In the present work, we report the discovery and complete genome sequence of a novel partitivirus identified from Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis, which we have named "Brassica campestris chinensis cryptic virus 1" (BCCV1). Next-generation sequencing (NGS) combined with adapter-ligation-mediated amplification allowed assembly of the full-length genome sequence of BCCV1. The genome of BCCV1 contains two dsRNA segments, dsRNA1 (1595 bp) and dsRNA2 (1591 bp), which encode a conserved RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) and a putative capsid protein (CP), respectively. Homology searches and phylogenetic analysis of the 479-aa RdRp and 438-aa CP showed that BCCV1 is a new member of the genus Deltapartitivirus, family Partitiviridae. This is the first report of the identification of a member of the family Partitiviridae in Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis.

Here, we report the full-length genome sequence of a novel cogu-like virus identified in Brassica campestris L. ssp. Chinensis (B. campestris), an economically important vegetable in China. This virus, tentatively named "Brassica campestris chinensis coguvirus 1" (BCCoV1), has a bipartite genome that consists of two RNA molecules (RNA1 and RNA2). The negative-stranded (ns) RNA1 is 6757 nt in length, encoding the putative RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), and the ambisense RNA2 is 3061 nt long, encoding the putative movement protein (MP) and nucleocapsid protein (NP). A homology search of the RdRp, MP, and NP showed that they are closely related to five other recently discovered negative-stranded RNA (nsRNA) viruses infecting plants, belonging to the new genus Coguvirus. Phylogenetic analysis of the 252-kDa RdRp confirmed the classification of this virus, showing that BCCoV1 possibly belongs to the genus Coguvirus, family Phenuiviridae, order Bunyavirales. The present study improves our understanding of the viral diversity in B. campestris and the evolution of nsRNA viruses.

This study aimed to explore whether APOC1 expression has a function in the biological behavior of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) cells and its possible mechanism. Bioinformatics analysis of data TCGA and OnComine was conducted to explore the expression pattern and prognostic value of APOC1, as well as the relationship between APOC1 expression and clinical indicators. Loss‐ and gain‐ of APOC1 function assays were carried out to assess the biological functions of APOC1. Western blotting was applied to detect protein expression. We revealed that APOC1 was upregulated in ccRCC tissues. APOC1 expression was related to gender, grade, pathologic‐T, pathologic‐stage, and pathologic‐M in patients with ccRCC. Meanwhile, Kaplan–Meier analysis evidenced that the high APOC1 expression indicated unfavorable outcomes of ccRCC. Functional experiments in vitro revealed that upregulation of APOC1 in UT33A cells promoted cell proliferation, invasion, and migration, while downregulation of APOC1 in 786‐O cells had the opposite effect. Furthermore, epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) was activated in cells with upregulated APOC1 but inhibited in cells with down‐regulated APOC1. Collectively, our data suggested that APOC1 was overexpressed in ccRCC cells and promoted the malignant biological behaviors and EMT of ccRCC cells.

Background Paspalum notatum ‘Flugge’ is a diploid with 20 chromosomes (2n = 20) multi-purpose subtropical herb native to South America and has a high ecological significance. It is currently widely planted in tropical and subtropical regions. Despite the gene pool of P. notatum ‘Flugge’ being unearthed to a large extent in the past decade, no details about the genomic information of relevant species in Paspalum have been reported. In this study, the complete genome information of P. notatum was established and annotated through sequencing and de novo assembly of its genome. Results The latest PacBio third-generation HiFi assembly and sequencing revealed that the genome size of P. notatum ‘Flugge’ is 541 M. The assembly result is the higher index among the genomes of the gramineous family published so far, with a contig N50 = 52Mbp, scaffold N50 = 49Mbp, and BUSCOs = 98.1%, accounting for 98.5% of the estimated genome. Genome annotation revealed 36,511 high-confidence gene models, thus providing an important resource for future molecular breeding and evolutionary research. A comparison of the genome annotation results of P. notatum ‘Flugge’ with other closely related species revealed that it had a close relationship with Zea mays but not close compared to Brachypodium distachyon, Setaria viridis, Oryza sativa, Puccinellia tenuiflora, Echinochloa crusgalli. An analysis of the expansion and contraction of gene families suggested that P. notatum ‘Flugge’ contains gene families associated with environmental resistance, increased reproductive ability, and molecular evolution, which explained its excellent agronomic traits. Conclusion This study is the first to report the high-quality chromosome-scale-based genome of P. notatum ‘Flugge’ assembled using the latest PacBio third-generation HiFi sequencing reads. The study provides an excellent genetic resource bank for gramineous crops and invaluable perspectives regarding the evolution of gramineous plants.

Exosomes have the ability to carry a wide range of chemicals, convey them to target cells or target regions, and act as “messengers.” For the purpose of investigating embryo attachment, it is helpful to comprehend the range of exosomal mRNAs and miRNAs derived from the uterine flushing fluid before and after embryo attachment. In this study, we recovered exosomes from goat uterine rinsing fluid at 5, 15, and 18 days of gestation and used RNA-Seq to identify the mRNA and miRNA profiles of exosomes obtained from uterine rinsing fluid before and after embryo implantation. In total, 91 differently expressed miRNAs and 27,487 differentially expressed mRNAs were found. The target genes predicted by the differentially expressed miRNAs and the differentially expressed mRNAs were mainly membrane-related organelles with catalytic activity, binding activity, transcriptional regulation activity, and involved in metabolism, biological regulation, development, and other processes. This was revealed by GO analysis. Furthermore, KEGG analysis revealed that they were abundant in signaling pathways associated with embryo implantation, including the “PI3K-Akt signaling pathway,” “Toll-like receptor signaling pathway,” “TGF-beta signaling route,” “Notch signaling pathway,” and others. Moreover, our research has demonstrated, for the first time, that chi-let-7b-5p specifically targets the 3’UTR of CXCL10. Our research offers a fresh viewpoint on the mechanics of embryo attachment.

Rationale The objective of this study was to develop, optimize, and validate a method for the determination and quantification of 17 hypoglycemic drugs in fingerprints using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem hybrid triple quadrupole linear ion trap mass spectrometry (UHPLC-QTRAP-MS/MS). We also aimed to apply the present method to the fingerprints collected from patients with hyperglycemia. Methods The scheduled multiple reaction monitoring-information dependent acquisition-enhanced product ion (SMRM-IDA-EPI) scanning mode was utilized. The chromatographic system consisted of an Acquity UHPLC® BEH C18 column (3.0×100 mm, 1.7μm) and a mobile phase of 0.01% (v/v) formic acid in water and methanol. Analytes were extracted via a precipitation protein procedure. The method was validated in accordance with the US food and drug administration (FDA) guidance and applied to the analysis of fingerprint deposits from subjects who have taken the drugs. Results The limits of detection (LODs) and the lower limits of quantification (LLOQs) of 17 hypoglycemic drugs were 0.001 to 0.020 and 0.002 to 0.050 ng/fingerprint, respectively. The correlation coefficients (r) for the calibration curves were > 0.99 in the range of 0.050-50.000 ng/fingerprint. The matrix effect and recovery of 17 hypoglycemic drugs at three concentrations ranged from 81.1 to 117.3% and 80.0 to 109.6%, respectively. The validation data (intra- and inter-day combined) for accuracy ranged from 85.5 to 117.2%, the CV (%) data were ≤ 19.7%. All analytes were found to be stable stored in the autosampler (4°C) for 24 h. This validated method was successfully applied to detect hypoglycemic drugs in fingerprints from patients with hyperglycemia. Conclusions A quantification method for hypoglycemic drugs in fingerprints was developed, optimized, and validated. This sensitive method could be used for drug monitoring and providing reference information in forensic investigations.

In the Internet era, there are many learning resources related to various courses or technologies, students' autonomous learning is becoming more and more convenient, and relatively speaking, project-based teaching resources that can cultivate students' project development ability are rare. As a server-side language, PHP plays a more and more important role in various website development, however, from the perspective of teaching, the existing curriculum resources and cases can not meet the needs of cultivating students' project development ability. Taking the online bookstore system as a teaching project, this paper puts forward the ideas and methods of project-based teaching reform. Around the realization process of the bookstore system function, the knowledge is explained. Through the project teaching, the students' project development ability and software engineering idea are cultivated.

In the exploration and practice of talent training mode of craftsman workshop, management is an important part, and supervising and checking the learning progress and knowledge mastery of students is an important part of management; in the cloud era of rapid development of information technology, applying cloud computing to the management of craftsman workshop is not only the embodiment of keeping pace with the times, but also a very effective and efficient management means. Based on this, this paper designs a cloud learning work order system for craftsman workshop management, and then implements it.

To identify the prevalence of chronic disease and behavior risk factors of adverse pregnancy outcome for pre-pregnancy couples in Hunan province, China. A retrospective study including cross-sectional datas from the Free Pre-pregnancy Health Check (FPHC) surveillance system of Hunan, China in 2019 was conducted. Microsoft Excel 2010 was used for preliminary data analysis. The fowllowing descriptive analysis, t-tests, and Chi-Squared tests were carried out using SPSS 25.0. Among 419,971 couples, 182,450 (21.72%) individuals were older than 35 years, 257,471(69.48%) couples planned to have a second or additional child and 114,892 (27.36%) individuals had a history of adverse pregnancy outcomes. The mean number of risk factors of adverse pregnancy outcome was higher in males than that in females (2.17 per male vs 1.92 per female). The prevalence/proportions of hypertension, increased psychological pressure, high alanine transaminase or creatinine, smoking, passive smoke exposure, alcohol use, and exposure to environmental risk factors were higher in males than that in females (2.43% vs 1.35%, 0.68% vs 0.54%, 12.80% vs 5.93%, 2.52% vs 1.47%, 27.70% vs 0.24%, 10.94% vs 3.58%, 15.62% vs 1.07%, and 1.46% vs 1.15%, respectively). The proportion of females with an abnormal cervix was 3.35%, and the proportion of males with abnormal wrapping was 1.90%. The prevalence/proportions of anemia and work-related pressure or social tensions were higher in females than that in males (5.53% vs 0.51%, 15.39% vs 13.61%, and 8.22% vs 7.88%, respectively). History of adverse pregnancy outcomes and age olderthan 35 years were important risk factors for pre-pregnancy couples in Hunan province. The mean number of risk factors was higher in males than that in females. Hypertension, increased psychological pressure, high alanine transaminase and creatinine levels, smoking, passive smoke exposure, alcohol use, and exposure to dangerous environmental factors were the major risk factors for males. Anemia, work-related pressure and social tensions were the major risk factors for females.

Purpose Thus far there has been no study on the breast cancer screening program in China, especially one exploring differences between poor and non-poor areas. Therefore, we aimed to assessment the effectiveness of the population-based breast cancer screening programs, and clinical epidemiological characteristics of breast cancers in poor and non-poor counties in rural areas of Hunan province from 2016–2018.Methods 3,151,679 rural women took part in the screening program and 1,169 breast cancer cases was identified. Chi-square and Fisher’s exact tests, and binary logistic regression analysis were used for analyzing the difference in risk factors, clinical examination results, and clinicopathological features of breast cancer patients in poor counties compared with those in non-poor counties in rural areas of Hunan province. Results The breast cancer incidence was 37.09/105. Breast cancer incidence was lower in poor counties (29.68/105) than in non-poor counties (43.13/105). There were differences between breast cancers in poor counties and non-poor counties in cyst, margin, internal echo, and blood flow in solid masses in the right breast in ultrasonic examination, lump structure in mammography examination, and clinicopathological staging and grading in pathological examination. Breast cancer in poor counties was more likely to be diagnosed at later stages as determined from the classification in ultrasonic, mammography and pathological examination. Furthermore, indexes of the breast screening program including early detection, incidence, pathological examination, and mammography examination were reduced in poor compared with non-poor counties. Binary logistic regression analysis showed that education, ethnicity, reproductive history and the year 2017 were associated with an increased risk of breast cancer in poor counties (OR >1, P < 0.05). Conclusions Women in poor areas were more likely to be diagnosed at a later breast cancer stage than those in non-poor areas, and therefore, women should have better access to diagnostic and clinical services in poor areas in Hunan province to help rectify this situation.

Through the research of of the application of artificial intelligence and usage pattern technology in airborne weapon combat identification simulation test, this paper set up the airborne weapon combat identification intelligent simulation test system. Carrying out the evaluation of airborne weapon's actual combat, this paper provide support for the evaluation of airborne weapon's performance and effectiveness under the typical combat background.

The quadrotor has a dynamics with strong nonlinearity, and path planning for quadrotors in obstacle environment will be a complex multi-constraint optimization problem. Based on the pseudo-spectral method, this paper transforms the optimal control problem with complex constraints into a nonlinear programming problem. To improve solving efficiency, the distributed solution is adopted, and the Nash optimal coordination strategy is adopted to ensure the optimality of the whole system. The simulation results show that this method can complete the optimal path planning for quadrotors formation under complex multi-constraint conditions.

Background: This facility-based study analyzed the epidemiology and incidence of maternal near-miss (MNM) and mortality by hospital level as part of Hunan province’s efforts to raise the quality of hospital care for women. Methods: We used data for MNM and mortality cases for 2012–2018 from 17 hospitals (12 level 2 facilities, five level 3 facilities) that receive referrals for obstetric complications in Hunan province. Data were drawn from China’s National Maternal Near Miss Surveillance System, and collected using the World Health Organization near-miss tool. We calculated the ratio of severe maternal outcomes (SMO) (i.e., MNM and maternal death [MD] cases), mortality index (MI), and MNM to mortality ratio (MNM:MD), and epidemiological factors, organ dysfunction, and maternal complications stratified by hospital level. Chi-square tests to examine differences between groups and total ratios and 95% CI were calculated. Results: There were 518 SMO cases (489 MNM and 29 MD) among 279407 live births (LBs) and 1299 SMO cases(1262 MNM and 37 MD) among 232386 LBs in level 2 and 3 facilities. The total MNM ratio in level 2 and 3 hospitals was 1.75 (95%CI: 1.60–1.91) and 5.43 (95%CI: 5.14–5.74) per 1000 LBs, respectively. There were differences in SMO cases between level 2 and 3 hospitals in maternal age, education, parity, antenatal visits, and history of cesarean sections. In MNM cases, coagulation dysfunction was the main organ dysfunction (level 2 hospitals: 59.10%; level 3 hospitals: 79.32%), and the main maternal complications were obstetric hemorrhage (level 2 hospitals: 71.98%) and hepatopathy (level 3 hospitals: 69.49%). For MD cases, the main maternal complications were neurologic dysfunction (level 2 hospitals: 41.38%) and coagulation dysfunction (level 3 hospitals: 42.55%). Anemia was the main maternal complication for SMO cases in both level 2 (69.69%) and 3 (68.59%) hospitals. Conclusions: MNM and MD is higher in level 3 hospitals compared with level 2 hospitals. The obstetric emergency capacity of level 3 hospitals is higher than that of level 2 hospitals. Future government policies should consider upgrading the obstetric emergency treatment capacity in level 2 hospitals or to re-distinguish the social functions of different medical institutions.

The Hunan provincial government has implemented a free breast cancer screening program for rural women aged 35 to 64 years from 2016, under a 2015 policy aimed at of poverty eradication and improving women's health in China. Background Circular RNAs (circRNAs) represent a class of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) which are widely expressed in mammals and tissue-specific, of which some could act as critical regulators in the atherogenesis of cerebrovascular disease. However, the underlying mechanisms by which circRNA regulates the ectopic phenotype of endothelial cells (ECs) in atherosclerosis remain largely elusive. Methods CCK-8, transwell, wound healing and Matrigel assays were used to assess cell viability, migration and tube formation. QRT-qPCR and Immunoblotting were used to examine targeted gene expression in different groups. The binding sites of miR-370-3p (miR-370) with TGFβR2 or hsa_circ_0003204 (circ_0003204) were predicted using a series of bioinformatic tools, and validated using dual luciferase assay and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assay. The localization of circ_0003204 and miR-370 in ECs were investigated by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Gene function and pathways were enriched through Metascape and gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA). The association of circ_0003204 and miR-370 in extracellular vesicles (EVs) with clinical characteristics of patients were investigated using multiple statistical analysis. Results Circ_0003204, mainly located in the cytoplasm of human aorta endothelial cells (HAECs), was upregulated in the ox-LDL-induced HAECs. Functionally, the ectopic expression of circ_0003204 inhibited proliferation, migration and tube formation of HAECs exposed to ox-LDL. Mechanically, circ_0003204 could promote protein expression of TGFβR2 and its downstream phosph-SMAD3 through sponging miR-370, and miR-370 targeted the 3′ untranslated region (UTR) of TGFβR2. Furthermore, the expression of circ_0003204 in plasma EVs was upregulated in the patients with cerebral atherosclerosis, and represented a potential biomarker for diangnosis and prognosis of cerebrovascular atherogenesis. Conclusions Circ_0003204 could act as a novel stimulator for ectopic endothelial inactivation in atherosclerosis and a potential biomarker for cerebral atherosclerosis.

This data article is related to our recently published article (‘20.8% industrial PERC solar cell: ALD Al2O3 rear surface passivation, efficiency loss mechanisms analysis and roadmap to 24%’, Huang et al., 2017 [1]) where we have presented a systematic evaluation of the overall cell processing and a cost-efficient industrial roadmap for PERC cells. Aside from the information already presented in Huang et al., 2017 [1], here we provide data related to Sectin 3 in Huang et al., 2017 [1] concerning the analysis of the recombination losses׳ mechanisms by PC1D V5.9 and PC2D simulations (Clugston and Basore, 1997, Basore and Cabanas-Holmen, 2011, Cabanas-Holmen and Basore, 2012 and Cabanas-Holmen and Basore, 2012.) [2–5] on our current industrial Al2O3 PERC cell. The data include: i) PC2D simulations on J02, ii) the calculation of series resistance and back surface recombination velocity (BSRV) on the rear side metallization of PERC cell for the case of a point contact, and iii) the PC1D simulation on the cumulative photo-generation and recombination along the distance from the front surface. Finally, the roadmap of the solar cell efficiency for an industrial PERC technology up to 24% is presented, with the aim of providing a potential guideline for industrial researchers.

PERC cell is currently entering the industrial crystalline silicon solar cell production lines. While there has been many reports focusing on research PERCs, this paper aims to present a cost-efficient PERC roadmap at fully industrial level, i.e. beyond the research and pilot lines. We present a systematic experimental study on the most important material and cell parameters for PERC, for instance, the key processes of ozone based ALD Al2O3 rear surface passivation and screen printed aluminum local back surface field are discussed in detail, especially highlighting the importance of the process integration. Industrial PERC cells using this roadmap have demonstrated average efficiency of 20.5% and champion efficiency of 20.8% with open circuit voltage of 660–666 mV. Light-induced degradation analysis shows that the PERC cells are subject to bulk degradation and not to surface degradation. An anti-LID treatment processed by simultaneous applying forward voltages and anneal can drastically decrease LID. The cell efficiency loss mechanisms are analyzed based on the quantum efficiency measurement, suns-Voc tests and series resistance loss calculations. These are combined with PC1D and PC2D simulations to analyze recombination loss mechanisms present in the cells in order to promote viable solutions to extend the current industrial PERC cell efficiency to 24%.

All subjects were randomly divided into analysis group and validation group. Serum levels of PIVKA-II, AFP and other laboratory parameters were detected. Chi-squared test, t-test and logistic regression were employed in statistical analysis.Results: PIVKA-II level in early HCC was significantly higher than that in LC (90.97 mAU/mL vs 18.00 mAU/mL, P < 0.01), as well as AFP level (15.00 ng/mL vs 2.00 ng/mL, P < 0.01) in analysis groups. Multivariate analysis showed that PIVAK-II, AFP, gender, and age were independent risk factors for early HCC detection among LC patients. A logistic regression model and a simple model combining PIVKA and AFP were conducted to detect early HCC. The ROC curve showed that among analysis groups, the area under the ROC curve (AUROC) of the logistic regression model and the simple model were 0.96 (95% CI 0.94–0.98) and 0.94 (95% CI 0.92–0.97), respectively. At a cut-off value of 56.03 the sensitivity and specificity of the simple model were 81.1% and 91.4%, respectively. In the validation group, the sensitivity and specificity of the simple model was 82.4% and 94.2%, respectively. The two models are comparable statistically for early HCC detection, but the logistic regression requires complex calculation.Conclusion: The present study indicates that the simple model combining PIVKA-II and AFP has comparable diagnostic efficiency in contrast to the logistic model but is easy to use clinically. Furthermore, there are no investigations relating to the association between air pollutants and macrosomia. In the era of big data, we submit a lot of data to the server through the web form interface every day. Data validation is an indispensable link in the process of submitting data. The current verification scheme has some problems, such as untimely verification data, heavy load on the server. This paper analyzes the defects in the single step method in the form data verification by case analysis. On this basis, the two-step scheme of data verification is proposed, the design and optimization ideas of the two-step scheme are given, and the process and principle of the two-step verification are described. The two-step method of form data validation provides an available solution for efficient and fast data validation.

Background The control of maternal deaths continues to be a significant public health issue and commands an enormous amount of attention, especially under the future family planning policy. Here, we describe the epidemiology and trends of maternal deaths in Hunan province, and give several policy implications. Methods Maternal deaths in Hunan province between 2009 and 2014 were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. Cochran-Armitage trend test was used to assess the time trends of maternal mortality rates. Binary logistic regression analyses were undertaken to identify the factors that were associated with unavoidable maternal deaths. Results In total, there were 987 maternal deaths, with the overall MMR declining by 45.24%. The most common causes of maternal death during this period were pregnancy complications (28.37%), obstetric hemorrhage (25.33%), and amniotic fluid embolism (15.70%). Obstetric hemorrhage (28.14%) was higher in rural areas, while pregnancy complications were higher (29.27%) in urban areas. In all, 627 (63.5%) deaths were avoidable. The risk factors associated with unavoidable maternal deaths was above 35 years (aOR = 1.80 95%CI: 1.27-2.55), without prenatal examination (aOR = 8.97 95%CI: 1.11-7.78), low household incomes (aOR = 1.15 95%CI: 1.02-1.29), without adopting the new way to deliver (aOR = 5.15 95%CI: 3.20-8.31), and death location (aOR = 1.09 95%CI: 1.02-1.18). The most frequent and important factors associated with avoidable deaths was improper knowledge and skills of the county medical institutions. Conclusions Moderate progress was made in reducing the MMR in Hunan province. The government should aim to improve the basic midwifery skills in rural areas and the obstetric emergency rescue service for critically ill pregnant women in urban areas, and strengthen training to improve knowledge and skills in medical institutions in counties.

The tumor suppressive role of oridonin, an active compound extracted from Rabdosia rubescens, has been proven in several gastric cancer (GC) cell lines. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of oridonin on another GC cell line, SNU-216, and explore the potential mechanisms. The viable cell numbers, cell migration, survival fraction, and cell viability were, respectively, evaluated by trypan blue exclusion assay, wound healing assay, clonogenic assay, and CCK-8 assay. Cell apoptosis was determined by flow cytometry assay and western blot. The expression of p53 was inhibited by transient transfection, and the efficiency was verified by western blot. qRT-PCR was performed to measure the mRNA expression of p53. Western blot was used to evaluate the protein expression of apoptosis, DNA damage and p53 function related factors. We found that oridonin significantly inhibited cell proliferation, migration, and survivability, and enhanced cell apoptosis in SNU-216 cells. However, it had no influence on HEK293 cell viability. Oridonin also remarkably enhanced the anti-tumor effect of cisplatin on SNU-216 cells, as it significantly increased apoptotic cells and decreased cell viability. Moreover, the mRNA and protein expression of p53 was significantly up-regulated in oridonin-treated cells, while Mdm2 expression was down-regulated. Furthermore, oridonin enhanced p53 function and induced DNA damage. Knockdown of p53 or employing the caspase inhibitor, Boc-D-FMK, reversed the effect of oridonin on cell viability and apoptosis-related protein expression. The present study demonstrated that oridonin exhibited an anti-tumor effect on GC SNU-216 cells through regulating p53 expression and function.

In this paper, we report toluene destruction using a spontaneous polarization plasma and photocatalyst reactor in air at atmospheric pressure and room temperature. A spontaneous polarization material (BaTiO3) and photocatalyst (TiO2) were added to the plasma system simultaneously. Three types of catalyst, i.e., TiO2, BaTiO3, or TiO2/BaTiO3, were used for toluene removal. The catalyst carrier, type, and amount were important factors in the toluene removal efficiency. The specific energy density and energy yield during the discharge process were investigated. The toluene removal efficiency increased when a spontaneous polarization plasma was combined with the photocatalyst. In terms of toluene removal efficiency, the activity order was TiO2/BaTiO3 > BaTiO3 > TiO2 > none. Large amounts of BaTiO3 in the TiO2/BaTiO3 catalyst gave slightly better conversion. The TiO2/BaTiO3 catalyst not only enhanced the toluene removal efficiency, but also saved energy, making it useful for industrial applications.

This data article is related to the recently published article ‘20.8% industrial PERC solar cell: ALD Al 2 O 3 rear surface passivation, efficiency loss mechanisms analysis and roadmap to 24%’ (Huang et al., 2017) [1] . This paper is about passivated emitter and rear cell (PERC) structures and it describes the quality of the Al 2 O 3 rear-surface passivation layer deposited by atomic layer deposition (ALD), in relation to the processing parameters (e.g. pre-clean treatment, deposition temperature, growth per cycle, and film thickness) and to the cell efficiency loss mechanisms. This dataset is made public in order to contribute to the limited available public data on industrial PERC cells, to be used by other researchers.

Excellent models have been described in literatures which related membrane potential to extracellular electric or magnetic stimulation and which described the formation and propagation of action potentials along the axon, for both myelinated and nonmyelinated fibers. There is not, however, an adequate model for nerve injury which allows to compute the distribution of injury potential, a direct current potential difference between intact and injured nerve, because its importance has been ignored in the shadow of the well-known action potential. This paper focus on the injury potential and presents a model of the electrical properties of myelinated nerve which describes the time course of events following injury. The time-varying current and potential at all nodes can be computed from the model, and the factors relate to the amplitude of injury potential can be determined. It is shown that the amplitude of injury potential decreased gradually with injury time, and the recession curve was exponential. Results also showed that the initial amplitude of injury potential is positively related to the grade of injury and fiber diameter. This model explained the mechanism of formation of injury potential and can provide instruction for applied electric field to prevent the formation injury potential.

BACKGROUND Aplastic anemia (AA), paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) are the common spectrums of acquired bone marrow failure syndromes (BMFs). Accurate and timely diagnosis is a significant clinical challenge because of the overlapping features. The pathogenesis is not fully understood, but several studies have suggested that defective monocyte functions play an important role. We aimed to find whether the different expressions of CD52, CD14 and HLA-DR on CD4+ monocytes would be helpful in the preliminary diagnosis of acquired BMFs. METHODS This study included 45 patients (21 AA patients, 13 MDS patients, 11 PNH patients). The control group was composed of 33 healthy adults. Flow cytometry was performed to determine the fluorochrome conjugated antibodies, including CD52, CD14 and HLA-DR. RESULTS In this study, we found the expression of CD52 on CD4+ monocytes in AA patients was significant lower than MDS [15.90% (2.39 - 25.70) vs. 60.63% (26.0 - 94.98), p < 0.001] and healthy controls [15.90% (2.39 - 25.70) vs. 67.19% (25.5 - 88.4)%, p < 0.001], and a little higher than PNH patients [15.90% (2.39 - 25.70) vs. 4.55% (3.1 - 6.0), p < 0.05]. While comparing the levels of HLA-DR on CD4+ monocytes, AA patients were lower than PNH [40.05% (17.2 - 73.3) vs. 83.14% (80.7 - 94.3), p < 0.001] and MDS patients [40.05% (17.2 - 73.3) vs. 82.37% (69.1 - 91.2), p < 0.001]. CONCLUSIONS According to our knowledge, this is a new clinical diagnostic method that uses surface markers for CD4+ monocytes such as CD52, CD14, and HLA-DR to make differential diagnoses within AA, PNH, and MDS patients in clinical practice. In addition, CD52 in patients shows that CD52 represents the most valuable molecular marker for differential diagnosis of three types of acquired BMFs.

The one-dimensional nonlinear photonic crystals containing defects that are embedded in air are investigated.However,attributed that the reflective second harmonic wave is so strong that it can not be ignored,the slowly varying amplitude approximation is not applicable to such a system.The paper presents a general solution of second harmonic generation without adopting the slowly varying approximation when the incident light is obliquely launched upon the one-dimensional inhomogeneous systems.The result shows that the wavelengthes corresponding to the defect modes shift to the short-wavelength with the increasing angle of incidence.The broadened band width second harmonic generation with high conversion efficiency can be achieved by modulating the angle of incidence of fundamental wave.Furthermore,this method can be applicable to any one-dimensional inhomogeneous systems and the conversion efficiency of second harmonic generation can be easily and conveniently calculated.

To obtain the ultraweak luminescence properties of plant affected by multilateral growth,environment factors of osmanthus tree seedings were used as the research material.Quadratic rotation-orthogonal composite experimental design was used to study the effects of illumination,temperature,relative humidity,and moisture on the ultra-weak luminescence of leaves of osmanthus tree seedings.The model of four environmental factors to ultra-weak luminescence of osmanthus tree seedings leaves was established.The ANOVA(analysis of variance) analysis showed that the significant value of influence of different factors and their interaction on ultra-weak luminescence are different.The linear effects of four variables,the quadratic effects of illumination,relative humidity and moisture,and the interaction effects of illumination moisture and temperature relative humidity are all significant,with p-value ≤0.01.And when light by 10 stick of lamp tube(intensity of illumination value 4 229 Lx) and mean temperature,humidity and water respectively controlling in 35 ℃ 90 mL/d,85%,the value of ultraweak luminescence was maximum.Based on that,the influence rule of each influential environmental factors and their interactions on the ultra-weak luminescence was also included.

Study on the early development of sporelings from carpospores ofGracilaria asiatica Chang et Xia was conducted indoors under controlled culture conditions. Besides normal development of sporelings, a new developmental phenomenon of filamentous frond was observed. It was composed of one or two rows of cells, and took place from the outmost brim of the basal disc. During the early disc stage of germinated carpospores, one or two filamentous fronds formed on about 10% basal discs. Simultaneously, young fronds began to arch slightly from the centers of single and coalescent discs; lately more filamentous fronds up to 80% appeared on the brims of basal discs. Meanwhile one or more upright fronds protuberated on the basal discs. Generally, filamentous fronds exhibited in self-existence or co-existence forms with normal young sporelings on the same basal disc, and single cell detached from filamentous fronds developed into a new filamentous frond. This new phenomenon exhibited a unique differentiation pathway during the early development ofG. asiatica, which would be potential for the application in artificial sporelings nursery.

To find the candidate genes concerned with ovulation rate of sheep, Differential Display Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction was employed to find the differently expressed cDNA controlling ovulation in the Small Tail Han sheep of polyembryony and in Tan sheep of single birth. Twenty-four primer pairs of three anchored primers and eight arbitrary primers were assembled to amplify the specialized bands from these sheep. Positive cross tests were applied to optimize the ascertainable PCR conditions in which different special bands can be identified by silver strain in one PCR tube. After eliminating the false positive PCR products by Northern hybridization, 24 differential display bands were acquired from the ovary in the Small Tail Han sheep. These EST bands were sequenced and 18 different ESTs were found in which five ESTs had several copies and 13 ESTs had only one copy. Comparing these ESTs with homologous sequences by BLAST in the GenBank, there were six ESTs with known open reading frame (ORF) and function, three ESTs with known ORF and no function, and 9 ESTs without homologous sequence. These ESTs partly represent several genes such as NOS2, tensin, TCRA, CDKN1A, ESR1 and ACTB which express especially in Small Tail Han sheep.

Chondrus is an economically important red algae widely used for food and biochemical purpose. It early development is crucial for the culture and seedling propagation. We chose tetraspores and carpospores ofChondrus ocellatus as examples for experiment of the culture, induction and release in laboratory condition, aiming to understand early development ofC. ocellatus and to apply in seedling production. MatureC. ocellatus were collected in Qingdao, China, from Nov. to Dec. 2004. After the gametophyte and tetrasporophyte were brushed and washed with sterilized seawater, the algal materials were treated in 1.5% KI for 20 min, then were dried for 1h to stimulate the releasing of spores. After the spores released overnight, it were cultured in PES medium, incubated at 18 °C, 10±2 μmol/(m2·s1) in 12∶12h (light: dark). The observation and recording under microscope were carried out. Continuous observation of the early development showed that both tetraspore and carpospore are similar to each other. In general, three stages of the early development were shown being division, discoid crust and seedling stages. To the division stage, the most obvious feature was the increasing of cell number; during the discoid crust stage, the discoid crust had a three-dimensional axis, and it began to differentiate into two types of cells: the basal cells and the apical cells; and to the seedling stage, several protuberances-like appeared on the discoid crusts and formed juvenile seedlings. Carpospores and tetraspores exhibited a similar development process that included division stage, discoid crust stage and seedling stage.

Using the methods of combining landscape ecology with GIS spatial analysis, this paper analyses the dynamics of the marsh landscape structure of the Sanjiang Plain in the past 20 years, furthermore, taking Fujin County, located in the north of the plain, as an example, analyzes the conversion between marsh and other land use types. It is shown that the marsh in the Sanjiang Plain decreased greatly in the past 20 years, but the trend has begun to reverse. The marsh area decreased by 51.33% from 1980 to 1996, whereas it decreased by 4.19% from 1996 to 2000. The fragmentation of the marsh increased; the number of the patches increased by 326 from 1986 to 1996, whereas it only increased by 18 patches from 1996 to 2000. It is obvious that the speed of patches number diminished and the marsh fragmentation decreased, which shows that the reclamation of the marsh converted from the fragmentation to the brim in a large area of the marsh. The reclaimed marsh has mainly converted to paddy field and dry land. Large-scale reclamation in the Sanjiang Plain influences its natural environment directly: the climate of the region turns from cold and wet to warm and dry, which makes the marsh both in the low-temperature northern part and in the deeply stagnant eastern part suitable for further agricultural development.
