TITLE: Education as a Way to Freedom in Philosophy of Jan Patočka AUTHOR: Bc. Lukáš Kalina DEPARTMENT: Social Sciences and Philosophy Department SUPERVISOR: doc. PhDr. Naděžda Pelcová, CSc. ABSTRACT: This master's thesis will show the concept of education as the way to freedom in the philosophy of Jan Patočka. It will deal with common phenomenological basis of philosopher to education for freedom and the concept of freedom, and also philosopher's viewpoint to the instrumental education and general link between instrumentality and free human beings. What means ''to raise/educate'' or ''to be raised/educated'' and how Jan Patočka thinks in the meaning of educational/raising methods. During recent decades, alkali-activated slag (AAS) systems have attracted great scientific interest around the world. Despite many efforts its severe shrinkage and cracking is still a delicate issue. The aim of this work was to partially replace slag by cement kiln bypass dust (CBPD) which, on the basis of its mineralogical composition, would act as an expansive agent (EA) and thus compensate AAS shrinkage. It was observed that volume changes of AAS/CBPD mixtures strongly depended on CBPD dose since low slag replacement levels did not significantly reduce autogenous shrinkage while around 50% of CBPD or more led to severe expansion. Based on X-ray diffraction, this expansion is related to hydrocalumite-type phase formation. The presence of CBPD also totally modified calorimetric response of AAS pastes., This outcome has been achieved with financial support of the Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) under the project No 18-12289Y.

Herein, we presented electromagnetic interference shielding characteristics of NiFe2O4 nanoparticles-in-situ thermally-reduced graphene oxide (RGO)-polypropylene nanocomposites with the variation of reduced graphene oxide content. The structural, morphological, magnetic, and electromagnetic parameters and mechanical characteristics of fabricated nanocomposites were investigated and studied in detail. The controllable composition of NiFe 2 O 4 -RGO-Polypropylene nanocomposites exhibited electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness (SE) with a value of 29.4 dB at a thickness of 2 mm. The enhanced EMI shielding properties of nanocomposites with the increase of RGO content could be assigned to enhanced attenuation ability, high conductivity, dipole and interfacial polarization, eddy current loss, and natural resonance. The fabricated lightweight NiFe 2 O 4 -RGO-Polypropylene nanocomposites have potential as a high performance electromagnetic interference shielding nanocomposite. © 2019 by the authors.
