Absorption heat pumps have emerged as a potential tool to address the energy crisis because of their ability to utilize low-grade heat. The performance of an absorption heat pump largely depends on the efficiency of the working pair to operate at the source temperature. The commercialized working pairs H2O/LiBr and NH3/H2O linger with operational and economic issues. Several binary/ternary combinations were tested among water, ammonia, salt, alcohols, hydrocarbons, and ionic liquids (ILs) in quest of the potential working pairs. The last decade has witnessed a stupendous surge in IL-based working pairs because of their several advantageous properties over the traditional solvents. The present review encompasses the research progress on various working pairs, in particular, their properties, modeling and correlation results, and coefficient of performance (COP) values. Acute chest pain is a leading cause of emergency department (ED) visits in the adult population. However, patients with a life-threatening cause of chest pain comprise only a small fraction, hence identification of those who need immediate intervention is very important. One rare cause is rupture of the aneurysm, which may present with a wide variety of symptomatology, including anginal chest pain. In a busy ED, evaluation of chest pain suggestive of myocardial ischaemia needs to cater to early identification of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), limit over investigating patients for low or intermediate probability of ACS and appropriate decision making for discharge, to reduce ED over boarding. Validated scores for evaluating the low or intermediate probability chest pain like the HEART pathway may miss such rare diagnoses in the absence of ECG changes, requiring high degree of suspicion and individualisation of patient care.

An experiment had been conducted at the Agronomy Farm, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur, (C.G.) in the kharif season of 2019, to determine the effects of integrated weed management practices on microbial population in soil, yield and economics in wet direct seeded rice. Pre-emergence herbicides (Oxadiargyl and Pretilachlor) were followed by post-emergence herbicide (Bispyribac-Na), mechanical and manual weeding. Plots treated with oxadiargyl performed better than pretilachlor. When Oxadiargyl was integrated with Hand Weeding (HW) at 35 days after sowing (DAS) gave results which were better than twice HW plot (T10). Oxadiargyl @ 70g/ha at 7-11 DAS fb HW at 30-35 DAS (T4) proved to be superior over all the treatments when yield and economics of wet direct seeded rice was concerned and was statistically at par with twice HW plot (T10) and oxadiargyl @ 70 g/ha at 7-11 DAS fb bispyribac-Na @ 25 g/ha at 30-35 DAS (T2). The unsprayed and two-hand weeding treatments had much lower levels of fungi, actinobacteria, and bacteria than the other weed control methods. The herbicidal treatments had much higher microbial populations at all stages of observation.

The approximate controllability of Sobolev-type Hilfer fractional control differential systems is the main emphasis of this paper. We use fractional calculus, Gronwall's inequality, semigroup theory, and the Cauchy sequence to examine the main results for the proposed system. The application of well-known fixed point theorem methodologies is avoided in this paper. Finally, a fractional heat equation is discussed as an example.

Excessive fats in human body results in obesity, which is generally linked to various illness like heart diseases, diabetes, etc. Therefore, determining the quantity of body fat becomes essential to save the human health. Though numerous approaches are available in determining body fat percentage (BFP), intelligent and accurate models can be designed using artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. Conventional single stage methods utilized particular readings from the body or explanatory parameters in predicting BFP. In this view, this study develops a new Gravitational Search Optimization with Neutrosophic rule-based Body Fat Percentage Prediction model. The presented model intends to appropriately determine the level of BFP in an effective and automated way. To accomplish this, the proposed model follows a two-stage process namely prediction and parameter optimization. At the initial stage, the model derives a new neutrosophic set based rule classifier to determine the BFP. Secondly, the membership function in the rule based model is optimally chosen by the use of GSO algorithm and thereby results in enhanced predictive outcomes of the classification model. A wide ranging simulation analysis is performed and the results are inspected under several dimensions.

The quality of strawberry is highly hampered by improper crop management, which can only be solved by using different types of mulches. It is very rare in literature, where the different types of mulches are used for the quality assessment. To carry out this new strategy to sustain the quality of strawberry the present study was carried out using various kind of mulches viz., white polythene mulch, yellow polythene mulch, black polythene much, green polythene mulch, news-paper mulch, wood husk mulch, serpat grass mulch, red polythene mulch, jute bag mulch comprised of 10 treatments and 3 replications under the randomized block design. The findings revealed that the application of black plastic mulch significantly increased the total number of fruit (12.67), length of fruit (6.21 cm), width of fruit (4.20 cm), weight of fruit (16.30 g), yield plant-1 (200.10g), yield plot-1 (3.20kg), total soluble solids (11.85%), total sugar (8.58%), reducing sugar (7.90%), non-reducing sugar (1.75%) and vitamin C (45.91 mg 100g-1). It is pertinent to infer that the application of the mulches (either black or yellow) performed and better over control.

ObjectiveWe present the final analysis results of the phase 2 JADE study (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier:NCT03361956).Design232 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) not currently treated at study start (NCT) at study start or virologically suppressed were randomised to receive 75 mg (part 1) or 250 mg (part 2) JNJ-56136379, a hepatitis B virus (HBV)–capsid assembly modulator, one time per day or placebo with nucleos(t)ide analogue (NA) (tenofovir disoproxil fumarate/entecavir) or JNJ-56136379 alone (NCT-only) for ≥24 and ≤48 weeks.ResultsIn patients who are NCT hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg) positive, JNJ-56136379 75 mg+NA and 250 mg+NA showed limited mean (SE) hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) declines (0.14 (0.10) and 0.41 (0.15), respectively) from baseline at Week 24 (primary endpoint; placebo+NA: 0.25 (0.11) log10international unit (IU)/mL).In patients who are NCT HBeAg positive, mean (SE) HBV DNA declines at Week 24 were 5.53 (0.23) and 5.88 (0.34) for JNJ-56136379 75 mg+NA and 250 mg+NA, respectively, versus 5.21 (0.42) log10IU/mL for placebo+NA. In NCT patients, mean (SE) HBV RNA declines were 2.96 (0.23) and 3.15 (0.33) versus 1.33 (0.32) log10copies/mL, respectively.Patients with HBsAg declines had HBeAg and hepatitis B core-related antigen (HBcrAg) declines and some early on-treatment isolated alanine aminotransferase flares. Viral breakthrough occurred with JNJ-56136379 monotherapy with the emerging resistant-variant T33N, but not with JNJ-56136379+NA. JNJ-56136379 treatment beyond Week 24 had a generally small additional effect on viral markers.No study treatment-related serious adverse events or clinically significant changes in laboratory parameters occurred.ConclusionsIn patients with non-cirrhotic CHB, JNJ-56136379+NA showed pronounced reductions in HBV DNA and HBV RNA, limited HBsAg or HBeAg declines in patients who are NCT HBeAg positive, and was well tolerated, but no clear benefit with regards to efficacy of JNJ-56136379 over NA was observed.

Abstract: In under developed nations, colorectal carcinogenesis (CRC) is a a significant health issue. It is the third most common outcome of cancer death. Despite a variety of therapy options, new medications are needed to lessen the severity of this condition. In the colon, Adenomatous polyps are the most common cause of CRC, occurring in 45 percent of cases, particularly in patients over 60 years old. Inflammatory polyps are acquiring popularity in CRC, as well as and inflammation appears to exert a function in the disease, according to mounting research. The Azoxymethane, Dimethyl hydrazine, APCmin/+ mouse model, and a combination of sulfated polysaccharide composed of dextran and sulfated and dimethylhydrazine are among the experimental models used to study CRC in animals. Numerous signal transduction pathways are engaged as CRC progresses. The p53, TGF-β, Delta-Notch,, Salvador-Warts-Hippo (SWH), and Kelch-like ECH assocd. protein 1pathways are among the key signal transduction pathways. To decide cell destiny, several signalling pathways work in tandem with death of cell modalitiessuch as autophagy, necroptosis, and apoptosis. In our lab, we've spent a lot of time looking into the Cell signalling and mechanisms of cell death in CRC. The pathogenesis of CRC, as well as the associated cell death and cell signalling pathways, are summarised in this study.

Abstract: Pathogenic bacteria, with their innate resistance to drugs, pose a constant threat to human health and well-being and put a persistent strain on the health care system. Development of more effective and safer novel antibacterial drugs is warranted to counter the menace unleashed by pathogenic bacteria. Integration of privileged pharmacophores from various bioactive molecules into a single template is a promising strategy to obtain new leads with unique mechanisms of action to overcome drug resistance. In the past few years, numerous isatin-based hybrid molecules were screened and their pharmacological properties were explored in efforts to develop novel therapeutics. The results of screening show that isatin conjugates exhibit promising activity against a broad range of highly pathogenic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and can serve as important leads in the discovery of highly potent broad spectrum antibacterial drugs. Herein, we review the antibacterial bioactive profile of a variety of hybrid isatin derivatives, including isatin–azole, isatin-quinoline/ quinolone, isatin-furan/coumarin, isatin-hydrazone/(thio)semicarbazone, isatin dimers, and isatin– indole hybrids.

The intrinsic energy minimization in dynamical systems offers a valuable tool for minimizing the objective functions of computationally challenging problems in combinatorial optimization. However, most prior works have focused on mapping such dynamics to combinatorial optimization problems whose objective functions have quadratic degree (e.g., MaxCut); such problems can be represented and analyzed using graphs. However, the work on developing such models for problems that need objective functions with degree greater than two, and subsequently, entail the use of hypergraph data structures, is relatively sparse. In this work, we develop dynamical system-inspired computational models for several such problems. Specifically, we define the 'energy function' for hypergraph-based combinatorial problems ranging from Boolean SAT and its variants to integer factorization, and subsequently, define the resulting system dynamics. We also show that the design approach is applicable to optimization problems with quadratic degree, and use it develop a new dynamical system formulation for minimizing the Ising Hamiltonian. Our work not only expands on the scope of problems that can be directly mapped to, and solved using physics-inspired models, but also creates new opportunities to design high-performance accelerators for solving combinatorial optimization.

Background: Recently, the construction of a smart city has accelerated due to developing technologies such as 5G and the Internet of things (IoT). The IoT is gaining access day by day in the area of the remote monitoring system. Along with smart city concepts, intelligent patient monitoring systems and intelligent health are being developed. Combining the two, here, patients have a nurse navigation system and a doctor emergency call system. IoT improves the effectiveness of medical equipment by providing real-time monitoring of patient health, in which sensors collect data from patients with less human errors. In IoT, the patient's parameters get transmitted through medical devices via a gateway to the centralized system, where it is stored and analyzed. Objective: In this paper, we have proposed an intelligent patient monitoring system for monitoring the patients' health condition automatically through sensors-based connected links. The system is more intelligent that it can be able to detect the critical condition of a patient by processing sensor data and instantly provides a notification to doctors/nurses as well as hospital in-charge personnel. The doctors and nurses get benefited from this system by observing their corresponding patients remotely without visiting to the particular seat of the patient. Methods: An idea has been proposed to use the centralized processing of IoT devices along with the rigid security and privacy of the classical blockchain to overcome the computation expense challenge with blockchain and the security and privacy threat of the IoT systems. We are developing a system in the field of medical care to enhance the functioning of Medicare systems and provide patients with more ease and hassle-free procedures of the Medicare system, i.e., hospitals, laboratories, dispensaries, chemists, druggists, etc. Results: This model helps in getting rid of this issue faced by all of us. There is a separate blockchain of different verified medical stores linked within the networks, which will be managed by the central hub based on their ratings, reviews, and stock availability. Conclusion: The exponential expansion of blockchain technology in healthcare is also astonishing and has a tremendous impact on the industry. By assessing prior activities, the idea is proposed to use a centralized database system with more privacy and security to gap between the healthcare industry and blockchain technologies has been addressed in this paper.

This communication suggests an orthogonal interleaver set for interleave division multiple access (IDMA) based non orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) schemes from beyond 5G viewpoint to support enormous increase in user count. The method generates an orthogonal interleaver set by providing two mother interleavers as seed to generate other users’ interleaving patterns progressively. The key feature of the proposed scheme is that it reduces implementation complexity and memory requirement at the base station, while implementing iterative multiuser detection (MUD), which most of the interlaever designs suggested in literature do not consider. It provides additional security to the user data due to progressively changing mother interleavers’ pattern along with the conventional purpose of providing unique identity for individual users in the system. The proposed orthogonal interleaver set is tested through simulations under multiple IDMA system configurations. It has been observed that it preserves the bit error rate (BER) performance of the IDMA scheme along with the optimal implementation complexity and minimal information exchange requirement between base station and mobile station to share the interleaver design.

The condition monitoring of rotating machines for critical applications plays an important role in reducing downtime. With Industry 4.0, the role of IoT in online condition monitoring of electrical machines has gained considerable significance. The main aim of the paper is the use of IoT for online monitoring of motor parameters like current, temperature, vibration, and humidity and observing its online trending using a web server. Data can be accessed in form of graphs and widgets by visiting the web page. The advantage of this project is the real-time monitoring of the motor from any remote area and in case of any abnormality operating personnel can take necessary steps for preventing complete breakdown. The proposed work can help industry people in online monitoring of motors and in the future work can be extended for fault prediction and classification.

In the present study, Prunus domestica L. (plum) seeds were used as the source of the oil component. To extract the oil, Soxhlet extraction using two different solvents petroleum ether and diethyl ether were used in increasing the order of polarity. GC-MS analysis of the obtained oil component was carried out and revealed the identification of 33 and 34 compounds in PE and DEE fractions respectively. 13-Docosenamide, (Z)- was the most abundant compound in PE fraction while the 2nd most abundant compound in DEE fraction. Hexadecanoic acid, 2-hydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl)ethyl ester was the most abundant compound in DEE fraction. The oil components were further assessed for in-vitro biological assays namely antidiabetic assay, antioxidant assay and antibacterial assay. ICP-MS analysis for the quantification of 12 different metals (K, Mg, Ca, Fe, Mn, Cr, Zn, Ni, Cu, As, Pb, Se) was also carried out. K was the major element in all the tested elements. Lead, arsenic and selenium were present below the limit of quantification (BLQ). Therefore, the current study through the light on therapeutic aspects of the oil components of P. domestica seeds.

Resistance against disease increased on physical, mental, emotional & spiritual level. This research investigates whether consumers express different levels of store patronage intention and expected amount of discount depending on the type of data they have to disclose to obtain a personalized price. Findings from two experiments-manipulating the type of data along with the type of incentive (Study 1) and the level of effort (Study 2)-reveal that behavioral (vs. biometric) data make customers perceive the outcome of the price personalization more equitable, thus lowering the privacy concern, and enhancing their sense of entitlement to receiving a benefit from the retailer. The impact of the type of data on perceptions of distributive justice changes as a function of the type of incentive provided to customers (Study 1) and the level of effort required to see the personalized price (Study 2). The collection of biometric data should be counterbalanced by a higher amount of personalized discount to lower consumers' privacy concerns.

Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) belong to the group of porous and crystalline substances that enable the diversity of composition and structure beyond conventional solid-state materials. In the past few years’ MOFs have created enormous interest due to their potential applications in clean energy, becoming a storage medium for H2 and CH4. The luminescent metal-organic frameworks (LMOFs) are recognized for a broad range of applications in chemical sensing, energy-efficient lighting, removal of toxic substances from gases and liquids, bio-imaging, and related fields. The present review highlights the basic methods of synthesis, current challenges in the synthesis of novel MOF materials, various characterization methods, scope, and opportunities available for the future related to MOF research. Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) technology has experienced rapid growth over the last few years due to its various applications. Antennas developed for UWB applications are desired to have notch characteristics for avoiding interference from other existing radio communication systems. Different techniques related to the design and development of band-notched antennas is utilized to improve the antenna performance. This paper presents a comprehensive study of UWB antennas with band-notch characteristics and the effect of taking different slot geometry for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) applications.

Mental health disorders are a leading cause of emergency department (ED) visits in the US. Unaddressed mental health problems can have a negative influence on society due to homelessness, poverty, unemployment, safety, and other issues. They may also impact the ability of children and youth to succeed in school, impact quality of life and increase health care costs. A total of 2,770 patients presenting with mental health related conditions, meeting the criteria of psychotic disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, depression, and other (ICD-10 code: F20-41) were extracted from the 2018 National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care (NHAMCS) survey. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Chi square tests and ANOVA with alpha significance level at 0.05. The visits to the ED for mental health were affected by various demographic factors, including age, race, region, and method of payments. The findings of the study have critical policy and public health implications. The results can aid hospitals and policy makers in addressing the critical health care issue facing our society.

Objective: Oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) is a chronic condition of the oral cavity which results in permanent disability. A number of studies have proven that the management of premalignant diseases should include antioxidants. Therefore, a study was carried out to evaluate the efficacy of spirulina in the management of 40 oral submucous fibrosis in uttar Pradesh. Materials and Method: An study was conducted on 40 oral submucous fibrosis cases, 40 patients given spirulina capsules systemetically 500 mg twice daily for period of 6 months .The results were analyzed with tukey test and ANNOVA test. Result: The result showed statistically significant improvement in burning sensation whereas it was clinically significant in mouth opening and tongue protrusion. Conclusion: Spirulina can bring about clinical improvements in OSF patients. The observed effects suggest that spirulina can be used in management of OSF patients. However, studies involving larger samples and longer period of treatment follow up are suggested in the future.

Neonatal cholestasis occurs due to failure of the excretion of bile. This happens due to defects in intrahepatic bile production, defects in transmembrane transport of bile, or mechanical obstruction to the flow of bile. Etiology varies from biliary atresia, choledochal cyst, inborn errors of metabolism, neonatal hepatitis, progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis, congenital infections, etc. Our 3 patients presented with hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, pale stools, and dark urine. We hereby report all these Indian infants presented with cholestasis and discussed in detail regarding clinical, laboratory, and etiological profiles of all.
