NEANIAS develops thematic services for EOSC communities on the field of Underwater, Atmospheric and Space research. The project will integrate the thematic services into the EOSC ecosystem after they reach the maturity required by EOSC. This deliverable collects and introduces the integration approaches, procedures, relevant services discovered as part of the EOSC landscape. Based on this information the document then proposes an integration strategy and roadmap.

The objective of deliverable D6.1 is to report on architecture, specifications and software development plan of the Core Services that will be developed in WP6. This document reports on the general design principles, the overall system architecture and fundamental resources. Then it presents the foreseen core services related to manage Open Science lifecycle (C1), EOSC integration (C2), Artificial Intelligence processing (C3) and, finally, Visualization (C4).

We consider the capacity problem for wireless networks. Networks are modeled as random unit-disk graphs, and the capacity problem is formulated as one of finding the maximum value of a multicommodity flow. In this paper, we develop a proof technique based on which we are able to obtain a tight characterization of the solution to the linear program associated with the multiflow problem, to within constants independent of network size. We also use this proof method to analyze network capacity for a variety of transmitter/receiver architectures, for which we obtain some conclusive results. These results contain as a special case (and strengthen) those of Gupta and Kumar for random networks, for which a new derivation is provided using only elementary counting and discrete probability tools., Submitted to the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, March 2005
