The purpose of this research is to examine how the UK develops qualities and abilities such as knowledge, thinking ability, and geographical skills that correspond to globalization, based on the content structure of the geography unit in the British primary geography textbook. In order to elucidate, through analysis of "case studies" that are characteristic of geography education in the United Kingdom, by clarifying the specific knowledge and concepts, geographic skills and their structureAs a result of examining geography units in British elementary geography textbooks, learning aimed at forming geographical concepts through case studies, as seen in the activities of each grade, rather than learning all the regions of the world lots of activity. In addition, emphasis is placed on nurturing geographic skills, which is the use of maps, and this is seen continuously from the third grade, indicating that the development of geographic skills using maps is being pursued through each grade.

The number of patients with ischemic cardiovascular diseases is significantly increasing as populations age. Therapeutic angiogenesis has been developed as a new treatment strategy for such patients. In recent years, the presence of mesenchymal stem cells in adipose tissues was reported, and regenerative medicine using these cells has attracted attention worldwide. In this review, we describe how the transplantation of adipose-derived regenerative cells enhances angiogenesis and tissue regeneration because of their multilineage potential and cytokine secretion. Then, the current status of therapeutic angiogenesis using adipose-derived regenerative cells in the field of cardiovascular medicine was also described. These cells present great advantages over bone marrow mononuclear cells, as these need easier, shorter, and less invasive preparations as well as less ethical concerns and immunological problems. The efficacy of adipose-derived regenerative cell transplantation in the treatment of various diseases was examined in several clinical trials with favorable results. Currently, a multicenter study of therapeutic angiogenesis using these cells is being conducted in patients with critical limb ischemia. In conclusion, we expect that this method will soon be established as a treatment for cardiovascular diseases that have been refractory to conventional treatments., This is an Open Access article distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. This study aims to clarify the contents and learner’s activities of geographical textbooks, which mirror the IB philosophy of viewing the curriculum in terms of a whole-course approach. The contents of the textbook use many case studies, but also include explanations of concepts and reading of teaching materials such as graphs and maps. However, it became clear that there were many activities that asked for explanation of knowledge understanding, and relatively few inquiry-based learning activities.

Session VI : Public Image, James Murdoch (1856-1921) was an English teacher, a journalist and a novelist who wrote books about Japan. This work discusses the pictures in his novel Ayame-san: A Japanese Romance of the 23rd Year of Meiji (1890) (1892) by comparing them with those of his other works published in the same year. It considers the relationships between the pictures and the story, as well as reality and fiction, to reveal Murdoch’s challenges in depicting Japan. William K. Burton (1856-1899), who prepared the pictures, made the acknowledgement statement in the novel. He insisted, ‘So far as I am aware this is the first book that has been illustrated with true half-tone photomechanical reproductions printed with the letter-press’. Since the book contains traditional Japanese style photographs inside, created with the latest technology of the West, it has a strong impression. Unlike the drawings in Murdoch’s other novel From Australia and Japan (1892), the pictures in Ayame-san do not illustrate the story directly. For instance, although the story is a romance between two Western men and Ayame, a Japanese girl, there are only a few pictures that depict a foreigner, and none of them corresponds with the characters. In fact, another work by Murdoch, Sights and Scenes on the Tokaido (1892), includes exactly the same pictures in this work. However, by approaching the photos from a different angle, it is possible to consider that the scenery in the pictures can be seen from the eyes of the characters in the story. Readers enjoy the plot, and they also enjoy what the characters visualise in the Far East. Although the pictures do not embellish the story emotionally like paintings, they provide readers with information that is not written and give depth to their imagination about Japan

The General AntiParticle Spectrometer (GAPS) aims to search for antideuterons originating from dark matter through highly sensitive observation of cosmic ray antiparticles. In GAPS, the use of machine learning is being considered for cosmic ray antiparticle identification, which requires high rejection power and identification accuracy. In a previous study, a three-dimensional convolutional neural network (CNN) model was used to achieve high rejection power for simulated data under limited conditions where the incident angle and position of the antiparticle are fixed. In this study, in order to seek the explanatory power of discrimination by analyzing the factors that contribute to the high accuracy of machine learning, the parts that the CNN model focuses on in discrimination are visualized, and the cases of incorrect discrimination are analyzed.,

, In 2019, one of the authors collected one female Cybister tripunctatus lateralis (Fabricius, 1798) along with other species of diving beetles in a wetland behind a paddy field in Fukutomi Town, Higashi-Hiroshima City. This is the second record of this species in this city. It is a relatively large aquatic beetle that inhabits ponds and has abandoned paddy fields rich in aquatic plants, from flatlands to low mountains. It was recorded in various places until around 1950, with one record of the species in Kurosechootada, Higashi-Hiroshima City on November 9, 1919 (Kameyama and Sugimori, 2020), but has decreased sharply since then. However, in recent years, sightings have increased all over the country, mainly in western Japan, and since there are a series of sightings in Higashi-Hiroshima other than this report, it is suggested that the population of this species is recovering and the distribution is expanding in Higashi-Hiroshima, similar to the other parts of the country. In the future, continuous sightings of this species in the wetlands of Higashi-Hiroshima City are expected.

The General Antiparticle Spectrometer (GAPS) is a balloon-borne experiment that aims to measure low-energy cosmic-ray antiparticles. GAPS has developed a new antiparticle identification technique based on exotic atom formation caused by incident particles, which is achieved by ten layers of Si(Li) detector tracker in GAPS. The conventional analysis uses the physical quantities of the reconstructed incident and secondary particles. In parallel with this, we have developed a complementary approach based on deep neural networks. This paper presents a new convolutional neural network (CNN) technique. A three-dimensional CNN takes energy depositions as three-dimensional inputs and learns to identify their positional/energy correlations. The combination of the physical quantities and the CNN technique is also investigated. The findings show that the new technique outperforms existing machine learning-based methods in particle identification., 7 pages, 10 figures

Theme I : Nature And Design, Since Japan had opened her ports to the world, the country aggressively assembled Westerner to introduce systems, techniques, and cultures from the West, and those who came Japan studies the unknown country in the Far East and published books. A British architect Josiah Conder (1852-1920) is one of them who tried to reveal Japanese culture. He wrote books about Japanese flowers and flower arrangement in The Flowers of Japan and the Art of Floral Arrangement (1891) and The Floral Art of Japan (1899). In addition, he published Landscape Gardening in Japan (1893) with its companion book Supplement to Landscape Gardening in Japan (1893). This paper is going to focus illustrations and photographs in those books to illuminate Conder’s attempt to discuss Japanese beauty with Western point of view and Japanese artistic sense. His first book about flowers in Japan The Flowers of Japan and The Art of Floral Arrangement adopted Japanese style while its content was written in Western scientific point of view that based on a paper for Asiatic Society of Japan in 1889. The cover of the book was drawn by a popular Japanese woodcut painter and has some coloured Japanese woodcuts by native artists. In Contrast to the first book, Landscape Gardening in Japan contains Western style expressions. He cited pictures by a Japanese Western-style painter instead of woodcuts. He also adopted photographs in Supplement to Landscape Gardening in Japan as he explains them “the most scientific means”. However, these Western style expressions could not be seen in his third book though the contents become more scientific. These shifts of illustrations reflects Conder’s attempt to illuminate possibility of Japanese art and ‘universally accepted art truths’.

Particle Physics - Experiment - Abstract
The LHCf experiment, at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), consists of two small independent calorimeters placed 140 metres away, on opposite sides of the ATLAS interaction point (IP1). LHCf has the capability to measure zero-degree neutral particles, covering the pseudorapidity region above 8.4. By measuring the very-forward particle production rates at the highest energy possible at an accelerator, LHCf aims to improve our understanding of hadronic interactions in air-showers induced by ultra-high-energy cosmic rays in the atmosphere. This contribution will highlight recent results from Run II measurements with p-p collisions at 13 TeV. At first, the advantages of an ATLAS-LHCf combined analysis are discussed and a preliminary energy spectrum of very-forward photons produced in diffractive collisions as tagged by ATLAS is shown. The neutron energy spectrum measurements, for several pseudorapidity regions, are presented and compared with the predictions of various hadronic interaction models. From these measurements the average inelasticity of the collisions, which strongly affects the development of an air-shower, has also been extracted. Finally, the preliminary $\pi^0$ Feynman-x and transverse momentum spectra, which affect the development of the electromagnetic component of an air-shower, are shown.

Astrophysics::High Energy Astrophysical Phenomena ,Particle Physics - Experiment - Abstract
The LHCf experiment, situated at the LHC accelerator, is composed of two independent detectors located at 140 metres from the ATLAS interaction point (IP1) on opposite sides along the beam axis. LHCf covers the pseudorapidity region above 8.4, with the capability to measure zero-degree neutral particles. The physics motivation of the experiment is to test the hadronic interaction models commonly used in ground-based cosmic rays experiments to simulate air-showers induced by ultra-high-energy cosmic rays (UHECR) in the Earth atmosphere. The data from accelerator experiments are very important for the tuning of these phenomenological models in order to reduce the systematic uncertainty of UHECR measurements. A precise measurement of the $\pi^0$s produced in the very-forward region in high energy collisions provides the possibility to study the electromagnetic component of secondary particles produced in the first interaction of a UHECR with the atmosphere. In this contribution the preliminary results from the $\pi^0$ analysis of the data acquired in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV will be presented. The Feynman-x and transverse momentum spectra obtained with the two detectors will be compared to show the consistency of the results.

Interphalangeal hyperextension is one of the major hallux deformities in patients with rheumatoid arthritis; however, there is yet no established surgical method for this deformity. We here present the case of a 69-year-old female patient with rheumatoid arthritis who developed hallux interphalangeal hyperextension and painful callosity on the plantar hallux accompanied by limited dorsiflexion at the metatarsophalangeal joint. Lateral weight-bearing radiograph of the foot revealed misalignment of the medial column and hallux, including a collapsed medial arch, elevated first metatarsal, plantar flexion and deviation of the proximal phalanx, and hyperextension of the distal phalanx. The foot was successfully treated and became symptom-free with opening wedge osteotomy of the medial cuneiform, plantar and proximal translation of the metatarsal head, and tenotomy of the extensor hallucis longus. This case suggests that reconstruction of the sagittal alignment of the medial column and hallux through a combination of osteotomy and soft tissue intervention could be an optional treatment for interphalangeal hyperextension.

Theme II : Transnational Design in and around Asia, Kazumasa Ogawa learned photography with his eyes fixed on the West, getting to know the latest photographic techniques and making the acquaintance of Japanese students of influential status while he was in the United States. William Burton describes Ogawa’s life as a “Young Japan” who found his way of living by learning the Western technology. The Photographic Society of Japan also developed by interacting the West and it mainly consisted of foreigners and Japanese members of the upper class. They shared photographic knowledge and works regardless of nationality or profession. Western culture was recommended to the aristocracy as something to be learned, as members were expected to be good role models for others. Therefore, the Photographic Society emphasized the nobility of photography in order to promote it. In May 1893, it held the Exhibition of Foreign Photographs, the first exhibition of photographs from other countries, demonstrating the latest technology and the artistic nature of photographs. The exhibition was requested by a British photographic association, which stimulated pride in photography in Japan. Photography appealed to both the upper class and other classes in Japan, demonstrating that enlightenment had spread throughout the country’s classes.

- Abstract
A square-planar Co4 amide cluster, Co4{N(SiMe3)2}4 (2), and an octahedral Co6 hydride cluster, Co6H8(PiPr3)6 (4), were obtained from metathesis-type amide to hydride exchange reactions of a CoII amide complex with pinacolborane (HBpin) in the absence/presence of PiPr3. The crystal structure of 4 revealed face-capping hydrides on each triangular [Co3] face, while the formal CoII2CoI4 oxidation state of 4 indicated a reduction of the cobalt centers during the assembly process. Cluster 4 catalyzes the hydrosilylation of 2-cyclohexen-1-one favoring the conjugate reduction. Generation of the catalytically reactive Co cluster species was indicated by a trapping experiment with a chiral chelating agent.

The first lithium-drifted silicon (Si(Li)) detectors to satisfy the unique geometric, performance, and cost requirements of the General Antiparticle Spectrometer (GAPS) experiment have been produced by Shimadzu Corporation. The GAPS Si(Li) detectors will form the first large-area, relatively high-temperature Si(Li) detector system with sensitivity to X-rays to operate at high altitude. These 10 cm-diameter, 2.5 mm-thick, 4- or 8-strip detectors provide the active area, X-ray absorption efficiency, energy resolution, and particle tracking capability necessary for the GAPS exotic-atom particle identification technique. In this paper, the detector performance is validated on the bases of X-ray energy resolution and reconstruction of cosmic minimum ionizing particle (MIP) signals. We use the established noise model for semiconductor detectors to distinguish sources of noise due to the detector from those due to signal processing electronics. We demonstrate that detectors with either 4 strips or 8 strips can provide the required ≤4 keV (FWHM) X-ray energy resolution at flight temperatures of -35 to -45°C, given the proper choice of signal processing electronics. Approximately 1000 8-strip detectors will be used for the first GAPS Antarctic balloon flight, scheduled for late 2021., National Science Foundation (U.S.). Very recently, the LHCb collaboration has reported the new result about the hidden-charm pentaquarks: $P_c(4312)$ near the $\bar{D}\Sigma_c$ threshold, and $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ near $\bar{D}^*\Sigma_c$ threshold. We study the heavy quark spin (HQS) multiplet structures of these newly $P_c$ pentaquarks under the heavy quark spin symmetry based on the hadronic molecular picture. We point out that $P_c(4312)$ is the $J^P = 1/2^-$ member of an HQS triplet, and $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ are the $J^P = 3/2^-$ member of the HQS triplet and an HQS singlet with $J^P = 3/2^-$. Namely, the $P_c(4312)$ and one of $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ belong to an HQS triplet. The HQS multiplet structure predicts the existence of $J^P = 5/2^-$ state near $\bar{D}^\ast\Sigma_c^\ast$ threshold., Comment: 4 pages

Neuroendocrine tumor ,Renal carcinoid ,494.9 - Abstract
A 40-year-old woman was referred to our hospital with right lower back pain as the chief complaint. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) showed a partially-solid tumor within a cyst measuring approximately 6 cm in diameter in the right renal hilum. The solid part was enhanced in the early phase and contrast medium was washed out earlier in the solid part than in the parenchyma in the equilibrium phase. Plain CT revealed partial cyst wall calcification. A soft tissue shadow approximately 10 mm in diameter in the dorsal inferior vena cava at the upper pole of the kidney and a solid tumor adjacent to the iliopsoas muscle and the kidney were detected. We performed radical nephrectomy and lymph node dissection with transperitoneal approach. The histopathological diagnosis was neuroendocrine tumor. Her clinical course has since been observed on an outpatient basis, for nearly 10 months to date, without any recurrence.

We study the structure of heavy quark spin (HQS) multiplets for heavy meson-baryon molecular states in a coupled system of $\bar{P}^{(*)}\Sigma_{Q}^{(*)}$, with constructing the one-pion exchange potential with S-wave orbital angular momentum. Using the light cloud spin basis, we find that there are four types of HQS multiplets classified by the structure of heavy quark spin and light cloud spin. The multiplets which have attractive potential are determined by the sign of the coupling constant for the heavy meson-pion interactions. Furthermore, the difference in the structure of light cloud spin gives the restrictions of the decay channel, which implies that the partial decay width has the information for the structure of HQS multiplets. This behavior is more likely to appear in hidden-bottom sector than in hidden-charm sector., Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures

We report of a case of Graves’ ophthalmopathy presented solely with symptoms of the eyes with normal thyroid function tests and negative immunoreactive TSH receptor autoantibody. 40-year-old male was referred to our hospital due to 2-month history of ocular focusing deficit without any signs or symptoms of hyper- or hypothyroidism. Serum thyroid function tests and 99mTc uptake were both within the normal range. Anti-thyroid autoantibodies were all negative except for the cell-based assay for serum TSH receptor stimulating activity. Since orbital CT scan and MRI gave typical results compatible with Graves’ ophthalmopathy, we treated the patients with corticosteroid pulse therapy and orbital radiation therapy, leading to a partial improvement of the symptoms. This case gives insights into the potential pathophysiologic mechanism underlying Graves’ ophthalmopathy and casts light upon the difficulties of establishing the diagnosis in a euthyroid case with minimal positive results for anti-thyroid autoantibodies.

We study hadronic molecular states in a coupled system of $J/\psi N - \Lambda_c\bar{D}^{(*)} - \Sigma_c^{(*)}\bar{D}^{(*)}$ in $I(J^P) = \frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^-)$ channel, using the complex scaling method combined with the Gaussian expansion method. We construct the potential including one pion exchange and one $D^{(*)}$ meson exchange with $S$-wave orbital angular momentum. We find that the both mass and width of the pentaquark $P_c(4380)$ can be reproduced within a reasonable parameter region, and that its main decay mode is $\Lambda_c\bar{D}^*$. We extend our analysis to a coupled system of $\Lambda_c D^{(*)} - \Sigma_c^{(*)}D^{(*)}$ in $I(J^P) = \frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^-)$ channel. We find that there exists a doubly charmed baryon of $ccqq\bar{q}$ type as a hadronic molecule, the mass and width of which are quite close to those of $P_c(4380)$., Comment: 6 pages
