In order to solve the difficulties of steady-state voltage regulating for ac power grid brought about by surplus reactive power during the small power running for dc project, the general practice is by adding station low reactor or static reactive power compensator to absorb surplus reactive power, or by adjusting the operation mode of ac/dc system to change converter consumption of reactive power, realising the balance of reactive power exchange. Via the detailed analysis and research of auxiliary converter reactive power control strategy (converter and low load reactive power optimisation function) based on different technical route of dc control system, deducing the relation between the converter reactive power consumption and α / γ , current, which show that increasing minimum γ can absorb surplus reactive power, effectively solving ac grid voltage rise during small power running. At the same time, engineering widely used for a low reactor or static reactive power compensator adopted in weak ac system with reactive power balance control strategy are discussed, putting forward the feasible suggestions of reactive power optimisation control strategy to reduce ac/dc power grid reactive power exchange. Experiments proved that the proposed method can effectively solve the surplus reactive power problem during dc low power operation, simplify the converter station reactive power configuration, can be applied in dc project, and has good applicability.

T138 combat cyber crimes, electronic evidence have played an increasing role, but in judicial practice the electronic evidence were not highly applied because of the natural contradiction between the epistemic uncertainty of electronic evidence and the principle of discretionary evidence of judge in the court. in this paper, we put forward a layer-built method to analyze the relevancy of electronic evidence, and discussed their analytical process combined with the case study. The initial practice shows the model is feasible and has a consulting value in analyzing the relevancy of electronic evidence.

With the recent development of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in every aspect in our life, cyber crime is also expanding and cyber crime investigation is maturing into a more challenging issue which needs to be confronted. In the early stages of the digital investigation of cyber crime case, digital evidence is inadequate, decentralized and fragmented. In this paper, we present a cyber crime investigation model based on case characteristics, to help determine investigation orientation and reduce investigation area. Firstly, purifying and filtering the digital evidence collected, classification and acquirement of event sets are accomplished. Secondly, a method of imperfect induction is applied to analyze the event sets and construct one or more premises, and combining with the case characteristics extracted from the legal requirements, inference and its reliability valuation are given. Finally, through a network pyramid sales case analysis, the initial practice shows the model is feasible and has a consulting value with cyber crime investigation.

This paper describes the creep rupture behaviour, hardness distribution and microstructure of weldment made by submerge arc welding for W strengthened P92 steel. The cross-weld creep tests were carried out at 923 K and at stress ranging from 100 to 130 MPa. For stress below 120 MPa, weld-joints ruptured by the type IV crack, which located in their fine-grained heat-affected zone (FGHAZ) with the smallest measured cross-weld hardness. A strong drop in creep rupture strength of weldment was induced by brittle type IV failure. In addition to coarsening of M 23 C 6 carbides and an equiaxed fine grains in FGHAZ, intermetallic Fe 2 (Mo,W) Laves phase precipitated on grain boundaries during creep is probably the significant factors caused the type IV failure.

A sample survey is made of the overall state of existence of casual workers in Hangzhou municipality. Emphasis is placed on describing such aspects as the demographic characteristics, work circumstances, state of existence, labor and social guarantees, social relationships, plans for the future, inner feelings, and opinions and appeals of casual workers. Casual workers are a special product of the period of transformation of Chinese society—one that possesses fairly unique features and formational boundaries. The "casual worker" phenomenon should become a new focus of attention for the government and society. Attention should be paid to their social circumstances, their marginalization, their lack of social guarantees, and to solving their specific difficulties so as to lay a broad social foundation for realizing the objective of building a harmonious society.

As part of the fieldwork done in a Chinese village, Dongpai, which is located in Mashuang township, Nankang, Jiangxi province, this article describes the general situation of liushou children. The article is based on data collected by in-depth interview and participant-observation methods. Liushou children generally refers to children (under eighteen years of age) who need to be looked after by other relatives, friends, or who are by themselves because both of their parents work as migrant workers, merchants, and so on outside their hometown. The main issues dealt in the article are: How do they pass their childhood? What are their feelings and wishes during parental absence? What are their family education and school achievements? Is there any failure of the system to guarantee children their basic rights? Is there a crisis in their moral development? The article also presents the voices of the liushou children with regard to their goals and wishes.

Objective: To investigate the diagnostic potential value of 99mTc-MIBI imaging in head and neck tumors. Methods: Ninety-one patients with malignant and benign head and neck lesions were subjected to 99mTc-MIBI tomography, and 20 healthy volunteers served as control group. Results: The overall sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and positive predictive accuracy of early/delay 99mTc-MIBI imaging in diagnosis of head and neck malignant tumors were 78.7%/72.3%, 72.1%/88.4%, 75.6%/80.0% and 75.5%/87.2% respectively. The results of 99mTc-MIBI Imaging in diagnosis of nasopharyngeal cancer and sinonasal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma were more satisfactory than those in maxillary sinus cancer. In distinguishing recurrent/residual nasopharyngeal carcinoma and sinonasal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, 99mTc-MIBI scintigraphy was superior to CT/MRI. Conclusion: 99mTc-MIBI imaging is a promising useful tool in identifying head and neck tumor, and it has a special value to evaluate the local invasion and metastasis involved.

Starting from the Rayleigh diffraction integral, the propagation equation of ultrashort pulsed beams in dispersive media is derived without making the paraxial approximation and slowly varying envelope approximation (SVEA). The spatiotemporal properties of ultrashort pulsed beams in dispersive media, such as spectrum redshifting, narrowing and pulse distortion are illustrated with pulsed Gaussian beams. It is stressed that the ``antibeam'' behaviour of ultrashort pulsed beams can be avoided, if a suitable truncation function is chosen.

Glioma is an aggressive malignancy with limited effective treatment and poor prognosis. Cytoplasmic polyadenylation element binding protein 4 is a regulator of gene transcription and has been reported to be associated with biological malignancy in cancers. However, the mechanisms that cytoplasmic polyadenylation element binding protein 4 contributes to tumor migration and invasion remain unknown. Here, cytoplasmic polyadenylation element binding protein 4 expression was assessed using immunohistochemistry, and the results were compared with clinicopathological parameters, including survival. Using glioma cell lines (SKMG-4 and T98G), we measured cytoplasmic polyadenylation element binding protein 4 messenger RNA and protein expression and studied the effects of cytoplasmic polyadenylation element binding protein 4 expression on cell migration and invasion. We analyzed an ensemble of watershed models that predict flow, nitrogen, and phosphorus discharges. The models differed in scope and complexity and used different input data, but all had been applied to evaluate human impacts on discharges to the Patuxent River or to the Chesapeake Bay. We compared predictions to observations of average annual, annual time series, and monthly discharge leaving three basins. No model consistently matched observed discharges better than the others, and predictions differed as much as 150% for every basin. Models that agreed best with the observations in one basin often were among the worst models for another material or basin. Combining model predictions into a model average improved overall reliability in matching observations, and the range of predictions helped describe uncertainty. The model average was not the closest to the observed discharge for every material, basin, and time frame, but the model average had the highest Nash–Sutcliffe performance across all combinations. Consistently poor performance in predicting phosphorus loads suggests that none of the models capture major controls. Differences among model predictions came from differences in model structures, input data, and the time period considered, and also to errors in the observed discharge. Ensemble watershed modeling helped identify research needs and quantify the uncertainties that should be considered when using the models in management decisions.

The LEACH protocol for wireless sensor networks is a adaptive clustering routing algorithm. Because LEACH protocol has no control on distribution of the of cluster head in the network, cluster head selection method is restrictions, led to too much energy consumption. Based Cluster head energy restrictions and dual-cluster head routing, improvements and design a dual cluster heads non-uniform clustering routing protocol reduce energy consumption. Improved routing protocol using NS2 network simulation experiments carried out and compared and the LEACH protocol, through the analysis of simulation results to verify that the improved protocol improved network energy balance.

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Rhinitis Spray (RS) in treating chronic simple and hypertrophic rhinitis.Methods: Eighty patients with chronic rhinitis were divided into three groups and treated with RS, ephedrine and normal saline respectively.Results: The short-term effective rate in the three groups was 89.3%, 66.7% and 8.0% respectively. RS was effective in alleviating symptoms, increasing IgG level in nasal discharge, improving ventilatory function of nasal cavity and transfer function of nasal muosa cilia obviously.Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of RS in treating chronic rhinitis is satisfactory.

By the analysis and comparison of the application of domestic and overseas computer forensics education, combining with the demand of the industry, the characteristics of subjects and the aim of police education in China, an innovative program in computer forensics has been developed and begun in fall 2007. This four-year program consists of courses in general education, major (computer crime and forensics), police professional knowledge, and practical teaching. A year since its implementation, the program has shown its potentials and strengths.

It is offered a new method to get Fuzzy threshold in this article. First, the fundamental principals of Image Segmentation is showed, as well as some characteristics of threshold. And then, the custom Fuzzy Binary method are stated. In order to solve the problem that the parameters of custom Fuzzy threshold are difficult to set, combined with other custom and easy-to-accomplish binary methods, bypassing the problem smartly, we can get the both merits of these two. What's more, the method is very easy and clear. It is proved effective by practice, and can get good performance in similar situations.

The improved algorithm not only bears the effective compression performance of the original algori thm, but also simplifies the algorithm with the reduced processing time of image encoding and decoding and enhanced practical performance as well. The experimental results are appreciated.
