Journal of high energy physics 08(8), 093 (2022). doi:10.1007/JHEP08(2022)093, We study the direct-detection rate for axial-vectorial dark matter scattering off nuclei in an SU(2) × U(1) invariant effective theory and compare it against the LHC reach. Current constraints from direct detection experiments are already bounding the mediator mass to be well into the TeV range for WIMP-like scenarios. This motivates a consistent and systematic exploration of the parameter space to map out possible regions where the rates could be suppressed. We do indeed find such regions and proceed to construct consistent UV models that generate the relevant effective theory. We then discuss the corresponding constraints from both collider and direct-detection experiments on the same parameter space. Physical review / D 97(7), 075002 (2018). doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.97.075002, We present a comprehensive analysis of top-philic Majorana dark matter that interacts via a colored t-channel mediator. Despite the simplicity of the model -- introducing three parameters only -- it provides an extremely rich phenomenology allowing to accommodate the relic density for a large range of coupling strengths spanning over six orders of magnitude. This model features all exceptional mechanisms for dark matter freeze-out, including the recently discovered conversion-driven freeze-out mode, with interesting signatures of long-lived colored particles at colliders. We constrain the cosmologically allowed parameter space with current experimental limits from direct, indirect and collider searches, with special emphasis on light dark matter below the top mass. In particular, we explore the interplay between limits from Xenon1T, Fermi-LAT and AMS-02 as well as limits from stop, monojet and Higgs invisible decay searches at the LHC. We find that several blind spots for light dark matter evade current constraints. The region in parameter space where the relic density is set by the mechanism of conversion-driven freeze-out can be conclusively tested by R-hadron searches at the LHC with 300 fb$^{-1}$., Published by APS, Woodbury, NY

The recently observed excess in diphoton events at around 750\,GeV can be satisfactorily described in terms of a new spin-0 real singlet with effective interactions to the gauge bosons. In this letter we first review the current constraints on this setup. We further explore the production in association with a gauge boson. We show the potential of this channel to unravel current flat directions in the allowed parameter space. We then study the potential of two different asymmetries for disentangling the CP nature of such a singlet in both gluon fusion and vector-boson fusion. For this matter, we perform an estimation of the efficiency for selecting signal and background events in eight different decay modes, namely $4\ell, 2j\, 2\ell, 2j\ell\,E_T^\text{miss}, 2\gamma\,2j, 4\ell\,2j, 2\ell\,\gamma\,2j, 4j\,2\ell$ and $4j\,\ell\,E_T^\text{miss}$. We emphasize that the very different couplings of this new singlet to the Standard Model particles as well as the larger mass provide a distinctive phenomenology with respect to Higgs searches. We finally show that a large region of the parameter space region could be tested within the current LHC run, the dominant channel being $2\gamma\, 2j$., Comment: 9 pages, 11 figures.
