International audience; Co 2+ ions in an octahedral crystal field stabilize a j eff = 1/2 ground state with an orbital degree of freedom and have been recently put forward for realizing Kitaev interactions, a prediction we have tested by investigating spin dynamics in two cobalt honeycomb lattice compounds, Na 2 Co 2 TeO 6 and Na 3 Co 2 SbO 6 , using inelastic neutron scattering. We used linear spin wave theory to show that the magnetic spectra can be reproduced with a spin Hamiltonian including a dominant Kitaev nearest-neighbor interaction, weaker Heisenberg interactions up to the third neighbor, and bond-dependent off-diagonal exchange interactions. Beyond the Kitaev interaction that alone would induce a quantum spin liquid state, the presence of these additional couplings is responsible for the zigzag-type long-range magnetic ordering observed at low temperature in both compounds. These results provide evidence for the realization of Kitaev-type coupling in cobalt-based materials, despite hosting a weaker spin-orbit coupling than their 4d and 5d counterparts.

Low molecular weight monohydroxy alcohols are excellent glass formers and their structural and dynamic properties have been extensively discussed at the crystalline, glassy, supercooled liquid and ordinary liquid states [1-3]. Isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol can easily form a glass if cooled fast enough to avoid the crystallization process. The structure, dynamics and the thermodynamic properties of isopropanol have been widely studied and frequently discussed in terms of the molecular aggregates formed by the hydrogen bonds [3]. We have studied the dynamics of isopropanol during crystallization by using quasielastic neutron scattering methods in real time. In this case, supercooled liquid isopropanol has been subjected to isothermal annealing above its glass transition temperature. Our results reveal that the time scale of the isopropanol reorientation dynamics is altered for the late stages of the crystallization process. We propose the existence of a confinement effect during the transformation of amorphous isopropanol into its triclinic phase, in this way modifying the intrinsic nature of the dynamics assessed by quasielastic neutron scattering at the ns timescale, mainly for low values of the momentum transfer.

La Tecnología de la Información y Comunicación ha adquirido una notable presencia en la educación. Este trabajo analiza una experiencia de blended learning en la Educación Primaria previa una explicación de la naturaleza del blended learning apoyada en una breve investigación bibliográfica. Algunos alumnos de la Universidad de Navarra han producido materiales didácticos interactivos con la herramienta de autor (üdütü) y varios programas de edición. Estos materiales han sido utilizados por alumnas de Educación Primaria bajo las estrategias de blended learning. La combinación de la enseñanza presencial no presencial ha fomentado un aprendizaje significativo y autónomo de las alumnas ya que se potencian las fortalezas y se disminuyen las debilidades de ambas modalidades

El actual sistema educativo apuesta por un modelo deinclusión para dar respuesta a las necesidades educativas que presentan los alumnos con discapacidad visual. En vista de ello, es necesario que los profesionales en contacto con este tipo de alumnado, sean capaces de desarrollar las principales implicaciones educativas y pedagogías en el ambiente escolar. Los profesionales de la educación deben adaptar los materiales educativos para lograr una óptima inclusión y socialización de los alumnos con discapacidad visual. La Tecnología de la Información y la Comunicación es un elemento fundamental para lograr la inclusión de los alumnos con discapacidad visual y permitir su acceso a la educación. En este artículo, se realiza una revisión y clasificación de los diferentes materiales tiflotécnicos y tiflotecnológicos existentes en el mercado según las distintas materias curriculares.
