LncRNA RGMB-AS1 (RGMB antisense RNA 1) has been reported to participate in initiation and progression of several cancers, such as lung cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma and laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Nevertheless, whether RGMB-AS1 regulates glioma development is not investigated. In this study, we aimed to determine its roles in glioma.Methods: qRT-PCR and Western blotting were used to measure gene expression. CCK8 and colony formation assays were utilized to analyze proliferation. Transwell assay was used to determine cell migration and invasion. Luciferase reporter assay was used to validate the interactions among RGMB-AS1, miR-1200 and HOXB2.Results: RGMB-AS1 was upregulated in glioma tissues and associated with glioma grade and patients’ prognosis. Moreover, RGMB-AS1 silencing significantly inhibited the proliferation, migration and invasion of glioma cells. RGMB-AS1 downregulation led to more tumor cells arrested in the quiescent state. Mechanistically, we found that RGMB-AS1 was a molecular sponge for miR-1200. MiR-1200 level was inhibited by RGMB-AS1. And RGMB-AS1 promoted HOXB2 expression via sponging miR-1200. Restoration of HOXB2 effectively rescued the abilities of proliferation, migration and invasion in RGMB-AS1-depleted glioma cells.Conclusion: Collectively, our work clarified that RGMB-AS1/miR-1200/HOXB2 signaling exerts an essential role in regulating glioma progression.Keywords: RGMB-AS1, miR-1200, HOXB2, glioma, progression

As a member of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) kinase substrate 8 (EPS8) family, the role of EPS8 like 3 protein (EPS8L3) has not been well studied in malignancies. However, EPS8 has been reported to be associated with prognosis and functions in several kinds of cancers. Hence, whether EPS8L3 plays similar roles in the tumorigenesis of human cancers, especially in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), is still needed to be further explored. In this study, we revealed that EPS8L3 was overexpressed in HCC tissues compared with adjacent non-tumor tissues, and was associated with a poor clinical prognosis. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments showed that EPS8L3 could promote the proliferative ability by downregulating p21/p27 expression, and promote the migratory and invasive abilities by upregulating matrix metalloproteinase-2 expression. Furthermore, we demonstrated that EPS8L3 could affect the activation of the EGFR-ERK pathway by modulating EGFR dimerization and internalization, which may not depend on the formation of EPS8L3-SOS1-ABI1 complex. Taken together, our study showed that EPS8L3 plays a pivotal role in the tumorigenesis and progression of HCC, and it might be a potential therapeutic target for HCC.

The manual puncture surgery has low precision and stability, and the external irradiation in the surgery is harmful to human’s tissue. This paper establishes the robot system for brachytherapy, which is based on the optical registration. This paper introduces the surgical requirements and procedure, composition of the system. Then the surgical space registration method was described and a follow functional experiment was performed. The system has the advantages of high stability, precision and efficiency, which can decrease the risk of surgery.

Ecological environmental issues are constantly threatening the survival and development of human society and has been concerned by all walks of life. The seven ecological efficiency factors proposed by the WBCSD are the basis for improving the ecological performance. Through the mapping relationship between ecological efficiency factors and 39 engineering parameters, the ecological issues will be transferred to engineering problems. It is guided by the corresponding design concepts. Furtherly the TRIZ problem solving tools will be applied. Thereby, the optimized solution will be obtained. It can not only effectively reduce the environmental impact of products, but also can shorten the development cycle of green products while satisfying functional requirements. The development of China’s agricultural machinery is extensive. This method is used to implement ecological optimization design of the bundling device mounting frame for silage equipment, which has important guiding significance for the development of China's agricultural machinery.

Tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha-induced protein 8-like 2 (TIPE2 or TNFAIP8L2) is a novel identified negative regulator of both innate and adaptive immunity, which participates in immune homeostasis. TIPE2 is expressed in both immune tissues and nonimmune tissues. It is significantly down-regulated in patients with infectious and autoimmune diseases, and the depletion of TIPE2 causes severe inflammatory disease. In recent years, accumulating evidence has shown that TIPE2 serves as an ideal biomarker and as a tumour suppressor in several tumour types. In this review, we summarized the roles and corresponding mechanisms of TIPE2 in immune regulation and different diseases, especially in tumourigenesis.

In the high-speed innovation of agricultural machinery, the main means of competition among different brands has shifted from product function to good user experience. Modular silage machinery has gradually become the development trend of agricultural machinery industry. In order to reduce the purchase cost of large silage machinery, improve installation efficiency and operational comfort, the silage machinery is divided into modules based on the functional flow model. Taking silage mechanical coating module installation as an example, analyzing the installation difficulties from the perspective of ergonomics, the module division and installation process design of the lifting device, the design of the coating module armrest and the connection mode between the lifting device and the coating module are obtained. It relieves the pressure on the lumbar spine of the operator during the installation process and provides a design basis for the installation of other modules.

The silage module of the corn header is transformed from the existing silage corn header. The tractor drives the silage module to harvest silage corn, and the performance of the silage module directly affects the quality of the harvest. In view of the strong vibration and unstable performance of the silage module during operation, it is necessary to perform vibration analysis on the frame of the silage module. The 3D model of the silage module was established by Solidworks. The modal analysis of the frame structure of the silage module was carried out by ANSYS. The first 6 modes of the frame and its natural frequency are obtained. By analyzing the intrinsic relationship between the mode and vibration of the silage module frame, the first-order mode of the silage module frame is obtained to resonate with the road surface excitation frequency. Using the technical system evolution rule to analyze the patents related to avoiding resonance methods, it is concluded that the current patent evolution is at a mature stage. It shows that there are enough ways to avoid resonance. Combined with the scientific effects of the How-to model and related patent cases, resonance is avoided by changing the structure of the frame to avoid the excitation frequency of the road surface.

In order to improve the product image and market competitiveness of silage equipment, the silage equipment form design model was established based on Kansei Engineering. Firstly, the market research analysis method was used to analyze the form design and target user characteristics of silage equipment, and the form design requirements were determined. Then, the correspondence between design requirements and form characteristics was established after the perceptual measurement experiment. Finally, the common elements and individual elements of the form characteristics were integrated into the product design. As a result, the feasibility of the silage equipment form design model is preliminarily verified.

In order to accurately predict the future direction of corn cutting platform technology and rapidly develop a new generation of technologies and products, it is crucial to determine the current position of the corn cutting platform technology in the life cycle. Corn cutting platform had problems such as inefficient design, relatively high purchase costs, and short life. After quantitative and qualitative analysis of patents related to corn cutting platform technology, the S-curve law of technical system evolution theory was used to predict that the current corn cutting platform technology is in a recession period in the S-curve. In this period the super-system evolution law should be used in the innovative design of the corn cutting platform. Thereby the design efficiency of the corn header is improved. The causal chain analysis method was used to analyze the reasons for the high cost of the corn cutting platform. It is inferred that the above problems can be solved from the “single corn cutting platform function” and “too long corn cutting platform idle time”. The corn cutting platform that harvests both grain corn and silage corn was derived by applying the technical contradiction method and the super-system evolution rule.

China’s ecological environment is deteriorating, with excessive use of energy and materials, inconvenient disassembly and single function, which are manifested in silage equipment. To this end, the ecological design based on the innovative method was briefly described. Then the frame of the baling device in the silage equipment was taken as an example. The ecological design process based on the innovative method was applied to solve the ecological problem of excessive use of the material. It enables the baling device to improve the ecological performance while satisfying the function. Finally, through the functional analysis and ecological analysis of the frame, the feasibility of applying the method to silage machinery is also verified. This also provides an effective way for the ecological improvement of silage equipment.

Biliary papillomatosis (BP) is a rare disease characterized by multiple numerous papillary adenomas in both the intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary tree. Due to its high recurrence rate and frequent transformation to malignancy, BP should not be considered a benign disease, and a radical resection with an adequate resection margin is advocated in cases of localized intrahepatic biliary papillomatosis. Since BP is a rare disease and its clinical features and outcomes are not well known, it’s really difficult to diagnose the disease before operation. We encountered two cases diagnosed as intrahepatic biliary papillomatosis postoperatively, and herein present the diagnostic difficulties and therapeutic options for this rare disease.

In recent years, Online Shopping plays an important role in daily life and how to improve the online shopping experience with Machine Learning and Recommender System has been discussed by a group of researchers. As a sub-field of Machine Learning, Computer vision has achieved significant developments during the last decade. The computer vision techniques can help machine to view images and extract useful information from images like human beings. However, the existing online recommender system has mostly used the labelled information and ignored the large amount of useful information extracted from images. This thesis proposed that the extracted information from images through computer vision techniques can be used in the current online recommender system for the improved online shopping experience. To do this, I firstly tackled the problem of insufficient data in the real online shopping environment. I proposed a pairwise constraint random forest algorithm with associating transfer learning strategy. This new algorithm can make use of weakly supervised labelled data which is relatively easy to collect in the real online shopping environment to train the attribute classification model. Secondly, I developed an explainable recommender system with self-identity theory. This new recommender framework is built based on the weakly learning algorithm proposed above to analyse human behaviours by self-identity theory from information system research. Compared with previous recommender system, my work concentrates on different customer behaviours distinguished by self-identity and result in an improved online shopping experience.\ud In summary, there are two major contributes for this thesis. Firstly, this thesis introduces a new weakly-supervised learning approach for semantic data classification in the online shopping environment. This new algorithm can work with noise partially labelled data to achieve better accuracy for attribute learning tasks. Secondly, by analysing the recommender system with self-identity theory, a new explainable Recommender System is proposed to improve online shopping experience. Besides, we also indicate the potential of further research in combining Computer Vision in Computer Science with online shopping experience in Information System research which can determine how Computer Vision can help to solve real world problems.
