillegal blockchain transactiononce ithas beenplacedon the chainnecessitates a signature technique that offers conditional anonymity. Some illegals can conduct illegal transactions and evade the lawusing ring signatures,which offer perfect anonymity. This paper firstly constructs a conditionally anonymous linkable ring signature using the Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol and the Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm, which offers a non-interactive process for finding the signer of a ring signature in a specific case. Secondly, this paper's proposed scheme is proven correct and secure under Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm Assumptions. Lastly, compared to previous constructions, the scheme presented in this paper provides a non-interactive, efficient, and secure confirmation process. In addition, this paper presents the implementation of the proposed scheme on a personal computer, where the confirmation process takes only 2, 16, and 24ms for ring sizes of 4, 24 and 48, respectively, and the confirmation process can be combined with a smart contract on the blockchain with a tested millisecond level of running efficiency. In conclusion, the proposed scheme offers a solution to the challenge of identifying the signer of an illegal blockchain transaction, making it an essential contribution to the field. The default scheduler of Apache Hadoop demonstrates operational inefficiencies when connecting external sources and processing transformation jobs. This paper has proposed a novel scheduler for enhancement of the performance of the Hadoop Yet Another Resource Negotiator (YARN) scheduler, called the Adaptive Node and Container Aware Scheduler (ANACRAC), that aligns cluster resources to the demands of the applications in the real world. The approach performs to leverage the user-provided configurations as a unique design to apportion nodes, or containers within the nodes, to application thresholds. Additionally, it provides the flexibility to the applications for selecting and choosing which node's resources they want to manage and adds limits to prevent threshold breaches by adding additional jobs as needed. Node or container awareness can be utilized individually or in combination to increase efficiency. On top of this, the resource availability within the node and containers can also be investigated.This paper also focuses on the elasticity of the containers and self-adaptiveness depending on the job type. The results proved that 15%-20% performance improvement was achieved compared with the node and container awareness feature of the ANACRAC. It has been validated that this ANACRAC scheduler demonstrates a 70%-90% performance improvement compared with the default Fair scheduler. Experimental results also demonstrated the success of the enhancement and a performance improvement in the range of 60% to 200% when applications were connected with external interfaces and high workloads. This paper presents the latest advances in machine learning techniques and highlights deep learning (DL) methods in recent studies. This technology has recently received great attention as it can solve complex problems. This paper focuses on covering one of the deep learning algorithms (deep neural network) and learning about its types such as convolutional neural network (CNN), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), etc. We have discussed recent changes, such as advanced DL technologies. Next, we continue analyzing and discussing the challenges and possible solutions of machine learning, such as big data and object detection, studying more papers in deep learning, and knowing the main experiments and future directions. In addition, this review also identifies some successful deep learning applications in recent years. Moreover, in this paper, one of the deep learning methods, convolutional neural networks, is applied to detect objects in images by using the You Only Look One model and comparing it with RetinaNet using pre-trained models. Agriculture plays an important role in the economy of any country. Approximately half of the population of developing countries is directly or indirectly connected to the agriculture field. Many farmers do not choose the right crop for cultivation depending on their soil type, crop type, and climatic requirements like rainfall. This wrong decision of crop selection directly affects the production of the crops which leads to yield and economic loss in the country. Many parameters should be observed such as soil characteristics, type of crop, and environmental factors for the cultivation of the right crop. Manual decision-making is time-taking and requires extensive experience. Therefore, there should be an automated system for the right crop recommendation to reduce human efforts and loss. An automated crop recommender system should take these parameters as input and suggest the farmer's right crop. Therefore, in this paper, a long short-termmemory Network with an attention block has been proposed. The proposed model contains 27 layers, the first of which is a feature input layer. There exist 25 hidden layers between them, and an output layer completes the structure. Through these levels, the proposed model enables a successful recommendation of the crop. Additionally, the dropout layer's regularization properties aids in reduction of overfitting of the model. In this paper, a customized novel long short-term memory (LSTM) model is proposed with a residual attention block that recommends the right crop to farmers. The neural network algorithm operates by training on data to learn and enhance its accuracy. If there is any mistake in the learning process, the machine will react unexpectedly and produce incorrect information. So, whenever a neural network model is developed, it is mandatory to evaluate its performance and ensure its output is accurate. Cameras, touchscreens, internet connectivity, and powerful CPUs have contributed to the popularity of smartphones. Mobile apps are software applications that run on smartphones. ML enhances mobile app functionality by offering features such as voice recognition, image analysis, natural language processing, personalization, and recommendations. Training ML models using mobile apps is challenging due to limited resources, data, and privacy concerns. Object recognition is a neural network-based technique that enables the identification and localization of objects in an image or video. This technique is used in driverless cars, disease identification, industrial inspection, robotics, and more. In this paper, the author introduces a new neural network-based algorithm that utilizes mobile devices for training and recognizing images. Although mobile devices have some technological limitations for training, well-established guidelines for systematically mapping verification and validation techniques have been used in the proposed neural network to ensure performance and correctness in on-device object training and recognition. This paper presents a novel method for identification of the sub-system parameters of a Wiener-Hammerstein Nonlinear (WHNL) system that is used for modeling RF Power Amplifier characteristics. The proposed method first isolates the overall linear system from the memoryless nonlinearity by exploiting the Bussgang decomposition method. Then, Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) analysis is used for the estimation of the inner linear system. Finally, the outer linear system parameters are updated based on the inner system estimation. The estimated systems are then used to model the target system for an In-Band-Full-Duplex (IBFD) scenario. Performance of Self-Interferene Cancellation (SIC) has been evaluated under the existence of Signal-of-Interest (SoI). Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) metric of the SoI is used to compare with a Half-Duplex (HD) receiver under various inner linear system parameters. SIC performance has been examined with respect to the changing power levels of the SoI and self-interference signal for various delay and gain values of a practical two-tap inner linear system. The benefit of modeling the inner linear system has been revealed by comparing the SIC performance with Hammerstein nonlinear model. In this paper, we consider the evolution of a new probability distribution called the exponential flexible Weibull distribution. The proposed exponential flexible Weibull distribution is obtained by combining the flexible Weibull extension with the exponential T- X strategy. For the exponential flexible Weibull, the estimators of the model parameters are derived mathematically. The appraisal of these parameters is accomplished through a simulation study. The applicability and virtuoso of the exponential flexible Weibull distribution are exemplified via two data sets. Furthermore, we implement the state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms, specifically Artificial Neural Networks and Extreme Gradient Boosting, which are widely employed in real-world applications. The utilization of solar radiation by converting them into thermal energy is discussed in this paper. Nanoparticles improve the ability of heat transfer therefore, it is beneficial in the use of solar thermal systems and energy storage devices. The novel mixture of nanoparticles Graphene and Polythiophene in base fluid, which has high thermodynamic properties for the improvement of thermal effect with electromagnetic effect by using Maxwell fluid model is discussed. Polyvinyl alcohol water is taken as base fluid flowing through a moveable flat plat. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations. The semi-analytical technique, homotopy analysis method is used to obtain the solution of the ordinary differential equations. The velocity is enhanced with magnetic and electric field strength. The increase of the Prandtl number, Eckert number and chemical reaction parameter, exceeds the thermal effect which produces more entropy generation and heat enhancement. The results show that the hybrid nanofluid with this Novel mixture is highly thermodynamic with higher entropy and rapid thermal augmentation which can be used in energy production and energy storage devices. A novel intelligent numerical computing technique multi-layer perceptron with feed-forward back-propagation, an artificial neural networking method with the Levenberg-Marquard algorithm is used in this model. Debris flow susceptibility evaluation plays a crucial role in the prevention and control of debris flow disasters. Therefore, this paper proposes a convolutional neural network model named multi-level feature extraction network (MFENet). First, a dual-channel CNN architecture incorporating the Embedding Channel Attention mechanism is used to extract shallow features from both digital elevation model images and multispectral images. Subsequently, channel shuffle and feature concatenation are applied to the features from the two channels to obtain fused feature sets. Following this, a deep feature extraction is performed on the fused feature sets using a residual module improved by maximum pooling. Finally, the susceptibility index of gullies to debris flows is calculated based on the similarity scores. Experimental results demonstrate that the model exhibits favorable classification performance, with an accuracy of 73.45%. Rolling bearings constitute one of the most vital components in mechanical equipment, monitoring and diagnosing the condition of rolling bearings is essential to ensure safe operation. In actual production, the collected fault signals typically contain noise and cannot be accurately identified. In the paper, stochastic resonance (SR) is introduced into a spiking neural network (SNN) as a feature enhancement method for fault signals with varying noise intensities, combining deep learning with SR to enhance classification accuracy. The output signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) can be enhanced with the SR effect when the noise-affected fault signal input into neurons. Validation of the method is carried out through experiments on the CWRU dataset, achieving classification accuracy of 99.9%. In high-noise environments, with SNR equal to −8 dB, SRDNs achieve over 92% accuracy, exhibiting better robustness and adaptability. • Stochastic resonance is combined with spiking neural networks to improve accuracy. • Diverse neurons are employed in Stochastic Resonance Deep Residual Networks (SRDN). • SRDN exhibits superb robustness and adaptability under different noise conditions.
