Web based distribution of multimedia digital content has been accelerated due to the increase in the use of the Internet. The major issue regarding the design of a multimedia digital content distribution system through the web is to guarantee the security of digital content and to supply a large amount of high quality multimedia digital content to users. This study focused on designing a security technique for each group in a multilayered structure, and on a caching technique, which is based on this security technique, and to improve the user's response speed. Using these techniques guarantees the security of digital content distribution. We implemented the prototype and verified the performance of the proposed system through testing.

The use of cache to store and process web objects has increased, and studies on effective web caching have been actively conducted. A processing unit of web caching contains web objects, and changes in the heterogeneity of these web objects and their reference characteristics become a major factor of decreased performance in the existing method. This study proposes ACASH, a new web caching method. ACASH manages a cache scope by dividing it based on the heterogeneity of web objects. Also, it adaptively reflects changes in the reference characteristics of the object according to the time elapsed. In addition, it is shown in an experimental model, which captures the heterogeneity of the object that the proposed method performs better than the existing method.

Necessity of the service-on-demand that reflect a personal characteristic of a customer was increased by an aggravation of web service competition. So a study on a customization is being performed actively. The common customization system supporting of the personalization is performed through the computational data like individual characteristic or preference. Various studies on the service that used emotional information were performed. But we can`t use this emotional information in the web system because of characteristics of emotional information system In this study, we design the adaptive customization system that used emotional information of the customer and analyse the system by experiments.

Information security is becoming a more important factor in distribution of digital contents. Generally, illegal facsimile of high-quality multimedia products such as DVDs, MP3s and AACs is possible without damaging quality. Thus, the illegal distribution of duplicated contents on the Web is causing digital content providers great economic loss. Therefore, a study of security and efficient distribution of digital contents is required. The most important issues in the design of a digital content distribution system are user convenience, execution speed and security. In this study, we designed a digital contents distribution system that uses web caching technology and encryption/ decryption techniques in hierarchical structures. We propose a digital content distribution system that improves user convenience, security and execution speed. The superior performance of the proposed system has been proven in the tests. The results of experiment show that the developed system has improved the security of DC without decreasing process speed.

Generally, the overloaded server problem and the rapidly increased network traffic problem are happened in a center concentrated multimedia digital content service. Recently, a study about the CDN which is a digital content transmission technology to solve these problems are performed actively. In this study, we proposed the SDCDS which improved a process latency time and a security performance on a digital content delivery and management. The goal of the SDCDS is the digital content security and the improvement of the processing time. For that, we have to design the security and the caching method considering the architecture characteristics of the CDN. In the SDCDS, the public key encryption method is designed by considering the architecture characteristics of CDN. And we improved the processing latency time by improved the caching method which uses the grouped caching method on the encrypted DC and the general DC. And in the experiment, we veryfy the performance of the proposed system.

The e-learning system uses multimedia content for efficiency of a education and learner`s convenience. With the web based e-learning, various multimedia services are difficult on account of physical factors such as network state and system performance. Also on the off line based e-learning, we have defects an insufficiency of interactions among learners and instructors, and an insufficiency of an adaptation about the latest information. In this study, we designed a multi-tier e-learning system using hybrid multimedia method, The proposed system can provide interaction and adaptability such as web based systems, and it can provide various multimedia content such as off line based systems. In experiments results, we know the proposed system improved users` convenience and an adaptability about the latest information, and interactions among learners and instructors when compare with existing e-learning system.

The importance of electronic commerce system has been growing rapidly due to development of information technology and acceleration of enterprise e-business. Electronic commerce system must provide convenient interface, easy and fast searching function, and product information satisfied customer`s. A study about the system that used a reasoning technique and an Agent technology for this is required. In this paper, we designs electronic commerce system with customer preference and sales agent which is composed of case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning for high customer satisfaction. Also, we were shown on an appropriateness of a proposal system by an experiment.

As development of the e-commerce, the distributing network for a logistics currency is more complicated. A management of the distributing network (DN) is important factor in distribution planning. The DN can be expressed to distribution center (DC) and the interaction of DC. An internal factor of DC and an external factor to occur by an interaction of DC have many influences on the DN. Therefore, for an efficient DN management plan, analysis of the DN that considered DC and an interaction of DC is required. Until now a study on a viewpoint of supply chain management as resources assignment was performed, but the study on analysis of the distribution network was not performed. This paper propose the distribution network analysis technique that considered DC and an interaction of DC. A proposed technique consists of two steps largely. First of all a DN is expressed with the graph that included an interaction of DC and DC. It uses a reachibility tree, and the following, a DN expressed with a graph is analyzed. Also we presented an example model, and show an usefulness of proposal technique with the analysis of this model.

As it increase electronic commerce user rapidly, it is necessary to study on Improvement of performance for electronic commerce system. This paper suggests electronic commerce system using functionally distributed structure based on multi-agent and evaluate it`s performance using prototype. In the suggested system, we use multi-agent using combined reasoning to offer a proper commodity information and meet the customer`s requirement. And we can reduce load of the electronic commerce system with distribute agents both main server system and local server system functionally. In experiment result, we can confirm suggested electronic commerce system can prevent customer`s unexpected long waiting causes by network traffic and server load, and can improve efficiency.

We have many difficult problems to efficient development and management of a Web-based education system because of the various requirements of various demanders. A Web-based education system consists of instructors and operation managers of system and learners. Those three factors are the most important e]ements of a Web-based education system and we must consider those elements for design and development. In constructivist approach. acquiring knowledge is made by experiences among each members or elements. So we can say that the constructivist elements of a Web-based education system is learners and instructors, operation managers. In this study, we design and implement a Web-based education system, based on the interactions of extended demanders of Web-based education system in constructivist approach and object oriented modeling. In this study we can improve portability and reduce cost because of platform independence from presented system. And in experiment, we compare and analyse two platform web-based education system a point of effectiveness, cost, convenience.

Web services are based on a web-based system in which the performance of this system becomes a major factor in determining the quality of services.An improvement in the system performance can be achieved using a typeof load uniformity (hereinafter called load balancing) by producing a cluster system using several server systems from a web service provider's point of view. In addition, certain frequently used web objects or objects that will be frequently applied during web caching from a web service user's point of view are to be closely related to a nearby web server in clients. This study investigates a method that improves the acceleration performance in a web-based service. A method that distributes loads applied to a web system itself using a dynamic load balancing method, which uses various types of information between nearby servers, was investigated from a web service provider's point of view.

The key features of mobile agent systems are mobility, autonomy, and intelligence. On integrity protection within mobile agent technology, mobile agent integrity should be protected against attacks from malicious hosts and other agents. In this paper, we design flexible Mobile Agents (FMA). The traditional mobile agents consist of fixed code parts. But FMA consist of flexibly upgradeable agent code part for that new agent code modules can be added and redundant code modules can be deleted on the executing requirement. FMA prove to be more flexible in agent-based web systems compared to the traditional static-type mobile agent.

This paper proposes a hybrid mobile multimedia game content using a hybrid method. The proposed method can share linked materials in real-time between these methods and presents an effective solution for various limitations caused by the memory capacity of mobile terminals in the planning and production processes of Multi media game content. In addition, this method presents a real performance by applying it to the production of an actual mobile multimedia game.

In this study, an e-commerce system with the capability of web cache based on the split area in a hierarchical structure is designed. The performance is then assessed through experiment. The local server for the proposed system is a duplicated server for the e-commerce system. The advantage of location improves the latency time. The system's response speed is also improved due to dispersion of the entire systems load. The performances of the system and algorithm are analyzed with an experiment. With these experiment results, the algorithm is compared with previous replacement algorithms.

Until now, various web caching replacement algorithms related to this were researched. An aggravation of web object heterogeneity more frequently generates a replacement of a web object, but cannot reflect enough all kinds of characteristics of web object in these traditional replacement techniques. Especially size heterogeneity of an object has an influence on performance of a web caching seriously. Therefore, a study on web caching algorithm with size heterogeneity of an object is required. In this study, we proposed a web object replacement algorithm with heterogeneity of a web object for performance improvement of the response speed. The algorithm is designed with a divided scope that considered size reference characteristic and reduced size heterogeneity on web object. The performance of the algorithm is analyzed with an experiment. With the experiments results, the algorithm is compared with previous replacement algorithms, and its performance is confirmed with 10%-20% elevation of object-hit ratio and an improvement of response speed.

A web caching technology, which analyzes and reflects the reference characteristics of users, is required to effectively operate an electronic commerce system, because the reference characteristics of web objects becomes a major factor in decreasing the performance of an electronic commerce system. Therefore, it is necessary to study the increase in the performance of web caching based on the probability distribution of the object reference characteristics in order to increase the performance of an electronic commerce system. This paper proposes a web caching method based on the probability distribution of the object reference.

For effectively facing information security threats under rapidly changing information-oriented environment, we need intelligent measuring the information security level of the whole enterprise organization. Most of the evaluation systems have performed evaluation with an emphasis on information security products so far. However, evaluating information security level for an enterprise needs analysis of the whole enterprise organization, and a synthetic and systematic evaluation system based on it. This study has tried to grasp the information security level of the whole enterprise organization, and develop an evaluation system of information security level for suggesting a more developing direction of information security with an intelligent agent.

In this study, we designed a digital contents distribution system based on the public key techniques in hierarchical web caching structures. The superior performance of the proposed system has been proven in the experimental tests. The results of experiment show that the supposed system improved the security of DC without decreasing process speed and improved user convenience.
