We present a detailed simulation study of the signatures from the sequential decays of the triple-strange pbar p -> {\Omega}+{\Omega}- -> K+{\Lambda}barK- {\Lambda} -> K+pbar{\pi}+K-p{\pi}- process in the PANDA central tracking system with focus on hit patterns and precise time measurement. We present a systematic approach for studying physics channels at the detector level and develop input criteria for tracking algorithms and trigger lines. Finally, we study the beam momentum dependence on the reconstruction efficiency for the PANDA detector.

Background: MicroRNA is a type of non-coding RNA molecule whose length is about 22 nucleotides. The growing evidence shows that microRNA makes critical regulations in the development of complex diseases, such as cancers, and cardiovascular diseases. Predicting potential microRNA-disease associations can provide a new perspective to achieve a better scheme of disease diagnosis and prognosis. However, there is a challenge to predict some potential essential microRNAs only with few known associations. Objective: In this paper, we propose a novel method, named as a constrained strategy for predicting microRNA-disease associations called CPMDA, which can predict some potential essential microRNAs only with few known associations. Methods: We firstly construct a disease similarity network and microRNA similarity network to preprocess the microRNAs with none available associations. Then, we apply probabilistic factorization to obtain two feature matrices of microRNA and disease. Meanwhile, we formulate a similarity feature matrix as constraints in the factorization process. Finally, we utilize obtained feature matrixes to identify potential associations for all diseases. Result and Conclusion: The results indicate that CPMDA is superior over other methods in predicting potential microRNA-disease associations. Moreover, the evaluation shows that CPMDA has a strong effect on microRNAs with few known associations. In case studies, CPMDA also demonstrated the effectiveness to infer unknown microRNA-disease associations for those novel diseases and microRNAs.

Artemisia argyi Levl. et Van is an important Asteraceae species with a high medicinal value. There are abundant A. argyi germplasm resources in Asia, especially in China, but the evolutionary relationships of these varieties and the systematic localization of A. argyi in the family Asteraceae are still unclear. In this study, the chloroplast (cp) genomes of 72 A. argyi varieties were systematically analyzed. The 72 varieties originated from 47 regions in China at different longitudes, latitudes and altitudes, and included both wild and cultivated varieties. The A. argyi cp genome was found to be ∼151 kb in size and to contain 114 genes, including 82 protein-coding, 28 tRNA, and 4 rRNA genes. The number of short sequence repeats (SSRs) in A. argyi cp genomes ranged from 35 to 42, and most of them were mononucleotide A/T repeats. A total of 196 polymorphic sites were detected in the cp genomes of the 72 varieties. Phylogenetic analysis demonstrated that the genetic relationship between A. argyi varieties had a weak relationship with their geographical distribution. Furthermore, inverted repeat (IR) boundaries of 10 Artemisia species were found to be significantly different. A sequence divergence analysis of Asteraceae cp genomes showed that the variable regions were mostly located in single-copy (SC) regions and that the coding regions were more conserved than the non-coding regions. A phylogenetic tree was constructed using 43 protein-coding genes common to 67 Asteraceae species. The resulting tree was consistent with the traditional classification system; Artemisia species were clustered into one group, and A. argyi was shown to be closely related to Artemisia lactiflora and Artemisia montana. In summary, this study systematically analyzed the cp genome characteristics of A. argyi and compared cp genomes of Asteraceae species. The results provide valuable information for the definitive identification of A. argyi varieties and for the understanding of the evolutionary relationships between Asteraceae species.

Conventional chopper sugarcane combine harvesters had numerous drawbacks, including high center of gravity, easy clogging, and high trash rate. In order to resolve these problems, a chopper sugarcane combine harvester with shorter roller train and primary extractor installed in the middle was designed in the present study. The proposed harvester was equipped with the roller train and billet transporters. Moreover, the structure of the primary extractor was improved, and its position was selected to address the issues of chopper harvesters. Performing the field experiment shows that the average traveling speed of the proposed machine was 2 km/h, while the average feed capacity was 5.5 kg/s. Furthermore, it was found that the qualified rate of the cutting height, rate of the broken perennial ratoon, total loss, trash rate, and the qualified rate of cane billets were 90.1%, 9.6%, 3.1%, 4.4%, and 92.1%, respectively. Field experiment showed that the proposed machine harvested 2 × 104 kg of sugarcane per hour, where the average harvesting cost was about 45 RMB per 1000 kg of the cane. It was found that the operating efficiency was approximately 200 times higher than that of the manual harvesting, while the corresponding costs were reduced by 55%–70%. Moreover, it was concluded that the proposed machine was superior over AS60 and 4GZQ-260 in terms of the harvesting performance and almost reached the level of them in regard to the economic performance.

By consulting related papers on this problem, a comprehensive description of the solution to this problem. These methods all use template matching, but some use component-based template matching, and some use shape-based template matching. By using Halcon, OpenCV or MATLAB software to flawed image characters, eliminate defective feelings and improve the qualification rate of the final product.

Background: To evaluate the quality, reliability, comprehensiveness and accuracy of the popular science information related to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the Chinese website.Methods: Searching for scientific articles with the keywords of "novel coronavirus pneumonia" in Baidu, Sogou and 360 search engine at 14:00 on May 22, 2020, and collecting information such as article source, length, upload time, etc. Using JAMA score and 5-point DISCERN scale, two specialists independently analyzed the reliability and quality of scientific articles. Combined with the "Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment Program (Trial Version 6)", we made corresponding evaluation on the comprehensiveness and accuracy of articles. Results: A total of 45 scientific articles were included in the study. The average number of words is 2692.27±1267.61, and the average upload time is 11.8±10.80 days. Those popular scientific articles are mainly uploaded by government agencies and individuals. However, the JAMA score, DISCERN score, content comprehensiveness and accuracy of the articles were generally low. Among the 45 popular scientific articles, 27 articles were classified as accurate-content group and 18 articles were classified as misleading-content group. Scientific articles of accurate-content groups mainly came from government agencies, universities and hospitals. The publication date of articles in the accurate-content group is closer, the scores of JAMA, DISCERN and content comprehensiveness were higher (PConclusion: Although there are many scientific articles related to the novel coronavirus pneumonia on the Chinese website, the overall detection rate of high-quality scientific articles were low. We are Looking forward to more high-quality medical scientific articles published by government agencies, universities and hospitals. It is suggested that search engines adopt a more optimized sorting method to help more readers get high-quality information.

Proper determination of the shear strength of the backfill body used to fill the subsidence is the basis for subsidence restoration and the stability analysis of materials. This study developed a shear strength calculation model for the backfill body by introducing adhesive friction theory into the shear strength analysis. A direct shear test was performed in the laboratory to verify the proposed method. Test results suggested that the shear strength calculation method based on adhesive friction theory can calculate the variation in the actual contact area between grains in the tested samples undergoing shearing and estimate the peak shear strength. The actual contact area was divided into two components, namely, adhesive contact area Arm and contact area reduction caused by shear displacement, which exhibited a maximum at Armax. The shear strength values calculated by this method were smaller than laboratory values, and their differences increased with the rock proportion in the backfill body. The differences between the theoretical and experimental values of shear strength increased with the rock grain size. The results of theoretical calculation, combined with the results of laboratory experiments, can provide support for the proper determination of shear strength of the backfill body.

In recent years, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have achieved excellent results in the study of single image super-resolution. However, super-resolution algorithms based on CNNs still face serious challenges, such as poor detail reconstruction, numerous parameters, and difficulty of training. A Residual Dense Information Distillation Network (RD-IDN) is proposed in this paper which uses dense skip connections and residual structure to solve the problems of difficult training and low utilization of features in Information Distillation Network. Experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to many other Super Resolution algorithms in terms of reconstruction performance and computational comsumption.

Dough preparation and performance are two critical factors influencing the final quality of wheat products. The influence of high and low methoxyl pectins on empirical and dynamic rheological properties of dough and Chinese steamed bread (CSB) quality were investigated. Different concentrations of high methoxyl apple pectin (HMAP), low methoxyl apple pectin (LMAP), and amidation apple pectin (ALMAP) were tested. Results from dynamic and empirical rheological tests indicated that all concentrations of pectins tested (0.2%, 0.6%, and 1%) negatively affected the gluten network. The low methoxyl pectins, LMAP and ALMAP, which had higher anionic densities, resulted in a pronounced weakening of the dough. Meanwhile, dough fermentation properties improved in the presence of appropriate pectins concentrations, and higher maximum dough height, stability of dough pore space, and gas retention were recorded. HMAP was the pectin most effective in influencing dough fermentation properties at all tested concentrations. Regarding CSB quality, textural properties, specific volume, moisture content, and water-holding capacity were analyzed. Generally, the textural properties of CSB were improved, including improved springiness and decreased hardness and chewiness, when 0.2%–0.6% HMAP or LMAP was used. The specific volume of CSB was increased by adding 0.2%–1% HMAP, 0.6%–1% LMAP, or 0.2%–0.6% ALMAP. Moreover, CSB moisture loss was progressively reduced in the presence of different pectins at all tested concentrations during storage. In conclusion, pectins, especially HMAP, are good additives for improving the fermentation properties of dough and overall quality of CSB.Supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (31501487). A medical school in China engaged in reform in 2009 by adapting the medical curriculum of the University of Chicago, USA. Freshmen volunteered for the reform and 50 were randomly selected while the rest remained in the traditional curriculum. In 2014 a study was conducted to determine whether the views of traditional and reform curriculum students on their respective educational experience differed and to identify reform areas that needed improvement. A survey was administered to graduating students to gauge their views on basic science and clinical science education, clerkships, general medical education, and readiness for residency training. Frequency distributions, Mann-Whitney U tests, and Chi-squared tests were used for analysis. Reform curriculum students were more positive about their basic science and clinical science instruction. Clerkships were only somewhat satisfactory to students in both curricula. Reform curriculum students were more likely than those following the traditional curriculum to consider instruction in clinical decision-making and patient care as ‘adequate’. Instruction in population health was considered inadequate by the majority of students. Reform curriculum students were more confident about their preparedness for residency. The traditional curriculum was in need of reform. Reform has been effectively implemented and has increased student confidence and satisfaction with their education although there is room for improvement.

Background: The cardiac autonomic nervous system (CANS) plays a role in the occurrence and persistence of atrial fibrillation (AF). Low-level vagosympathetic nerve stimulation (LL-VNS) has been shown to inhibit the occurrence of AF. Objective: The novel objective of this study was to compare the effects of intermittent low- level vagosympathetic nerve stimulation (I-VNS) and continuous low-level vagosympathetic nerve stimulation (C-VNS). Methods: 19 beagles were randomly divided into 3 groups: Group A, rapid left atrial appendage pacing for 6 hours; Group B, rapid atrial pacing (RAP) for 6 hours and C-VNS (20 Hz, interval 0.1 ms, square wave) with 50% threshold voltage strength; Group C, RAP for 6 hours and I-VNS (continuously recurring cycles of 30-second ON, 30-second OFF). The atrial monophasic action potential (MAP) and the effective refractory periods (ERP) of the atrium and the pulmonary veins were measured at baseline, 1 hour, 3 hours and 6 hours after the experiment began. After the experiment, tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) and choline acetyl transferase (CHAT) expression levels in the anterior right ganglionated plexi (ARGP) from each group were measured. Results: Inter-group comparisons of MAP and ERP demonstrated that Group A was significantly different from Groups B and C (P < 0.05), while the difference between Groups B and C was not significant (P > 0.05). The MAP and ERP in Group A gradually decreased, reaching a minimum at 6 hours, but no significant changes were observed in Groups B and C. When compared to Group A, both Groups B and C had reduced TH and CHAT expression. Conclusions: During the occurrence and development of AF, I-VNS could protect the cardiovascular system, possibly replacing C-VNS. Additionally, both I-VNS and C-VNS inhibited ganglionated plexus (GP) activity during the AF prevention.

Objective In this study, we examine the characteristics of anteroseptal Atrial tachycardias (AT) originating from the Noncoronary Cusp (NCC) of the Aortic Valve, and demonstrate the long-term efficacy and safety of targeting the arrhythmias by Catheter Ablation. Methods From among a cohort of 43 patients with symptomatic focal AT undergoing electrophysiological evaluation, the point of earliest activation was at NCC region in 7 patients. Results The arrhythmia terminated with Conclusions Catheter ablation from the base of the NCC represents a safe and effective means to eliminate focal AT.

Objective The aim of this study was to determine whether CARTO mapping is feasible in the right ventricle and assess its utility in guiding ablation of right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) ventricualr tachycardia (VT). Background In patients with RVOT VT; CARTO mapping permits ablation guided by a VT complex, which may facilitate ablation of VT cases. However, the mapping system may be geometry- dependent, and it has not been validated in the unique geometry of the RVOT. Methods 30 patients with left bundle branch block and right axis VT, no history of structurally cardiac disease and normal left ventricular function underwent CARTO guided ablation. Results The procedure was acutely successful in 27 of 30 patients, 3 had failed ablation. During a mean follow-up of 6 months, 26 of 30 patients remained arrhythmia-free. Conclusions In this study, CARTO mapping was safely and effectively used to guide ablation of patients with RVOT VT.
