Abstract: This paper discuss role of cooperations in creating opportunities for using rich renewable energy sources and also their potential role for entrepreneurship and employment in Iran. The presence of constant, sustainable and economical energy is an essential basis for any economical and social development while it can upgrade life qualities. Iran has a considerable amount of natural resources for modernizing its energy supply and being transited to a sustainable energy system as it has countless opportunities for using rich renewable energy sources. On the other hand, cooperation have been considered as a strategic way to create job opportunities as they are strong organizations which can encounter economical and social side affects caused by quick moderating procedures in structural programs. Results show convergence between renewable sources development and Iran''s economical development through taking a frugal approach in expenses, creating new job opportunities and entrepreneurship in renewable energies. Abstract: The solar radiation received by earth surface is one of the most applicable parameter that is usable in hydrology, agriculture, climatology and meteorological modeling. Many different experimental equations had been suggested by researchers to estimate this parameter in different climates. In this paper, Meta-Heuristic Harmony Search Algorithm (HS) has been developed for determining the Angstrom equation coefficients, by using the daily solar radiation and daily sunshine duration data of Mashhad Synoptic station from 1993 to 2007 (4765 daily data). Also the Angstrom equation coefficients have been estimated for all the of them for test.Three statistical parameters Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Index of % of data used for train and 30%month. 70 agreement (d) and Mean Bias Error (MBE) have been used to estimate error and model validation. The results showed that, the value of RMSE, d and MBE for HS algorithm were 0.1265, 0.8323 and -0.0280, respectively. The value of Angstrom coefficients for Mashhad station in HS method is 0.4743 (for b coefficient) and 0.2657 (for a coefficient). The value of correlation in this method is obtained (R= 0.9047). Abstract: Considering the increasing role of microturbines in distributed generation of combined heat and power (CHP), the localization of microturbine design and manufacturing technology has received great importance in Iran. Providing a complete and comprehensive algorithm can be a major step in reaching the goal. In this paper, we present the cycle for the thermofluids design of a 100 KW microturbine which is carried out at the Niroo Research Institute of Iran to simultaneously generate both electricity and useful heat. The characteristics of this system are as follows: revolution speed of 47750rpm, single shaft, natural gas as fuel, single stage radial turbine/compressor and annular combustion chamber. Based on the thermodynamic characteristics of the cycle, the characteristics of different components of microturbine are determined throughout the study. According to the determined values, we expect the cycle to achieve an efficiency of approximately 13% without the recuperator and 25% with the recuperator. It must be noted that the designed microturbine is going through the final assembly stages at the time and the performance test has not been conducted yet. Therefore, the over-all characteristics curve of the system was not available at the time of preparing this article. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: Energy supply to Iran requires the substitution of an energy model based on fossil by one based on renewable energy sources. The building sector, about 40% of total annual energy consumption, has an important share in energy demand in Iran. Iran as a Middle Eastern country has recently begun to use renewable energies. Solar energy, because of its availability and large number of sunny days in this country, is mostly concentrated. In this paper vented thermal storage wall that is used for heating of Isfahan buildings, Central of IRAN, are studied. The heating loads for a residential building which has about 800m2 floor area at four floor are calculated. Then the vented thermal storage wall are designed and the amount of annual energy saving is calculated. It is shown that more than 60 percent of winter energy consumption will saved by using this system. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
