To optimize and simplify the survey method ofA quadrate experimental field was selected as the subject of 50 m×50 m size in Chayegang marshland near Henghu farm in the Poyang Lake region and a whole-covered method was adopted to survey the snails. The simple random sampling, systematic sampling and stratified random sampling methods were applied to calculate the minimum sample size, relative sampling error and absolute sampling error.The minimum sample sizes of the simple random sampling, systematic sampling and stratified random sampling methods were 300, 300 and 225, respectively. The relative sampling errors of three methods were all less than 15%. The absolute sampling errors were 0.221 7, 0.302 4 and 0.047 8, respectively.The spatial stratified sampling with altitude as the stratum variable is an efficient approach of lower cost and higher precision for the snail survey.

To explore the sample unit size effects of spatial pattern ofThe push-broom method was performed to survey the snails in the study site in a basic unit size of 0.33 m×0.33 m in Poyang Lake region of Jiangxi Province. After combining different amount of survey cells, the aggregation indicators, regression models and aggregating factor index were employed to study the spatial distribution pattern.The snail population was in aggregation pattern and the smaller sampling unit could produce higher degrees of aggregation. The regression models showed that the snails distributed in the form of individual groups with attraction with each other and the aggregation was related with the snail density. The clustering factor index demonstrated that the aggregation was introduced by aggregating behavior habit of the snails and environmental factors, or only by snail habit itself, and the aggregating habit of snails could be expressed better by the smaller sampling unit.The spatial pattern of［

To improve diagnosis of asthma, we tend to confirm potential biomarkers by comparing sputum metabolome profiles between asthma patients and healthy controls, using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to quadruple time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-QTOF/MS). Thirty endogenous metabolites contributing to the separation of asthma patients and healthy controls were tentatively identified in positive mode, such as 1-hexadecanoyl-sn-glycerol, glycerol 1-stearate, sphingosine, Phe-Ser, Tyr-Ala and Phe-Gln, and 12 endogenous metabolites were identified in negative mode, such as cytidine 2',3'-cyclic phosphate, 1-hexadecanoyl-2-(9Z-octadecenoyl)-sn-glycero-3-phospho-(1'-rac-glycerol), 1-octadecanoyl-2-(9Z-octadecenoyl)-sn-glycero-3-phosphoserine, thymidine, gamma-L-glutamyl-L-valine and adenine. Those differential metabolites were mainly participatedin glycerophospholipid metabolism, retrograde endocannabinoid signaling and metabolic pathways in positive mode and 2-oxocarboxylic acid metabolism, biosynthesis of amino acids, phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan biosynthesis, valine, leucine and isoleucine degradation and metabolic pathways in negative mode. Importantly, several metabolic pathways including glycerophospholipid metabolism, inositol phosphate metabolism, and glycolysis or gluconeogenesis were found most important. These findings suggest sputum metabolomics can be used for the early diagnosis and risk prediction of asthma.

We investigate the thermal entanglement in the Lipkin—Meshkov—Glick (LMG) model which consists of spin-1/2 particles with XXZ-type exchange interactions between any pair of them. The ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) cases are completely analyzed at both finite temperature and zero temperature. According to the results obtained by accurate numerical calculation, several interesting physic phenomena and characteristics of thermal entanglement in the LMG model are found. Not only do we evaluate the entanglement of the LMG model, but also discover the correlations between macroscopic physical quantities and thermal entanglement.

The paper introduced a kind of partial discharge (PD) measuring system for high voltage cables and its application in Beijing. The PD Check developed by TechImp Co. realized the separation and identification of discharge pulse. Whole pulses was taken in using a high-speed broad band sampling system at first, then discharge pulses were separated from noises by character which was calculated from pulses, and discharge types were ascertained at last. Tests in lab and fieldwork show that this system can effectively and accurately detect insulation flaws in the electric devices.

Accurate measurements of the binding energy spectrum and momentum distribution of argon are performed using the high resolution (ΔE = 1.4 eV, Δp = 0.1 a.u.) energy multichannel (e, 2e) spectrometer (θ1 = θ2 = 45°, = 0°-±30°) built recently in our laboratory. Detailed satellite structure of argon has been observed. Good agreement can be found between the experimental data and the theoretical calculations performed using Hartree-Fock method with the different basis sets and configuration interaction method.

We demonstrate a high-efficiency continuous-wave Tm:YAG ceramic laser pumped with a Ti:sapphire laser. An output power up to 860 mW is obtained under an absorbed pump power of 2.21 W at 785nm, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 42.1% and optical to optical efficiency of 22%. The measured central wavelength is 2012 nm.

Lasers from a Tm:YAG ceramic aare reported for the first time to our best knowledge. The Tm:YAG ceramic slab is end-pumped by a laser diode with central wavelength 792nm. At room temperature, the maximum continuous-wave output power is 4.5 W, and the sloping efficiency is obtained to be 20.5%. The laser spectrum of the Tm:YAG ceramic is centered at 2015nm.
