MEMS suspended inductors are susceptible to deformation under external forces, which can lead to the degradation of their electrical properties. The mechanical response of the inductor to a shock load is usually solved by a numerical method, such as the finite element method (FEM). In this paper, the transfer matrix method of linear multibody system (MSTMM) is used to solve the problem. The natural frequencies and mode shapes of the system are obtained first, then the dynamic response by modal superposition. The time and position of the maximum displacement response and the maximum Von Mises stress are determined theoretically and independently of the shock. Furthermore, the effects of shock amplitude and frequency on the response are discussed. These MSTMM results agree well with those determined using the FEM. We achieved an accurate analysis of the mechanical behaviors of the MEMS inductor under shock load.

To alleviate the complex construction process of traditional concrete filled steel tube (CFST) column-foundation connections, the anchor rebar column-foundation connection (ARCFC) has been conceived and investigated. To date, the thin-walled steel tube is recommended to be used considering it economic benefits. However, the confinement provided by the thin-walled steel tube is found to be insufficient as bulges of steel tube and concrete are observed. In this paper, carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) is adopted in the potential plastic hinge region to prevent the local buckling of steel tube. Nine specimens were designed and tested to failure under combined constant axial load and reversed cyclic lateral load. The investigated parameters are the number of CFRP layers and the diameter-to-thickness of steel tube. Experimental results revealed that bulges of steel tube and concrete were observed for ARCFCs with a diameter-to-thickness ratio of steel tube over 120. CFRP could effectively prevent the bulges of steel tube and concrete. All the ARCFCs have excellent energy dissipation capacity and the ductility coefficient is larger than 4.55. A finite element model (FEM) is developed to conduct a parametric study, based on which the sectional strength model is suggested.

Accurate height and distribution of blast furnace burden is essential to improve coke-ore ratio, improve gas flow and reduce CO 2 emission. However, conventional burden distribution measure method by mechanical sounding rod can only measure 2 or 3 fixed discontinues burden height information. This article uses a light field imaging system to estimate blast furnace burden distribution. At first, the light field camera is used to obtain 4D image of the burden surface, light position and angle information is utilized to refocus to obtain focal stack images. Then the depth of burden surface is obtained by finding out the refocused image to target depth based on laplacian operator. At last, the whole burden surface is reconstructed in Csharp/emgu platform to extract burden surface distribution and radial burden distribution.

The anchor rebar column-foundation connection (SAC) has been proposed for the concrete filled steel tube (CFST) column. To enhance the load transfer between the steel tube and concrete, shear hoop rings or perfobond strips (PBLs) could be used, forming the SAC-H and SAC-P, respectively. Anchor rebars could be directly welded onto the surface of steel tube (SAC-W) to transfer the axial load. To date, experimental studies have been conducted to investigate the seismic performance of the four novel types of column-foundation connections. To facilitate the application of the proposed connections, design methods are explored and proposed in this paper. A test database is assembled first, followed by the development of the finite element model (FEM). On the basis of a parametric study, design methods for the sectional strength and elastic stiffness are proposed.

Capturing the three-dimensional (3D) shape of the burden surface of a blast furnace (BF) in real-time with high accuracy is crucial for improving gas flow distribution, optimizing coke operation, and stabilizing BF operation. However, it is difficult to perform 3D shape measurement of the burden surface in real-time during the ironmaking process because of the high-temperature, high-dust, and lightless enclosed environment inside the BF. To solve this problem, a real-time 3D measurement system is developed in this study by combining an industrial endoscope with a virtual multi-head camera array 3D reconstruction method. First, images of the original burden surface are captured using a purpose-built industrial endoscope. Second, a novel micro-pixel luminance polarization method is proposed and applied to compensate for the heavy noise in the backlit images due to high dust levels and poor light in the enclosed environment. Third, to extract depth information, a multifeature-based depth key frame classifier is designed to filter out images with high levels of clarity and displacement. Finally, a 3D shape burden surface reconstruction method based on a virtual multi-head camera array is proposed for capturing the real-time 3D shape of the burden surface in an operational BF. The results of an industrial experiment illustrate that the proposed method can measure the 3D shape of the entire burden surface and provide reliable burden surface shape information for BF control.

Ieodomycin B, which shows in vitro antimicrobial activity, was isolated from a marine Bacillus species. A novel asymmetric total synthetic approach to ieodomycin B using commercially available geraniol was achieved. The approach involves the generation of 1,3-trans-dihydroxyl at C-3 and C-5 positions via a Crimmins-modified Evans aldol reaction and a chelation-controlled Mukaiyama aldol reaction of a p-methoxybenzyl-protected aldehyde, as well as the generation of a lactone ring in a deprotection-lactonization one-pot reaction.

The C19-C23 fragment (9) of the anti-trypanosomal natural product actinoallolide A was prepared via an elegant stereo-controlled route. We installed the chiral center at C20 through a standard Evans aldol reaction, and protected the secondary hydroxyl group via a silylanization. Introduction Human African Trypanosomiasis and American Trypanosomiasis are serious diseases affecting human health [1-2]. Several months ago, Masato Iwatsuki and coworkers isolated actinoallolide A-E from endogenous strains Actinoallomurus fulvus MK10-036 [3]. These novel natural products showed prominent activity against trypanosomiasis combined with a low toxicity compared with other clinic drug molecules [4-5]. Particularly, actinoallolide A was promising to become the lead cmpound of trypanosomiasis and its related diseases. Limited by low natural content, further biological testing and research of actinoallolide family was encumbered. Total synthesis is indispensable for preparing analogs to gain deeper insight into the mode of action and the pharmacologically active moieties of the molecule.

One concise methods for synthesis of oxetan-3-ol from epoxy chloropropane are reported. The method involve employsepoxy chloropropane opening of reaction, esterifiction, electrophilic reaction, ring-closure reaction. Fig. 1 Structure of oxetan-3-ol and the related molecule. Oxetan-3-ol is usually used for the preparation of 3-oxetanone. and the compounds containing such oxetanone moiety have been often used in synthetic and medicinal chemistry. Recently, Carreira and coworkers explored to use the oxetanone unit as a gem-dimethyl variant to modify solubility, lipophilicity, metabolic stability, and molecular conformation (3). . Oxetan-3-ones are also useful in synthesis and drug discovery and can serve as precursors to oxetanones, as well as oxetan-3-one, 1,3-epoxy-2-propanone, and other oxetane derivatives are also useful in serving as precursors to oxetanones (4). Chemerda et. al also reported that steroids involving oxetan-3-ones possessed novel bioactivity, such as antiinflammatory and antiglucocorticoid (5). Owing to the considerable diversity of possible oxetanthe synthetic approaches to oxetan-3-ol was urgent to develop, and actually there are a limited number of routes described. Recently, Zhang reported gold catalyzed oxidative cyclization of propargyl alcohol (6). Ryono et. al developed a four steps route to construct oxetan-3-ol (7). We believed an efficient and concise route to synthesize this useful oxetane is necessary. So based on A's report, we developed a modified approach to obtain oxetan-3-ol. Our retrosynthesis was depicted in Figure 2. The target oxetan-3-ol was disconnected to protected (2). The intermediate (2) was devised to obtain from chloride (3) via two steps via a hydrolysis and an intramolecular cyclization. For synthesis of (3), it would be disconnected to alcohol (4) through a protection. The later was designed to be got from commercially available epoxy chloropropane (5).

The important intermediate, (R)-methyl 5-hydroxy-3-oxoheptanoate, of study towards to total synthesis of (+)- Clavosolide A (1) was described, which was commenced from commercially available D-phenylalanine.

Low-carbon development is a new method of human ecologic civilization and is an important countermeasure to cope with global climate change. With the rapid development of information technology, how to support low-carbon development by information technology is a meaningful subject to study. This paper put forth the conception of internet of energy-saving and emission-reduction (IE&E) and its framework, key technologies. IE&E is new application in the area of energy-saving and emission-reduction based on internet and internet of things. IE&E is a new internet system which has special function and structure compared with internet and internet of things, as it integrates information flow, material flow, energy flow and notion flow. Its purpose is for energy-saving and emission-reduction by information technology, and it will be used for the government decision-making and enterprise' energy-saving and emission-reduction. The framework of IE&E includes perception layer technology, network layer technology, application layer technology and common technology. The key technologies of IE&E are the dynamic monitoring technology and spatial information technology. At the end of this article, countermeasures to promote the development of regional low-carbon with IE&E are set forth.
