This investigation was carried out at Sakha Experimental Station, Agricultural Research Center during four seasons 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Five populations (P1, P2, F1, F2 and F3) for the four barbadense cotton crosses namely (Uzbekstan1 x C.B 58), (TNB x C.B 58), (BBB x C.B 58) and (Giza 94 x Giza 45) were used in this investigation to study the genetic behaviour of yield and its components and fibre traits. The aim of the present investigation was to study heterosis, inbreeding depression and type of gene action in four intra-specific crosses to obtain additional information about some genetic parameters to help the breeder to select effective breeding methods. The results showed that the potence ratio estimates indicated overdominance for seed cotton and lint yield/plant, boll weight, lint percentage and number of bolls/plant, while the quality traits exhibited partial dominance. Highly significant positive heterotic effects relative to mid-parent and better parent were obtained for seed cotton yield, lint cotton yield and number of bolls/plant, while it was for lint percentage. The inbreeding depression effects were highly significant for the number of bolls/plant, seed cotton yield and lint cotton yield. Highly significant values of additive and dominance were found for seed cotton yield, lint cotton yield and number of bolls/plant. Dominance effects for Micronaire value and fibre length were of greater magnitude than additive effects. Highly significant epistasis values were found for additive x additive and dominance x dominance with complementary action with non-additive effect. High broad-sense heritability values were calculated for all studied traits, while narrow sense heritability values were of low values for seed cotton and lint cotton yield. on the other hand the fibre quality traits exhibited high values in three crosses as well as the heritabilities of regression

The data fusion community has introduced multiple procedures of situational assessments; this is to facilitate timely responses to emerging situations. More directly, the process refinement of the Joint Directors of Laboratories (JDL) is a meta-process to assess and improve the data fusion task during real-time operation. In other wording, it is an optimisation technique to verify the overall data fusion performance, and enhance it toward the top goals of the decision-making resources. This paper discusses the theoretical concept of prioritisation. Where the analysts team is required to keep an up to date with the dynamically changing environment, concerning different domains such as air, sea, land, space and cyberspace. Furthermore, it demonstrates an illustration example of how various tracking activities are ranked, simultaneously into a predetermined order. Specifically, it presents a modelling scheme for a case study based scenario, where the real-time system is reporting different classes of prioritised events. Followed by a performance metrics for evaluating the prioritisation process of situational awareness (SWA) domain. The proposed performance metrics has been designed and evaluated using an analytical approach. The modelling scheme represents the situational awareness system outputs mathematically, in the form of a list of activities. Such methods allowed the evaluation process to conduct a rigorous analysis of the prioritisation process, despite any constrained related to a domain-specific configuration. After conducted three levels of assessments over three separates scenario, The Prioritisation Capability Score (PCS) has provided an appropriate scoring scheme for different ranking instances, Indeed, from the data fusion perspectives, the proposed metric has assessed real-time system performance adequately, and it is capable of conducting a verification process, to direct the operator’s attention to any issue, concerning the prioritisation capability of situational awareness domain.

The User Refinement (level 5) of the JDL is intended to address knowledge representation for the decision-making resources. In this regard, we have proposed a performance metric to direct the analysts' attention about any ranking capability issues that may occur during a real-time operation. This paper discusses the interaction between machine projection and user perception. In particular, it is conducting a reliability-based evaluation to examine the proposed scoring scheme against the operators comprehension. The Ranking Capability Score (RCS) has successfully quantified different ranking instances appropriately. However, it provides incomprehensible scores for the analysis team, specifically, under a situational assessment where the number of prioritized events is dynamically shifted in a multi-projection environment.

© 2016, Springer Science+Business Media New York.The application of natural antimutagens and antioxidants, particularly those derived from higher plants has been seen as a promising approach to the protection of human health. In this work, we studied methanolic extracts from Sansevieria cylindrica, Sansevieria trifasciata, and Polianthes tuberosa plants focusing on their antioxidative and antimutagenic capacities based on the following parameters: inhibitory activity on lipid peroxidation, suppressing ability on direct-acting mutagen sodium azide-induced mutagenesis in Salmonella typhimurium cells. A clear dose-dependent decrease in lipid peroxidation was observed with all the extracts tested. Extracts from leaves of P. tuberosa and rhizomes of S. cylindrica and S. trifasciata (1 mg/mL) displayed the highest antioxidant effect. At the same time, extracts from rhizomes of S. cylindrica and S. trifasciata significantly reduced the sodium azide-induced mutations. The highest antimutagenic activity (76 %) in the S. typhimurium TA100 strain was obtained for the S. cylindrica rhizomes extract (1 mg/plate). We propose that the observed protective effects of plant extracts tested may correspond to a synergic participation of several secondary metabolites and mainly to polyphenolic compounds.

The ground and excited 0$^+$ states of $^{12}$C are investigated in a 3$��$ macroscopic model using the deep potential of Buck, Friedrich and Wheatley. The elimination of forbidden states is performed either by constructing the allowed state space explicitly or by using the orthogonalizing pseudopotential.
