The experiments were conducted at Agro Climate Research Centre, TNAU, Coimbatore. Calibration and validation of AquaCrop model was done using Winter and Kharif, 2022 data. Calibration showed that AquaCrop accurately simulated the canopy cover by low RMSE≤13.1%, good E≤0.76, high d≤0.94 and high R2 values ≥0.98 and biomass development by low RMSE≤13.2%, high E≤0.92, good d≤0.68 and high R2 values ≥0.95. During calibration, model well-simulated the CC under second sowing (D2) and biomass under third sowing (D3). Validation showed almost good fit of CC by low RMSE≤22.0%, good E≤0.68, high d≤0.84 and high R2 values ≥0.97 and biomass development with low RMSE≤7.1%, good E≤0.66, good d≤0.60 and high R2 values ≥0.98. During Validation, model well-simulated the CC and biomass under third sowing (D3). Model showed good fit of yield during first sowing window (D1) with a less deviation for both calibration and validation (15.6% and 5.8% respectively). From the result it could be concluded that sowing windows influence on baby corn production was accurately simulated using AquaCrop during calibration (R2=0.94) and validation (R2=0.98). Hence, AquaCrop proved to be a feasible tool for maximizing the Baby corn yield under different sowing windows.

Up to now, utmost being steganalytic styles are designed for grayscale images, and they aren't suitable for color images that are extensively used in current social networks. To begin with, we divide the input image based on the different embedding spaces of its colors, resulting in three separate channels.. The proposed system includes preprocessing, convolutional, and bracket modules. To save the steganographic vestiges in each color channel, in preprocessing module, we originally separate the input image into three channels according to the corresponding embedding spaces(i.e RGB for spatial steganography and YCbCr for JPEG steganography), and also prize the image residuals with 62 fixed high- pass pollutants, eventually concatenated all abbreviated residuals for posterior analysis analysis rather than adding them together with normal complication like being CNN- grounded steganalyzers. To accelerate the network confluence and effectively reduce the number of parameters, in convolutional module, we precisely design three types of layers with different roadway connections and group complication structures to further learn high- position steganalytic features. Drowsy driving is one of the major causes of road accidents and death. Hence, detection of driver's fatigue and its indication is an active research area. Most of the conventional methods are either vehicle based, or behavioral based or physiological based. Few methods are intrusive and distract the driver, some require expensive sensors and data handling. Therefore, in my literature survey, a low cost, real time driver's drowsiness detection system is developed with acceptable accuracy. The proposed work mainly focus on a webcam records the video and driver's face is detected in each frame employing image processing techniques. Facial landmarks on the detected face are pointed and subsequently the eye aspect ratio is computed and depending on their values, drowsiness is detected based on developed adaptive thresholding. Machine learning algorithms have been implements as well in an offline manner

Artificial intelligence (AI) and digital innovation are transforming healthcare. Technologies such as machine learning in image analysis, natural language processing in medical chatbots and electronic medical record extraction have the potential to improve screening, diagnostics and prognostication, leading to precision medicine and preventive health. However, it is crucial to ensure that AI research is conducted with scientific rigour to facilitate clinical implementation. Therefore, reporting guidelines have been developed to standardise and streamline the development and validation of AI technologies in health. This commentary proposes a structured approach to utilise these reporting guidelines for the translation of promising AI techniques from research and development into clinical translation, and eventual widespread implementation from bench to bedside. Soft-tissue sarcomas (STS) are a rare and heterogeneous group of tumors that arise from connective tissue and can occur anywhere in the body. Among the plethora of over 50 different STS types, liposarcoma (LPS) is one of the most common. The subtypes of STS are characterized by distinct differences in tumor biology that drive responses to pharmacologic therapy and disparate oncologic outcomes. Small non-coding RNAs (sncRNA) are a heterogeneous class of regulatory RNAs involved in the regulation of gene expression by targeting mRNAs. Among the several types of sncRNAs, miRNAs and tRNA-derived ncRNAs are the most studied in the context of tumor biology, and we are learning more about the role of these molecules as important regulators of STS tumorigenesis and differentiation. However, challenges remain in translating these findings and no biomarkers or therapeutic approaches targeting sncRNAs have been developed for clinical use. In this review, we summarize the current landscape of sncRNAs in the context of STS with an emphasis on LPS, including the role of sncRNAs in the tumorigenesis and differentiation of these rare malignancies and their potential as novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Finally, we provide an appraisal of published studies and outline future directions to study sncRNAs in STS, including tRNA-derived ncRNAs.

The leaf spring's purpose is to stabilize the vehicle because it’s an essentially required element for the suspension systems and assists in supporting the entire load on the vehicle. Hence, the design and analysis of leaf springs are the main focus of this study. To that aim, the CATIA V5 software is used to construct the model, and Ansys Workbench is used to perform static structural analysis. First, the solution is verified using the analytical method and the finite element analysis for structural steel, and then the static structural analysis of structural steel and composite material (CFRP) is compared for the same design. Here, we find that the deformation and stress values of the Composite material are less than that of structural steel.

Temperature determines the plant's growth and development, which decides the onset of different phenophasic stages of the Baby corn. This study aimed to evaluate the phenological behaviour and yield of Baby corn (Zea mays L.) influenced by sowing windows and heat units with the field investigations carried out during winter (January – April) and kharif (June – September) 2022 at Eastern Block Farm of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Growing Degree Days (GDD), Photo Thermal Units (PTU), Helio Thermal Units (HTU), Relative Temperature Disparity (RTD), Heat Unit Efficiency (HUE) and seasonal efficiency were calculated at different phenological stages. The results revealed that early attainment of phenophases was noticed during winter (62.5 days - January 21st to 27th April) than kharif (77.1 days – 15th June to 4th October). Among seasons, higher accumulation of GDD (1553) and PTU (19099) was observed during kharif 2022, whereas maximum accumulation of HTU (9923) and RTD (2146) was observed in winter 2022. Seasonal efficiency was higher during kharif (118) than during the winter season (81). The sowing windows significantly influenced the higher accumulation of heat units and yield attributes. Hence, higher yield (11922.7 kg ha-1) and HUE (7.3) were obtained during kharif than in winter 2022 (yield – 7849 kg ha-1 and HUE – 5.8). Weather parameters showed a negative correlation except RH-I, WS, SR and HUE during winter 2022 (R2=0.802) and RH-II, WS, RF, Daylength, HUE during kharif 2022, which had a positive correlation (R2=0.795). Baby corn is highly sensitive to increasing temperature. Hence, the study expresses the effect of varying ambient temperature on the duration between the phenological stages and yield.

The main objective of this project is to produce a composite using waste and non-biodegradable materials which can be utilized for many applications such as parcel shelves, cabin linings, electrical appliances, window covers etc. Due to high fuel prices, the operation management cost of the aircraft industry has gone high. So, to minimize the cost of management by reducing weight of aircraft components, we can use low-cost composite material developed by using waste and non-biodegradable materials. This work describes the hand lay-up process of the biodegradable & non-biodegradable composite using bagasse fibers, plastic fibers, and the polymer matrix, with different composition of fiber matrix combination and different testing such as tensile, compressive, impact, hardness and vibration testing has been conducted to study the characteristics of developed composite material. As it is an eco-friendly approach, this will in turn help us to clean our earth to some extent. This obtained product has good strength to weight ratio, tensile strength, compressive strength, Impact strength, electric resistance, low cost & ease of fabrication etc.

The skin is the most voluminous organ of the human body and is exposed to the outer environment. Such exposed skin suffers from the effects of various intrinsic and extrinsic aging factors. Skin aging is characterized by features such as wrinkling, loss of elasticity, and skin pigmentation. Skin pigmentation occurs in skin aging and is caused by hyper-melanogenesis and oxidative stress. Protocatechuic acid (PCA) is a natural secondary metabolite from a plant-based source widely used as a cosmetic ingredient. We chemically designed and synthesized PCA derivatives conjugated with alkyl esters to develop effective chemicals that have skin-whitening and antioxidant effects and enhance the pharmacological activities of PCA. We identified that melanin biosynthesis in B16 melanoma cells treated with alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) is decreased by PCA derivatives. We also found that PCA derivatives effectively have antioxidant effects in HS68 fibroblast cells. In this study, we suggest that our PCA derivatives are potent ingredients for developing cosmetics with skin-whitening and antioxidant effects.

Background: Phyllodes tumors (PT) are rare biphasic neoplastic breast lesions. They account for 0.3–0.5% of female breast tumours1 and have an incidence of about 2.1 per million, the peak of which occurs in women aged 45–49 years. There is sometimes difficulty in dividing tumors into the three recognized grades based on histomorphological features. It is because of the subjective variation and absence of a definitive grading system. More importantly, they do not always correlate with clinical outcome in terms of predicting recurrence, malignant transformation, metastasis, and overall survival. Aims and Objectives: (1) The aim of the study was to study the clinicopathological and histomorphological features of the PT and classify the tumors based on 2019 WHO classification. Materials and Methods: This study was done in the Department of Pathology at Government General Hospital Nizamabad. Total 68 cases are included in this study over a period of 5 years (3 1⁄2 years retrospective and 11/2 year prospective) from 2017 March to 2022 March. PT cases were analyzed based on 2019 WHO classification criteria. The age of the patients, tumor locations, and the relevant details were obtained from the pathology records. Results: Of the 68 PT cases, 53 (78%) were classified as benign, 8 (12%) borderline and 7 (10%) malignant PT based on histomorphological features based on 2019 WHO classification. Conclusion: Our study showed that tumors occurring in older age group with a large tumor size and the presence of malignant heterologous elements, infiltrating borders, and surgical margins

Bilharzia and intestinal worms are public health problems in Cote dIvoire. The health authorities are trying to control these diseases. However, it is difficult to identify outbreaks. This study was therefore initiated for this purpose. The objective was to assess the prevalence of these parasites, to map outbreaks of bilharzia and to determine the nature of the biotopes in which these diseases develop. The study was carried out in the department of Agboville. It consisted of researching high-risk households by means of a questionnaire. Parasitological examinations of urine by filtration and of stools by Kato-katz were carried out on 50 pupils per school per locality in 30 localities to find out the real prevalence of the outbreaks. A questionnaire was used to detect the nature of potential transmission sites.A total of 16.740 pupils were interviewed. Of these, 4.377 reported having urinary bilharzia and 5.542 reported blood in the urine. The urine of 1.503 pupils were examined, 26.2% of pupils had Schistosoma haematobium and 40% of the schools were hyperendemic. Schools with moderate or low prevalence were less than 10. 3.084 reported intestinal bilharzia compared to 4.361 cases of blood in the stool. A total of 693 pupils had at least one parasite. The pupils were infected with five different intestinal parasites. Both urinary (26.16%) and intestinal (15.01%) bilharziasis were very important in the department, rivers and marigots were the most at risk environments as they were present in 61.5% of the localities with hyperendemic foci.

The thermal history of asteroids is recorded by the radioisotopic ages of meteorites that derive from them. Radioisotopic ages may date a number of events, such as the cooling of a parent body during waning radiogenic metamorphism, rapid cooling experienced upon parent body break- up, and/or subsequent collision-induced reheating of material. However, sampling statistics for meteorite radioisotope ages are currently relatively low and most are derived from analyses of bulk material, therefore lacking the in-situ microtextural context that aids in distinguishing collisional events. Here, we present new in-situ apatite U-Pb ages for nine L chondrite meteorites using secondary ionisation mass spectrometry. Our measurements greatly expand the L chondrite phosphate U-Pb age record and provide evidence for distinct stages in the thermal evolution of the L chondrite parent asteroid, including: early collisions driving parent body fragmentation- and/or exhumation-associated cooling at > 4530 Ma; onion-shell-style cooling with waning radiogenic metamorphism until 4500 Ma; late collisional reheating from 4480–4460 Ma; parent body break-up at 474 ± 22 Ma; and recent ejection events within several 10s of Myr of present day. We show that meteorite shock stage correlates strongly with upper intercept age but is uncorrelated with lower intercept age. This outcome links the upper intercept ages alone to the preserved high-energy features in strongly shocked meteorites, which has important implications for our interpretation of the L chondrite U-Pb record. We see no evidence in our record for collisional episodes between 3000–4400 Ma, i.e., ‘late heavy bombardment’. Our upper intercept age record hints that collision rates changed as a result of some dynamical instability at 4460–4480 Ma, which may have strongly depleted the main asteroid belt, and/or that L asteroid physical structure changed such that the shock metamorphic response to collisions was muted after this time, e.g., by the formation of weak rubble pile bodies. L chondrite phosphate U-Pb ages provide evidence for a heterogeneous early and shared late (less than 500 Ma) thermal history for the majority of L chondrite meteorites falling to Earth today. From this observation, we infer that most L chondrites derive from a single parent asteroid (in existence from around 4500–4440 Ma to 474 ± 22 Ma), which has since been disturbed to create an asteroid family. Our record of meteorite U-Pb ages traces out the thermal and dynamical evolution of the L chondrite asteroid. These observations can be used in future to benchmark dynamical models of Solar System evolution.

In a special run of the LHC with $$\beta ^{\star } = 2.5$$ β ⋆ = 2.5 km, proton–proton elastic-scattering events were recorded at $$\sqrt{s} = 13$$ s = 13 TeV with an integrated luminosity of $$340~\upmu {\text {b}}^{-1}$$ 340 μ b - 1 using the ALFA subdetector of ATLAS in 2016. The elastic cross section was measured differentially in the Mandelstam t variable in the range from $$-t = 2.5 \cdot 10^{-4}$$ - t = 2.5 · 10 - 4 GeV$$^{2}$$ 2 to $$-t = 0.46$$ - t = 0.46 GeV$$^{2}$$ 2 using 6.9 million elastic-scattering candidates. This paper presents measurements of the total cross section $$\sigma _{\text {tot}}$$ σ tot , parameters of the nuclear slope, and the $$\rho $$ ρ -parameter defined as the ratio of the real part to the imaginary part of the elastic-scattering amplitude in the limit $$t \rightarrow 0$$ t → 0 . These parameters are determined from a fit to the differential elastic cross section using the optical theorem and different parameterizations of the t-dependence. The results for $$\sigma _{\text {tot}}$$ σ tot and $$\rho $$ ρ are $$\begin{aligned} \sigma _{\text {tot}}(pp\rightarrow X) = 104.7 \pm 1.1 \; \text{ mb },\quad \rho = 0.098 \pm 0.011 . \end{aligned}$$ σ tot ( p p → X ) = 104.7 ± 1.1 mb , ρ = 0.098 ± 0.011 . The uncertainty in $$\sigma _{\text {tot}}$$ σ tot is dominated by the luminosity measurement, and in $$\rho $$ ρ by imperfect knowledge of the detector alignment and by modelling of the nuclear amplitude.

This 62-year-old female patient case study describes physiotherapy rehabilitation exercises of stage 4 osteoarthritis in the post-operative phase. The patient has pain, symptoms, decreased adl activities and decreased quality of life (study measures completely done by Koos scale). Following surgical managed total knee replacement patient gets better with her symptomatically level and this study tells the importance of replacing knee joint in time as suggested by an orthopaedic surgeon, else there would be a marked functional outcome limitation of the patient. It also emphasis on the importance of physiotherapy and maintaining the operative knee joint in long term care.

Limbah plastik dapat ditransformasikan menjadi produk komersil. Hal ini dapat diciptakan dengan cara mengolah limbah tersebut menjadi berbagai kerajinan. Ketimbang menjadi masalah bagi lingkungan, limbah di Dusun Lengkese berpotensi untuk dioleh dan dijadikan sebagai kerajinan bagi warga Dusun Lengkese, hingga pada akhirnya diharapkan untuk dapat menghasilkan tambahan pendapatan bagi masyarakat itu sendiri. Daur ulang limbah rumah tangga yang diolah dapat mengatasi dan mengurangi pengangguran atau menciptakan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat sekitar. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada pemerintah kota Dusun Lengkese tentang cara menangani limbah plastik untuk berbagai kerajinan. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, penduduk yang berdomisili di Dusun Lengkese Kabupaten Gowa dibagi menjadi kelompok pengrajin kemudian dilatih keterampilan membuat berbagai produk kerajinan dari sampah plastik. Juga, sebagian penduduk juga dispesialisasikan ke dalam kelompok yang bertugas untuk memasarkan produk dari kelompok pengrajin. Selain kegiatan dalam bentuk pelatihan memproduksi bahan kerajinan, kelompok-kelompok ini juga menerima materi pelatihan tentang pengelolaan kelompok usaha bersama. Kelompok dapat berkolaborasi atau mencari pengganti dari lembaga lain seperti koperasi atau bank untuk menjamin kelangsungan usaha. Produk-produk yang dibuat oleh kelompok masyarakat tersebut diharapkan akan digunakan langsung oleh kelompok pemuda Dusun Lengkese dan dapat dikomersialkan kepada masyarakat di desa Lengkese. Pada akhirnya, dalam jangka panjang, produk tersebut diharapkan akan dapat dipasarkan di luar Dusun Lengkese.

Rasa Bhasma is a Herbo-Mineral preparation mentioned by Shri Anantadeva Soori in his textbook Rasa Chintamani in the context of Parada Marana. Owing to its Hepato-protective indication, it was prepared as per the conventional method and was subjected to various physico-chemical parameters, assessment of inorganic elements, SEM EDAX and ICP-OES for the determination of Mercury. Results revealed that Rasa Bhasma was tasteless, grey coloured smooth powder having alkaline nature insoluble in water and alcohol but sparingly soluble in Chloroform with values total ash- 88.10%, acid insoluble ash- 83.03%, loss on drying-0.675%. Amongst inorganic elements, sodium, chlorides and sulphates were found to be present in the Bhasma. SEM/EDAX spectra show the results of Mercury, Sulphur, Carbon, Oxygen, in various spectrums. The % of Mercury is maximum i.e., between 65-75% each. Sulphur varies from 25-30%. Carbon is rich in quantity varying from 25-30%. In all the Spectrums, Mercury is associated with Sulphur, forming a major peak and small Mercurial peaks are also seen along with small peaks of carbon. 98.3% mg/kg Mercury was found to be present in the Rasa Bhasma by ICP-OES analysis. Physico- chemical parameters of Rasa Bhasma were found to be within normal limits concluding that the prepared Rasa Bhasma was of standard quality.

This descriptive-correlational study analyzed the guidance and counseling (GC) needs of the Junior High School (JHS) students in Iloilo City in order to develop a comprehensive program that would contextually address their needs. The study used a standardized Students Counseling Needs Questionnaire. It has 81 items divided into four domains: Academic, Personal/Social, Career, and Social Responsibility. 267 students participated in the survey representing 10 purposively-selected JHSs in the city. Statistical tools used for analysis are Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis Test, and Spearman’s Rho at 5% confidence level for non-parametric inferential computations; while mean and standard deviation were used for descriptive analysis. Results revealed the following: Public Schools have Higher Perceived Needs for Guidance Counseling (HPNGC) than Private Schools; the higher the age of the students, the higher the Higher Perceived Need for Guidance Counseling; there is no significant difference in terms of parents’ educational status and occupation; there is a high significant difference between Public Schools and Private School in terms of Higher Perceived Needs for Guidance Counseling in Personal/Social Needs. The results showed that the needs of Junior High school students in Iloilo City are ranked as follows: Career, Social /Personal, Academic and Social Responsibility. With this, a 100-page expert-validated Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program (CGCP) was contextually designed for Iloilo City JHS students following a 4-pronged framework with focus on themes: Career, Personal/Social, Academic, and Social Responsibility. Further studies must be done in terms of the specific areas of concern affecting JHS students of Iloilo City and other similar areas where a program can be built upon making the offerings more purposive and contextual.

Introduction: Pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) is an important cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality affecting 5-10% of pregnancies. PIH is more frequently associated with elevated TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone). Thyroid dysfunction plays an important role in the development of gestational hypertension. However, this relationship remains unclear. The study was performed to evaluate the thyroid status in pregnant women with PIH and normal pregnant women. Methodology: This was a hospital based observational case control study done in Dr M K Shah Medical College, Ahmedabad. Total 100 pregnant women were included, out of them 50 PIH women were included in the case study group and 50 normotensive healthy pregnant women were included in the control group. After taking written consent, thyroid profile (TSH, free T3 and free T4) were measured in all 100 subjects. Results: Women with PIH had higher TSH levels and lower free T3 and free T4 as compared to normotensive pregnant women. There was a significant association between hypothyroidism and PIH cases. There was a significant positive correlation between TSH and systolic BP (r=0.42) and diastolic BP (r=0.52). Conclusion: PIH women are at greater risk of decreased thyroid function. Therefore, PIH women should be monitored for thyroid levels regularly.

Rainfall during a cyclonic event is very high compared to the monsoon seasons, which bring heavy damage to the lives of humans and cattle and other severe bruises. To prevent such conditions, accurate prediction of rainfall is necessary. Before prediction, there should be adequate knowledge about how rainfall is distributed spatially, how it varies from time to time, etc., This study attempts to infer the rainfall distribution during GAJA cyclone over the Indian region with the INSAT-3D IMAGER data. The IMRSRA and IMC (IMSRA-Modified) datasets are used for rainfall retrieval during landfall of GAJA cyclone, which is of 0.10 X 0.10 spatial resolution and temporal resolution of 30min. An IMSRA-Merged data product is derived from the IMC dataset. The obtained result is validated by the IMD rain gauge data, global data products such as IMERG and GSMaP. The performance of IMSRA-Merged is good compared to all other datasets that show reliable rainfall and a good correlation (>0.5).

Objective: To study the anatomical status and functional outcome of Pars Plana Vitrectomy surgery in rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) at a tertiary eye care center in India. Material, Patients and Method: This is a prospective, noncomparative, consecutive, interventional study of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment managed with Pars Plana Vitrectomy surgery performed in the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Prayagraj, India. 40 patients of 40 eyes (26 phakic 65%, 14 pseudophakic 35%) with retinal detachment were treated by primary pars plana vitrectomy with 6 months of follow-up. Result: A total of 40 patients (40 eyes) were operated, 18 males and 2 females, with age, ranges from 17 years to 90 years. After surgery, anatomically retinal reattachment was achieved in 40 (100%). Improved best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was seen in 38 (90%) patients, whereas in 2 (5%) patient BCVA was not improving and deteriorated from pre-operative in another 2 (5%) patient. There was no significant difference was found in the pseudophakic and phakic eye in functional outcome. Conclusion: Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment is one of the common causes of visual impairment and blindness. Timely surgical management with Pars Plana Vitrectomy surgery can give good anatomical and visual outcome.

Based on the significance value of the coefficients table, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, so it was concluded that the Electronic Archive Management Book variable had an effect on the student learning outcomes variable. Based on the t value: it is known that the t count value is 8.295 > t table 1.978, so it can be concluded that the Electronic Archive Management Book variable (X) has an effect on the Learning Outcome variable (Y).

In our 2020 consensus paper, we devised ten recommendations for conducting Complex Innovative Design (CID) trials to evaluate cancer drugs. Within weeks of its publication, the UK was hit by the first wave of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Large CID trials were prioritised to compare the efficacy of new and repurposed COVID-19 treatments and inform regulatory decisions. The unusual circumstances of the pandemic meant studies such as RECOVERY were opened almost immediately and recruited record numbers of participants. However, trial teams were required to make concessions and adaptations to these studies to ensure recruitment was rapid and broad. As these are relevant to cancer trials that enrol patients with similar risk factors, we have added three new recommendations to our original ten: employing pragmatism such as using focused information sheets and collection of only the most relevant data; minimising negative environmental impacts with paperless systems; and using direct-to-patient communication methods to improve uptake. These recommendations can be applied to all oncology CID trials to improve their inclusivity, uptake and efficiency. Above all, the success of CID studies during the COVID-19 pandemic underscores their efficacy as tools for rapid treatment evaluation.

We present the highest fidelity spectrum to date of a planetary-mass object. VHS 1256 b is a M Jup widely separated (∼8″, a = 150 au), young, planetary-mass companion that shares photometric colors and spectroscopic features with the directly imaged exoplanets HR 8799c, d, and e. As an L-to-T transition object, VHS 1256 b exists along the region of the color–magnitude diagram where substellar atmospheres transition from cloudy to clear. We observed VHS 1256 b with JWST's NIRSpec IFU and MIRI MRS modes for coverage from 1 to 20 μm at resolutions of ∼1000–3700. Water, methane, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sodium, and potassium are observed in several portions of the JWST spectrum based on comparisons from template brown dwarf spectra, molecular opacities, and atmospheric models. The spectral shape of VHS 1256 b is influenced by disequilibrium chemistry and clouds. We directly detect silicate clouds, the first such detection reported for a planetary-mass companion.

Promote the change from genetic counselling carried out in preconception and prenatal check-ups, to genetic counselling provided by midwives themselves and at the same level of care with an open perspective to multiculturalism and plurality. This would mean improving primary care for women and their families, with a cost-effective activity practised by midwives. However, considering the experience of other countries where midwives undertake this activity, we believe it is essential that within the midwife's training in sexual and reproductive health, there is a high component of training in genetics in order to be able to carry out this task with the safety and effectiveness required by this change in care. This paper presents studies of Bose-Einstein correlations (BEC) in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, using data from the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. Data were collected in a special low-luminosity configuration with a minimum-bias trigger and a high-multiplicity track trigger, accumulating integrated luminosities of 151 $\mu$b$^{-1}$ and 8.4 nb$^{-1}$ respectively. The BEC are measured for pairs of like-sign charged particles, each with $|\eta|$ < 2.5, for two kinematic ranges: the first with particle $p_T$ > 100 MeV and the second with particle $p_T$ > 500 MeV. The BEC parameters, characterizing the source radius and particle correlation strength, are investigated as functions of charged-particle multiplicity (up to 300) and average transverse momentum of the pair (up to 1.5 GeV). The double-differential dependence on charged-particle multiplicity and average transverse momentum of the pair is also studied. The BEC radius is found to be independent of the charged-particle multiplicity for high charged-particle multiplicity (above 100), confirming a previous observation at lower energy. This saturation occurs independent of the transverse momentum of the pair.

The research method in making flour uses variations in temperature and different drying times. Parameters to determine the difference from flour include water content, yield, and color. The results showed that the production of pumpkin flour started from cleaning the skin and seeds, washing, weighing, cutting into thin slices, drying, and sifting. The results of the analysis of the water content of 40oC treatment for 48 hours is 19.92%, 50oC treatment for 36 hours is 11.63%, and 60oC treatment for 24 hours is 10.36%, pumpkin flour yield is 51.56%, 17, 71%, and 14.63%, while the color analysis of the 40oC treatment was significantly different from the 50oC and 60oC treatment. Of the three treatments, 60oC was the best treatment.

Background: The incidence of anomalous kidney varies from 3-11%. Various types of anomalous kidneys exist like simple ectopic kidney, malrotated kidney, horse-shoe kidney, crossed fused ectopia, kidneys with duplex system and pelvic kidney etc. Treatment of stone disease in such kidneys is a bit different because of abnormal orientation of kidney, abnormally placed calyces and high incidence of abnormal renal vessels. Various options to deal with the stone in such kidneys include – ESWL, RIRS, PCNL, laproscopy assisted PCNL and laproscopic/robotic pyelolithotomy. Among these, PCNL is one of the recommended modalities to deal with stone disease in anomalous kidneys with the highest success rate for stone clearance. Primary aim of the study was to assess the success of PCNL in anomalous kidneys in terms of the stone clearance. Secondary aims were perioperative and postoperative complications. Methods: This retrospective study was done in SMBT IMS & RC, Nashik, India from August 2016 to July 2021. All patients were evaluated preoperatively with history, clinical examination, and blood and urine investigations, X-ray KUB, USG KUB, CT KUB and IVP. For statistical analysis, SPSS 19.0 software was used. We used standard PCNL technique of puncture followed by serial dilatation of the tract to the desired size. Minimum size of Amplatz sheath used was 20 Fr and maximum were 26 Fr. Results: Total 29 sessions of PCNL was done in 26 patients. Mean age of the patients were 30.6 years and duration of symptoms was 1-2 years. Mean haemoglobin drop was 0.8mg/dl with only three patients requiring blood transfusion. The operating time ranged from 80-120 minutes and average hospital stay was 3.8 days. Clavein grade 1 and grade 2 complications were recorded and were managed conservatively. Overall, the stone free rate immediately after surgery was 92.3% and 100% after 3 months for stone less than 4mm. Conclusion: PCNL in anomalous kidneys is technically demanding procedure but it gives much better results when compared other modalities of treatment. It is as safe as the PCNL done for a normal situated and oriented kidney. Infact, it increases the surgeon’s skills and make him more demanding for the complex cases.

Rainfall intensity due to cyclonic events is very high compared to the monsoon rain, causing heavy damage to the lives of humans and cattle and another severe bruise. To minimize such damages, accurate prediction of rainfall is necessary. Adequate knowledge about the spatial distribution of precipitation and its temporal variation is essential for any analysis. The study aims at predicting the rainfall resulting from the tropical cyclone (TC) to help any relief activity or preparation of disaster mitigation plans. The detailed definition, classification, and conditions necessary for the cyclone to occur are discussed in the study to know how a hurricane originates, grows, and dissipates. GIS-based mean rainfall along the track of TC is derived from TRMM-3B42 data to develop a relationship between the cyclonic parameters and rainfall. This correlation helps to assess its impact and behaviour. A generalized regression model is developed with the sensitive parameters of TC-induced rainfall and cyclonic variables like wind speed, location, pressure, and precipitation to predict future events with predictors as the cyclonic parameters and rainfall as the response. Rainfall variability from 2008-2017 is analyzed. 2/3rd of the data (from 2008 -17) is used in analyzing part and the remaining for validation. The prediction for the GAJA cyclone resulted in a correlation value of 0.8 and 0.72 for the 16th and 17th of November 2018. The results show that the predicted value is almost the same as the actual value of rainfall that has occurred.

Climate change is resulting in decreased sea ice extent and increased industrial activity in Arctic regions. In northern Alaska, USA, sea ice loss has increased the frequency of land-based polar bear Ursus maritimus maternal dens, leading to greater potential for overlap between industrial activities and denning bears. Responses of denning bears to human disturbance could result in costly reproductive outcomes, although observation of these responses is logistically challenging and expensive. We developed a method to standardize the process of classifying the response of denning polar bears to disturbance using decision rules based on polar bear biology and denning chronology. We applied this method to 46 maternal polar bear dens exposed to human activity (e.g. vehicle traffic, ground-based monitoring). Because the timing of disturbance influences the response and subsequent fitness consequences, we determined outcomes specific to 4 denning periods: (1) den establishment (excavation to cub birth); (2) early denning (cub birth to 60 d old); (3) late denning (60 d old to emergence); and (4) post-emergence (emergence to den site departure). We classified the outcomes of 79 exposures as 37 having ‘no documented effect’ (no observed response), 7 as ‘behavioral’ (observed behavioral disruption), 17 as ‘early emergence’ (den emergence occurring earlier than an undisturbed emergence), 14 as ‘early departure’ (den site abandonment post-emergence earlier than if undisturbed), and 4 as ‘cub mortality’ (death or abandonment of ≥1 cub). Outcomes with potential fitness consequences occurred in every denning period. Our classification method facilitated a standardized approach that can be used to classify the outcome of den disturbance. Determining outcomes in relation to a specific denning period may facilitate improved implementation of mitigation strategies to reduce disturbance to denning bears.

Legumes play an important role in India’s food security, inflation rate and export values. Climate variability might significantly affect the growth, development and yield of legume crops in various regions of the globe. The present study investigated the long episodes effect of high temperature and CO2 and ambient conditions on leaf photosynthesis and yield attributes of green gram (Vigna radiata) using soil plant atmospheric research (SPAR). Green gram was grown under high day temperature (HDT) (day maximum temperature + 3oC) and elevated CO2 (600ppm) (HDT and eCO2), high day and night temperature (HDNT) (day maximum temperature + 3oC) and elevated CO2 (600ppm) (HDNT and eCO2) and ambient conditions. Leaf photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate and chlorophyll index were significantly (p=0.05) increased by 25%, 24.1%, 23% and 4.6%, respectively, under HDT and eCO2 from 30 to 45 DAS (days after sowing) in comparison with ambient and HDNT and eCO2. The significant increase in number of flowers shed per plant increased under HDNT and eCO2 by 13% during 45 to 60 DAS. The increase in the number of pods per plant and grain yield per plant under HDT and eCO2 during 45 to 60 DAS by 26.9% and 25.7%, respectively. However, the biomass of the green gram was increased under HDNT and eCO2 during 30 to 45 DAS. These studies indicated a significant increase in leaf photosynthesis and yield of green gram under HDT and eCO2 at flower initiation to pod development stage (30 to 60 DAS) followed by HDNT and eCO2 and ambient condition. Overall study indicated that increasing temperature and CO2 would increase the biomass and yield of the green gram.

Proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Sidorejo belum optimal karena masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan penggunaan model pembelajaran discovery learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi sumber energi kelas IV. Data dianalisis secara deskriptifdan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dari pra siklus yaitu jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 13 siswa atau sebesar orang dengan persentase 40,63% dengan rata-rata nilai mencapai 73,69 kurang dari standar nilai ketuntasan yaitu 75. Setelah dilakukan teknik pemberian model pembelajaran discovery learning pada siklus I jumlah siswa tuntas sebanyak 30 orang dengan persentase 93,75% dengan rata-rata nilai 76,94 sudah lebih dari standar nilai ketuntasan yaitu 75, masih terdapat 2 siswa yang belum tuntas. Siklus II menunjukkan semua siswa mendapat nilai tuntas yaitu sebanyak 32 orang dengan persentase 100% dengan rata-rata nilai mencapai 81,91 sudah lebih dari standar nilai ketuntasan yaitu 75. Hasil pada siklus II telah memenuhi standar ketuntasan 100% sehingga penelitian menggunakan model discovery learning dihentikan pada siklus II. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning dapat meningkatan hasil belajar materi sumber energi pada kelas IV SDN 3 Sidorejo.

Large granular lymphocytic leukaemia (LGLL) has been described in a range of species but has been most commonly reported in humans and dogs. In both species, this neoplasia exhibits diversity in both phenotype and biological behaviour with phenotype only partially predicting behaviour. There is currently little knowledge of concurrent haematological and serum biochemistry features or concurrent occurrence of distinct neoplasia in canine LGLL cases. This study presents a canine case series and defines haematological parameters, novel serum biochemistry findings and phenotype of the large granular lymphocytes in an Australian case series. Neutrophilia was the most common haematological abnormality, identified in 43% of dogs, and 84% of dogs with biochemistry data available had elevated serum gamma-glutamyl transferase. Five of the 40 dogs in this study exhibited concurrent neoplasia during the period of the study, demonstrating this is a relatively common clinical outcome in canine LGLL cases. In agreement with previous canine and human studies, the most common LGLL phenotype in dogs is CD3+, CD4- and CD8+. Further work is needed to define the variables predictive of the biological behaviour of LGLL in dogs.

Combining the human waste with the municipal waste would pave way to much needed solid waste management strategy in the urban areas. The co-compost produced out of this can be used successfully for crop production. The objective of this study is to detect the benefits and constraints faced by the farmers in applying the co-compost in the field. 50 farmers used as a sample for the co-compost developed by the Rural Development Organization (RDO), coonoor were taken for this study. To examine the objectives, a well-structured interview schedule was employed and data were obtained through personal interviews. Garret ranking and Percentage analysis were the tools used for the study. This study envisaged that seed germination and good plant growth with increased in quality of vegetables after using the co-compost. The study also found that weed growth and the price of the co-compost are found to be high by the farmers after using the co-compost. Respondents were optimistic about the innovation’s ability to become sustainable and scalable. The positive impact would largely influence food security, women accreditation, income advancement, and soil restoration for the entire region. The innovation also helped vegetable farmers by improving crop yield through the co-compost application, resulting in higher sale prices in the markets.

Here we present a genome-wide association study meta-analysis of up to 125,584 cases and over 2.5 million control individuals across 60 studies from 25 countries, adding 11 genome-wide significant loci compared with those previously identified2. Genes at new loci, including SFTPD, MUC5B and ACE2, reveal compelling insights regarding disease susceptibility and severity. Here we present meta-analyses bringing together 60 studies from 25 countries (Fig. 1 and Supplementary Table 1) for three COVID-19-related phenotypes: (1) individuals critically ill with COVID-19 on the basis of requiring respiratory support in hospital or who died as a consequence of the disease (9,376 cases, of which 3,197 are new in this data release, and 1,776,645 control individuals); (2) individuals with moderate or severe COVID-19 defined as those hospitalized due to symptoms associated with the infection (25,027 cases, 11,386 new and 2,836,272 control individuals); and (3) all cases with reported SARS-CoV-2 infection regardless of symptoms (125,584 cases, 76,022 new and 2,575,347 control individuals). Objectives: COVID-19 pandemic has shown a substantial impact on the entire world both physiologically and psychologically. By the hit of the second wave, which opened dangerous gates for secondary infections, apprehension was carried among health-care sectors. These secondary infections were due to decreased immunity. On the other hand, risk modifiers, such as diabetes and hypertension played a leading role in the mortality rate. A substantial number of studies have not been conducted so far regarding the impact of this second wave on dental healthcare professionals. The present study aimed to evaluate the dental healthcare professionals’ perspective levels during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic through a web-based survey. Material and Methods: A total of 853 responses were gathered by sending 15 questions in Google forms. Data collected were gathered and subjected to statistical analysis, expressed in frequency distribution and Pearson’s Chi-square test was performed. Results: Data obtained and projected that the study population expressed higher anxiety and stress levels, despite which was many of them showed an inclination to work during these tough times. The knowledge about secondary fungal infections like Mucormycosis, which was caused due to immune suppression, was abundant among the participants. A significant proportion conveyed the ill effect of COVID-19 on clinical practice and academics as well. Conclusion: Dental professionals have shown a positive perspective despite of higher stress levels and being a part of frontline workers, they are much primed to assure, educate, and treat the patients amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
