Bacillus subtilis is traditionally classified as a PGPR that colonizes plant roots through biofilm formation. The current study focused on investigating the influence of various factors on bacilli biofilm formation. In the course of the study, the levels of biofilm formation by the model strain B. subtilis WT 168 and on its basis created regulatory mutants, as well as strains of bacilli with deleted extracellular proteases under conditions of changes in temperature, pH, salt and oxidative stress and presence of divalent metals ions. B. subtilis 168 forms halotolerant and oxidative stress-resistant biofilms at a temperature range of 22 °C–45 °C and a pH range of 6–8.5. The presence of Ca2+, Mn2+ and Mg2+ upsurges the biofilm development while an inhibition with Zn2+. Biofilm formation level was higher in protease-deficient strains. Relative to the wild-type strain, degU mutants showed a decrease in biofilm formation, abrB mutants formed biofilms more efficiently. spo0A mutants showed a plummeted film formation for the first 36 h, followed by a surge after. The effect of metal ions and NaCl on the mutant biofilms formation is described. Confocal microscopy indicated that B. subtilis mutants and protease-deficient strains differ in matrix structure. The highest content of amyloid-like proteins in mutant biofilms was registered for degU-mutants and protease-deficient strains.

In present conditions of turbulent development of scientific and technological progress, reforms of Ukrainian educational system and integration into European educational space, high quality training and professional orientation of medical workers, especially nurses, is highly needed. The baccalaureate nurse should obtain a high level of knowledge and competence in all areas of their work. This is primarily due to the involvement of baccalaureate nurses in extraordinarily complex medical procedures, usage of high-tech equipment in specialized institutions, and independent decision-making related to the implementation of palliative care in health care institutions. Because of these changes, nursing should become an independent medical profession, and one of the prerequisites for this is the modernization and improvement of nursing training programs at the level of a higher education (bachelor and master levels). The article analyzes the research on the development of medical education in the context of reforming the medical field in times of global crisis. The author presents a retrospective analysis of nursing education development in Ukraine in the middle of the 20th –the first half of the 21st century; a parallel is drawn with the existing state qualification requirements and areas of professional training for nurses of different levels of education. The author of the article indicates the necessity of a rational approach to the training of prospective nurses and substantiates the directions of nursing education development in the context of modern health care reform by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. It is argued the importance of developing not only hard skills, but also soft skills of prospective medical workers, especially within the framework of a narrow specialization during the period of study in higher education institutions. Актуальність. За прогнозами Всесвітньої організації охорони здоров’я, до 2030 р. хронічне обструктивне захворювання легень (ХОЗЛ) стане третьою провідною причиною смертності у світі. Основні заходи боротьби з ХОЗЛ спрямовані на попередження виникнення, сповільнення прогресування та зменшення ймовірності ускладнень. Вищий рівень фізичної активності (ФА) повʼязаний із меншим ризиком загострень, госпіталізації та смертності в людей із ХОЗЛ і має переваги в покращенні рівня фізичної витривалості, задишки та якості життя, загалом. Тому ФА включена в програми легеневої реабілітації як необхідний компонент. Мета статті – проаналізувати рекомендації щодо фізичної активності в реабілітації осіб із ХОЗЛ. Методи дослідження – аналіз літературних джерел і клінічних настанов з фізичної терапії, легеневої реабілітації та фізичної активності із баз науково-доказової літератури Medline та PEDro. Результати роботи. Фізична активність у хворих із ХОЗЛ значно знижена, а головним симптомом, який знижує можливість витримувати фізичне навантаження хворими на ХОЗЛ є задишка. Зменшенню фізичної активності також можуть сприяти вікові зміни та наявність супутніх захворювань (хвороби серця, діабет, ожиріння, когнітивні порушення й ін.). У пацієнтів із ХОЗЛ, у котрих показники об’єму форсованого видиху за першу секунду видиху становить 50 % від належного та вище рекомендовано підвищити тижневу фізичну активність, згідно з рекомендаціями ВООЗ. Пацієнти з нижчими показниками функції зовнішнього дихання, фізичної витривалості й більшою задишкою або пацієнти після загострення скеровуються на легеневу реабілітацію, одним із компонентів якої повинна бути програма фізичної активності. Програми фізичної активності продовжуються також після завершення програми легеневої реабілітації. Висновки. Фізична активність на сьогодні є невід’ємною складовою частиною в комплексному лікуванні ХОЗЛ та відіграє важливу роль у покращенні якості життя пацієнтів, зниженні ризику загострення, госпіталізації й смертності. Рекомендації щодо рівня ФА осіб із ХОЗЛ не відрізняються від таких для здорового населення. Бажано поступово досягати хоча б мінімального рівня фізичної активності, рекомендованого Всесвітньою організацією охорони здоров’я.
