Farklı organik gübrelerin ve kombinasyonlarının adaçayı (Salvia fructicosa Mill.) bitkisinde besin içeriğine ve uçucu yağ miktarına etkisinin incelendiği bu çalışmada sığır gübresi, koyun gübresi ve tavuk gübresi kullanılmıştır. Yetiştiricilik sonunda N, P, K, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu ve uçucu yağ içerikleri belirlenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Bitkilerin besin elementleri içeriklerine organik gübre uygulamaları farklı etkilerde bulunurken uygulamaların etkisi istatistiksel olarak % 1 düzeyde önemli bulunmuştur. Uçucu yağ içerikleri organik gübre uygulamalarıyla artmış ve en fazla uçucu yağ % 2.9 ile tavuk gübresi - koyun gübresi karışımdan elde edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak tıbbi-aromatik bir bitki olan adaçayı bitkisinde besin maddesi miktarları ve uçucu yağ içerikleri organik gübre uygulamalarıyla artmış ve bitki gelişimine olumlu etkilerde bulunmuştur

The angular variation of the spectra indicated the substitution of the host Cd2+ with Cu2+. The observed values of the g and A hyperfine tensors were found to be temperature dependent, and this dependence is discussed and explained on the basis of dynamic Jahn-Teller effects. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters were found to be axial symmetric at room temperature, whereas they showed deviations from axial symmetry at low temperature. The g and A tensors where found to be coaxial within the limits of experimental errors, and the ground state wave functions of the complex at 300 and 133 K have been constructed.

Impurity sites in the unit, cell and the molecular structure of the vanadyl complexes in the crystal are discussed. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters have been calculated from single crystal as well as the powder spectra. The g and A tensors are found to be axially symmetric. Correlating the optical and EPR data the molecular orbital coefficients and crystal-field parameters are calculated and discussed.

The spectra indicated the presence of two substitutional and interstitial sites depending on the orientation. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters were determined from single crystal and powder EPR data. These parameters were found to be axial symmetric for the powder sample, whereas they showed deviations from axial symmetry for the single crystal.

WOS: 000371930800015, The objective of the present study was to investigate microwave-assisted drying of Jerusalem artichoke tubers to determine the effects of the processing conditions. Drying time (DT) and effective moisture diffusivity (EMD) were determined to evaluate the drying process in terms of dehydration performance, whereas the rehydration ratio (RhR) was considered as a significant quality index. A pretreatment of soaking in a NaCl solution was applied before all trials. The output power of the microwave oven, slice thickness and NaCl concentration of the pretreatment solution were the three investigated parameters. The drying process was accelerated by altering the conditions while obtaining a higher quality product. For optimization of the drying process, response surface methodology (RSM) and genetic algorithms (GA) were used. Model adequacy was evaluated for each corresponding mathematical expression developed for interested responses by RSM. The residual of the model obtained by GA was compared to that of the RSM model. The GA was successful in high-performance prediction and produced results similar to those of RSM. The analysis and results of the present study show that both RSM and GA models can be used in cohesion to gain insight into the bioprocessing system.
