一般社団法人資源・素材学会 2020年度 春季大会、2020年3月15日～17日、千葉工業大学 津田沼キャンパス、習志野市（開催中止）, 北海道北部の地下には，天北炭田の褐炭層が広範囲にわたって賦存している。これらの褐炭は過去には採掘され てきたが，現在では利用されていない。幌延地圏環境研究所は，地下バイオメタン鉱床造成/生産法(SCG法)を提 唱し，微生物を用いて未利用の地下有機物資源からバイオメタンを生産する技術について，基礎的な研究を進め てきた。2019年度から，SCG法の実証に向けた原位置試験に着手し，猿払村小石鉱区において，新第三系宗谷夾 炭層の一番層を試験対象褐炭層として3本の試験孔を掘削し，試験対象層の上下盤への遮水処理を施し，初期状態 を把握するために揚水して孔内水を炭層から湧出する地下水に置換し，基本的な観測装置を設置した。また，揚 水作業で得られたデータから，初期状態の原位置の浸透率の評価を試みた。本発表では，SCG法の概念を紹介す るとともに，現在進行している試験の内容と今後の進め方について議論する。

一般社団法人資源・素材学会 2021年度 春季大会. 2021年3月8日～10日. オンライン開催., 幌延地圏環境研究所は，2019年度から地下バイオメタン鉱床造成/生産法（以下，SCG法）の原位置実証試験を猿払村小石鉱区で開始している。SCG法とは，地下未利用有機物（ここでは褐炭）を，まず化学反応または微生物活動で低分子有機酸に分解し，つぎにメタン菌などの微生物活動で低分子有機酸からメタンを生成する技術である。2019年，地下20mに賦存する宗谷夾炭層の褐炭層にケーシング内径50mmのボーリング孔を掘削し，2020年7月，約1tonの0.3%過酸化水素水を圧入した。過酸化水素水圧入の1か月前に，比較データ取得などを目的として，約1tonの海洋深層水を圧入している。2種類の流体の圧入はどちらも同じ定流量となるようポンプを制御して実施したが，これに対して異なる圧力変化挙動が観測された。これは，過酸化水素水と褐炭の化学反応にともない，地層内の流動特性が変化したことに起因すると考えられる。

Lake Baikal sediment contain information for understanding of long-term climate changes in the in the continental interior. In the present study, we analyzed abundances of biogenic silica and uranium in the core sediment (BDP93-2 and BSS06-G2) from Buguldeika saddle in southern part of the lake. The uranium concentration shows a similar fluctuation pattern with the biogenic silica concentration (as a paleotemperature proxy) on a glacial and interglacial scale (i.e., 100-kyr periodicity), whereas these two chemical components an inverse correlation on a centennial to millennial scale during the interglacial and interstadial periods. This means that sedimentation process of biogenic silica and uranium in Lake Baikal is different from each other, suggesting that the uranium concentration of sediment is paleclimate proxy different from palotemperature proxy (i.e., paleomoisture proxy). Also, comparison of the Baikal uranium concentration with the Hovsgol detrital component indicates a positive correlation during the late Holocene each other. Based on the above assumption, climate of continental Asia become wet condition during the interglacial and interstadial periods and dry condition during the glacial periods. Lake Baikal is one of the largest lakes in the world and located in the eastern Eurasia. The sediment has recorded various informations of paleoenvironmental changes in Eurasian continent. We measured AMS ^C dating of a BSS06-G2 (39.0 cm length) sediment core samples in Buguldeika Saddle of Lake Baikal. As a result, we found that variations of chemical abundances in BSS06-G2 core correlated with that of ice-rafted debris content in deep-sea sediments of the North Atlantic., ロシア・バイカル湖はユ-ラシア大陸東部に位置する世界最大の淡水湖であり、その湖底堆積物には大陸内部で生じた環境変動の歴史が詳細に記録されている。今回、バイカル湖南部･ブグルジェイカ鞍部で採取されたグラビティーコア(BSS06-G2、全長：39cm)について、名古屋大学タンデトロン加速器質量分析計により^C年代測定した結果、BSS06-G2コアの全岩化学組成含有量と北大西洋の深海堆積物中の漂流岩屑(Ice-Rafted Debris)含有量との間に、明瞭な変動パターンの対比が認められた｡, 第22回名古屋大学年代測定総合研究センターシンポジウム平成21(2009)年度報告

Geochemical proxy-records in a continuous 27 kyr (thousand years) core sediment from Lake Hovsgol in northwest Mongolia provides a detailed history of the response of the lake itself and the surrounding watershed to climate change during the last glacial to Holocene period. Principle component analysis (PCA) of 19 major and trace elements, total inorganic carbon (TIC), and total organic carbon (TOC) in the bulk-sediment samples revealed that the 21 chemical components are grouped by four assemblages: Group-1 components -Na, Mg, Ca, Sr, and TIC, hosted in carbonate minerals (calcite, dolomite, and magnecian calcite); Group-2 -Ni, Cu, and Zn, recognized as biophilic trace metals, and TOC; Group-3 -Al, K, Ti, V, Fe, Rb, Cs, Ba, and Pb, composed of rock-forming minerals; Group-4 -Cr, Mn, and As, sensitive to redox condition of sediment. The four element assemblages were originated from relevant 3 factors in subsidence. The group-1 and group-2 components of authigenic products in the lake are end member on the PC-1 score. The group-3 components of detrital materials from watershed contribute to the PC-2 score. The group-4 components of redox sensitive elements contribute to the PC-3 score, which are not the end member due to a small amount. The first two PC scores possibly suggest a sequential record of paleomoisture evolutions of central Asia. Especially, a variability of PC-2 score indicates erosion/weathering intensity of watershed which might be controlled by the ratio of vegetation cover associated with moisture change. A periodic variation on ~8. 7 kyr cycle was observed in the PC-2 score profile of detritus inputs of Lake Hovsgol over the last glacial and Holocene period. The decrease of detritus input of the lake coincided with the timing of dramatic supply of moisture from Asian monsoon regime and North At1antic region to Baikal watershed to which Lake Hovsgol belongs.
