Dalam pembelajaran matematika, pemecahan masalah merupakan kemampuan yang penting dimiliki siswa. Namun kenyataanya, banyak siswa masih belum mampu memecahkan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul matematika sebagai media pembelajaran yang layak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R&D) dengan model 4D. Model 4D merupakan kepanjangan dari define, design, development, dissemination yang adaptasi dari Thiagrajan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan angket begitupun dengan Instrumen menggunakan instrument observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan modul matematika berbasis teori Polya materi debit dan kecepatan untuk kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang dinyatakan layak. Kelayakan modul ini dilihat dari kriteria valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,6 berdasarkan aspek media dan materi. Berdasarkan respon siswa, modul ini mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,7 dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Dari hasil tersebut, maka kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah modul matematika berbasis teori Polya materi debit dan kecepatan untuk kelas V SD layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

In the last decade, street violence in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has increased immensely. Whether intentional or organized, violence has become news, increasingly appearing on various media and social platforms. This phenomenon contradicts the predicate of Yogyakarta as a city of students and a city of culture. Through such background, this study encourages investigating the socio-cultural contexts of such increasing violence in a city, promoting its branding as a non-violence city. This study analyses one of the largest online social platforms in Yogyakarta, called ‘Info Cegatan Jogja’ (ICJ). Applying an ethnographic approach, quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analyzed using the sentiment analysis method. The study finds that the high rate of violence is not solely the result of street violence itself, but is also supported by the act of justifying violence with the general idea that the accurate way to deal with violence is through violence. In other words, society begins to assume that if it is treated as a curative measure, then violence is accepted as something to be normalized. Adolescents who live in orphanages need to adjust to the orphanage’s conditions and rules to meet their subjective well-being. The fact shows not all adolescents living in orphanages are able to achieve subjective well-being in their lives. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of gratitude training in improving the subjective well-being of adolescents in an orphanage. A quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design was used in this study. Sixteen orphanage boys with moderately subjective well-being level participated in this study. Data were analyzed using non-parametric statistical analysis Mann Whitney u test and Wilcoxon. The results show that gratitude training is effective for improving the subjective well-being of the participants. The most improvement of subjective well-being was experienced by the participants who actively communicate with caregivers and optimistically achieve goals and expectations. The implication of this research is that to achieve subjective well-being in everyday live we should develop grateful behavior.

Currently and in the future, Indonesia is still very dependent on tourism to cover the current account deficit and the national budget deficit. In fact, because the government and tourism industry players have to overcome various obstacles, it is difficult to achieve the goal of visiting tourists to Indonesia every year. Therefore, this study aims to promote tourism by increasing competitiveness. On the other hand, there are still uncoordinated relationships and sectoral egos between various ministries and local governments, which weaken competitiveness, such as lack of promotional activities, high domestic airline ticket prices, and limited number of tourist ports.The results of this study prove that the government has made a lot of efforts in developing tourism and determining 10 main destinations as tourism icons.

Permasalahan kesehatan mencakup kesehatan fisik dan mental. Individu yang memiliki gangguan kesehatan mental akan berpengaruh pada fungsi hidup, yaitu kemampuan menyesuaikan diri dalam menghadapi permasalahan yang muncul. Upaya meningkatkan kesehatan mental seringkali terhambat dengan adanya perasaan bersalah ataupun dendam yang ada dalam diri individu tersebut. Terapi pemaafan menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana terapi pemaafan sebagai bagian dari psikologi positif dalam berperan pada individu untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental. Metode literature review digunakan dalam artikel ini, dengan menggabungkan teori dan hasil-hasil penelitian untuk dievaluasi dan dikritisi, kemudian disimpulkan oleh penulis. Hal yang dibahas dalam artikel ini adalah tahapan terapi, urgensi dan macam gangguan kesehatan mental yang dialami. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat membantu memberikan pengetahuan baru dalam memahami peran terapi pemaafan dalam meningkatkan kesehatan mental.

This study was aimed understand the influence of Achievement Motivation Training in increase self efficacy of medicine students in Islamic University of Indonesia. Research design of this study was one-group multiplepre-test post-test design on quasi experiment with 173 subjects of experimental group in 2 days training. Data collected by self-efficacy scale from Bandura’s theory (1997). Analysis of the data used non parametrical statistic by Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The strategic value of the Central Asia region attracts Russia, United States (U.S.) and China to try to get closer with the region. The abundant energy reserves and strategic location to spread military influence leads Central Asia becoming a strategic arena. Seeing the competition of external interested parties in Central Asia, it increases the awareness of Russian Federation as the major power which has already become a dominant actor on that region since the collapse of Soviet Union; as the big brother of former Soviet Union, Russia feels the stabilization of the region becomes Russian responsibility. To prevent the spreading of external major powers on the region and to manage the power balance in Central Asia, Russia sets its military strategy to keep its military influence in the region. The main focus of this article is presenting the implementation of Russian military strategies by utilize its strategic partnership with Kazakhstan as the shortcut to succeed the implementation of those military strategies.
