In the bachelor thesis there is evaluated the financial health of the company PRAMOS a. s., whose aim is to get a loan to finance an investment in a new hall. The main aim of this work is to evaluate the overall financial situation of the company and to propose recommendations to improve the situation in the areas on which the banks as the lender are focused the most. In the theoretical part of the thesis, firstly there are introduced methods how to evaluate the financial health of the company. Secondly, the method of financial analysis is chosen and specified for the evaluation of the financial health. In the practical part of the thesis the theoretical knowledge is used for financial analysis. Based on received results the recommendations are made. These suggestions can improve the financial situation of the company which is in the position of the loan applicant.

This bachelor thesis aims to evaluate the financial health of a business activity and financial health of the company Porsche Inter Auto CZ spol. s r. o. for the years from 2010 to 2015 using the methods of financial analysis. The content of this thesis is divided into two parts, that are depended on each other. The first of them will explain the procedure and evaluation methods, together with an important theoretical basis. The second part is focused on mentioned company, its current financial status is going to be evaluated, and compares Porsche Inter Auto CZ with the sector of the automotive industry in the Czech Republic where it will be useful. In conclusion, there are summarized results of the analysis, and a formulated SWOT analysis for Porsche Inter Auto CZ spol. s r. o. in which were emphasized new opportunities and economic threats for the enterprise.

This diploma thesis deals with credibility models and bankruptcy models as tools for evaluating financial health of company. The aim of this work is an evaluation of credibility models and bankruptcy models. The evaluation is focused on suitability, reliability and predictive ability for use the models in Czech environment. The main body of work constitutes a case study containing an application of eight models on Czech engineering company.The case study is supplemented with professional studies evaluating explanatory power of some models. On the basis of studies' results, the comparison of models was done and were identified their strengths and weaknesses.

The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the limitations and possibilities of using selected financial health models and bankruptcy prediction models in a selected group of companies. In the first part of this work, famous financial health models and bankruptcy prediction models are introduced and described in detail. Among the most important models belong the Altman Z Score, Index IN, Quick test by Kralicek, Grünwald's model etc. In the practical part, selected models are applied to specific enterprises and their evaluation results. The result of the bankruptcy and solvency models is one single final coefficient, which serves as the basis for labelling the enterprise either as solvent or bankrupted. As great advantages of these models could be mentioned their universality, simplicity, inexpensiveness and the fact they are not very time consuming. Still there are certain limitations to the data validity. The three enterprises analysed in 2011 were evaluated as bankrupted according to the models yet are still in operation at present time. It follows that the models only describe the particular financial situation but do not predict bankruptcy. Next, it was also discovered that it is not possible to use only one model for the evaluation of the complex situation of an enterprise, it is necessary to be concerned with the non-financial performance indicators as well. All assumed limitations of the models and possibilities of their usage have been, based on the analysis, confirmed.

Title: The implications of bankruptcy and creditworthy business models for sports clubs Goals: On the basis of bankruptcy and creditworthy business models to determine from the two following football clubs AC Sparta Prague Football, Inc. and FC Viktoria Pilsen, Inc. the danger of bankruptcy or teak creditworthiness and to prove or disprove whether the poor financial structuring of the clubs affects its results in league standings. In the case of a looming bankruptcy or of weak creditworthiness to suggest workable solutions to reverse these effects. Methods: For the prediction of a possible bankruptcy, three bankruptcy models were used - the Altman Model, the Taffler Model and the Springate Model. For determining the financial status of the business, concretely its creditworthiness, two creditworthy business models were used - the Kralick quick test and the Index of creditworthiness. Suggestions for these proposed solutions to the problems are presented in the technical literature. Results: The implications of using the bankruptcy models demonstrated that AC Sparta Prague Football, Inc. is threatened by a bankruptcy as opposed to FC Victoria Pilsen, Inc. which is rated as a stable business. The subject of this bachelor thesis is financial analysis of the company Petrof, spol. s.r.o. The main aim of thesis is to evaluate economic performance and financial health of the company in years 2011-2014. The thesis is devided into two main parts- theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the methods and financial ratios used by financial analysis. In the practical part of the thesis, the analysed company is introduced and financial analysis is carried out by application of the financial ratios described in the theoretical part. In conclusion there are summarized findings and presents final evaluation of the company.

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is in phase one to test which of the well-established financial standing or bankruptcy models is able to predict most reliably insolvency for firms safeguarding vehicles. Secondary task is to apply chosen models onto data from company, that doesn´t show signs of financial crisis at glance.

This thesis deals with selected credit scoring and bankruptcy models and their ability to pre-dict financial problems in a company. Among the models included in the paper are the Altman bankruptcy model Z - Score, Index of credibility of the Neumaier (IN95, IN05) Taffler mod-el, Kralicek Quick test, Grünwald creditworthiness model. The methodological part focuses on the detailed description of each individual model. The practical part includes a customised application of the models on the selected breweries and subsequent assessment of the ability of the models to predict financial distress.

The main aim of the master thesis is to compare of different methodologies of financial health models and bankruptcy prediction models and their cause to company classification. The work deals with the applicability of models on the sample of 45 prosperous companies and 45 companies that were initiating in insolvency process. Sample contain about 33 % companies from building industry, 33 % retail, 16,7 % manufacturing industry and 16,7 % of the other industries mainly services. The special kind of contingency table - the confusion matrix - is used in the methodology to calculate sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive, false positive rate, accuracy, error and other classification statistics. Overall model accuracy is obtained as a difference between accuracy and error. Dependencies of models are acquired based on Pearson´s correlation coefficient. The changes (removing of grey zone and testing new cut-off points) in models are tested in the sensitivity analysis. In practise part there are about 12 financial models calculated (Altman Z´, Altman Z´´, Index IN99, IN01 and IN05, Kralicek Quicktest, Zmijewski model, Taffler model and its modification, Index Creditworthiness, Grunwald Site Index, Doucha´s Analysis). Only two financial indicators (ROA and Sales / Assets) in results were important as crucial part for more than one model. Then are classifications of companies in models determined. It shows that the best models according to overall accuracy are Zmijewski and Altman´s Z´´. On the other hand the worst models are index IN99 and both versions of Taffler´s model. The classification is not caused excessively by extreme values, year of the model creation or country of the origin (hypothesis 1). Based on results it is suggested that the bankruptcy prediction is an accurate forecaster of failure up to three years prior to bankruptcy in most examined models (hypothesis 2). It is observed that the type of model and industry influence the classification of models. In the end, the changes based on sensitivity analysis in the worst companies are made. All of three changes have increased overall classification accuracy of models.

Title: The ice- hockey teams financial comparison Targets: The aim of this thesis is to compare the financial results of the Czech ice-hockey professional clubs during time period. Methods There were applied the basic financial and analytical tools - bankruptcy and credibility models which are able to show the current financial power of the monitored clubs. Results: Results of the used bankruptcy and credibility models shows that a lot of the top Czech ice-hockey professional clubs are facing the serious financial issues, even some of them are threatened of the bankruptcy. The first methodical part describes subject, sources, users and methodology of financial analysis -- methodology of horizontal and vertical analysis of statements, ratios and used bankruptcy and creditworthy models. The second practical part process horizontal and vertical analysis of company's balance sheet and income statement. The aim of this work is to apply individual bankruptcy and credibility models and to undergo these results to a mutual confrontation as well as to evaluate the explanatory power and suitability of using aggregates. In the diploma thesis we are examining possibilities of utilization of financial standing models and bankruptcy models for the purpose of prediction of financial distress of a company. We start the analysis with a broad description of methods provided by financial analyses used for prediction of the financial distress, followed by a more particular investigation into the problematics of financial standing and bankruptcy models. In the thesis we aim to define 9 of these models including their variations followed by application onto four companies in the time scale of five years up front the incoming financial distress. Whilst applying the models we will have a closer look at the discrepancies coming from the different nature of the predictive formulas, meanwhile observing how the key changes in financial statements transfer into the scores. Moreover, we will try to point out the key elements causing deformation in the relevance of the models. In the conclusion we will summarize the findings and confront the assumptions.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the travel agency INVIA.CZ, a. s. in period of 2007-2010 from the view of an external user. There is given basic information about the financial analysis in the theoretical part, its users and sources that are used. Further the theoretical part consists of some methods which are consequently applied in the practical part. There is information about the company and its branch at the beginning of this part. The financial situation of the company is evaluated by balance sheet rules, horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio indicators, economic value added and bankruptcy and standing models.

This paper deals with the financial analysis, introduces the users and sources of accounting information and outlines the issues of regulation, standardisation and harmonisation. The example of Klein&Blažek Company is used for the practical application of the financial analysis. The earlier introduced theory is applied there and the results are evaluated. It has come out that Klein&Blažek Company has a good position at the market. It is a corporation in a stability phase of the business life cycle. This paper has rejected the hypothesis about the fall of the liquidity in this company during the last financial crisis.

The main objective of this Bachelor's Thesis is to evaluate the current financial situation of the company TOS Varnsdorf, a.s. and the prediction of further development of the company by using outcomes from financial analysis and evaluation of creditworthy and bankruptcy models, including one rating model.
