This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, board of commissioners, audit quality, profitability, leverage, and firm size on firm value. This research is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The population in this study was 73 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2021. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling method, the samples used were 25 companies with a total of 100 samples collected over four periods and 27 samples were used for outlier data so that the final sample used in this study was 73 research samples. The results of the research analysis show that managerial ownership and profitability affect firm value of the company. This study aims to determine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility and Good Corporate Governance as measured using the size of the board of commissioners, independent board of commissioners, and audit committee on company performance. This research is a quantitative type research, the sampling technique uses the purposive sampling method in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector which are listed on the IDX in 2019-2021. Samples that met the criteria were 23 companies with a total data of 69 for 3 years of research. This study used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 26 application. Tax avoidance is a business that is conducted legally by the company by utilizing existing loopholes in the tax regulations with the aim of minimizing or even avoiding tax payments. This research aimed to know and analyze the effect of political connections, fixed assets intensity, independent commissioners, profitability and leverage to tax avoidance. The method used is quantitative, where the data used is secondary data formed as financial statements of banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. The sample determination used purposive sampling, so obtained financial statements that meet the research criteria of 172 observations. The data analysis technique used multiple linier regression analysis. The research result showed that political connections, fixed assets intensity, profitability and leverage affected to the tax avoidance. While independent commissioners is not affected to the tax avoidance

This study investigates the effect of sharia firms on the cost of debt in the Indonesian market. We use OLS regression to examine the relationship by applying 1870 data observations of nonfinancial companies registered on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) during 2012–2018. We found that sharia firms are negatively related to the cost of debt, and sharia firms with a higher percentage of independent commissioners are not associated with the cost of debt. These findings indicate that a more significant number of independent commissioners sitting on the board will not stimulate a sharia firm’s position to get a lower cost of debt. Furthermore, our results are robust after performing the endogeneity test. Based on this study, we suggest that independent commissioners who represent aspects of governance also need to be developed using firm characteristics as other moderating variables. Sharia firms are viewed by lenders as having corporate behaviors that are ethical and worthy to get low interest on the debt. Even though the financial structure of sharia firms has lower leverage than non-sharia firms, it does not mean that they are seen as closed firms.

The Purpose of this research is to determine the role of profitability as a intervening between corporate governance on the disclosure of ISR in Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia in the 2014-2018 period. This research uses quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses secondary data in the form of panel data on companies registered in BUS for the 2014-2018 period. The population in this study is BUS in Indonesia during the 2014-2018 period. The sampling method is carried out by purposive sampling using several criteria to obtain 12 BUS used as research samples. The results of this study indicate that independent commissioners have an effect on ISR, while managerial ownership, audit committees, profitability have no effect on ISR. Managerial expertise, independent commissioners, and audit committees do not affect profitability. Path Analysis results show that profitability cannot mediate the effect of managerial ownership, independent commissioners, and audit committees on the disclosure of Islamic ocial reporting (ISR).

This research aims to examine the ownership on Islamic economic and the ownership stock effect on firm performance and the moderating influence of independent commissioner on the connection between ownership stock and firm performance. Indicator of ownership stock studied was the ownership stock of the president director in the company. The firm performance studied by the calculation of Price per Earning Ratio. Then, the intended independent commissioners are the percentage of independent commissioners who are on the company's board of commissioners.This research uses qualitaitive method based on Islamic economic literature and quantitative methods basedon secondary data. Secondary data in this research are the financial report from firms that take the floor on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This investigation uses a population that is listed firms on Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Subsequently, the sample is filtered using purposive sampling techniques with the criteria of listed firms on Indonesia Stock Exchange and has the data needed in this investigation. As a result, the samples obtained were 296 companies. This research uses regression analysis with individual parameter significant test (t-test).Hypothesis testing results indicate that Sharia company ownershipis in accordance with Islamic economic perspective studies, and ownership stock with the indicator of ownership of the president director has an impact on firm performance with Price per Earning Ratio’s indicator, and independent commissioners based on the proportion of independent commissioners on the board of commissioners moderate the correlation between ownership stock and firm performance. The disclosure of a company's social responsibility (CSR) showed how much the company has a motive for its environmental welfare; a company that has high responsibility prevents violations that have a negative impact on their environment, including tax evasion. This study aims to examine the effect of CSR disclosure on tax avoidance and test the GCG component, audit committee and independent commissioners in moderating the effect of CSR on tax avoidance. The study population was manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2015. Samples were obtained using a purposive sampling method with 108 samples. This research is quantitative research. The research test uses multiple regressions, such as goodness of fit test and hypothesis test. This study provides evidence that there is a positive influence between CSR on tax avoidance, besides that the audit committee as a moderating variable weakens the positive influence of CSR on tax avoidance, but independent commissioners are not proven as moderating variables between the effects of CSR towards tax avoidance.

This study aims to determine the role of independent Commissioners to control the effect of family-owned business characteristics on dividend policy. This study construct panel data that estimate using panel regression with a fixed-effect model. The model is estimated using financial data of 64 Indonesian manufacturing companies that were observed from the period 2016- 2018. The result showed that family-owned business characteristics have a positive effect on dividens. The Independent Commisioners were able to control the effect of family business characteristics on the dividend policy. The Independent Commissioners have a role in reducing the positive effect of family-owned businesses characteristics on dividends. This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, profitability, company size, board of directors, and independent commissioners on financial distress. The population of this research are all the textile and garment companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2013-2017 period.The sampling technique used the purposive sampling and obtained 10 companies or 50 samples. The analysis technique used in this research is logistic regression analysis. The result of the study; liquidity, profitability, company size, board of directors, and independent commissioners have a simultaneous effect on financial distress. Liquidity partially has a significant negative effect on financial distress, while board of directors partially has a significant positive effect on financial distress. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, dewan direksi, dan komisaris independen terhadap financial distress. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan subsektor tekstil dan garmen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2013-2017. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dan diperoleh 10 perusahaan atau 50 sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistik. The research objective to assess the influence of corporate governance and family ownership on firm value non-financial firms listed in Indonesia. The board and ownership structure were representing corporate governance characteristics. The board structure consists of commissioners, directors and independent commissioners, while the structure of ownership consists of institutional, public and managerial ownership. This research used data non-financial firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2008 to 2018. Using purposive sampling as technique’s to filter the samples and panel data analysis method. The results of research state that corporate governance (board and ownership structure) and family ownership simultaneously have a significant influence on firm value. Partially, independent commissioners, board of directors, public and institutional ownership have a significant influence on firm value. Meanwhile the board of commissioners, managerial and family ownership have no significant influence on firm value.

Pengaruh Profitabilitas, Dewan Komisaris, Komisaris Independen dan Risiko Idiosinkratis Terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh langsung profitabilitas, dewan komisaris, komisaris independen, dan risiko idiosinkratis terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan regresi data panel dengan model common effect. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap DPR, komisaris independen berpengaruh negatif terhadap DPR, sementara dewan komisaris dan risiko idiosinkratis tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap DPR. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of environmental performance, board size of commissioners, independent commissioners, and the board of commissioners meetings on environmental disclosure. The sample of this study was 81 mining companies participating in PROPER which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2018 period. Environmental disclosure was assessed with GRI-4 guidelines and data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that environmental performance and independent commissioners have no effect on environmental disclosure, on the other hand, the board size of commissioners and the board of commissioners meeting have an effect on environmental disclosure.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti secara empiris mengenai pengaruh kinerja lingkungan, ukuran dewan komisaris, komisaris independen dan rapat dewan komisaris terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 81 perusahaan pertambangan peserta PROPER yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2014-2018. Pengungkapan lingkungan dinilai dengan pedoman GRI-4 dan data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja lingkungan dan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan, disisi lain ukuran dewan komisaris dan rapat dewan komisaris berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan.

Begitu banyak penelitian terdahulu mengenai pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap kinerja keuangan menunjukkan hasil yang bervariasi . Hal ini menarik untuk menguji konsistensi hasil penelitian sebelumnya dan memperoleh bukti empiris ada tidaknya pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Semakin membaiknya sektor perbankan di picu pula dengan munculnya surat edaran Bank Indonesia tahun 2013 tentang pelaksanaan Good Corporate Governance dapat di asumsikan bahwa penerapan GCG dalam di sektor perbankan juga akan semakin baik, dan dapat disetarakan dengan GCG dalam ASEAN sehingga akan mendukung dalam implementasi MEA. Variabel bebas yang mewakili GCG adalah jumlah dewan direksi, ukuran dewan komisaris, komisaris independen dan ukuran perusahaan. Penelitian ini memilih periode penelitian 2012-2015 untuk melihat apakah perusahaan khususnya perbankan semakin siap dalam menghadapi MEA 2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jumlah Direksi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja keuangan perbankan. Dewan Komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja keuangan Perbankan. Sesuai dengan teori, komisaris independen dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perbankan.Many previous studies regarding the effect of Good Corporate Governance on financial performance have varied results. It is interesting to test the consistency of the results of previous studies and obtain empirical evidence whether or not the influence of Good Corporate Governance on Banking Financial Performance is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The improvement in the banking sector was also triggered by the emergence of the 2013 Bank Indonesia circular letter regarding the implementation of Good Corporate Governance. It can be assumed that the implementation of GCG in the banking sector will also be better, and can be balanced with GCG in ASEAN so that it will support MEA implementation. The independent variable representing GCG is the number of board of directors, the size of the board of commissioners, independent commissioners and company size. This study chose the 2012-2015 research period to see whether companies, especially banks, were better prepared to face the 2015 MEA. The results of the study showed that the number of Directors did not affect banking financial performance. The Board of Commissioners has no effect on Banking financial performance. In accordance with the theory, independent commissioners and company size influence the financial performance of banks.

Introduction: This study aims to determine the effect of insider ownership, audit committees, leverage, firm size, the number of independent commissioner on the performance of manufacturing firms in the Indonesian stock exchange. Methods: The type of data used in this research is quantitative data. This study uses a tool to answer the hypothesis in the form of multiple linear regression. The number of samples taken by the sampling technique as many as 50 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Results: From the test results indicate that there is insider ownership, audit committees, leverage significant positive effect on the performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. firm size and the number of independent commissioners no significant positive effect on the performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Conclusion and suggestion: The implication of these findings is that insider ownership, audit committees, and leverage it will be able to produce a good performance. Although firm size and the number of independent commissioners has no effect, but still must be considered, because if the firm size and the number of independent commissioners are not in accordance with the provisions of SFAS may result in the presence of certain interests that are not in accordance with the company's goals.

This study aimed to demonstrate empirically the influence of independent board, institutional ownership, profitability and leverage against tax avoidance in the service sector companies in the Stock Exchange 2012- 2014. The theory used in this research is the theory of the Agency (Agency Theory), Theory of Compliance and Accounting Theory Positive. The population used in this study are all companies listed on the Stock Exchange the period of 2012- 2014 as many as 268 companies. The samples in this study using the purposive sampling method. The data collection is done by dokumentasi. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results this research showed that the independent board have negatively affect the profitability of tax avoidance. Institutional ownership variable and leverage have positive effect on tax avoidance.

The purpose of this study is to find empirical evidence whether corporate governance mechanisms (ownership structure, independent commissioners, and audit committee characteristics) affect the level of voluntary disclosure of Internet Financial Reporting (IFR). Populations used in this study are all of 420 Indonesian companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period of 2010. The sample of this research is determined using purposive sampling method. There are 95 companies fulfill the criteria. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The result indicates that among corporate governance mechanisms, only audit committee meeting frequencies influence voluntary disclosure of IFR.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dampak dari mekanisme good corporate governance (yang diproksikan oleh kepemilikan institusional, komisaris independen dan kepemilikan managerial) pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan metode sampling judgement. Kriteri dalam menentukan sampel adalah apakah perusahaan perbankan tersebut terdaftar pada bursa efek jakarta dari tahun 2007-2009 dan apakah perusahaan tersebut secara konsisten mempublikasikan laporan keuangan yang sudah diaudit selama masa penelitian. Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling, ada 28 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel komisionaris independen berefek negatif pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini meneunjukkan bukti empiris bahwa proporsi komisionaris independent perusahaan hanyalah suatu formalitas yang digunakan untuk memenuhi aturan. Sehingga fungsi kontrol yang seharusnya menjadi tanggung jawab komisionaris menjadi tidak efektif. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan kinerja perusahaan menurun.This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance mechanisms (which is proxied by institutional ownership, independent commissioners, and managerial ownership) of the company’s financial performance. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the judgment sampling method. Whether the banking companies are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period of 2007 - 2009 and whether the companies consistently publishes their audited financial statements during the study period are the criteria in determining the samples too. Based on the purposive sampling method, there are 28 companies that meet the above criteria. The results of study indicate that only partially independent commissioner variables negatively affect the company’s financial performance (ROI). The results are perform that the proportion of the company’s independent commissioner is merely a formality. It is used to meet the regulation only so that supervisory functions that should be the responsibility of commissioners is ineffective. Then, as a result the company’s performance will decline

Agresivitas pajak perusahaan adalah tindakan yang dirancang untuk mengurangi penghasilan kena pajak dengan melakukan perencanaan pajak, baik secara legal maupun ilegal. Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh likuiditas, leverage, komisaris independen dan manajemen laba dalam mempengaruhi agresivitas pajak. Effective tax rate (ETR) dan cash effective tax rate (CETR) digunakan untuk mengukur agresivitas pajak. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tahun 2006-2010. Berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling, diperoleh 39 sampel. Regresi panel data digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis gagal menemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara likuiditas dengan agresivitas pajak. Komisaris independen memiliki hubungan yang negatif dengan agresivitas pajak, tetapi leverage dan manajemen laba memiliki hubungan positif dengan agresivitas pajak. Tax aggressive is the action designed to reduce taxable income with appropriate tax plan, which can be legal or illegal. This study investigate what extent of liquidity, leverage, independent commissioners and earning management affect corporate tax aggressiveness. Effective tax rate (ETR) and cash effective tax rate (CETR) is used to measure tax aggressiveness. Examination was conducted for manufacturing firms which registered in Indonesian Stock Exchange for year 2006-2010. Based on purposive sampling technique, it gets 39 samples. Panel data regression are used to test the hypothesis. The result of the hypothesis failed to find significant association between liquidity and tax aggressiveness. Independent commissioners has negative relation with tax aggressiveness, but leverage and earning management has positive relation with tax aggressiveness.
