Fundamento y objetivo: Tras la comercialización de abiraterona, inhibidor de la síntesis de andrógenos, el objetivo del estudio fue analizar el uso, la respuesta y la seguridad de abiraterona en la población de un hospital de tercer nivel. Material y métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional retrospectivo en el que se incluyeron todos los pacientes que iniciaron tratamiento con abiraterona en un periodo de 21 meses. Se recogieron variables demográficas, diagnósticas, terapéuticas y clínicas. La respuesta se evaluó de acuerdo con la reducción del PSA con respecto al basal. Para evaluar la seguridad se registraron todas las reacciones adversas secundarias al tratamiento. Resultados: Se incluyó un total de 45 pacientes de los que, fueron evaluables con respecto a la efectividad del fármaco el 88,89%. La mediana de PSA basal era de 457,31 (rango 90322,81). As a result of ratifying the World Heritage Convention, signatory parties undertake to protect World Heritage properties by ensuring that there is no impact on outstanding universal value (OUV). Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) has been developed by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) as a tool to identify threats to OUV, but there are concerns that the focus on HIA effectiveness is too procedural and not substantively focused on protecting the attributes that are recognized as being OUV. This paper discusses the application of a framework to determine the effectiveness of (cultural) heritage impact assessments, distinguishing significance, change agents, management, impact and effectiveness assessments, to better address potential shortcomings.

Considering the need to address the sustainability of transport in Belgium, this paper discusses the effects of the urban spatial structure on home-to-work travel energy consumption through a comparative analysis of Wallonia and Flanders (Belgium). A commute-energy performance (CEP) index was calculated at the former municipality scale, evaluating variations of energy use between the two regions for the reference year 2001. Moreover, the evolution of the CEP index between 1991 and 2001 is also assessed. Results highlight an important dichotomy between the two regions: overall, the 2001 CEP index appears to be much better in Flanders than in Wallonia. A comparison of land use, spatial structure and socioeconomic factors allows explaining cross-regional and temporal variations. Finally, population change between 2001 and 2010 stresses current challenges underlying the evolution of the commute-energy performance between 1991 and 2001.

International audience; In this paper, we presented the Towntology project whose objective is to design an ontology in the urban field. This project is divided into several stages. Concerning the prime main objective of the Towntology project, i.e. to build an ontology for urban planning by integrating all urban objects with their descriptions and relations, we began to deal with some fields, such as street planning and mobility. We also developed a software tool making it possible to urban planners to work on a semantic network. Thus we built a visual browser and an ontology editor. An extension of XML is designed and used for the description of the ontology.; Dans cet article, nous avons présenté le projet Towntology dont l'objectif est de concevoir une ontologie dans le domaine de l’urbanisme. Ainsi grâce à cette ontologie, les différents systèmes d’information utilisés dans l’urbanisme pourront coopérer entre eux. L'objectif principal du projet est de décrire les objets urbains et de les mettre en relation les uns avec les autres. Tout d’abord, nous avons commencé par nous intéresser aux domaines de la voirie et de la mobilité. Dans le cadre de ce projet, nous avons développé une série d’ outils logiciels permettant aux urbanistes de développer un réseau sémantique. Ainsi nous avons construit un navigateur et un éditeur d'ontologie, tout deux basés sur un modèle XML propre à notre domaine.

Co-production of water and sanitation services, especially in the global South, implies that recipients of a service play a fundamental role in managing water resources. In the context of citizen–government synergies, service recipients are more than consumers, and (co)-production alters their involvement in the service production process, with respect to their relationships with both the natural resources and the delivery process. Our hypothesis is that a meaningful understanding of co-production for water and sanitation services is only possible through an interdisciplinary approach that takes into account natural and social dimensions. The objective is to develop a possible new conceptualization of service co-production that can foster a renewed citizenship while taking into account the risks of urban fragmentation.

This article describes our work realised since the beginning of the Towntology project, which aim was the development of urban ontologies. First of all our work deals with the comprehension of what is an ontology and their uses. Thanks to this prior studies, we develop a prototype and 3 urban ontologies: road system, urban mobility, urban renewal. After describing our result, we synthesize the main difficulties encountered during the development of these ontologies.
