The availability of personal writings in electronic format provides researchers in the fields of linguistics, psychology, and computational linguistics with an unprecedented chance to study, on a large scale, the relationship between language use and the demographic background of writers, allowing us to better understand people across different demographics. In this article, we analyze the relation between language and demographics by developing cross-demographic word models to identify words with usage bias, or words that are used in significantly different ways by speakers of different demographics. Focusing on three demographic categories, namely, location, gender, and industry, we identify words with significant usage differences in each category and investigate various approaches of encoding a word’s usage, allowing us to identify language aspects that contribute to the differences. Our word models using topic-based features achieve at least 20% improvement in accuracy over the baseline for all demographic categories, even for scenarios with classification into 15 categories, illustrating the usefulness of topic-based features in identifying word usage differences. Further, we note that for location and industry, topics extracted from immediate context are the best predictors of word usages, hinting at the importance of word meaning and its grammatical function for these demographics, while for gender, topics obtained from longer contexts are better predictors for word usage.

This paper reports the results of a study conducted to determine the influence of coarse aggregate type on the workability, compressive strength, and flexural strength of normal and high strength concretes with target 28-day compressive strengths of 30 and 60 MPa and two water/cement ratios of 0.44 and 0.27. The concretes were prepared using four types of natural coarse aggregates, namely diabase, calcareous, river gravel, and basalt, with maximum particle sizes of 12.7 and 19.1 millimeters. Silica fume was added to the high-strength concretes at a replacement ratio to Portland cement of 10% by mass. The results showed that among all aggregates, basaltic aggregate with a maximum particle size of 12.7 millimeters produced concrete with the highest compressive and flexural strength, followed by limestone and river aggregate, indicating that particle size, surface texture, structure and mineralogical composition play a dominant role in the behavior of concretes, especially high strength concretes. Normal strength concretes showed similar compressive strengths, while the concrete containing limestone gave slightly higher strength. These results show that for a given water/cementitious material ratio, the influence of the type of coarse aggregate on the compressive strength of the concrete is more important for high strength concrete than for normal strength concrete.

Transfersomes are emerging carriersin transdermal applications owing to numerous benefits like ease of application, reduction in dose frequency, In this review, we will describe about the penetration mechanism of transfersomes, method to prepare the formulation and characterization of transferosomal formulation, like thin film hydration, vortexing sonication, modified handshaking, suspension homogenization, centrifugation, and ethanol injection apart from these characterizations include, vesicle size, shape zeta potential, in vitro, and in vivo to find out the optimized formulation charactering the transferosomal preparations chemical, physical and miscellaneous properties to meet the ideal requirements of formulation and achieve the grater bioavailability and to attain good stability. These formulations are gaining good importance as Novel Drug Delivery Systems because of their patient compliance, ultra deformable and flexible nature due to the presence of surfactants and other pharmaceutical excipients like cholesterol, phospholipids in the formulation; hence these are known as first-generation liposomes.

The purpose of this study is to narrate selected subjects in the search for multi-stakeholder responses (teachers, students, parents of students) for the use of underage motorcycles in the context of SMP Negeri 7 Palangka Raya. This research method uses qualitative research with descriptive research types. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data sources, namely teachers and students at SMP Negeri 7 Palangka Raya. Secondary data sources consist of; books, research journals, websites and documentation that support this research. This data collection technique uses; observation, interviews with multi-stakeholder research subjects including Karkarmat, Rajungan, Jumaika, Irwanman, and Omiasi as well as documentation. This data analysis uses data reduction, data triangulation and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that there is a dilemma between regulatory praxis, violations, awareness of underage motorbike users, parents and teachers through various narratives as research outputs. The next researcher's recommendations are in the form of reprimands or sanctions given by the school for motorcycle users for junior high school students.

Stunting saat ini masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang cukup serius. Indonesia merupakan negara dengan jumlah kasus stunting yang tinggi. untuk dapat menciptakan generasi penerus bangsa yang berkualitas Pemerintah perlu memberikan perhatian khusus pada kasus ini. Nusa Tenggara Barat menjadi salah satu provinsi dengan tingkat kasus stunting yang tinggi. Khususnya di Desa Gunung Malang, kecamatan Pringgabaya, Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Dari data Puskesmas yang didapatkan setelah melakukan observasi, terdapat 47 kasus stunting. Data ini menunjukan bahwa kasus stunting di NTB khususnya Desa Gunung Malang, Kecamatan Pringgabaya masih sangat tinggi. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya pemberdayaan yaitu memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat terkait dengan apa itu stunting, bahaya stunting, cara melakukan perawatan 1000 hari pertama kehidupan bayi. Pendidikan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan demonstrasi pembuatan makanan bergizi bagi ibu hamil dan bayi, dimana makanan bergizi yang diberikan tidak selalu membutuhkan biaya yang mahal akan tetapi dengan memanfaatkan tumbuhan yang banyak tumbuh di sekitar pekarangan rumah dapat di olah menjadi makanan sehat dan bergizi. contohnya daun kelor yang di olah menjadi puding.

El estrés académico ha sido un fenómeno que ha atentado contra la salud mental del estudiantado a nivel mundial, especialmente en los momentos actuales cuando ha cambiado el paradigma educativo debido a la situación de salud mundial. Este estudio se plantea conocer la prevalencia de la frecuencia, los síntomas del estrés académico y las estrategias del afrontamiento de universitarios barranquilleros en tiempos de pandemia, utilizando una metodología descriptiva transversal por medio del cuestionario sisco del estrés académico con una muestra de universitarios barranquilleros. Los resultados muestran que el estrés académico es producido por la sobrecarga de actividades académicas y los tiempos para cumplir con las actividades, llevando a la aparición de síntomas como la ansiedad, la depresión, la irritabilidad, el aumento y ladisminución en la ingesta alimentaria, entre otros, recurriendo a estrategias de afrontamiento como la religiosidad y la defensa de ideas sin dañar a otros. Se hace necesario, entonces, la conformación de programas de prevención y atención al estrés académico acertados para garantizar la salud mental de la comunidad universitaria.

Hepatitis is one of the diseases that has become more developed in recent years in terms of the high number of infections. Hepatitis causes inflammation that destroys liver cells, and it occurs as a result of viruses, bacteria, blood transfusions, and others. There are five types of hepatitis viruses, which are (A, B, C, D, E) according to their severity. The disease varies by type. Accurate and early diagnosis is the best way to prevent disease, as it allows infected people to take preventive steps so that they do not transmit the difference to other people, and diagnosis using artificial intelligence gives an accurate and rapid diagnostic result. Where the analytical method of the data relied on the radial basis network to diagnose the disease, in addition to using the classification of the regression tree as well as the use of the genetic algorithm to improve the classification accuracy of both methods and by comparing the methods used to find out the most efficient methods of classification through criteria. Classification error, mean square root error, and average absolute relative error, and concluded that the experimental results are that the methods are good in terms of classification, as they gave results with less classification of error, and that the radial basis network was superior to the classification regression tree, and that the addition of the genetic algorithm led to an improvement classification accuracy. Hearing loss is a common cause of disability in the global population. The prevalence of hearing loss is estimated to dramatically increase in the next decades with an increase in the number of older people. The fact that hearing loss correlates with aging suggests that age-related hearing loss (presbycusis) will be a critical issue and hearing care will be required. Untreated hearing loss has negative effects at multiple levels, such as hearing loss affecting the quality of life of hearing-impaired individuals, deteriorating family relationships, and interfering with economic growth. Unfortunately, treatments for hearing loss are limited to the use of hearing devices. Studies have shown that the number of hearing aid users is approximately 20% of all hearing-impaired individuals. Therefore, having alternative treatments is critical to reduce the number of people with hearing loss and to prevent a dramatic increase in the number of hearing-impaired individuals. In the future, a potential medication may be aldosterone (ALD). Studies have reported positive effects of ALD treatments on hearing loss in aged mice. ALD treatment in aged mice shows an improvement in hearing sensitivity and a healthier cochlear structure. Although higher ALD concentrations are associated with better hearing sensitivity and hearing in noise ability than lower concentrations, there is no clinical trial in ALD treatment in human has been reported.

This research focuses on testing the cluster of children's rights with indicators of the fulfillment of special protection for children, specifically children in conflict with the law (ABH) as perpetrators; this is based on the fact that a child is at very high risk of being violated by his human rights when he has to be involved in the criminal justice system. The method used is empirical juridical or sociological legal research that examines the legal provisions that apply and what happens in society. The sociological juridical and statutory approach examines all regulations related to the legal issues under study. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively and used the deductive and inductive methods in concluding. The study results show that the fulfillment of special protection rights for children by law enforcement and the Regional Government of Ternate City is not optimal, even though several cases have been handled through a restorative justice approach in handling ABH. The support from the Regional Government of the City of Ternate realizes the fulfillment of ABH rights. It accelerates the status of a Child-Friendly City by providing the necessary facilities such as ABH special needs, special detention cells, recreation activities, social advocacy, accessibility, education, health, religion, and other needs through establishing a Unit. The Technical Implementer of the Area for the Protection of Women and Children (UPTD PPA) is constrained internally and externally, namely the unavailability of the Regional Regulation on Child Protection as a legal basis at the regional level, the unavailability of rehabilitation facilities for drug addict children and the low level of public understanding of the settlement of restorative justice which prioritizes children's interests.

English is not the new subject for students, but it still needs a better preparation in order to make the teaching learning process to be conducted sucsessfully and to reach the quality target. There are many conditions to create a good bilingual Teaching program, the requirements which is in line such as Teacher as a model for the students, their knowledge and ability in implementing the subject in the class. In this reaserch the writer found that the problems encountered by the teachers and students in the bilingual class were: Students found difficulties in developing their four skills of English, most of non English teacher got difficulties in teaching materials using English as the medium of instruction. Based on the experiences above, the writer tried to present illustration of the situation, the problem and how to solve it. To improve the bilingual teaching, Based on the result of the research, the writer suggested to encourage teachers of bilingual class to attend the seminar of English teaching by any institution suitable for their subjects and the teacher should vary their teaching performances in presenting the materials to the students so that the subjects are more understandable by the students. The teacher should use various English textbooks which are suitable with their major to supplement the English textbooks that the students had already got.

La discapacidad intelectual se considera un problema de salud pública global, la prevalencia oscila entre el 1% al 3% de la población mundial, cifra de la que se estima el origen genético estaría representado por el 5-7% de síndromes subteloméricos. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la frecuencia de discapacidad intelectual de etiología genética debida a rearreglos cromosómicos crípticos en 69 pacientes del IDAI. Material y Métodos. Material y Métodos. El estudio descriptivo de corte transversal se realizó en el Instituto de Genética en 69 pacientes con discapacidad intelectual de 5 a 18 años del Instituto de Adaptación Infantil (IDAI). El estudio fue dividido en tres etapas, la primera consistió en la elaboración de la historia clínica genética, seguidamente, se realizó el estudio de cariotipo en sangre periférica a todos los pacientes, finalmente, con la sospecha diagnóstica se realizó citogenética molecular a nueve de ellos, empleando una sonda locus específica. Resultados. Resultados. Se encontró 43.48% de rearreglos cromosómicos, 24.67% correspondió a síndromes crípticos, de estos el 7.25% respondió a síndromes subteloméricos. Se observó mayor afectación en la población masculina: 45 hombres (65%) y 24 mujeres (35%), obteniendo una razón de sexo de 1.88 a favor del sexo masculino. Conclusiones. Conclusiones. Se debe considerar la causa genética en toda discapacidad intelectual idiopática, sobre todo la debida a rearreglos cromosómicos crípticos . .

A 47-year-old female patient with active Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) - skin, joint, hematological, and renal involvement was admitted for rapidly progressive renal failure at the background of very high anti-dsDNA and pANCA antibodies. Active pathogenetic treatment was started pulse therapy with methylprednisolone, intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) and cyclophosphamide, blood transfusions were performed, symptomatic treatment with infusions ad diuretic was initiated. Due to progression of renal failure with volume overload and increase in urea and creatinine levels renal-replacement therapy was initiated. The patient developed E. faecalis and E. durans sepsis with disseminated intravascular coagulation and ground-glass-type lung changes and the condition further deteriorated to fatal multiorgan failure. The authors discuss the role of pANCA antibodies in SLE with renal and lung involvement.

The subglacial drainage system is one of the main controls on basal sliding but remains only partially understood. Here we expand the analysis of the 8-year dataset of borehole observations on a small, alpine polythermal valley glacier in the Yukon Territory. We presented this dataset in Rada and Schoof (2018), where we described the seasonal evolution of the drainage system and underlined the importance of hydraulic isolation at the glacier bed. These borehole observations constitute a unique dataset, both due to the length of the records and the density of the observations, with up to 157 simultaneously working pressure sensors. Now, to explore the spatial structure of the drainage system and its seasonal progression, we automatically cluster boreholes based on similarities in their water pressure records and follow their evolution through the melt season. Some of these borehole clusters show water pressure variations that suggest they are part of a drainage system connected to the surface meltwater supply, while others show features consistent with hydraulic isolation. The distribution of connected and isolated boreholes suggests that the distributed drainage system we observe comprises a network of small conduits with spacings smaller than the borehole bottom diameter (approximately 25–50 cm). Within these hydraulically connected areas, pressure phase lags, and amplitude attenuation rarely shows the behaviour expected in a diffusive system. This observation suggests that the diffusivity distribution in such areas presents a fine structure at scales smaller than our minimum borehole spacing of 15 m. However, at a glacier-wide scale, we observe that hydraulic connections are ubiquitous in some regions of the bed and permanently absent in others, suggesting large contrasts in diffusivity. Within disconnected areas, boreholes often show small-amplitude water pressure variations associated with horizontal normal stress transfers. Such stress transfers seem to play a more important role than previously considered for controlling the effective pressure distribution at the bed. Through the melt season, the evolution of borehole clusters suggests that the diurnal meltwater supply promotes the growth of the low-efficiency drainage systems found early in the season while stimulating the shrinkage and fragmentation of the more efficient drainage systems that appear later in the season. Therefore, an increase in drainage efficiency is associated with the growth of disconnected areas. Our observations support the traditional view of a distributed drainage system early in the melt season that gradually evolves into a progressively more channelized system. However, the most notable difference is the highly heterogeneous distribution of diffusivity that our results suggest and the robust support for disconnected areas. The extent of disconnected areas could be an essential control of basal speed variations. It is possible that even relatively small disconnected areas could have a disproportionate effect on basal speed.

Pendekatan manajemen, metode yang digunakan dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif ini. metode pengumpulan data dengan berbagai instrumen, yaitu: wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi, Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Program MEC memungkinkan Mustahiq di LAZ Yatim Mandiri Medan menjadi mandiri secara ekonomi, menurut penelitian ini. Sebelum mandiri secara ekonomi di LAZ Yatim Mandiri, Mustahiq Melakukan tahapan, yaitu: a) Bimbingan ibadah meliputi pengetahuan tentang zakat, aqidah akhlak, dan membaca Al-Qur'an. Introducción. La COVID-19 es una nueva enfermedad que requería resultados prontos provenientes de la investigación. Un abordaje para la comprensión de su fisiopatología es conocer el daño a nivel histopatológico que genera en los pulmones de los afectados. Objetivo. Proveer un resumen riguroso de la evidencia disponible sobre los hallazgos histopatológicos pulmonares en pacientes con COVID-19. Metodología. Se desarrolló una revisión sistemática con metaanálisis de proporciones. Se incluyeron estudios primarios de cualquier diseño que tuvieran datos primarios de hallazgos histopatológicos de pulmones en pacientes COVID-19. Se excluyeron revisiones y guías. Las fuentes de información fueron el repositorio centralizado Living OVerview of Evidence, PubMed/Medline, LitCovid, la base de datos COVID-19 de la Organización Mundial de la Salud, y medRxiv hasta el 3 de abril 2021. La evaluación del riesgo de sesgos se realizó utilizando las herramientas del Instituto Joanna Briggs para series de casos y reportes de casos. Se extrajo cada dato de hallazgo pulmonar histopatológico. Se calcularon las frecuencias encontradas y los datos de los hallazgos más frecuentes fueron resumidas en metaanálisis usando el método de efectos aleatorios de Der Simmonian-Liard. Se midió la heterogeneidad. Resultados. Los criterios de inclusión fueron cumplidos por 69 artículos sumando 594 sujetos. Presentaron bajo riesgo de sesgos 35 artículos. El metaanálisis de proporciones mostro daño alveolar difuso en 0,62 (IC 95 % 0,51-0,72), I2 59 % (p < 0,01), en su fase temprana (85,14 %). Conclusión. El daño alveolar difuso temprano fue el hallazgo histopatológico más frecuente en muestras pulmonares de pacientes con COVID-19.

The utilization of molecular structure topological indices is currently a standing operating procedure in the structure-property relations research, especially in QSPR/QSAR study. In the past several year, generous molecular topological indices related to some chemical and physical properties of chemical compounds were put forward. Among these topological indices, the VDB topological indices rely only on the vertex degree of chemical molecular graphs. The VDB topological index of an $ n $-order graph $ G $ is defined as \begin{document}$ TI(G) = \sum\limits_{1\leq i\leq j\leq n-1}m_{ij}\psi_{ij}, $\end{document} where $ \{\psi_{ij}\} $ is a set of real numbers, $ m_{ij} $ is the quantity of edges linking an $ i $-vertex and another $ j $-vertex. Numerous famous topological indices are special circumstance of this expression. f-benzenoids are a kind of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, present in large amounts in coal tar. Studying the properties of f-benzenoids via topological indices is a worthy task. In this work the extremum $ TI $ of f-benzenoids with given number of edges were determined. The main idea is to construct f-benzenoids with maximal number of inlets and simultaneously minimal number of hexagons in $ \Gamma_{m} $, where $ \Gamma_{m} $ is the collection of f-benzenoids with exactly $ m $ $ (m\geq19) $ edges. As an application of this result, we give a unified approach of VDB topological indices to predict distinct chemical and physical properties such as the boiling point, $ \pi $-electrom energy, molecular weight and vapour pressure etc. of f-benzenoids with fixed number of edges.

The health crisis, due to the COVID-19 attracts the attention of different kinds of experts, including criminologists. This is because the pandemic has affected one of the main research topics of the criminology – the criminality. In the very beginning of the crisis it has turned out that it would radically change the public and social organization which would inevitably influence the criminal tendencies. A few months after the lockdown in most of the countries one of the main research observation is that crime rates have decreased markedly. The pandemic has shown crime is an extremely dynamic social phenomenon capable to adapt quickly to the social changes. However, could we perceive positively this crime drop or should we regard it with sharp attention and have in mind the eventual social consequences and risks?

The approval of the new Basque Cooperatives Act (Law 11/2019) is an opportunity to address the tax regime applicable to the fund allocated to cooperative education and promotion and other public interest purposes, known by its initials in Spanish as the COFIP. This paper aims to analyse the relevant tax regulations for this fund in the Historical Territories of the Basque Country. The taxation provisions applicable to cooperatives owe their specific character to two elements. Firstly, to the fact that a set of rules is needed to adapt the tax regulations to the characteristics of all cooperative societies, which are different from corporations. Secondly, to the fact that some tax advantages can be enjoyed by those cooperative societies that meet certain requirements. The first applicable rules are the so-called “adjustment rules”. These are particularly relevant to the deductibility as an expense of the amounts allocated to the COFIP. The second rules, namely, the tax advantages for which cooperatives that meet certain requirements are eligible, are also worth discussing, because some of these requirements are linked to the correct application or use of the COFIP.

Az országok, államok közötti határok, illetve az azokon történő átjutás 2015 óta sarkalatos pontját képezik a migrációról folytatott magyarországi médiadiskurzusnak. Jelen tanulmány célja, hogy elsődlegesen a vonatkozó germanisztikai nyelvészeti szakirodalomra támaszkodva, nyelvészeti eszközök segítségével feltárja, mely tudás-, gondolkodás- és értékmintákat közvetített a migrációról folytatott magyar nyelvű sajtódiskurzus a határokról és a határvédelemről 2015-ben. A vizsgálat elméleti és módszertani hátterét a deskriptív nyelvészeti diskurzuselemzés biztosítja, az elemzések a szókincsegységekre fókuszálnak. A vizsgálati korpusz egy tematikus, elektronikus korpusz, amely közel 5000, Magyarországon megjelent online sajtószöveget foglal magába. A korpuszon végzett kvantitatív és kvalitatív elemzések a határ, valamint határkerítés és határzár szavaknak a vizsgált diskurzusban történő nyelvhasználati mintáit tárják fel, amelyekből levezethető, hogy a magyar társadalom hogyan gondolkodik a szavak által jelölt fogalmakról, hogyan viszonyul azok jelöltjeihez.

Background Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) is a radiopaque dermal filler used to provide volume correction in the dorsum of the hand. Objectives The aim of this study was to evaluate whether CaHA implantation in the dorsum of the hand interferes with radiological assessment by obscuring the bones. Methods This 2-year, prospective, single-center, open-label study enrolled 20 subjects with Merz Hand Grading Scale (MHGS) grades ranging from moderate (MHGS 2 or 3; n = 10) to very severe (MHGS 4; n = 10). All subjects received an initial CaHA treatment and were offered up to 3 retreatments to provide volume correction in the dorsum of the hands, over a period of 18 months. Bone obscuration was assessed by blinded, licensed radiologists responsible for interpreting plain radiographs (X-rays). Results CaHA was seen to be present in 100% of hands in Month 1 X-rays and in 83.3% in Month 24 X-rays, but no bone obscuration was reported in any X-rays at any evaluated time point. Conclusions According to blinded radiologists, treatment with CaHA in the dorsum of the hand does not obscure radiographic assessment of the bones seen on X-rays up to 24 months after initial injection. The safety of CaHA retreatment was also demonstrated by the lack of bone obscuration after multiple retreatments.

Phytopathogenic fungi decrease crop yield and quality and cause crop damage. The present work aims to study the effectiveness of certain extracts of medicinal and food plants (EtOH, DCM) that are present in the Republic of Benin on the mycelial growth of toxigenic molds responsible for the degradation of cereals. Ethanol, dichloromethane and aqueous extracts were studied in vitro for their antifungal activities against Fusarium graminearum using microdilution methods. The results show that the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of Ocimum gratissimum essential oil is 2.5μl/ml. Regarding the essential oils of Cymbopogon citractus and Eucalyptus globulus they have a complete inhibition at 0.3μl / ml which is the most concentration tested. Ethanolic and dichloromethane extracts from different plants showed relative growth of about 77.54% for trunk bark and 41.7% for root bark of Anogeisus leiocarpus. The DCM extract of Momordica charantia showed an inhibition of approximately 59.675% at 800μg/ml. The essential oils Cymbopogon citractus, Eucalyptus globulus, Ocimum gratissimum and trunk bark of Anogeissus leiocarpus show promise as an antifungal agent.

Background: Tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) is phosphonamidate prodrug of tenofir that inhibits hepatitis B virus and HIV type-1 reverse transcription. TAF more stable form in plasma than tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) as choice treatment before. TAF in long-term treatment also significantly reduced bone mineral density (BMD) and raised serum creatinine, as well as improved markers of renal tubular function. This study aims to review the long-term therapy of TAF effect in body weight gain, BMD, renal function, lipids profile, ALT normalization, and HBeAg loss.Method: The data was taken from Pubmed, ScienceDirect, and Cochrane Library. We found 363 articles from databases. The articles related to long-term therapy in chronic hepatitis-B and adjusted according to restriction criteria. Articles selection using PRISMA flowchart and quality test using GRADE method into eligible articles.Results: We selected articles that eligible for systematic review with different GRADE recommendation which were 4 high-grade articles, 1 low-grade, and 1 very low-grade article. TAF in long-term therapy showed an increase in BMD (p 0.001), body weight gain (p 0.001), decreased renal dysfunction (CrCl; p 0.0001 and GFR; p = 0.027), and normalized ALT (p = 0.016). However, lipids profile level increase that could increase risk of atherosclerosis and dyslipidemia. There was no significant in HBeAg loss.Conclusion: TAF therapy is favourable therapy in long-term therapy of chronic hepatitis B patients by smaller reduce of BMD, and significant body weight gain, reduce renal dysfunction, good improvement in lipid profile and improving ALT enzymes.

This study aims to increase student learning outcomes by using a problem based learning model in class V at SDN 12 Gunung Malelo Pesisir Selatan. This research is a type of CAR using a qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was conducted in 4 stages, namely: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. the results of observations of RPP in the first cycle which has a percentage of 81.94% with good qualifications (B) and an increase in the second cycle which has a percentage of 94.44% with very good qualifications (SB). Based on the results of observations of teacher activities in the first cycle, which has a percentage of 85.71% with good qualifications (B) and an increase in the second cycle which has a percentage of 96.42% with very good qualifications (SB). While on the results of observing the activities of students in the first cycle, which has a percentage of 85.71% with good qualifications (B) and there is an increase in the second cycle with a percentage of 96.42% with very good qualifications (SB). Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that research conducted using this problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class V Elementary School.

Distracted driving is a leading cause of accidents worldwide. The tasks of distraction detection and recognition have been traditionally addressed as computer vision problems. However, distracted behaviors are not always expressed in a visually observable way. In this work, we introduce a novel multimodal dataset of distracted driver behaviors, consisting of data collected using twelve information channels coming from visual, acoustic, near-infrared, thermal, physiological and linguistic modalities. The data were collected from 45 subjects while being exposed to four different distractions (three cognitive and one physical). For the purposes of this paper, we performed experiments with visual, physiological, and thermal information to explore potential of multimodal modeling for distraction recognition. In addition, we analyze the value of different modalities by identifying specific visual, physiological, and thermal groups of features that contribute the most to distraction characterization. Our results highlight the advantage of multimodal representations and reveal valuable insights for the role played by the three modalities on identifying different types of driving distractions.

With common unhappiness as its curative horizon, psychoanalysis deserves—indeed, it requires—the hysteric’s famous challenge to Freud: what, and whom, is analysis for? Motivated by the hysteric’s desire for a better life and Freud’s commitment to the social dimension of the psyche, this special issue considers psychoanalysis—theory and clinic—as the grounds for solidarity and political community, from the consulting room to the picket line. This extended introduction elaborates on the curative limitations and social dimensions of psychoanalysis by digging into a term—overdetermination—that has structured the psychoanalytic social bond from the origins of the talking cure. In putting the subject to grips with the disorienting effects of intersubjectivity, psychoanalysis constructs an ethical relation grounded in the illocutionary enactment of the subject’s negativity, sustaining a bond of care between divided subjects and between their overdetermined desires. This essay considers what the psychoanalytic commitment to our unhappiness in common might generate or foreclose for political bonds of solidarity beyond the consulting room.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the determination of the portfolio with the Single Index Model which can provide optimal returns compared to determining the portfolio using the Random Model on the Kompas 100 Index stock on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 - December 2021 or vice versa. The population of this research is all issuers of shares that are incorporated into the Indeks Kompas 100 for the period 2017 – December 2021 with a selected sample of 30 companies. The research method used in this study is the paired sample t-test difference test. The results of the research and statistical tests show that the Single Index Model provides a more optimal return than using the Random Model.
