Repository of Low and Intermediate Level Solid Radioactive Wastes (ILRW) is accepted to deal with the ILRW produced from fast development of nuclear power industry and other fields. In performance assessment of the potential geologic repository, modeling plays a very important role in addition to experimental inverstigations. In addition to experimental inverstigations modeling has also to be used for these purposes. In the paper, stochastic mathematical theories were used for calculating the radionuclide transport in fractured rock masses at Repository of Low and Intermediate Level Solid Radioactive Wastes. To better understand about the dangers of public for radiation and the nuclides transport in fractured rock masses at low and intermediate level solid radioactive waste disposal, the paper builds three dimensional stochastic seepage grid model to describe radionuclide transport in fractured rock masses based on three-dimensional directional seepage theory that is built into percolation mechanics, sets up a rigorous computer simulating system to calculate the radionuclide transport and safety performance of the Repository of Low and Intermediate Level Solid Radioactive Wastes based on computing technology. Finally, To illustrate the precision and validity of this model that is built into the stochastic mathematical theories or computing technology, the simulation experiments are carried out to understand law of radionuclide transport. In this paper are given the results of ground water mathematical modeling of the source zone Sokolovići in order to define the optimal water exploitation. After processing and analyzing the results of hydrogeological and hydrological research of source of Sarajevsko Polje, boundary conditions are selected, and after that were made calibration of mathematical models for Sokolovići zone. Given the complexity and importance of groundwater sources Sokolovići, optimization of the results of the mathematical model is also made in this paper. Optimal exploitation (optima yield) of groundwater is selected based on the three criteria: 1 st the provision of river inflow in amount of that will not exceed the natural infiltration in accordance with the appropriate geometry and boundary conditions; 2 nd ensuring at least minimum required flow to downstream groundwater source, in quantities that exploitation of Sokolovići water well will not compromise, and 3 rd preservation of filtration stability of wells in the Sokolovići area. This paper describes the research and development of a server based BCF workflow and open source BCF server software. BCF is short for “BIM Collaboration Format” and is an open standard to communicate about the ‘issues’ of a BIM model during its design cycle. Essentially, a BCF issue holds a description of the issue, a status, links to a BIM model and objects, a picture of the issue and a camera orientation. The BCF standard is based on file exchange. BCF issues are packed into a ZIP file (.bcfzip) and sent to project partners. This paper, however, describes the use of the same BCF in a centralized online setting. An open source BCF server was developed, and integrated with an online 3D viewer and BIMserver. Through the BCF server it has been shown that project partners have been able to create issues, manage them online and evaluate them in context of the actual BIM model. Research questions investigated within this project included whether the BCF format is capable of describing the status of building objects in addition to merely describing their issues and to what extent the XML based BCF schema proved to be suitable for a more centralized online storage paradigm. A case study was conducted in order to investigate a suitable workflow for a collaborative design project that involved the online sharing of BIM data, issues, and status. Mass housing designs have become increasingly important due to the reasons of protecting urban aesthetic, providing originality and meeting the growing user demands. Accordingly, the need of having alternatives of new design approaches for these buildings has emerged. This paper focuses on the contributions of digital tools as a decision-support tool in the production of these approaches. For this purpose, an interactive plug-in which is applied in different stages of mass housing design has been developed as a computational tool by scripts of 3Ds Max software. Almost everyone would agree that teleworking is increasingly growing; but beyond this broad statement, we know little about how people behave when they work at home and how they balance their work and life. User comfort and productivity cannot be addressed properly, without a deep understanding of usersʼ working behavior. This gap is even deeper when it comes to the domain of smart homes as new types of housing which aim to enhance working at home. Hence, more user-centered studies are needed to comprehend the interrelationships among housing, technology, daily life and the work activities. In this paper, we use the outputs of an experiment to model usersʼ work activities in a smart home. The experiment was conducted among 254 respondents, who were asked to explore a smart home in a virtual environment and then to arrange their daily activities including work related activities in the virtual smart home. A choice modeling approach, based on the Multinomial Logit Model (MNL), is applied to model how an individual works at a smart home given influential factors such as the individualsʼ socio-demographic profile and their current lifestyle. Two features of working in a smart home are covered in this paper, namely, “the integration of work activities with other daily activities” and “the location of work activities in the house”. The results give better insight into the future trends of working at home and the effects of smart homes on working behavior of people. Abstract: Set pair analysis (SPA) is a new method to describe and process the system uncertainty and has been applied in many areas recently. In view of the uncertainty and complexity in the process of water quality evaluation of water supply networks, the paper introduced a new model-varying coefficient of discrepancy degree based on set pair analysis theory. In the model, a new effective method to the determination of discrepancy degree coefficient i is suggested. As an example, the paper evaluated water quality conditions of water supply networks from 3 monitoring spots by the model. The results of the assessment are in concordance with other evaluation methods. Compared with the other evaluation method, this model is perfect, the evaluating result is more reasonable and its resolving power is higher. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: The mathematical model for dissolved oxygen interaction with biochemical oxygen demand in an open channel flow is presented in this paper. We consider unsteady flow in one dimension. The model is in the form of partial differential equations which require to solve the dissolved oxygen coupled with the biochemical oxygen demand at the same corresponding position and time. For some specific flow cases, unsteady flows approach to certain stationary solutions which are possible to derive some corresponding exact solutions. However, for complicated flow problems, analytical solution cannot be derived. Efficient and accurate numerical method is required to solve numerically such the model. In this paper, we present the finite element method with linear basis function for solving the system. The accuracy of numerical solutions have been observed and compared with some existing exact solutions for some steady flow cases. To show the ability of our presented numerical scheme, the interaction between the dissolved oxygen and the biochemical oxygen demand is simulated for unsteady flow cases. Furthermore, the impacts of flow parameters such as flow velocity, kinetic reaction order, and diffusion coefficient have been simulated to observe the dissolved oxygen and biochemical oxygen demand dynamics. Abstract: The stress-strain behavior of frozen-thawed soil is a main issue of the frozen soil mechanics. In this paper, the change rules of soft soil shear strength, friction angle, cohesive force and other mechanical parameters were studied. After frozen-thawed cycles, the friction angle of soft soil increases with lower cohesive force, the constitutive property gradually weakened with the nature of transformation from cohesive soil to cohesionless soil. Mathematical characteristics for shear stress-strain curve of frozen-thawed soil are analyzed. Structure mechanism index is presented to indicate the relation between stress-strain curve and soil structure mechanism. The result of this paper is helpful to the numerical analysis and practical engineering design of frozen-thawed soil foundations. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: In order to study the evolution patterns of two-oriented society coordinated development, with the guidance of Scientific Development View, this paper proposed the research thinking of the evolution pattern of two-oriented society coordinated development, established the MSP evolution patterns structure model of two-oriented society coordinated development and created the model of comprehensive index, coordination degree, development degree and coordinated development index. Abstract: there are several platforms of wireless sensor networks such as micaz, mica2, etc. Each of them has specific characteristics. But the complexity of novel applications requires new characteristics, which more and more new designs of wireless sensor networks are needed. In this paper, the design of a sensor named Lacuna is proposed, which is a new sensor network platform implementing reliable detecting by taking real-time pictures. The paper presents a simplified model of wireless sensor networks (WSN) which is composed of the Lacuna sensors using IEEE 802.15.4 wireless technology. This model has been tested for many times and the model experimental results show that this system can run stably, reliably and efficiently. Stability, reliability, and efficiency are important because they make the operation robust to temporary disconnections or high packet loss. Due to the stability, reliability, and efficiency, the WSN transmits large amounts of continuous stable picture data messages to notebook when one of the nodes finishes taking a picture. Abstract: This paper aims to introduce a marine and typhoon meteorological information system based on WebGIS and rich internet application(RIA), which integrate many kinds of data of typhoon and weather information according to a spatio-temporal model. The application based on such a system has been launched on the web with the URL http://typhoon.weather.com.cn/. This paper discusses the targets and design framework of the system, and analyzes the key problem of spatio-temporal model application in the system. Based on this typhoon information system, users can search every typhoon''s information in Pacific costal region from 1949, such as monitoring data, forecast, satellite images, radar images, weather alerts, typhoon tracks, etc. The system has a lot of advantages compares to other similar systems, and it is fit for promotion as practical applications in other fields. Abstract: Understanding the integrality and organization of wetlands system (WS) is important for system-level water resources management and ecological protection. Yet too little research delved into to the whole status assessment of these connected aquatic systems. In this paper, ecological network analysis (ENA) is introduced as a powerful methodology to develop insights into the integrality of Baiyangdian WS. A 23-components steady-state WS model is built on basin macrohydrology in 1962. We investigate how 18 ENA indicators that characterize ecosystem growth, development, and condition are affected by 8 scenarios including (1) increased boundary input, (2) decreased boundary input, (3) increased boundary output, (4) decreased boundary output, (5) addition of new pathway, (6) removal of component, (7) addition of new component and (8) addition of both new pathway and new component. Furthermore, we use coefficient of variation (CV) to compare system indicators’ robustness to network changes. Scenario analyses demonstrate that following results regarding current network indicators: I. System indicators will response differently to different scenarios in different extent; II. Whole-indicators, such as Ascendency (A), are generally sensitive to network flow and topology changes; III. Ratio-based indicators and average mutual information (AMI) are basically with lower variability than non-ratio indicator. IV. Most of indictors present high sensitive to network topology changes even if there are few changes in total system throughput (TST). We hypothesize that WS are self-organized into a selective structure that exhibit certain criterion under favorable natural condition. This paper can promote the understanding of integrality of wetlands system and can be served as evidence supporting the need for wetlands policies that go beyond conservation of individual wetland sites. Abstract: This paper developed a new classifier named extension model of fuzzy matter-element to classify multi-source and multitemporal remote sensing data. Taking the National Nature Reserve of Ruoergai wetlands as study area, this paper chose the data of TM, CBERS and MODIS-NDVI of 2007 as data source and introduced the constructing process of this classifier. Results showed that, the overall accuracy (82.36%) and Kappa coefficient (0.8006) of the integrated of multi-information classification method is better than the SVM results using on TM(79.74%, 0.7704) and on CBERS (77.29%, 0.7436). This paper aims to provide a method of constructing and testing the accuracy of a three dimensional (3D) model for non-metric camera images using Agisoft PhotoScan to solve the problems regarding large investment, long processing periods and high technical difficulties. On the basis of data pre-processing, this software presents a way of orientating data, extracting point clouds, building Triangulated Irregular Networks (TIN), Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and producing Digital Orthophoto Maps (DOM). From these networks, a 3D model of the research area can be established. The experimental results show a highly precise 3D model can be rapidly established using this method. The construction time is shortened and the relevant investment required to produce the map is reduced. A pedestrian tracking system based on highly accurate laser scanners is an effective method for understanding the usage of the facility-spaces. However, it is difficult to apply them to the practical workplace, since horizontal laser scanners cannot detect workers while they are sitting. In this paper, a method for estimating the sitting-and-moving behavior and face-to-face communication of workers was proposed by utilizing the concept involving behavioral tags to trajectory data. Urban environments are complex dynamic systems whose prediction of the future states cannot exclusively rely on deterministic rules. Although several studies on urban growth were carried out using different modelling approaches, the measurement of uncertainties was commonly neglected in these studies. This paper investigates the effect of uncertainty in urban growth models by introducing a stochastic perturbation method. A cellular automaton is used to simulate predicted urban growth. The effect of stochastic perturbation is addressed by comparing series of urban growth simulations based on different degree of stochastic perturbation randomness with the original urban growth simulation, obtained with the sole cellular automata neighbouring effects. These simulations are evaluated using cell-to-cell location agreement and a number of spatial metrics. The model framework has been applied to the Ourthe river basin in Belgium. The results show that the accuracy of the model is increased by introducing a stochastic perturbation component with a limited degree of randomness, in the cellular automata urban growth model. Lifecycle events strongly influence the long term dynamics of activity-travel behavior. Moving house, as an example of a lifecycle event, triggers households to reconsider their activity-travel choices and possibly to adapt to the new house-job relationship. In turn, the decision to move house is a function of housing satisfaction, which depends on factors such as socio-demographic and economic characteristics of individuals, physical aspects of the dwellings, accessibility to different places in the city, etc. The main goal of this paper, which has been written as part of a project about residential mobility in Rotterdam, a metropolitan area in the Netherlands, is to understand some determinants of housing satisfaction. The model results represent the odds that a respondent with a particular profile is satisfied with his/her current housing situation. Differences in these odds are found to be associated with individuals’ profiles and housing characteristics. In general, these differences can be explained by household needs, constraints or preferences, which are strongly related to lifecycle phase. Satisfaction is found to decrease with increasing levels of urbanization, indicating that housing satisfaction is influenced by negative externalities such as pollution, congestion, noise, etc. Higher contact frequency with relatives, friends and club activities, has a positive effect on housing satisfaction. Abstract: During the last four decades, the research group led by Alessandro Santini, at the Department of Agriculture, University of Naples Federico II - Italy, has provided the scientific community with relevant contributions to various fields of hydraulic engineering for agriculture, irrigation and drainage, and agricultural water management. The research activity being carried out by the various units of this group involves the following major topics: [-] modeling and monitoring water use for irrigation; [-] soil hydrology; [-] solute transport in soil and reusing marginal water in irrigation. Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze preservation and capitalization of technical and industrial heritage in Romania. An ecosystemic approach to the heritage was used in order to study the interdependence between the quality of a monument building and the relation between the suppliers and recipients of services related to the heritage – with various functional models of towns. Thus, a classification was elaborated in order to establish the positive and negative aspects of behavior of urban metabolisms in terms of preservation and capitalization of technical and industrial heritage assets. For this purpose the most relevant case studies were selected to depict the different phases of urban regeneration projects (the cities of Bucharest, Timişoara, Călan, Reşita). The presence of a rich and diverse technical and industrial patrimony in Romania requires continuing the programs to preserve the industrial assets which have to be incorporated into economic policies for regional and national development and planning. Abstract: This paper describes a versatile stochastic daily weather generator (WeaGETS) for producing daily precipitation, maximum and minimum temperatures (Tmax and Tmin). The performance of WeaGETS is demonstrated with respect to the generation of precipitation, Tmax and Tmin for two Canadian meteorological stations. The results show that the widely used first-order Markov model is adequate for producing precipitation occurrence, but it underestimates the longest dry spell for dry station. The higher-order models have positive effects. The gamma distribution is consistently better than the exponential distribution at generating precipitation quantity. The conditional scheme is good at simulating Tmax and Tmin. The spectral correction approach built in WeaGETS successfully preserves the observed low-frequency variability and autocorrelation functions of precipitation and temperatures. Abstract: In this paper, which is based on the effect decomposition model of the emission of pollutants, the change of the industrial COD emission is researched, and a quantitative analysis is carried out for the scale effect, structure effect and technology effect of the industrial COD emission change. The driving factors and causes for this kind of change are identified and the contribution of the three kinds of effects on the pollution reduction is analyzed. The results show that the gradually increasing scale effect is a major factor causing increasing stress on the pollution reduction. The structure effect which is overall low indicates that the activities of optimization and adjustment for the industrial structure have no significant effect. The increment of the generalized technology effect is a main reason for the reduction of the pollution emission. Wherein, the upgrading of industrial technology and the development of scale economy make a great contribution to reduction of pollution. It is an important way to realize the target of pollution reduction by using clean technology effect to offset the new emission and reducing the stock with pollution control effect. Abstract: Understanding the space-time dynamics of pollutant transport remains an essential impediment to accurate prediction of impacts on the ecology of rivers and coastal areas and also for establishing efficient strategies for pollution control and environmental protection. Numerical models are a powerful tool to study the water flows and pollutant transport, and recently a new generation of models is being developed to simulate the coupled flow and pollutant transport in shallow water. In this paper, a two-dimensional fully-coupled model of shallow water flows and pollutant transport was developed using a triangular unstructured grid (TIN: triangular irregular network), which is also an important module of the PIHM-Hydro modeling system. The model is based on a cell-centered upwind finite volume method using the HLL approximate Riemann solver. A multidimensional linear reconstruction technique and multi-dimensional slope limiter was implemented to achieve a second-order spatial accuracy. In order to make the model efficient and stable, an explicit-implicit method was used in temporal discretization by an operator splitting technique. A test case of the pollutant transport in a square cavity is used to validate the model. Then the model was further applied to two pollutant transport scenarios: microscale pollutant transport following dam break and mesoscale pollutant transport driven by storm surge in Galveston Bay. The numerical results show that the model could accurately predict the flow dynamics and pollutant transport in extreme events such as a dam break and a storm surge. According to the prediction of the model, the storm surge caused by the Hurricane Ike significantly extended the polluted area. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: Risk assessment has been defined and designed in a wide array of disciplines to avoid or diminish potential detrimental impacts in the face of certain hazards. However, embedding ecology conception to environmental risk evaluation is quite a recent interest; in fact, it did not draw much attention for modelers and decision makers until the late 1980s. What is proposed in this paper is an information-based network environ model for ERA that is capable of multiple risk factor evaluations at different scales from population to ecosystem. Risk analysis and terminology, and modern perspectives of ERA are reviewed and discussed prior to the introduction of the system-oriented model, while quantum mechanics is made use of as rational metaphors where needed. Based on these insights, the conceptual framework of a holistic eco-risk model is developed based on the combination of network environ theory and systemic information theory, while the usefulness of the novel framework in coping with uncertainty is also addressed. We conclude that the way to handle an eco-risk scenario of a disturbed ecosystem should be updated through multi-dimension network consideration when searching into the whole status and dynamics of the ecosystem. Abstract: The paper investigates the predominant algal (Microcystis aeruginosa, Microcystis viridis, Microcystis ichthyoblabe, and Mirocystis wasenbergii) bloom, their transition behaviors and toxin produced as Microcystin-Leucine+Arginine (MC-LR), Microcystin-Arginine+Arginine (MC-RR) and Microcystin-Tyosine+Arginine (MC-YR) by cyanobacteria within the ecosystem of Lake Kasumigaura, Japan by using hydrodynamic ecosystem coupled model. Integrating the famous Monod functions’ concept the second mode of toxin production and Grover et al., 2011 river reservoirs toxin modeling theoretical notion assumes that the rate of toxin production by cyanobacteria depends on proportional to blue green algal composition and their abundance. Conceptualizing these two novel idea we have developed a three dimensional numerical model and to elucidate the structure of algal species and prediction of toxin production within the lake ecosystem. The simulation results compare the toxin (MC-LR, MC-RR and MC-YR) production of some stations in the Lake Kasumigaura with the observational data in the month of July, August and September for 2005, 2006 and 2007.The simulation result shows that there are some dominant species (Microcystis aeruginosa and Mycrocystis viridis are highly toxic) with regard to toxin produce in July, August and September in 2005. But in 2006 and 2007 there is no toxin produced by cyanobacteria (dominant species by Microcystis ichthyoblabe is toxic/nontoxic) in the ecosystem of Lake Kasumigaura. Because of timing and duration of the cyanobacteria bloom, making scum or colony and dying depends on the selecting parameters i.e. light intensity, temperature, water depth, wind direction, buoyancy and N: P ratio etc. But in some cases, toxin production depends on the Microcystis species toxic and non-toxic characteristics. The numerical modeling was calibrated by tuning toxin decay coefficient and other parameters for achieving a good agreement between the observations and the predictions. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: In this paper, a trust model based on real-time behavior detection scheme was proposed in P2P file-sharing system. It solved the problems in computing trust value only by past performances and choosing service nodes improperly. It took real-time behavior detection both in trust computing and service choosing, improving the accuracy of the trust value and the rationality in service nodes choosing. Abstract: The conventional approach for prestack modeling has been to use a two-way wave equation which unavoidably produces multiple reflections. In this paper, a modeling method based on the one-way wave equation is discussed. In the method, the receivers are assumed buried under the surface only recording primary reflected waves, and the recorded data are extrapolated upward in depth up to the surface. The scheme economically produces synthetic sections containing primary energy only. We perform the depth extrapolations using the split-step operator in the frequency domain, so to provide the synthetic data for evaluating some migration methods or velocity estimation schemes, we can compute a certain frequency band of the data, which would accelerate the algorithm greatly especially when dealing with 3-D data. Furthermore, the split-step operator is developed in terms of the Hartley transforms in place of the Fourier transforms, this leads to a more efficient and economical program. Abstract: Targeting at the new type data called gravity gradient, the basic formulae and equations of the global virtual line mass model and harmonic analysis are made in this paper. The virtual line mass models based on radius real component, horizontal complex component and full tensor are studied. So are the least squares solutions. The harmonic analysis formulae of virtual line mass models are shown completely, which have various advantages such as eliminating the disperse errors and dealing with multi-types data compared with virtual point mass harmonic analysis. With consideration of different depths, the virtual line mass method is better than the virtual point mass method with various frequencies. Abstract: The selection of flood regulation plan is a multi-objective decision making, with strong fuzziness and randomness. In this paper, through research, problems regarding flood regulation plan is analyzed, evaluation index system is created in order to use bargaining right, objective and subjective weight to determine the evaluated targets’ weight, with the help of fuzzy matter element model to give combined assessment to each candidate plan. It is proved that the method bears in mind the incompatibility and fuzziness of assessments and is able to assist decision executions comprehensively. Abstract: The ocean wave effect on the air-sea interaction is studied by numerical simulation tests and the sensitivity of a regional atmosphere-ocean coupled model to sea surface roughness parameterizations is also discussed in this paper. The results show that ocean waves influence the sea surface roughness. By considering the dependent relationship between sea surface roughness and wave age, the effect of ocean waves on air-sea interaction under high wind condition is significant and can not be ignored. The regional atmosphere-ocean coupled model shows good capability in simulating the typhoon processes which improves the simulation results of typhoon track and intensity. The coupled model is sensitive to sea surface roughness parameterizations. In these tests, the coupled model using the parameterizations of Smith and Liu gave better results. This study is helpful to make more reasonable parameterizations of the physical process of air-sea interaction and improve the regional atmosphere-ocean coupled models. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: Self-organized service chain formed by service agent can’t complete the scheduled collaborative target because of exceptions of service provider. This paper presents a service chain evolution model based on collaborative state. In the model, service collaborative relationship is modeled as a contract set, whose performance results are regarded as the result of service coordination state. And then the monitoring and evolution policies of collaborative process are established based on collaborative state. On this basis, a collaborative scenario-driven adaptive and self-evolutionary mechanism for service chain is established. Abstract: Air pollution in modern city is very important for people''s health and environment management. In order to improve air quality forecasting and air pollution simulation in China, this paper gives a method of analyzing and evaluating air pollutants ozone using the Community Multiscale Air Quality modeling system. The experiment results clearly show the time serious of ozone concentration at the given area and its spatial distribution at the given time. Abstract: Calculating flood based on rainfall is an important part of hydrological forecast. However, due to the diversity and complexity of factors affecting the relationship between rainfall and runoffs, using the perspective of mechanism to simulate the forming of flood through rainfall is often difficult. In this paper, flood forecast model is constructed based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Genetic Programming (GP), using actual data to mine the relationship among rainfall, pre rain and net rain, to avoid the flaws of constructing actual mathematical expression in advance, and automatically search for optimal structure. Abstract: The small wind generator is generally composed with permanent magnetism synchronic generator (PMSM) and other components, and the small wind generator is mainly employed to the single customer, hence it is important to keep the stability and the max power obtaining. The controller of it is only designed to adjust the generator and the current converter disregarding of the others. The controller for this purpose is presented in the paper and control theory is auto disturbance rejection controller (ARDC) which is a new control theory that doesn’t need the exact object model. The variation of load resistance is observed and estimated by an extended state observer, which is the core of the ADRC. So the nonlinear parts of the wind turbine can be considered as the disturbance which is estimated by an additional state. Abstract: For the earthquake disaster frequently happened in china, it is necessary to do some research about risk analysis of earthquake. The paper analyzed major factors of earthquake disaster firstly, established earthquake disaster risk assessment model with data of earthquake disaster between 1966 to 2010 and determinated the value of three factors quantitatively. Finally, taking Wenchuan earthquake region as an example, used the spatial analyst function of ArcMap system, analyzed the risk of population in earthquake disaster and created the population risk distribution map with a division of population high risk areas. Abstract: A model in power market for hydro-thermal-nuclear power system has been proposed in this paper. Nuclear units, hydropower units and coal-fired power units are considered to have the renewable energy best used. The model contains two sub-models: Model1 and Model2. Model1 is used to solve the problem of allocating hydro loads and thermal loads, while Model2 is used to solve the problem of optimal power dispatch within hydro units and coal-fired units. Abstract: In order to assess index weighted value scientifically, the matter element were introduced into the fuzzy weighted values to set up matter element model based on fuzzy weight. In this way, the model not only holds the merit of classical matter element, but also overcomes its limitations in practice. Referring to Chinese water quality standard, water quality degree of river is divided into 5 grades in this paper. Five indexes, namely DO, CODMn, BOD, NO3-N and Huifafen are selected as evaluation indexes. The model was applied to evaluate water quality of Jialing River and the results are in line with the actual. It showed that water quality of Jialing river is III in Nanchong,while the water quality of Xiaodukou is most serious. The proposed method is proved to be reasonable and reliable, and can be used in comprehensive evaluation problems of water quality. Abstract: This paper aims to use detailed modelling techniques and develop a database for assessing in a quick and easy way the energy performance of green roof designs across a range of Chinese climates. The focus is on heating and cooling loads by calculating indoor temperatures using the EnergyPlus simulation tool. The study covers 5328 configurations by varying model parameters such as location, climate, seasonal periods, glazing type, wall insulation levels, roof insulation, soil thickness and condition, and vegetation density characteristics. It was found from the results that green roofs can offer significant energy savings for heating and cooling loads if they are applied on roofs without insulation but only limited energy savings where heavy insulation on the roof is also applied. This database can prove to be a useful tool to the practitioners who want to perform rapid assessments of the potential energy savings that could be gained from a green roof installation in a Chinese location. Abstract: EIS (Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) is a powerful diagnostic testing method for fuel cells because it is non-destructive and provides some useful information about fuel cell performance. This paper will design fuel cells impedance on-line testing system by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and draw the complex impedance spectroscopy for Fuel Cell stack. Based on fuel cells impedance on-line testing system, complex impedance data in different frequency for Fuel Cell stack is sampled and saved, by automatic frequency scanning. Firstly, accomplishing curve fitting for fuel cells impedance data by nonlinear least square, secondly, accomplishing model parameter estimation, finally, the complex impedance spectroscopy for Fuel Cell stack will be drawn. The spectroscopy can reflect fuel cells impedance variation, and lay a foundation for monitoring the health status of fuel cells and improving the working efficiency of fuel cell stacks. Abstract: in this paper the cost of small reverse osmosis unit is discussed. Based on the analysis of energy consumption model we get the RO cost model which restricted by the operating conditions. Analysis the relation between independent and dependent variable use correlation analysis method in SPSS. The results show that the operating pressure, water flow, water concentration, inlet water temperature has the strong linear correlation with water flux, and also has the linear correlation with energy consumption. From the model that the change of operating conditions will cause dis- posal expenses change, Control the operation condition can realize energy consumption. Abstract: As the geometric rectification methods are mostly based on ground control points (GCPs), the geometric accuracy of remote sensing image usually fails to meet the demand in the area of lack of feature points. Straight-line features can be the supplement of GCPs. The advantages and disadvantages of ground control straight-lines (GCLs) used for geometric rectification were discussed in detail first. After introducing the conventional geometric correction methods based on points, this paper proposed a novel geometric correction method based on straight-line features, which is not confined to a specific imaging geometric model. Feature points and straight-line features can be united to estimate the geometric model. In the test, instead of merely using control points, the geometric accuracy of model was guaranteed by using control points together with control straight-lines in the region deficient in feature points. Abstract: Grid aims at sharing all kinds of geographically distributed and heterogeneous resources. The key to resource organization is how to accomplish the resource discovery efficiently. In this paper, a Layered Resource Discovery Model (LRDM) was proposed firstly according to different resource type in grid. Then the components of LRDM were analyzed and designed in detail with resource discovery module in Globus Tookit 4, mainly including resource description, resource information storage, resource information organization, resource request processing, and resource selection. Finally, the model was implemented and proved to have the characteristics high discovery efficiency and scalability because of combining the advantages of both centralized and distributed mechanisms. Abstract: Wetland, located in the terrestrial-aquatic transverse zone, is an important landscape and ecosystem. This paper describe the features and functions of wetlands, and take the case of lower reaches of the Yellow River wetlands, analysis on existing problems of ecological safety on wetland in lower reaches of the Yellow River. Using of GIS and two-dimensional water-sediment mathematical model of the Lower Yellow River, in accordance with the requirement of wetland areas, submerged areas for floods of below the 8000m3 /s magnitude designated as different functional areas. Abstract: Taking Maoershan experimental forest of Northeast Forestry University as the study area, and based on the ridge regression analysis as well as a small amount of field survey data and its corresponding remote sensing & GIS information, this paper has screened and optimized the remote sensing and GIS factors affecting the estimation of stand factors such as mean DBH and biomass, found out TM (4×3)/7, TM4/3 and altitude, etc. as the main estimation-affecting factors, established a regression estimation model of stand factors such as mean DBH and biomass by taking pixel as the basic element, and validated the accuracy of the model, thereby proving that the ridge regression estimation model can be used for quantitative estimation of regional forest stand factors. Abstract: It is key issue to predict the rainfall-runoff process on the Kuronagi River before the joint sediment flushing and sluicing of Dashidaira and Unazuki dams at the downstream of the Kurobe River. In this paper, the ArcGIS system is used to produce the digital basin of the Kuronagi River, the distributed Kinematic Wave hydrological model is used to calculate the rainfall-runoff process on the Kuronagi River, and the results are in good agreement with the observations. The results show that with the progress of rainfall observation techniques and computational methods, the development of digital land information and the effective application of GIS technology, a relatively simple rainfall-runoff model can get higher precision results. Abstract: In water treatment engineering, pH value is one of the most important parameters for optimizing experimental results. Because pH process has serious nonlinearity and delay, it is difficult to obtain effective control for conventional PID controllers without a precise mathematical model. According to the behavior of pH in the process of water treatment, a fuzzy control approach is proposed. The fuzzy controller is simulated with the actual data, and the simulation results demonstrate that the approach is efficient and feasible. In present paper, we construct a novel water treatment system based on microwave plasma technique and TiO2 photocatalytic technique. Experimental results show that the system can enable the value of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and heavy metal ions in water up to the Standards for Drinking Water Quality (GB5749-2006), also it can effectively reduce costs when the fuzzy controller is employed. Abstract: Quantitative estimation of surface and subsurface water flow to lakes is important for lake resources management. The calculation of water volume into lakes is also an essential step for estimation of pollutant loads to lakes. This paper presents a mathematical model for coupled simulation of surface and subsurface water flows for lake watersheds, with emphasis on the modelling of several important aspects including groundwater level-soil water storage-surface runoff relation, river-groundwater interactions and lake-watershed hydrological linkage, which are all fundamental for an integrated simulation of hydrological processes for lake watersheds. Field case studies were also given as examples to test the model''s suitability and capability. The model is grid-based spatially distributed to facilitate the discretisation of the high heterogeneity of land use types and soil properties.
