Tüm bu konular araştırmalar ışığında tartışılmaktadır., The transradial approach is a novel method for coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention. Its popularity has grown since its initial application and is now a common technique in many facilities. This is because the transradial approach is less invasive than the conventional approach, which requires catheter placement into the coronary arteries. Transradial access is safer than trans-femoral access because it results in fewer complications at the interventional site, requires a shorter hospital stay, enables the patient to be mobilized sooner, provides a higher degree of patient comfort, and carries a lower risk of significant bleeding events. This research examines the advantages of accessing coronary arteries through the radial artery, as well as the suggestions made by the guidelines and the challenges generated by the technique. All these issues were discussed in light of existing studies.

- Abstract
Objective: Premature atrial contractions (PACs) are a prevalent cardiac occurrence. Recent research indicates that PACs are linked to atrial fibrillation (AF), ischemic stroke, and mortality. We aimed to investigate the association of PACs and the risk of recurrent stroke in patients with ischemic stroke in sinus rhythm. Methods: The study was conducted as a cross-sectional study. 24-hour standard three-lead Holter ECG monitoring was performed for seven days and analyzed. Patients were separated into two groups based on the results of Holter ECG monitoring: those with subclinical AF and those with frequent PACs. Frequent PACs were characterized as more than fourteen PACs per hour and >3 PAC runs each 24 hours. Subclinical AF was defined as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, or atrial tachycardia events detected by implantable or wearable cardiac devices in people without AF symptoms and in whom clinical AF was not previously detected. Results: 150 patients, consisting of 82 men (54.7% of the total) and 68 women (45.3%), with an average age of 60.9±13.5 years, were enrolled in the research. Based on the Holter findings, patients were separated into subclinical AF (n=54) and frequent PACs (n=96).During hospitalization, recurrent ischemic stroke was detected in 6 patients (11%) in the subclinical AF arm and 26 patients (26%) in the frequent PACs arm (p=0.03). Six patients died of whom 4 died after a recurrent stroke event in the hospital. In univariate analysis age [OR: 1.03, 95%CI (1-1.07), p=0.02], dyslipidemia [OR: 2.68, 95%CI (1.16-6.18), p=0.021] and frequent PACs [OR: 2.97, 95%CI (1.13-7.76), p=0.026] were found significant predictors of recurrent stroke. Furthermore, in multivariate logistic regression analysis only frequent PACs [OR: 2.69, 95%CI (1-7.17), p=0.048] was found independent predictors of recurrent stroke. Conclusion: Frequent PACs on Holter analysis were significantly associated with recurrent ischemic stroke.

This work considers the problem of mitigating information leakage between communication and sensing in systems jointly performing both operations. Specifically, a discrete memoryless state-dependent broadcast channel model is studied in which (i) the presence of feedback enables a transmitter to convey information, while simultaneously performing channel state estimation; (ii) one of the receivers is treated as an eavesdropper whose state should be estimated but which should remain oblivious to part of the transmitted information. The model abstracts the challenges behind security for joint communication and sensing if one views the channel state as a key attribute, e.g., location. For independent and identically distributed states, perfect output feedback, and when part of the transmitted message should be kept secret, a partial characterization of the secrecy-distortion region is developed. The characterization is exact when the broadcast channel is either physically-degraded or reversely-physically-degraded. The partial characterization is also extended to the situation in which the entire transmitted message should be kept secret. The benefits of a joint approach compared to separation-based secure communication and state-sensing methods are illustrated with binary joint communication and sensing models., arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:2202.10790

The objective of this study was to determine the risk factors in the production processes of cattle and small ruminant breeding enterprises, along with developing a scale that could be used during the insured breeding process in different regions of Turkey. In this study, we obtained information from 252 enterprises from different provinces (Afyonkarahisar, Aksaray, Ankara, Burdur, Karaman, and Konya) of Turkey. Reliability and validity analyses were conducted using the “Risk Assessment Form in Cattle and Small Ruminant Animal Production”. The Cronbach alpha (α) coefficient was used to analyze reliability, while the exploratory factor analysis was applied to analyze the validity. About 68.7% (173) of the enterprises included cattle breeding, while the remaining 31.3% (79) involved small ruminant breeding. To determine the risk factors, twenty-four questions were directed toward the livestock enterprises, and the following six factors were determined: Economic-Political Risks, Yield/Product Losses, Enterprise Technical Risks, Credit/Financing, Workforce, Enterprise Follow-up, and Registration. In the politico-economic risk scoring, the score of enterprises already having Animal life insurance (ALI) was observed to be higher than those who did not have it, with the difference being statistically significant (p

We consider a set of security and privacy problems under reliability and storage constraints that can be tackled by using codes and particularly focus on the secret-key agreement problem. Polar subcodes (PSCs) are polar codes (PCs) with dynamically-frozen symbols and have a larger code minimum distance than PCs with only statically-frozen symbols. A randomized nested PSC construction, where the low-rate code is a PSC and the high-rate code is a PC, is proposed for successive cancellation list (SCL) and sequential decoders. This code construction aims to perform lossy compression with side information, i.e., Wyner-Ziv (WZ) coding. Nested PSCs are used in the key agreement problem with physical identifiers and two terminals since WZ-coding constructions significantly improve on Slepian-Wolf coding constructions such as fuzzy extractors. Significant gains in terms of the secret-key vs. storage rate ratio as compared to nested PCs with the same list sizes are illustrated to show that nested PSCs significantly improve on all existing code constructions. The performance of the nested PSCs is shown to improve with larger list sizes, unlike the nested PCs considered. A design procedure to efficiently construct nested PSCs and possible improvements to the nested PSC designs are also provided.

- Abstract
The total amount of carbon deposited by forests is gross primary productivity (GPP), and the net amount remaining after respiration is net primary productivity (NPP). The carbon storage effectiveness of forests is determined by the NPP:GPP ratio. This ratio is carbon use efficiency (CUE), and it is important for understanding the dynamics of carbon exchange between the biosphere and atmosphere. The aim of this study is to evaluate the variation of CUE, which is commonly used as a constant value in terrestrial carbon models, in different forest types and ecoregions of Turkey. The distribution of forest types in different ecoregions of Turkey was determined and, NPP, GPP, and CUE values were calculated for the different forest types in each region in this study. Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) satellite image was obtained for NPP and GPP content of forest types. In addition that the CORINE land use classification system was used for the spatial distribution of coniferous, broad-leaved and mixed forests in Turkey. The highest mean NPP (640 gC / m-2 y-1) and GPP (856 gC / m-2 y-1) were found in coniferous forests. The lowest NPP (267 gC / m-2 y-1) and GPP (493 gC / m-2 y-1) were detected in mixed forests in the Southeastern Anatolian Transitional Region. The highest CUE value was found in the Black Sea Climatic Region (0.89). Our results showed that the CUE was not a constant value. Although the mean CUE values among forest types were close to each other, significant differences were found between ecoregions. With the findings obtained, it is recommended that the CUE value should be determined under different environmental conditions

Objective: Hypertension is a major global public health concern. There is a paucity of studies describing military populations with hypertension. We aimed to demonstrate Turkish military personnel with hypertension and review associated factors in a garrison of Diyarbakır City. Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study comprised 22,141 individuals referred to an outpatient cardiology clinic between August 2016 and June 2022 with complaints of early morning headaches, abnormal heart rhythms, nosebleeds, visual problems, and buzzing in the ears. Sociodemographic characteristics were collected. Analyses of laboratory test findings and blood pressure measurements were conducted. Results: The study comprised a total of 174 patients with an average age of 32.68±6.51 years. 94.8 percent of the patients were not drug users, and 68.3 percent had no strong family history. The prevalence of hydration habits (29.4%) and sleep disturbances (22.5%) were lower. According to body mass index (BMI), the rate of overweight was higher (56.8%). Most patients' educational status was bachelor’s degrees (46.5%). The smoking rate was high (73%). Body mass index was a statistically significant predictive factor of hypertension (OR [95% CI], 2.69 [1.0-7.17], p= 0.048). Physical exercise rate in the past three months was a statistically significant predictive factor for hypertension (OR [95%CI], 2.98 [1.42-6.23], p=0.021). Conclusion: Hypertension was detected in 0.78 percent of all participants and was associated with being overweight and a lower frequency of physical exercise.

- Abstract
Arrhythmias can occur because of cardiac involvement in patients with brucellosis. We investigated the effect of Brucella (Brucella melitensis) on cardiac arrhythmias in patients without pre-existing arrhythmogenic heart disease.205 patients with sinus rhythm who were diagnosed with brucellosis and 205 healthy controls were enrolled. ECG was performed, and the parameters were recorded for each patient. 24-hour ambulatory ECG (Holter) monitoring was conducted, and the recordings were analyzed. The time-domain heart rate variability (HRV) results were evaluated. The average age of the group with brucellosis was 28.9±6.4 years, and 57.1% were male. The ECG parameters, including P dispersion (Pd), QT dispersion (QTd), corrected QTd (QTcd), T-peak to T-end (TpTe), and corrected TpTe (TpTec) were longer and TpTe/QT, TpTe/QTc, TpTec/QT, and TpTec/QTc ratios were higher in the study group compared to the control group (p0.05). Holter monitoring recorded 33 (16.1%) patients in the study group and 3 (3%) in the control group with abnormal rhythms. In the brucellosis group, low frequency (LF), low/high frequency (LF/HF), and the standard deviation of all R-R intervals (SDNN) values, which are known HRV indicators, were substantially different than in the control group (p0.001).We can evaluate the silent involvement of the cardiac conduction system in patients with brucellosis using ECG parameters, which is a non-invasive and simple method in terms of feasibility in clinical follow-up.

IntroductionThis study aims to provide a scale for measuring problematic TikTok use levels by adapting items from the Instagram Addiction Scale.MethodsThe 372 participants were determined by a convenience sampling method, and data were collected through Google online forms. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were performed for construct validity and criterion-related validity analysis. Criterion-related validity for the Problematic TikTok Use Scale (PTTUS) was tested using correlation analysis between the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale and Social Media Use Disorder Scale.ResultsEFA indicated that a three-factor structure should be formed. The first factor is the sub-dimension of obsession and consists of 4 items, the second factor is the escapism sub-dimension and consists of 6 items, and the third factor is the lack of control sub-dimension and consists of 6 items. The model fit for adapting the PTTUS into Turkish was examined with first-level CFA, χ2/sd, RMSEA, CFI, GFI, AGFI, and SRMR, the obtained values show that the three-factor structure of the scale provides acceptable fit. Reliability analyses showed that Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient ranged from 0.83 to 0.90; McDonald’s Omega reliability values was 0.84 to 0.90, and test–retest correlation coefficient ranged from 0.68 to 0.73, indicating sufficient internal consistency and test–retest reliability.ConclusionBased on this information, PTTUS is a measurement tool with sufficient psychometric properties that can be applied to determine individuals’ levels of problematic TikTok use.

Remote sensing technologies have been extensively used in forest management in predicting stand parameters. The goal of this study is to use Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 satellite images to estimate stand volume, basal area, number of trees, mean diameter, and top height. 180 temporary sample plots were taken in pure Crimean pine stands with varied structure. Reflectance, vegetation indices, and eight texture values were generated from Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 satellite images. The stand parameters were modelled with the remotely sensed data using multiple linear regression, support vector machine, and deep learning techniques. The results showed that the support vector machine technique provided the highest level of model performance with 45 degrees orientation for number of trees (R-2 = 0.98, RMSE%=5.97) and 90 degrees orientation for basal area (R-2=0.91, RMSE%=15.22). The results indicated that the texture values presented better results than the reflectance and the vegetation indices in estimating the stand parameters.

Makalede Bursa’da kentsel elit değişimi olgusu, ‘’çokuluslu’’ Cargill şirketinin müdahalesi temelinde ele alınmış, müdahaleye karşı oluşan kentsel kamusal muhalefet/direniş, muhalefetin çözülmesi ve ‘’yeni’’ kentsel kamu kavramlaştırması, kentsel elit döngüsünü açıklamada değerlendirilmiştir The relationship between city and politics, leaving aside the feature of the historical independent states, cannot be handled independently from global point of view. Historically, the world system is shaped by the global economic phenomenon and cities have become the part of global economy. The relation between city and politics in this paper is analyzed in the context of urban elite problem. Urban elite problem is assuming methodically the urban elite cycle and dynamic elite approach. Urban elite cycle and dynamic elite approach on the other hand is considered as an expression of socio-economic and political cultural dynamics. According to this approach, cities are socio-economic and political -cultural structures shaped by global- national and domestic dynamics. Cities are undergoing to crisis caused by socio-economically based changes. The urban elites, affected by this crisis, demonstrate organized public opposition. The result of this opposition can be successful or unsuccessful leading to urban elite cycle. This crisis is putting the old socio-economic structure, power centers, organized public ideology into fragmented-holistic dialectic. By this way, this crisis is adapting these structures to changes of functions and factors of global economy and finance-politics. In this article, urban-elite transformation concept is studied in the context of multinational Cargill Company’s intervention and the reaction of urban public opposition/resistance, dissolution of the opposition and new urban public conceptualization

The aim of this study is to reveal the effects of two different precommercial thinnings on diameter at breast height, basal area and volume increments in narrow-leafed ash (Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl.) plantations established in Sinop, Turkey. Two different precommercial thinnings were applied in the sample plots selected from narrow-leafed ash plantation, and in the first precommercial thinning (I1), the ash individuals grown as a result of planting were left in the field and measured. Naturally grown ash individuals in the next process, on the other hand, were cut and removed from the field, and the distance established by planting in this way (approximately 2 x 2 m) was tried to be maintained. In the second precommercial thinning (I2), the ash individuals grown naturally after planting were left in the field and measured together with the ash individuals grown with planting. Release cuttings at sample plots started in 2004 and the first measurement was carried out this year. Then, at the end of the 2007 growth period, the diameters at breast height of the trees were obtained and evaluations were made depending on the three-year increment results. As a result of the analysis of covariance for diameter at breast height, basal area and volume increments for three years (2004-2007), it was revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the treatments at 99% confidence level. It was determined that the three-year diameter at breast height increments of I1 and I2 treatments in the sample plots were 1.51 cm and 0.65 cm, respectively. Regarding the basal area increment, it was determined that increments of 10.31 m2ha-1 in the I1 treatment and 3.36 m2ha-1 in the I2 treatment were found. In terms of total volume increment, I1 treatment with an increment value of 93.01 m3ha-1 had a much higher increment value compared to the I2 treatment (24.27 m3ha-1). In the study, it has been revealed that removing the individuals naturally grown in the planting area in the next process and providing again 2 x 2 m distance between the trees has a significant effect on both the increase in the values of diameter at breast height increment and the values of the total basal area and volume increments per hectare., Bu çalışmada, Sinop yöresinde tesis edilen dar yapraklı dişbudak plantasyonlarında iki farklı sıklık bakımı müdahalesinin çap, göğüs yüzeyi ve hacim artımı üzerindeki etkilerinin ortaya koyulması amaçlanmıştır.

Determining the most suitable intensities for precommercial thinning (PCT) in oriental beech (Fagus orientalis) stands, which cover substantial areas in Turkey and have a high economic and ecological value, is essential to provide higher economic return and obtain well-formed stems. The effects of various rates of PCT interventions on the growth characteristics of natural stands, located in the northern part of Turkey, were explored to determine appropriate thinning rates; 24 experimental PCT plots (4 PCT rates × 3 replications × 2 sites) were established in young thicket-stage stands and four precommercial thinning rates such as light (1 – 1.5 m spacing), moderate (1.5−2.0 m spacing) and heavy (2.5–3.0 m spacing) thinning, including a control plot (i.e., untreated), were applied. At the end of the 2007 and 2010 growing seasons, the diameter and height of the trees were measured and growth analyzed based on the 3-year and 6-year incremental growth. PCT levels were found to have significant (P

- Abstract
We aimed to compare the long-term follow-up results of patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) who use vitamin K antagonist (VKA) with effective time in therapeutic range (TTR) and non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOACs).A total of 1140 patients were followed at 35 different centers for five years. During the follow-up period, the INR values were studied at least 4 times a year and the TTR values were calculated according to the Roosendaal method. The effective TTR level was accepted as60% as recommended by the guidelines. There were 254 patients in the effective TTR group and 886 patients in the NOACs group. Ischemic cerebrovascular disease/ transient ischemic attack (CVD/TIA), hemorrhagic CVD, and mortality were considered primary endpoints based on one-year and five-year follow-ups.Ischemic CVD/TIA (3.9% vs. 6.2%; P = 0.17) and hemorrhagic CVD (0.4% vs. 0.5%, P = 0.69), the one-year mortality rate (7.1% vs. 8.1%; P = 0.59), five-year mortality rates (24% vs. 26.3%; P = 0.46) were not different between the effective TTR and NOACs groups during the follow-up respectively. The CHA2DS2-VASC score was similar between warfarin with the effective TTR group and NOACs group (3 [2-4] vs. 3 [2-4]; P = 0.17, respectively]. Additionally, survival free-time did not differ between the warfarin with effective TTR group and each NOAC in the Kaplan-Meier analysis (dabigatran, P = 0.59; rivaroxaban, P = 0.34; apixaban, P = 0.26; and edoxaban, P = 0.14).There was no significant difference in primary outcomes between the effective TTR and NOAC groups in AF patients.

The detection of cardiac arrhythmias during vertigo attacks along with the resolution of vertigo by treating the arrhythmias is defined as cardiac vertigo. The cause of palpitations that develop following attacks of non-cardiac vertigo is unknown. We aimed to investigate the effect of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) on the cardiac conduction system and evaluate patients' palpitation complaints using 24-hour ambulatory ECG (Holter) monitoring.Sixty-five patients with BPPV and forty-eight healthy controls were included in the study. ECG was performed on all participants, and ECG parameters were measured. Holter monitoring was performed, and the recordings were analyzed. Evaluation of the time-domain heart rate variability (HRV) results was done. The average age of the vertigo group was 49.1 ± 7.8 years. In terms of demographic or laboratory data, there was no statistically significant difference between the groups (p0.05). The study group's ECG parameters, including Pd, TpTe, and TpTec, were longer, and the TpTe/QT and TpTe/QTc ratios were higher (p0.05). Holter monitoring detected abnormal rhythms in 41 (63%) of the study group patients and three (6.2%) of the control group patients. The SDNN, LF, and LF/HF values, which are known as HRV markers, were significantly different in the vertigo group compared to the control group (p0.001).This study revealed that the risk of arrhythmias increased following attacks of BPPV in patients without a known history of cardiac vertigo.

We extend the problem of secure source coding by considering a remote source whose noisy measurements are correlated random variables used for secure source reconstruction. The main additions to the problem are as follows: (1) all terminals noncausally observe a noisy measurement of the remote source; (2) a private key is available to all legitimate terminals; (3) the public communication link between the encoder and decoder is rate-limited; and (4) the secrecy leakage to the eavesdropper is measured with respect to the encoder input, whereas the privacy leakage is measured with respect to the remote source. Exact rate regions are characterized for a lossy source coding problem with a private key, remote source, and decoder side information under security, privacy, communication, and distortion constraints. By replacing the distortion constraint with a reliability constraint, we obtain the exact rate region for the lossless case as well. Furthermore, the lossy rate region for scalar discrete-time Gaussian sources and measurement channels is established. An achievable lossy rate region that can be numerically computed is also provided for binary-input multiple additive discrete-time Gaussian noise measurement channels. Objective Recruits undergo medical examination before mandatory service. After enlistment, if recruits have health problems, they are sent to a medical board to establish fitness for their duties. We aimed to analyze the complaints of palpitations after physical training in recruits without a known history of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and determine whether the diagnoses were suitable for duty. Methods This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among 25,666 participants who were admitted to an outpatient cardiology clinic due to complaints of palpitations between August 2016 and June 2022. Information regarding socio-demographic characteristics was collected. Laboratory test results and electrocardiography (ECG) were analyzed. The diagnoses were evaluated. Results In total, 582 patients who were dismissed from the military were included in the study. The mean age of patients was 19.23±2.02 years. Among the patients, drug use (26; 6.2%) and history of addictive substance use (178; 30.6%) were low. The number of days of service under 10 was high (450; 77.3%). The prevalence of sleep disturbance (122; 21%) and hydration habits (154; 26.5%) were low. According to ECG findings, premature atrial contractions were high (250; 42.9%). There was a significant correlation between the ECG findings and seasons (p0.001).Rheumatic valve disease (83; 14.26%) and supraventricular tachycardia (77; 13.23%) were the most common diagnoses. Conclusion 2.2 percent of all participants admitted to the hospital due to palpitations were dismissed from the military service, and 0.7 percent of them were diagnosed with cardiac conduction system disease.

In this study, the success of different satellite images and classification approaches in land cover (LC) classification were compared. A total of six satellite images, including two passive (Landsat 8 OLI (L8) and Sentinel-2 (S2)) satellite images and four fused satellite images from active (Sentinel-1(S1)-VH and VV polarization) and passive satellite images (L8-S1-VH, L8-S1-VV, S2-S1-VH and S2-S1-VV) were used in the classification in the study. For this purpose, L8, S2, L8-S1-VH, L8-S1-VV, S2-S1-VH and S2-S1-VV satellite images were classified according to three ((Maximum Likelihood Classification (MLC), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)) different image classification approaches using the forest cover types map as gorund data. The results obtained from classification methods were evaluated based on overall accuracies (OA) and kappa coefficients (KC). When the classification successes obtained from the three classification methods are evaluated, it was observed that the KC ranged from 0.66 to 0.95 and the OA ranged from 76.82% to 96.67. The results indicated that the highest OA was displayed by MLC (ranged 85.33% to 96.67%), closely followed by SVM (ranged 80.11% to 91.93%), and finally ANN (ranged 76.82% to 89.92%). In addition, a comparison of classification performance using three utilized classification algorithms was performed. The S1-VH; S1-VV and, S2 and L8 fused images classified with an MLC algorithm produce the most accurate LC map, indicating an OA of 92.00%, 94.00%, 96.67%, 93.33% and a KC of 0.90, 0.93, 0.95, 0.92 for S2 and L8, respectively. Thus, it can be concluded that fused of satellite images improve the accuracies of LC classification.

This tutorial reviews fundamental contributions to information security. An integrative viewpoint is taken that explains the security metrics, including secrecy, privacy, and others, the methodology of information-theoretic approaches, along with the arising system design principles, as well as techniques that enable the information-theoretic designs to be applied in real communication and computing systems. The tutorial, while summarizing these contributions, argues for the simultaneous pivotal role of fundamental limits and coding techniques for secure communication system design.

The problem of secret-key-based authentication under privacy and storage constraints on the source sequence is considered. Identifier measurement channels during authentication are assumed to be controllable via a cost-constrained action sequence. Inner and outer bounds for the key-leakage-storage-cost regions are derived for a generalization of the classic two-terminal key agreement model. Additions to the model are that the encoder observes a noisy version of a remote source, and this noisy output and the remote source output together with an action sequence are given as inputs to the measurement channel at the decoder. Thus, correlation is introduced between the noise components on the encoder and decoder measurements. The model with a key generated by an encoder is extended to the randomized models, where a key is embedded to the encoder. The results are relevant for several user and device authentication scenarios including physical and biometric identifiers with multiple measurements that provide diversity and multiplexing gains. Achievable (key, storage, cost) tuples are evaluated for binary identifiers and measurement channels represented as a mixture of binary symmetric subchannels. Significant gains from using an action sequence are illustrated to motivate the use of low-complexity transform-coding algorithms with cost-constrained actions.

Waiswa D, Günlü A. 2022. Economic analysis of dairy production in Uganda, a case study on the performance of dairy cattle enterprises in Southwestern Uganda. Asian J Agric 6: 61-67. The economic performance of dairy cattle enterprises in Southwestern Uganda was analyzed in this study. A survey was conducted on 100 dairy cattle enterprises in Mbarara, Kiruhura, Lyantonde, Ibanda, and Isingiro Districts using data compilation forms covering the 2019/20 production year. The unit production cost of milk was determined as US$0.19L-1. Veterinary expenses had the largest share of the production costs at 24.94%, followed by labor costs, depreciation of the inventory value, other expenses, and feed costs, which contributed 14.11%, 12.46%, 11.96%, and 11.41%, respectively. Additional costs included the depreciation of animals, electricity and water, buildings, equipment and machinery, maintenance-repair, and general administrative expenses, which contributed 9.95%, 7.86%, 2.54%, 2.29%, and 2.48% to the total production costs, respectively. As a result, while the net profit of the enterprises was determined as US$1435.29, their financial profitability was 0.59, the profitability factor was 12.20, and the output-input ratio was 1.06. The overall profitability of the enterprises was affected mainly by the high veterinary expenses due to the high prevalence rates of tick-borne infections and the irrational distribution of capital elements. Therefore, measures to reduce the occurrence of tick-borne diseases are considered vital in lowering milk production costs, thereby increasing the profitability of enterprises.

The model abstracts the challenges behind security for joint communication and sensing if one views the channel state as a sensitive attribute, e.g., location. The benefits of a joint approach compared to separation-based secure communication and state-sensing methods are illustrated with a binary joint communication and sensing model., Comment: Shorter version to appear in the 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory

We extend a previous framework for designing differentially private (DP) mechanisms via randomized graph colorings that was restricted to binary functions, corresponding to colorings in a graph, to multi-valued functions. As before, datasets are nodes in the graph and any two neighboring datasets are connected by an edge. In our setting, we assume that each dataset has a preferential ordering for the possible outputs of the mechanism, each of which we refer to as a rainbow. Different rainbows partition the graph of datasets into different regions. We show that if the DP mechanism is pre-specified at the boundary of such regions and behaves identically for all same-rainbow boundary datasets, at most one optimal such mechanism can exist and the problem can be solved by means of a morphism to a line graph. We then show closed form expressions for the line graph in the case of ternary functions. Treatment of ternary queries in this paper displays enough richness to be extended to higher-dimensional query spaces with preferential query ordering, but the optimality proof does not seem to follow directly from the ternary proof., To appear in the 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory
