In 2014, a landslide disaster occurred at Hongshiyan in Ludian County, Yunnan Province, China, causing the landslide-dames in Niulanjiang River. Scholars have studied the characteristics and causal mechanisms of this landslide and obtained substantial results. However, the kinematic evolution characteristics of the landslide remain relatively unclear. To resolve this problem, we introduced the Material Point Method (MPM) to study large-scale deformations for simulation analysis. The results showed that the movement of the slide body could be divided into three stages: accelerated sliding, decelerated sliding, and stabilizing. The velocity field and displacment field of the slide body is closely related to its spatial distribution. The velocity and displacement of the surface part higher than that of the shallow part. The internal friction angle and friction coefficient significantly affected the kinematic characteristics of landslide. The decrease in the internal friction angle and friction coefficient reduced the energy consumed by the friction between particles and between the particles and the sliding bed, raising the landslide velocity and displacement.

Virus transmission from person to person is an emergency event facing the global public. Early detection and isolation of potentially susceptible crowds can effectively control the epidemic of its disease. Existing metrics can not correctly address the infected rate on trajectories. To solve this problem, we propose a novel spatio-temporal infected rate (IR) measure based on human moving trajectories that can adequately describe the risk of being infected by a given query trajectory of a patient. Then, we manage source data through an efficient spatio-temporal index to make our system more scalable, and can quickly query susceptible crowds from massive trajectories. Besides, we design several pruning strategies that can effectively reduce calculations. Further, we design a spatial first time (SFT) index, which enables us to quickly query multiple trajectories without much I/O consumption and data redundancy. The performance of the solutions is demonstrated in experiments based on real and synthetic trajectory datasets that have shown the effectiveness and efficiency of our solutions.

The paper simulates membrane potential of Lamprey neural circuit based on WLC model. The influences parameter of RS and SR neuron stimulation are numerically analyzed. The results show that left or right motoneuron will appear alternately spike in circumstance of external stimulation. In alternate-current stimulation the ISI sequences of motoneuron will have periodical increase. Also it shows transforming of motoneuron frequent from left to right motoneuron. These results explain the experiment phenomena when lamprey was influenced by electrical stimulation.

Salvia miltiorrhiza (Labiatae, Laminaceae), danshen, is an annual sage mainly found in China and neighboring countries. The crude drug (dried root) and its preparations are currently used in China to treat patients suffering from heart attack, angina pectoris, stroke and some other conditions. The use of S. miltiorrhiza has been increasing in the management of stroke. Pharmacological examinations showed that the plant and its active ingredients, tanshinones and salvianolic acids, have anticoagulant, vasodilatory, increased blood flow, anti-inflammatory, free radical scavenging, mitochondrial protective and other activities. This review discusses the pharmacology, medicinal chemistry and clinical studies published, especially in China, for danshen and tanshinone preparations. Clinical examinations are evaluated in terms of S. miltiorrhiza preparation, dose, double blinding, control, clinical assessments of outcomes and other parameters. Meta-analyses of S. miltiorrhiza are also discussed.
