Previous studies have reported on associations between immobility syndrome and the COVID-19 pandemic. However, little is known about the aggravation of this syndrome in older patients negative for COVID-19 infection amidst behavior restriction due to a clustered COVID-19 infection. Patients hospitalized one month before a clustered COVID-19 infection occurred in our hospital were recruited. Rehabilitation therapy was suspended for 25 days during behavior restriction. The ability of daily living of the patients was evaluated with the functional independence measure and Barthel index. Chronological changes in the functional independence measure and Barthel index scores were evaluated monthly, beginning one month before the clustered COVID-19 infection to one month after re-initiation of rehabilitation therapy. Patients with minimum scores in the functional independence measure (18) and Barthel index (0) prior to the clustered COVID-19 infection were excluded. Functional independence measure scores of 73 older patients and the Barthel index scores of 48 patients were analyzed. The mean total functional independence measure score amidst the behavior restriction significantly changed from 36.3 to 35.1 (p = 0.019), while statistical significance was not detected in the mean motor subtotal (from 21.6 to 20.9 with p = 0.247) or cognitive subtotal functional independence measure scores (from 14.6 to 14.2 with p = 0.478). During the behavior restriction, the mean Barthel index scores declined from 25.8 to 23.2 without statistical significance (p = 0.059). Behavior restriction due to a clustered COVID-19 infection may aggravate immobility syndrome in older patients who are negative for COVID-19.

Body talk is how people talk with others about their bodies, classified into three types based on its content: negative fat talk, negative muscle talk, and positive body talk. Negative fat talk is complaining about being fat or losing weight. Negative muscle talk is discussing the desire or the obligation to build muscles. Positive body talk is conversations about accepting or affirming the body and eating habits (Lin et al., 2021). Studies have suggested that negative fat talk is positively associated, whereas positive body talk is negatively associated with body fat dissatisfaction, especially among women (Arroyo et al., 2022; Lin et al., 2021; Takamura et al., 2019). However, previous studies did not indicate the causality between these variables. This longitudinal study plans to investigate the causal relationships between these two types of body talk and body dissatisfaction using a questionnaire to evaluate the participants’ subjective body dissatisfaction and the discrepancy between the ideal and actual body image. The study also plans to examine whether negative fat talk and positive body talk moderate the association between exposure to thin-ideal images on the Internet and body dissatisfaction. Research has suggested that exposure to ideal images, including peers or celebrities, on the Internet, is associated with body dissatisfaction (Rounsefell et al., 2019). Fardouly and Vartanian (2015) suggested that engaging in Facebook photo activities was associated with body dissatisfaction due to comparing own body shape with others. This study will examine whether negative fat talk can increase the association between exposure to thin-ideal images on the Internet and body fat dissatisfaction, whereas positive body talk can decrease this association for reasons described in the Hypotheses section. A previous study of men and women indicated that negative muscle talk is associated with increased maladaptive muscle gain behaviors and dissatisfaction regarding body size and shape (Lin et al., 2021; Sladek et al., 2014), suggesting that people who engage in negative muscle talk have internalized an athletic body shape. However, previous studies have not extensively studied the influence of negative muscle talk. Therefore, the current study plans to use a longitudinal design to examine the effect of negative muscle talk. This study will investigate the longitudinal associations among the variables described above in female university students because the desire to be thin is a problem observed mainly in young Japanese women (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, 2019). However, the current study also explores the effects of the study variables on male students.

Response inhibition and attentional inhibition are subcomponents of inhibition (Tiego, Testa, Bellgrove, Pantelis, & Whittle, 2018). Response inhibition deficits are known to be positively associated with trait rumination (Hasegawa, Matsumoto, Yamashita, Tanaka, Kawaguchi, & Yamamoto, 2022a; Hasegawa, Somatori, Nishimura, Hattori, & Kunisato, 2021; Shimony, Einav, Bonne, Jordan, Van Vleet, & Nahum, 2021). Also, this association is mediated by increases in aggressive behaviors and negative interpersonal events (Hasegawa et al., 2022a). On the other hand, attentional inhibition deficits are not significantly associated with rumination (Hasegawa et al., 2022a; Nishimura, Hasegawa, Nishiguchi, Tabuchi, Matsumoto, Masuyama, Oi, Fukui, Oikawa, Tanno, & Mochizuki, 2022), or negatively associated with trait rumination (Altamirano, Miyake, & Whitmer, 2010). These findings suggest the functions and distinctions of the subcomponents of inhibition and why some people tend to ruminate. However, a previous study comparing the association of response inhibition and attentional inhibition with rumination had the limitation of assessing subcomponents of inhibition through individual task performances rather than latent variables (Hasegawa et al., 2022a). In addition, although previous studies have indicated that the relationship between response inhibition deficits and rumination might be mediated by stress generation (Hasegawa et al., 2021, 2022a), these studies did not use a measure to specifically assess negative event categories in the context of stress generation. Therefore, the current study will examine differences in the association with rumination between latent variables of response inhibition and attentional inhibition. Before the primary analyses, this study plan to explore a model assuming that inhibition is divided into two subcomponents because the classification of inhibition and executive function, which is the higher-level construct of inhibition, is still being debated (Friedman & Miyake, 2004, 2017; Rey-Mermet, Gade, & Oberauer, 2018; Tiego et al., 2018). In addition, this study will examine the assumed indirect association between response inhibition deficits and trait rumination via aggressive behaviors and negative interpersonal dependent events using a measure for specifically assessing event categories in the context of stress generation.

An online survey examining the psychological effects of non-coercive lockdown (mild lockdown) under the declaration of a state of emergency in Japan. Data were collected from 11333 people, mainly on psychological distress, depression, stressors and coping. A longitudinal study will be conducted in the future.

Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is an isolated type of lymphoma of the central nervous system and has a dismal prognosis despite intensive chemotherapy. Recent genomic analyses have identified highly recurrent mutations of MYD88 and CD79B in immunocompetent PCNSL, whereas LMP1 activation is commonly observed in Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-positive PCNSL. However, a lack of clinically representative preclinical models has hampered our understanding of the pathogenic mechanisms by which genetic aberrations drive PCNSL disease phenotypes. Here, we establish a panel of 12 orthotopic, patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models from both immunocompetent and EBV-positive PCNSL and secondary CNSL biopsy specimens. PDXs faithfully retained their phenotypic, metabolic, and genetic features, with 100% concordance of MYD88 and CD79B mutations present in PCNSL in immunocompetent patients. These models revealed a convergent functional dependency upon a deregulated RelA/p65-hexokinase 2 signaling axis, codriven by either mutated MYD88/CD79B or LMP1 with Pin1 overactivation in immunocompetent PCNSL and EBV-positive PCNSL, respectively. Notably, distinct molecular alterations used by immunocompetent and EBV-positive PCNSL converged to deregulate RelA/p65 expression and to drive glycolysis, which is critical for intracerebral tumor progression and FDG-PET imaging characteristics. Genetic and pharmacologic inhibition of this key signaling axis potently suppressed PCNSL growth in vitro and in vivo. These patient-derived models offer a platform for predicting clinical chemotherapeutics efficacy and provide critical insights into PCNSL pathogenic mechanisms, accelerating therapeutic discovery for this aggressive disease. SIGNIFICANCE: A set of clinically relevant CNSL xenografts identifies a hyperactive RelA/p65-hexokinase 2 signaling axis as a driver of progression and potential therapeutic target for treatment and provides a foundational preclinical platform. Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder associated with various etiologies and characterized by deficits in social interaction, emotional reciprocity, communication, motor skills and cognitive functions. Studies have proposed that limited levels of physical activity and late motor skills and fitness, particularly in children and adolescents with ASD, may accentuate social and emotional deficits. In view of this, exergames, which are active video-games, can be considered a low-cost and safe type of exercise for children and adolescents with ASD, since they are more enjoyable than ordinary physical activities, influencing on treatment adherence. Thus, our study aims to evidence the effects of exergames on physical fitness, cognitive functions, and repetitive behaviors in children and adolescents with ASD. Despite the small number of studies investigating the effects of exergames as new strategy in children and adolescents with ASD, results suggest exergames as potential tool for the treatment of children and adolescents with ASD for improvement in physical fitness, cognitive functions and repetitive behavior. Our review pointed towards the importance of exergames for children and adolescents with ASD. Despite few studies conducted about this issue, we can consider exergames a potential tool to increase physical fitness, cognitive functions and to decrease repetitive behavior in children and adolescents with ASD. Moreover, health professionals should be careful when attempting to help this population, because the current literature is unclear yet about the improvement of ASD features through exergames.

A 70-year-old woman was diagnosed with bladder cancer (muscle invasive adenocarcinoma) via transurethral resection of bladder tumor in 2013. A month after the procedure, she underwent total cystectomy and ileal conduit diversion. Histopathological diagnosis was adenocarcinoma pTis pN0. In 2019, a computed tomography showed multiple nodules, each up to 1 cm in diameter, mainly in the right lower lobe. Metastatic lung cancer was suspected. She underwent thorascopic partial resection of the right lung, and was diagnosed with primary pulmonary cryptococcosis.

Background: Nonconvulsive status epilepticus (NCSE) is induced by common neurosurgical conditions, for example, trauma, stroke, tumors, and surgical interventions in the brain. The aggressiveness of the treatment for NCSE depends on its neurological prognosis. Aphasic status epilepticus (ASE) is a subtype of focal NCSE without consciousness impairment. The impact of ASE on neurological prognosis is poorly documented. We describe a case of postoperative ASE resulting in verbal and memory deficits. Case Description: A 54-year-old, right-handed man with focal impaired awareness seizures underwent partial resection for a left temporal lobe tumor. No neurological deficits were observed immediately after surgery. Three days later, however, a focal to bilateral tonic-clonic seizure (FBTCS) occurred, followed by aphasia. Electroencephalography revealed 1.5 Hz left-sided periodic discharges. He was diagnosed with ASE. Multiple anti-seizure drugs were ineffective for the resolution of the patient’s verbal disturbance. Nine days after the FBTCS, deep sedation with intravenous anesthetics was performed and the ASE stopped. Thereafter, his symptoms gradually improved. However, the prolonged ASE resulted in verbal and memory deficits. Automated hippocampal volumetry revealed an approximate decrease of 20% on the diseased side on magnetic resonance imaging 3 months after surgery. Conclusion: Prolonged ASE can induce verbal and memory deficits. Early intervention with intravenous anesthetics is required to obtain a favorable neurological prognosis.

An individual therapeutic strategy based on the genetic characterization is important in gliomas. However, it has been difficult to obtain genetic features during surgery. In this study, we present an overview of intraoperative genetic analysis using modified real-time PCR method. The tumor specimen was crushed with liquid nitrogen, then extract DNA within 60 minutes. Reagents of real-time PCR for detecting IDH, TERT, and BRAF hot spot mutations were stocked and real-time PCR was performed after mixing the extracted DNA. We used PNA and LNA to detect single nucleotide variant (SNV). The average time from tumor extraction to intraoperative tentative judgement was approximately 100 minutes. Using this system. we preliminary performed intraoperative genomic analysis in10 glioma patients. We confirmed that 8 of 10 cases (80%) of intraoperative genomic diagnosis were consistent with post-operative diagnosis by Sanger sequencing. However, we experienced 2 (20%) unmatched cases due to low allele of SNV, which indicates that more advanced system is required for clinical application.

Glioblastoma is the most common and devastating type of malignant brain tumor. We recently found that eribulin suppresses glioma growth in vitro and in vivo and that eribulin is efficiently transferred into mouse brain tumors at a high concentration. Eribulin is a non‐taxane microtubule inhibitor approved for breast cancer and liposarcoma. Cells arrested in M‐phase by chemotherapeutic agents such as microtubule inhibitors are highly sensitive to radiation‐induced DNA damage. Several recent case reports have demonstrated the clinical benefits of eribulin combined with radiation therapy for metastatic brain tumors. In this study, we investigated the efficacy of a combined eribulin and radiation treatment on human glioblastoma cells. The glioblastoma cell lines U87MG, U251MG and U118MG, and SJ28 cells, a patient‐derived sphere culture cell line, were used to determine the radiosensitizing effect of eribulin using western blotting, flow cytometry and clonogenic assay. Subcutaneous and intracerebral glioma xenografts were generated in mice to assess the efficacy of the combined treatment. The combination of eribulin and radiation enhanced DNA damage in vitro. The clonogenic assay of U87MG demonstrated the radiosensitizing effect of eribulin. The concomitant eribulin and radiation treatment significantly prolonged the survival of mice harboring intracerebral glioma xenografts compared with eribulin or radiation alone (P < .0001). In addition, maintenance administration of eribulin after the concomitant treatment further controlled brain tumor growth. Aberrant microvasculature was decreased in these tumors. Concomitant treatment with eribulin and radiation followed by maintenance administration of eribulin may serve as a novel therapeutic strategy for glioblastomas.

In the current article, we provide in vitro efficacy evaluation of a unique accelerator-based neutron source, constructed at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (Novosibirsk, Russian Federation), for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), which is particularly effective in the case of invasive cancers. U251MG, CHO-K1 and V79 cells were incubated and irradiated in various concentrations of boric acid with epithermal neutrons for 2–3 h in a plexiglass phantom, using 2.0 MeV proton energy and 1.5–3.0 mA proton current, resulting in a neutron fluence of 2.16 × 1012 cm−2. The survival curves of cells loaded with boron were normalized to those irradiated without boron (to exclude the influence of the fast neutron and gamma dose components) and fit to the linear–quadratic (LQ) model. Colony formation assays showed the following cell survival rates (means ± SDs): CHO-K1: 0.348 ± 0.069 (10 ppm), 0.058 ± 0.017 (20 ppm), 0.018 ± 0.005 (40 ppm); V79: 0.476 ± 0.160 (10 ppm), 0.346 ± 0.053 (20 ppm), 0.078 ± 0.015 (40 ppm); and U251MG: 0.311 ± 0.061 (10 ppm), 0.131 ± 0.022 (20 ppm), 0.020 ± 0.010 (40 ppm). The difference between treated cells and controls was significant in all cases (P < 0.01) and confirmed that the neutron source and irradiation regimen were sufficient for control over cell colony formation. We believe our study will serve as a model for ongoing in vitro experiments on neutron capture therapy to advance in this area for further development of accelerator-based BNCT into the clinical phase.

Introduction. Trapezoid fractures are uncommon in sports. We presented a rare case of a trapezoid fracture associated with a scaphoid fracture caused by punching a ball in a football goalkeeper. Case Presentation. A 19-year-old male who played as a football goalkeeper visited our hospital with complaints of sustained pain from the right wrist to the hand after punching a ball. Scaphoid fracture was diagnosed on plain radiographs, whereas trapezoid fracture was overlooked. Computed tomography revealed a displaced trapezoid fracture associated with a scaphoid fracture. Both fractures were successfully treated by open reduction and internal fixation using cannulated screws. Almost complete bone union was achieved at 5 months after surgery. The patient returned to play as a football goalkeeper. Conclusion. The simultaneous occurrence of trapezoid and scaphoid fractures has never been reported. Trapezoid fractures are rare and can be overlooked on plain radiographs, as what happened in the present case, because the trapezoid is small and overlaps with other carpal bones on plain radiographs. If there is sustained pain in the wrist and hand after punching, combined trapezoid and scaphoid fractures should be considered as the possible injury.

Physical exercise is seen as the main ally for health promotion, preventing and protecting the organism from several diseases. According to WHO, there is a tendency of constant growth in the elderly population in the coming years. The regular practice of exercises by the elderly becomes relevant to minimize the deleterious effects of the aging process and to increase the fitness index. Recently, the world population started a confrontation against Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19), which is the most significant public health challenge globally. Although social isolation is a reasonable measure in an attempt to stop contamination by COVID-19, this measure has limited the ability of individuals to exercise outdoors or in gyms and health clubs, which increased the risk of developing chronic illnesses related to a sedentary lifestyle. The critical point is that the recent recommendations on exercise prescription to combat the potentially harmful effects of COVID-19 failure to adequately address resistance exercise interventions as home-based exercise strategy. Thus, in this paper, we discussed the physical exercise as medicine if the training status is enough to protect the elderly against COVID-19 infection, about the role of physical activity on immunosuppression. Possible risks for COVID-19 infection, and the old training methods, such as no-load resistance training as possible resistance exercise strategies and high-intensity interval training, as new proposals of home-based exercise interventions, could perform during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: Carmustine (BCNU) wafer (Gliadel® Wafer) implantation after tumor resection is an approved treatment for high-grade glioma (HGG). These wafers change various characteristics on early postoperative magnetic resonance imaging (ep-MRI) including slight expansion of high-intensity areas on T2-weighted imaging (ep-T2-HIAs) into adjacent parenchyma without restricted diffusivity. We assessed the frequency of the ep-T2-HIAs after BCNU wafer implantation in HGG patients. Moreover, we focused on ep-T2-HIA expansion and its relation to delayed cerebral edema. Methods: Twenty-five consecutive HGG patients who underwent BCNU wafer implantation were assessed. First, patients were divided into ep-T2-HIA and non-ep-T2-HIA groups, and the incidence of delayed adverse effects was compared between the two groups. Subsequently, the patients were divided into delayed edema and non-delayed edema groups, and pre-, intra-, and postoperative data were compared between the two groups. Results: The ep-T2-HIA expansion and the delayed edema were evident in 9 cases (36%) and 12 cases (48%), respectively. In comparison of the ep-T2-HIA and non-ep-T2-HIA groups, delayed edema was the only delayed adverse effect associated with ep-T2-HIA expansion (P = 0.004). Univariate analysis showed a significantly higher ratio of delayed edema in the subgroups with maximal diameter of removed cavity ≤40 mm (P = 0.047) and the ep-T2-HIA expansion in comparison of the delayed edema and non-delayed edema groups. Multivariate analysis showed that the ep-T2-HIA expansion was the only independent factor associated with delayed edema (P = 0.021). Conclusion: In BCNU wafer implantation cases, ep-T2-HIA expansion was a predictive factor for delayed cerebral edema.

We evaluated the feasibility of 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA)-mediated photodynamic diagnosis (PDD) in the biopsy for primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL). 5-ALA (20 mg kg−1) was administered orally 4 hours preoperatively. Forty-one biopsies obtained under PDD in 47 consecutive biopsies (46 patients) that were finally pathologically diagnosed as PCNSL were evaluated. Positive fluorescence was observed in 34 of those 41 biopsies (82.9%). An intraoperative pathological diagnosis (IOD) of suspected PCNSL was made in 21 of the biopsies with positive fluorescence (61.8%). However, the eight IODs in the remaining 13 biopsies (23.5%) were not correct (atypical cell, 4; high-grade glioma, 1; gliosis, 1; unremarkable, 2). In those 8 biopsies, PCNSL was confirmed by the final pathological diagnosis. There was no difference in the mean Mib-1 labeling index between the biopsies with positive fluorescence (86.5%) and those without positive fluorescence (90.0%). IOD was not performed in 6 biopsies; however, 5 of those biopsies (83.3%) showed positive fluorescence and were finally pathologically diagnosed as PCNSL. Use of PDD in biopsies for patients with suspected PCNSL is a reliable way of obtaining specimens of adequate quality for the final pathological diagnosis and may lead to improved diagnostic yield in the biopsy of PCNSL.

本研究では， 科学系博物館における視覚・聴覚障害者の学習を支援する学習活動， 鑑賞支援， 教 材， 個人用展示解説機器といった博物館学習支援について， その現状を調査・分析することを目的 とする． 質問紙を用いた調査結果の分析を行い， それぞれの観点から現在の科学系博物館における 博物館学習支援の多様性，十分性について明らかにする．また，館種別に配慮の度合いを比較し，その特徴について考察する．

Carmustine (BCNU) implants (Gliadel(®) Wafer, Eisai Inc., New Jersey, USA) for the treatment of malignant gliomas (MGs) were shown to enhance overall survival in comparison to placebo in controlled clinical trials in the United States and Europe. A prospective, multicenter phase I/II study involving Japanese patients with MGs was performed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of BCNU implants. The study enrolled 16 patients with newly diagnosed MGs and 8 patients with recurrent MGs. After the insertion of BCNU implants (8 sheets maximum, 61.6 mg BCNU) into the removal cavity, various chemotherapies (including temozolomide) and radiotherapies were applied. After placement, overall and progression-free survival rates and whole blood BCNU levels were evaluated. In patients with newly diagnosed MGs, the overall survival rates at 12 months and 24 months were 100.0% and 68.8%, and the progression-free survival rate at 12 months was 62.5%. In patients with recurrent MGs, the progression-free survival rate at 6 months was 37.5%. There were no grade 4 or higher adverse events noted due to BCNU implants, and grade 3 events were observed in 5 of 24 patients (20.8%). Whole blood BCNU levels reached a peak of 19.4 ng/mL approximately 3 hours after insertion, which was lower than 1/600 of the peak BCNU level recorded after intravenous injections. These levels decreased to less than the detection limit (2.00 ng/mL) after 24 hours. The results of this study involving Japanese patients are comparable to those of previous studies in the United States and Europe.

This is a report of EDUCAUSE 2011 annual conference held in Philadelphia. Effective use of information technology was discussed from many points of view by participants from broad areas including IT department staff, chief information officers, and librarians. There were three general sessions in the conference, and this report shortly describes each of them. Building good collaborative relationship between IT staff and librarians was one of the themes set in EDUCAUSE, which also makes this conference worth some attention for Japanese librarians.

In this report, we propose a new polyborate fragment synthesis strategy along the whole chain of the polysaccharide hyaluronic acid (HA) to produce boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) compounds. Under high pressure and deformatory solid-state conditions, polymolecular system formation takes place due to association of phase-specific transition components into a more or less distinct microscopic organization. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy shows that HA and polyborates form a network of cyclic polychelate complexes. HA acts as a multidentate ligand using carboxylic and hydroxyl proton donor groups to link oxygen atoms in B–O–B bonds and borate-anions B–O(−): O–H···O, O–H···(−)O. With free electron pairs in heteroatoms –O(:)···B, –N(:)···B, HA can act simultaneously as an electron donor. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) with 13C and 1H reveals a preserved complex interaction after both solubilizing and attenuating the HA-polyborate system. Stability of the product in water, low cost, ease of synthesis and scalability of manufacturing indicate that HA-polyborate complexes might have advantages over current chemotherapeutic approaches in creating therapeutic agents for BNCT.

We propose a novel method for multiple clustering, which is useful for analysis of high-dimensional data containing heterogeneous types of features. Our method is based on nonparametric Bayesian mixture models in which features are automatically partitioned (into views) for each clustering solution. This feature partition works as feature selection for a particular clustering solution, which screens out irrelevant features. To make our method applicable to high-dimensional data, a co-clustering structure is newly introduced for each view. Further, the outstanding novelty of our method is that we simultaneously model different distribution families, such as Gaussian, Poisson, and multinomial distributions in each cluster block, which widens areas of application to real data. We apply the proposed method to synthetic and real data, and show that our method outperforms other multiple clustering methods both in recovering true cluster structures and in computation time. Finally, we apply our method to a depression dataset with no true cluster structure available, from which useful inferences are drawn about possible clustering structures of the data.

Probing and modeling of surface polarization phenomena originating from dipoles and electrons in organic materials are studied. We use an electrical measurement that can directly probe orientational dipolar motion in monolayers by Maxwell Displacement Current, and show that a two-dimensional domain shape is dependent on electrostatic energy stored in the domain owing to the polar orientational alignment of permanent dipoles. Also, we demonstrate a novel optical second harmonic generation technique that allows carrier motion in active layers of organic field-effect transistors to be directly probed as the migration of electric field. We conclude that probing of electric field generated from moving charged particles, e.g., dipoles and electrons, at the interface is a common concept for studying dielectric polarization and its related two-dimensional interfacial phenomena in organic materials.

Author name is an important access point for academic information. But academic information systems do not always control the author name. Above all, the format of author names varies from system to system. We must resolve this problem to develop an institutional repository (NAGOYA Repository). Our plan is to develop a system of resolving author name in order to connect systems with one another. This resolution system links existing systems via author name with minimum customization. This paper describes our approach, outline of the system and the remaining issues.

This paper describes the development of a data convertion tool. It aims to simplify data converting processes, which consist of reading data, converting data, filtering data, and outputting the resulting data. Every phase of converting data can be easily customized by writing plug-in modules with simple rules.

This article shows an example of original implementation of OAI-PMH data provider. The script is written in PHP scripting language and can work on any ordinary web server, and support plain text metadata files. It can also be easily extended to support RDB and any data source.
