Zn1&minus, xMgxO (x = 0, 0.03, 0.05, and 0.07) nanocrystalline films were grown on silicon substrates using the sol&ndash, gel method. Furthermore, Zn1&minus, xMgxO vertically aligned hexagonal symmetrical nanorods with six reflection symmetries were fabricated on pure ZnO-seeded layer n-type silicon substrates via a low-temperature hydrothermal method to enhance the ultraviolet (UV) light response. The crystal microstructures and surface morphologies of nanocrystalline films and nanorod arrays were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). Transmission spectra showed that the increasing Mg content will increase the band gap energy from 3.28 to 3.46 eV. However, the current&ndash, voltage curves in the dark and under UV illumination showed that the UV response did not improve by the incorporation of magnesium. We changed the flat surface of films into symmetrical nanorod arrays and demonstrated they can significantly enhance the normalized photo-to-dark-current ratio up to ten times.

Kido Senki Valhalla that is a graphic adventure game with an original story designed by a student team ‘Forward’. We focus on the graphic design of the mobile suits of game characters. A player will enjoy the game story with many CG illustrations. The end of game story will be created by the player. Soundtracks are also design by this student team. Game voice dubbing is also an interesting work for a student team to dub the dialogues in the game scene. All voice actors come from classmates. Over 2 h playing time is implemented by Unity game engine.

Nalbuphine, a kappa-opioid agonist and mu-opioid partial agonist, has been widely used as an analgesic or an adjuvant with morphine in clinics. In rats, it attenuates tolerance and physical dependence caused by morphine, when co-administered. In this study, we investigated the effect of nalbuphine on morphine reward. Using the conditioned place preference (CPP) paradigm in rats, we demonstrated that co-administration of nalbuphine (1mg/kg, i.p.) with morphine (5mg/kg, i.p.) during conditioning could completely block the CPP induced by morphine. However, in experiments examining locomotor activity in rats, nalbuphine showed no effect on the development of behavioral sensitization induced by reported morphine administration. In microdialysis experiments, morphine induced a significant increase in the dopamine metabolites 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid and homovanillic acid in the shell region of the nucleus accumbens. Co-administration of nalbuphine blocked the increase in dopamine metabolites induced by morphine. These results may be due to the attenuating effect of nalbuphine on the dopaminergic activity of mesolimbic pathways. All of these results suggest nalbuphine could have a great potential as a pharmacotherapy for opiate abuse.
